I've seen this in retail stores for 25% more, but never got around to buying one. I stumbled over it on Amazon, and couldn't beat the price.

I cook a lot of salmon on my Weber Genesis, and have always had a difficult time keeping pieces of fish from sticking to the grill with my regular flipper.

This product solved my problem. It's the perfect size for a 1lb. filet, and the edge is tapered just enough that you can get under the fish without cutting in to it. No more jabbing at the fish to keep it intact, and no more balancing.

This is one solid piece of metal, with no rivets, screws, or weld marks to collect food and debris. There is a black rubber insert under the handle to make it easier to grip. The hook on the end is the perfect length to flip down and hold the grip off the surface it is resting on.

While the item has stood up well to several years of abuse, the turner has it's pros and cons. I have had no issues cleaning it and it still looks the same as when I purchased it, which is more than I can say for the Weber tongs which fell apart. Does the job.

The biggest cons being that it can be difficult to store and leave hanging due to its large size. Could be a bit more egronomic.

A great BBQ tool! We use it for all meats--hamburger patties, steaks, chicken breasts, etc. The handle is plenty long & the wide spatula portion prevents larger meats from falling off the sides when turning. Highly recommended!!

This is heavier fabric than the lower cost Koveroos III fabric, which is essentially Tyvek or something very much like it with some coloring. Whereas the Koveroos III is an unwoven material, the Weathermax is woven. It appears to be just like a thin woven nylon except it feels stiffer and is coated to impede water penetration. It is more resistant than Koveroos III to tears but you still want to be careful around the sharper edges and corners of barbecue.

I've used canvas covers and they breaks down from the UV in sunlight in a year or two. Nylon covers last a year, usually, as the UV in sunlight dries the plastic and makes it stiff and brittle -jsut imagine what UV does to your skin!

I've had Koveroos III covers last about 4 years or so before I finally accidentally tear it on a sharp corner -Otherwise it would hold up for many years of sunlight. I expect weathermax to last longer because it should be more difficult to tear.

You can wash Weathermax in a front loader but don't put it in the dryer -it will ruin the coating.

Neither of these are truly waterproof but they tend to resist letting liquid water through. So, moisture gets through when it's raining water drops are shed and the cover can also dry out after a rain and that's key to avoiding rust,mold, and mildew.

The price on Amazon when I bought was a good discount from retail.

Also, Koveroos III and Weathermax protects from bird droppings for birds that like to alight on the barbecue itself.

I rarely review items. I must note my disappointment, however, with customer service for this item. While the description clearly states for the Performer Grill, this grate did not fit it. The Seller insisted on a restocking fee of 1/3 of the cost of the item. When pointed out to the seller, the seller responded that there was more than one size grate for the Performer Grill. This was checked via Weber product description and confirmed to be inaccurate during the customer service call. The inaccuracy of the product description notwithstanding, the seller refused to accept the return without the restocking fee. I cannot recommend the seller, when other merchants would have treated the customer with more respect.

This hinged grate easily allows you to put in extra charcoal or even move them around while still cooking food. The original was quite frustrating, you easily could drop your food onto the ground while trying to access the hot charcoals. While one should have bought the larger grill for cooking beyond several people, I'm stuck with my 18 incher and the hinged grill is a must have, I can guarantee you can't live without it or you'll always say I should have bought one when it's too late to do so

Admittedly I don't do indirect grilling much at all, but I do like to add soaked wood chips on top of my charcoal just before grilling and though this might be an easy solution to removing the very hot grate. Honestly the hinge openings aren't big enough to do much of anything and became more of a pain than anything else. If you do indirect grilling this might be worth the money, but I would probably figure out another way to add more charcoal.

I just bought the new grids right before cold weather hit so haven't actually had a chance to use the grill. But, right out of the box, I am happy with the quality and construction of the product looks like the original grill grid. I read a review that said that their new grids didn't last very long. I know that my originals got ruined because I left the grill cover up in the rain one too many times. I have a cover over my grill now and the lid is always down when not in use so hoping that will resolve the rusting issue with the grid. If I get two or three summers from the new grill grids, I will be happy. $65 is certainly cheaper than a $300 grill.

My original grills were broken and this was the only place that I could find the exact fit. Got them delivered on time and they fit great. They work great, for the most part. Although once the heat inside the bbq unit hit 500F, it melted some of the black finish on the grill. Still usable, except that it's not as smooth as it used to be.

This bbq mop is basically worthless. The mop head just falls off while you are using it. Yeah, it's removable, but it should at least stay on while you are trying to use it for the intended purpose.

Burners didn't come with fire resistent gasket which I was told by several bbq companies it should have come with as a gas and heat seal to protect the ignighters as well as preventing gas from leaking outside bbq. I had to contact a company that specialized in making gaskets for bbq's and machinery which was no easy task to find (http://www.bbqgaskets.com/).

Also, one of the four burner replacements had been welded on backwards so screwd didn't allign and I was forced to drill my own holes.

There was good engineering thought put into the replacement burners. My original Vermont Castings grill burners were mounted on one side and they were free standing on the other side. Over time the mounted end had corroded away and the screw holes had either disappeared or enlarged to the point where you wouldn't be able to use the original screw. The replacements have an metal extended "bridge" on the one side and then the screw mount end. The entire burner was able to sit flush, tight, and horizontal keeping the entire burner stable. Overall nice replacement product!

I measured it out on my Costco Kirkland Model 720-0108 gas grill and matched it to these burners and they fit perfectly. They look nice and work just like the originals. The previous reviewer probably didn't measure his grill thinking they're all the same but they're not. Costco sells a lot of different grills that have different burner sizes. Check out your grill first to make sure yours uses the 'U' shaped burners that are 16 1/2" long.

The only minor nitpick I have is that the originals come with wingnuts to fasten the burners to the rear mounting bracket, but these come with standard M5 hexnuts. I'm just thinking ahead to when these will need to be replaced. After several years, the hexnuts will get all rusty and gunked up and will likely be hard to remove. So, I went to the local hardware store and bought three M5 .8 wingnuts and used those instead of the hexnuts that came with it. The price for these was a lot more reasonable than from the BBQ specialty websites so the price was right too.

So, I'm very pleased, just one star off for the hexnuts.

I have used this rib rack in my gas grill twice now and I am not pleased with the performance it delivered. The rack has discolored and will not clean up as promised. The ribs need to be cut into smaller sections as a full rack of ribs will not balance well in the rack. It is difficult to pickup from the grill as the sections on the end do not lend themselves to be gripped easily.

We were pleased with the way this cooked the ribs in our new smoker. However, the rack was too short for the ribs we purchased, so we had to cut the ribs in half, then many of the ribs were too short for the rack and kept falling thru. So just be cautious as to how you cut your ribs.

I used this product for the first time last night to cook baby back ribs. It worked great! I bought the Ribolator to use with my 22.5" Weber Grill with the Charcoal Kettle Rotisserie. No worries about racks sticking and overturning your food into the coals (from earlier review). I followed the cooking instructions from the Ribolator home page and the Ribs came out perfect. It's rare for a product to exceed its expectations the way the Ribolator does, but the simplicity of design and quality of the metal used make this a joy to use. The first use was with a single baby back pork rib rack, cut in half and arranged on two staggered trays. The ribs were cooked 3 hours as per the directions on a Weber gas grill using the rotisserie burner on low and the smoke tray burner on low. The resulting product was as good as the best KC style ribs from any professional pit and the final sauce glazing prevented any excessive bark crusting. The key is the apple juice spray during cooking to keep the ribs moist. We look forward to many more cooks on this outstanding device, for chicken or salmon is should be brilliant. The clean up was super easy, just spray before use with cooking spray, then release the remaining residue under hot water and with a light use of a scouring pad back to new in 5 minutes.! I use this with a Weber 22.5" Kettle and it fits and works as advertised. Greatly increases capacity for cooking cut chicken and baby backribs. Also a great way to cook burgers and "strip" steaks. The trays arent big enough for much more than what Ive listed.

Only 4 stars because I did lose a slab of beef ribs...they shifted a bit between checks, flipped the shelf, and ended up in the charcoal.

Purchased this item to BBQ St. Louis style ribs. Did an excellent job! However! My rack of ribs were 5 1/2 inches wide x 18 long, the trays are 5x17. I tried to make it work without cutting the ribs, but however in the end I had to cut my rib racks into 5inch pieces, still worked out fine, I suppose Baby backs aren't as wide and would work without cutting. Yes, like others have said, you need to be sure the food you are cooking is balanced in the trays.

In the end though this is a great product but for me having 5 1/2 wide x 18 long trays would be ideal.

These brushes seem to be heat tolerant as advertised. Because of the slick surfaces, they are better for sticky sauces than oily ones or sauces with large particles in them.

After a few (really--only a few) washings the heads slip off of the handles quite easily (I almost said "quite handily").
