I got this stand today for my Weber Q 200.
It's not the stoutest thing you could imagine but it is most sufficient for the job required. Anything more would just get heavier.
Also, the engineering design itself is really quite convenient once you study how to best use it. While it came completely assembled it does have a learning curve.
I spent about thirty minutes trying different approaches to raising and lowering the setup until finally it became a very simple task. Those complaining about not being able to raise the stand w/o taking the grill off are wrong and need to practice a bit more until they discover the trick to it. I can set this up or break it down in about 30 seconds.
I did chose to make one change however. I think someone else mentioned doing the same.
It has a long velcro strap for holding the cart in it's folded position. I instead use the strap to tie down the grill lid to the front of the cart. This makes it one integral unit so that I can raise or lower the whole grill without it becoming detached from the cart.
When upright, make certain to "completely" lock in the wire support to the wheel axle. It not only snaps "over" the axle but also snaps on the "underside" as well.
Steps to how I raise and lower the grill while on the cart.
1. Strap the grill handle to the front of the cart with the velcro strap. IMPORTANT!
2. Release the wire shelf at the bottom from the wheel axle.
3. Lift the wire shelf with your right hand while holding the left side of the grill with your left hand.
4. Pick up on the left side of the grill to take the weight off the leftside legs and at the same time pull up on the wire shelf in your right hand. (This folds the left side legs under the grill.)
5. Put your right foot in front of one of the wheels to keep them from rolling and lean the whole setup over the right side legs while at the same time lowering the unit to the ground and off you go!
VERY SIMPLE TO DO! This is all done in one flowing motion actually and it takes about 15 seconds. But DO NOT forget step one, attaching the grill to the cart with the velcro strap.
To raise simply do the reverse. Start by leaning the grill on its left side and pulling out the wire grill (if you tucked it under). Pull the wheels out to the right. Hold the wire grill in your right hand and pick the grills left side up with your left hand. Push the wire down and the left legs over and snap the wire in the axle. EASY!
It works great like this and I am VERY glad I purchased the cart. I can't imagine being without it!
OH! And does this grill ever do a fine job cooking! It is terrific!
I am very pleased with my setup and have no doubt it will be well worth the investment. I'm sure you will be as well.

If you have invested in a Q or Baby Q grill, then there is absolutely NO point of NOT buying this cart. I have tried grilling without it (putting the Q on the floor), it was not fun. Besides, it is great to tow the Q with you if you have to walk to your grilling place. Get it, you won't be sorry that you did.

I purchased the Q grill, and debated buying the stand. I am so happy that I did. I have a small outdoor area, and the stand is the perfect grilling height, the Q fits securely in it, and you can reposition the grill in the yard (sun, wind, etc.). It is not bulky or clumsy.

I have the Weber Baby Q and love the grill. I wanted to add the cart and was please to read that it is for the Q or the Baby Q. WRONG! This cart only works for the Q. It has two little brackets at the back corners that the legs of the Q fit into to hold it in place. Those brackets don't hold the Baby Q legs. They are too wide.
So the Baby Q just sits on top of this thing, doesn't attach like the Q. I called Weber and their Rep actually tried one they had there and she said, "You're right, it doesn't fit." She was going to submit a request to their design dept to look at this as it would be a very minor change to the mold when they make the top part of the stand.
I'm returning mine, but I still love the Baby Q.
UPDATE: Although I cannot change the rating I gave this, I must say that there is a version of this cart that DOES fit the Baby Q. Weber originally had a cart that ONLY fit the Q. That was the one I got, being told it fit both. I now have the updated version of this cart and am very happy with it.

Got this cart for my Q220. It has slots for holding both the 200-series Q grills as well as the 100-series Baby Q's. Note: If you have a Baby Q, make sure you are getting the cart with the slots for it. The earlier carts didn't because the Baby Q didn't exist.
There was no assembly required. Just unfold the cart and put the grill on it.
It is made of good materials. It is sturdy and should last for years. However, it is quite wobbly. I had to hold on to the grill while scrubbing it to stabilize it somewhat. That didn't help though because it was still shaking hard enough to knock the bowl off the foldout tray table. I think stability is only an issue when scrubbing, so make sure you clear the foldout tables before you do it.
The cart turns into a trolley mode, where you can drag the grill around like luggage. The "handle" can bang up against the regulator knob when you're dragging it. It is best to turn the grill around when in this mode so the regulator is on the other side. This is a minor design flaw, in my opinion.
Overall, I'm pleased with the portability of this cart, but I am considering getting the stationary cart for when I'm using the grill at home.
