I ended up buying both the Lodge and Cajun grills so here is my comparison of the two. The most noticeable difference is in the quality of the casting. The Cajun is made in China and is shows. The grill grate has small bubbles and imperfections that don't exist on the Lodge. Overall the cast iron is simply inferior on the Cajun. The access door to the ashes is very poorly designed and falls out easily. I am sure it will break one of these times when it hits the patio concrete just right. I bought the Cajun because it had a larger grill surface. If the larger grill surface is important to you then go with the Cajun. Both do what you expect a cast iron hibachi to do....there is nothing that compares in my opinion. Bottom line, the Lodge is a noticeably higher quality and better designed product but they both do the same thing. Both manufacturers placed large medallion logos in the middle of the grill surface....not a good idea....messes with the all important grill marks.

This grill is bigger than it looks, yet, surprisingly light. The item arrived quickly and very well packaged. I'm impressed with the vendor and with the product. There were no reviews posted when I purchased this, so I hesitated (about 3 months) before purchasing, and am happy to report just how pleased I am with this. Additionally the construction, cast iron pieces, is excellent, as well as the sturdy handle, which tucks conveniently away when not in use. You can see it in the photo, a detail I had originally missed.

I had also shopped for the Lodge model most similar, which is in all the stores locally, as well as the Braai grill (at twice the price) Potjie Braai Hibachi.

I have an endless supply of windfall oak branches in the yard. I got a Cajun Cookware Grill Round Cast Iron Hibachi Grill. 14 1/4 inch diameter cooking grill. 11 1/2 inch diameter fire grill. I made a small wood fire and waited for the fire to change to glowing charcoal. I oiled up the food grill. Immediately put on the food grill and heated it up for five minutes till it began to smoke. Oiled up the grill again. Immediately put on a small steak. Steak came out great. It was well seared. Grill cleans easily. Had to move fast because a wood fire doesn't produce much charcoal and it burns very quickly. I think I would have to add store bought charcoal for bigger meats or longer cooking.

I've bought about 20 of these regulators over the past two years. The regulator works well. The only issue is that the threads connecting the POL fitting to the regulator always leak. The manufacturer uses white teflon tape on the threads and it's not gas tight. The fix is easy, just remove the POL put pipe dope on the threads and reattach.

My local gas authority used to supply my propane, but my 32k btu propane unit which is used only when someone use's hot water, not even a pilot light is running on this thing. Some how kept burning up hundreds of gallons of propane in months time.. Well, ultimately I found out that their equipment had leaks,and when you report it, they blow you off on how much the system was leaking.. I've sense switched to this regulator for my heating needs using a simple #20 tank and I change tanks every two weeks to three weeks... I don't even smell the constant gas smell form this regulator like I did the gas authority's.. Its easy to use, and very reliable.. You don't even need tools to change tanks out.. I replaced another regulator with this one. It is supplying a cooktop with 4 6000 BTU burners and an 18000 BTU wall heater. It handles all that just fine and seems to maintain a good steady pressure. I have it mounted on a 20# tank which shouldn't run all that (I have read), but it works just fine for me.

I just bought the new grids right before cold weather hit so haven't actually had a chance to use the grill. But, right out of the box, I am happy with the quality and construction of the product looks like the original grill grid. I read a review that said that their new grids didn't last very long. I know that my originals got ruined because I left the grill cover up in the rain one too many times. I have a cover over my grill now and the lid is always down when not in use so hoping that will resolve the rusting issue with the grid. If I get two or three summers from the new grill grids, I will be happy. $65 is certainly cheaper than a $300 grill.

My original grills were broken and this was the only place that I could find the exact fit. Got them delivered on time and they fit great. They work great, for the most part. Although once the heat inside the bbq unit hit 500F, it melted some of the black finish on the grill. Still usable, except that it's not as smooth as it used to be.

These seem to do the trick and they are cheap enough. The 2 gripes I have are that there is no attachment for the igniter and that there is no way to lock the 2 sliding halves together to ensure that the gas holes line up once it is in position.

NOTE: there is an adjustment for how much air the burner gets. Mine came wide open and I had to adjust it down to get a good flame.

This telescopes out and two long hinges flip over and lock in place. It weighs next to nothing. It's quite useful, it's no fun to cook on the ground. I bought this item with a Coleman camping stove, which has turned out to be excellent (the stove). Regardless of whether you extend this stand fully or peg the legs in place IT IS NOT SAFE. The liklihood that your stove will fall through this stand is extremely high. I spent a long time experimenting with it before being forced to return it and buy a table. On the package another suggested use is as a stand for suspending a rubbish bag. If that is all that it can be used for, it's not worth the cash. A redesign is needed.

We own two of these stove stands, and we are considering a third as an addition, not a replacement. We purchased the stands 8 to 10 years ago, and have used them several times each year. They are none the worse for wear. We put our 2-burner camp stove on one stand and the ice chest on a second one. Based on the design of our current stove, we must carefully gauge the proper width of the stand for the stove, but once it is set up, it is perfect. The feet of the stand have holes for staking the stand in conditions where you might feel a need to do so, such as when set up on uneven terrain, or if you anticipate people or pets might be inclined to bump into it. Overall, we find the stands to be very stable. I like this design over a camp "kitchen" because it allows me the flexibility of setting up each component individually, based on the characteristics of the camp site. This stand cannot be beat for portability: lightweight and extremely compact when collapsed. Sometimes we place a board over the top of the stand to make a portable table for preparation, dishwashing, or to support a small grill.

As for price, we paid $20 for the original purchase, and the current price is not that much more; I consider the Coleman High Stand an excellent value.

Let me begin by saying that I purchased this stand for tailgating and not camping. Before I even knew this item existed I was looking to purchase an additional portable table because I had been using one of those portable tables that roll up into a bag to support my Coleman grill. Those tables can easily run $40 to $50 so when I saw this item for about $20 I gave it a shot. The stand works, but the design could have been better. The main problem is that there is no locking mechanism in place to prevent the side legs from "butterfly-ing out to the sides". The premise is that the weight of the item on top will prevent this from happening. To be on the safe side I bought Velcro tape for $5 and placed strips under the handles of the grill and on the stand itself to create my own "locking mechanism". I have only used the stand once, but the velcro trick worked and I was able to use my roll up table for other things.

After reading the reviews about the stove falling through, I bought anyway but I ran out to the local hardware store and bought a sheet of cheapo compressed board for $5. Cut it to match the stand with a little overhang and then I cut it in half, re-taped with duct tape (so now it folds in half). It fits fine in with the stove itself in the Coleman stove leather bag. Used it this last weekend and it worked great, extended to max, shoved a few stakes in the feet and put the board on top and the stove right on that. Was super sturdy and no possible way for the stove would fall.

They should include something similar with this, small slats that fold out or something. I didn't care too much, it literally took me 3 minutes to cut a $5 thin board, stick some tape on it and done.

They also should have a lock in place for the legs at full open, but that's minor.

I just used this for the first time tonight. I heated my grill up for 15 minutes, brushed it really good with a wire brush as usual. Instead of applying peanut oil with a paper towel folded up and squished by tongs, I used this. This spray worked wonderful, I had the flames going, sprayed it on the grates, no flare ups. Put some marinated chicken breasts on, after a few minutes I turned them. Not a one stuck to the grate! I'll be using this product from now on.

Only thing is, it is over priced here on Amazon, at least from this vendor by a bunch. $12.99 for a 6 oz. can? How price gouging is that? Go to this web site and you can get it for $3.50 a can. Sometimes, while cooking the food, if I'm concerned about sticking, I'll just lift whatever I'm grilling and give it a quick spray. No flare-ups and no taste of grill spray on the food. Love it. Wish it were more readily available in local stores.

I like PAM and use it for a lot of things. But I don't like it for grilling! I don't like the flame-ups. The Weber spray doesn't flame up at all! So why use PAM and deal with the flame-ups? I don't know of any PAM feature that makes up for that.
