The gloves did insulate from heat as advertised. I love the fact that I can pick up large items like turkeys and pork shoulders without burning my hands. On the down side, the gloves are hard to get on and off. This is especially a problem when you get grease on them as the surface of the glove gets very slick so you will need to wash them off first or get some assistance.

Glove won't fit properly because it is too generic.

Made for either hand. Could be made for right or

left hand. Difficult to remove from hands.

I'm so glad I got this product. Sure it was as hard to get in to as an already wet wetsuit whilst being beaten like a pinata at a frat party, but once you were in there, dear god. I took the ring to mordor and just put my hand in to get rid of that thing, no epic throw camera shot needed. Definitely would recommend.

"As Seen On TV" on the packaging should have been an effective early warning system, but it was not. My husband reported that his hand got uncomfortably warm (yes, HOT) inside this glove while turning skewers on the grill. This silicone glove just doesn't work as described -not at all! Will return for a refund.

The design seems great. It's got ridges for a non-slip grip. However, it's sized approximately as men's medium, which means that somebody with a large or extra-large hand (such as myself) will find it hard to get on & off, and stiff to use. It's a pity, because otherwise it seems to be a great product.

This stove worked ok. I use a larger (refillable) tank with it, but just wish they had designed a little better connection where the small rigid fuel line connects to the main body of the stove. I don't trust just tightening it to "finger tight", and use a little bit of plier pressure. Being that I usually use this in an inclosed boat, a tight connection is critical. Like I said, an ok unit for what you pay for it.

A coleman grill... it is not!... LOL! But for the buck its quite adequate if you don't beat on your equipment. If you are heating a small container or peculator be careful it doesn't loose balance on the odd shaped grill. A little bit of a pain to clean and I wish the propane canister had a little more support to it then just the gas tube. But you get what you pay for and it does me just fine!

I don't know if everyone of these stoves are like this but flip it over and take a look at the bottom. Look where the small copper tube that supplies propane to the stove connects to the hexagon bolt. The tube on my stove came wrapped completely around that bolt, so the solder connection was facing the back of the stove. With that tight bend on the copper, and with copper being a soft metal it was only a matter of time before it developed a leak (about two years with light use) when I flipped it over the design flaw was obvious. If your stove is this keep shopping.

I had one of these adaptors at home but lost it. I think I left it on a old tank that was discarded. I couldn't find one locally. I was told by all hardware stores (Lowe's, Home Depot, True Value etc) that they could not longer get these adaptors. Amazon had the best price and availability. This one cost a little more than I previously paid but is exactly what I needed to adapt "old" style 20 lb propane tanks to the new style fittings. The old tanks can't be refilled but I have 3 that are still full to get rid of.

If you're in the same situation I was, this will do the job.

This review is for the GrillPro 11051 Universal Fit Propane Tank Adaptor, AISN B0029T5U0A.

First some terminology. There are two types of fittings on LP tanks used in RVs and gas grills, POL (Prest-o-Lite) and Acme (OPD). The old-style POL fittings have left-hand threads and tank valves will allow gas to escape if the valve is opened with nothing attached. POL fittings are almost always attached with a wrench. The newer Acme fittings have larger threads and are attached by hand. Tanks with Acme fittings do not allow gas to escape unless something is attached to the valve. These tanks cannot be over-filled, since there is a float inside to prevent this, hence the alternate designation: OPD (Overfill Prevention Device).

When I read the reviews I was having trouble relating some of the comments to the object pictured. As it turns out, GrillPro ships at least two, and possibly more, different adaptors under this same part number. I ordered three adaptors and received two different kinds. I will post a photo of the two types I received.

The most obvious difference between the two types is that one has a handwheel to attach the adaptor to the female POL fitting and the other requires a wrench (1-1/8"). The handwheel adaptor is made in China and the wrench adaptor is made in Italy. The quality of the Chinese-made adaptor appears to be slightly better than the other, but not enough to matter.

These adaptors have male POL threads on one end and male Acme threads on the other, allowing you to attach an old-style (POL) tank to a new-style (Acme) hose. In keeping with standard practice, both adaptors also have female POL threads inside the Acme end of the fitting, but that feature doesn't matter, since the purpose of the adaptor requires that you are starting with a female POL fitting.

In spite of documentation to the contrary, both fittings are easily removed and can be reused indefinitely.

I am very pleased with the fittings I received and would buy either kind again if I need more. The price is reasonable. If you have an old or large LP tank and you need to use it with the new Acme hose, this adaptor will do the trick very well.

Highly recommended.

It's a solid piece of brass with one rubber O-ring on it.

I had a 100 lb propane tank that I needed to hook up to a burner. I also use the burner on smaller tanks so I didn't want to wrestle with changing the hose all the time. Now I can just screw the big plastic connector to the 100 lb tank.

A very simple part but a bit of a challenge to track down.

It's not super cheap but it's not over priced.

I had next day shipping and it was here at 2pm the next day.

If I get another 100 lb tank I'm ordering one more.

Honest reviews on GrillPro 11051 Universal Fit Propane Tank Adaptor

I purchased this to use with a Weber Genesis B and some old tanks I have, but found that it didn't work.

It certainly works with the old propane tanks I have, but the adaptor is just a little too short (on the side with the large threads) for the Weber's connector to engage it properly and thus allow the propane to flow.

I either need to find another adaptor, or change the regulator of the Weber...

If it was only about 1/8" longer...

The adaptor is a good quality brass item with plastic turn knob on one end and a swivel joint in the middle. Pros no tools. Cons moving parts, and plastic. Item works, and price is acceptable for the quality.

This was a great device. I have only used it once. It set up easy. Cans are enclosed in the middle so there is no chance of them falling over. Drip pan is a nice feature. Used drippings to make gravy. I have used 2 other styles that were not as nice. Clean up was a snap. I was lazy so I just through it into the dishwasher. It all came clean, and storage is fantastic too. All folds up flat, which is a bonus because so many others are bulky.

We have had a single rack for a little over a year; however, the double one is much better! First of all, if we're having company we always cook more than 1 chicken. This rack helps fit two chickens in our grill much easier (they stand closer together then w/o a rack. The rack is high quality, and easy to clean. I am really impressed with this item!

Honest reviews on GrillPro 41442 Double Chicken Roaster

We used to have a single non-stick roaster. It was never non-stick from day one, and after awhile, the coating started to peel. We then used foil to wrap the roaster which turned out to be a big hassle and mess.

Our new Grillpro is just wonderful. Beautiful design (fold-able) and construction (sturdy stainless steel). The drip pan is a MUST and unlike other brands, is big and deep enough for the juice/fat from the chickens. The handles on the drip pan are great!

I've been using the grill daddy for about a year now and I absolutely love this tool! It makes cleaning my grill so much easier than using a standard dry grill brush. The simple yet effective design of having a little water drip out to create steam which cleans the grill is brilliant. My original brush lasted about 9 months, and then it was time to replace due to the bristles wearing flat. The replacement head fits the body of the brush perfectly. Even comes with replacement wingnut and screws which is nice since the original ones have rusted out a bit. I'm being more careful to put a little less pressure on the brush when cleaning my grill so that my bristles last a little longer...basically letting the steam do all the work. This technique is working fine, but when it's time to replace the brush again, I will be ordering this product again.

I recently decided to buy a propane smoker, and comparison-shopped the various models that were readily available and less than $200. I looked at Lowe's, Home Depot, WalMart, Sears, and Char Broil (the company is here in Columbus, Georgia.) After seeing each in person, and reading a lot of online reviews, I bought the MasterBuilt Pro smoker at Home Depot for $179.

I opted against "bullet" style smokers because only one rack is accessible without a lot of trouble. The Weber Smokey Mountains are supposed to be great, but they start at about $300. The Brinkmann Smoke 'N Grill I had for a while was such a piece of crap that I finally gave up trying to "fix" it, and sold it for $15 at a yard sale (and still was cheating the guy at that price.) Horizontal cookers hold a lot of meat, but it's notoriously difficult to control an even temperature in one unless you fabricate a reversing plate; they also take up a lot of space when not being used.

So I started investigating vertical cabinet-style smokers. The Char-Broil CB600X was tempting because I could buy one from the distributor here, already assembled, for only $100 (a savings of about $70.) However, it just seemed so cheaply made that I didn't want to deal with its many reported problems: leaking, bad thermometers, peeling paint, and a combination chip and water dish that everyone seems to hate. Also, every Char-Broil grill I've ever owned has rusted out in only two seasons.

I rejected WalMart's Great Outdoors smoker because it has only one door; tending the chips or water means you'll probably spend 30 minutes or more before the cooking area gets back up to temperature. Their Brinkmann Split-Door Smoker solves that problem, plus it costs a mere $74; many people online like the results they get with a Brinkmann after EXTENSIVE modifications, but I was looking for a smoker, not a hobby (plus it was out of stock.)

That left Lowe's "Master Forge" and the Home Depot "MasterBuilt Pro" (which was also at Sears for a similar price.)

The two are very similar in both appearance and features. Both smokers have a good amount of room for cooking on four 14x14-inch pull-out racks, room enough for several butts or racks of ribs, with all the meat easily accessible at the same time. They each have separate doors for tending the chip pan and water pan, so that you don't have to open the cooking chamber and let the heat and smoke out, and pushbutton electronic igniters for the propane. I don't expect to use anything but propane, but both the MasterBuilt Pro and the Master Forge smokers can also be used with charcoal. (Although some folks swear by charcoal, if you're doing things right, the only thing the charcoal provides is the heat; the flavor should come from the wood chips you use. Still it's nice to have the option. Electric can work well, but isn't convenient for tailgating, and just seems wrong somehow.)

The Lowe's Master Forge was a little less expensive at $169 (as of summer 2012, the very similar $149 propane-only #DGY784CP, although still shown on the Lowe's website, has been discontinued.) It has a shelf that folds down on the left side, but I'm not sure how handy that shelf would end up being, because it's blocked when the door is open. It also has a top-mounted smoke stack with a variable control, as compared to the simple sliding vent on the back of the MasterBuilt Pro; this might prove an advantage in windy or rainy conditions. Then again, without a smoke stack, the entire top of the MasterBuilt is available to set things on, as long as they can stand the heat.

However, unlike the Lowe's smoker, the MasterBuilt has insulated doors, which seem to make it hold the temperature a bit better than what I've read about the Master Forge. On mine, the temperature stays within about 10 degrees of the 220 I set it at unless I forget and let the water pan dry out (higher temps are definitely possible; I got it to about 450 while seasoning it.) The door latches are smaller and pull the door in a little tighter on the Masterbuilt, and are less likely to get bumped as you walk by, unlike the protruding handles on the Master Forge. Finally, the MasterBuilt has wheels on the two back legs, which would come in handy if you need to move it before it's cooled off. Neither smoker is really heavy (50 pounds, maybe) and the Master Forge has insulated handles, but I wouldn't want to try carrying it around while it's still hot.

Many smokers in this price range leak so badly that you have to install some type of gasket around the doors to prevent loss of heat and smoke. I had planned to go ahead and buy an oven gasket when I bought the smoker, but I forgot to do so. As it turns out, it leaks so little that a gasket won't be necessary. I also won't have to replace the stock thermometer, which (at least on mine) turned out to be only about 10 degrees off, much better than many I've read about. (I calibrated it by testing it in some boiling water before I installed it in the door. That 10-degree fault may not be consistent for every temperature, but 212 degrees is close enough to the temperature I'll use for smoking that this thermometer will do just fine.)

Assembly of the MasterBuilt was very straightforward, with clear and concise English instructions (Spanish was in a separate manual) and neatly packaged parts and hardware. It took me about an hour to put it together, and it probably would have been less had I not been watching TV at the same time. I left off an arm that bolts onto the left side to stabilize your propane bottle; it seemed unnecessary to me, and the arm would certainly get in the way when I store the cooker in the garage.

Overall, after using it several times, I am very pleased with my MasterBuilt Pro. It cost about $10 more than the Lowe's "Master Forge," but I didn't have to spend $20-$30 on a gasket and new thermometer as I had expected (plus Home Depot even honored the 10% off coupon I had for Lowe's!) Furthermore, I haven't had to make any tedious other modifications to get it to work. It holds the temperature quite well while using fuel sparingly, about 24 hours on a tank. On longer cooks, I'll probably replace the stock water pan (which is a little too small) with a $1 aluminum pan just for the extra volume. But the only other change I plan is to add a beer opener to the side, and with that in place I expect to get many years of enjoyment out of this smoker.

********

UPDATE:

A couple of times this spring I decided to try firing the unit with charcoal rather than propane (despite my earlier comment about flavor coming from the wood chunks and charcoal providing only heat, there really DOES seem to be a little "something" missing in the propane-fired meat's flavor.) Lighting it was really easy: I just piled the pan full of lump charcoal and hickory chunks, and lit the propane underneath for a few minutes. I used more charcoal than I expected (almost a whole bag over eight hours) but that may have been because of the small size of many of the pieces in what I was using. I also had to replace the water more often, but I guess that's to be expected since the heat is a couple inches closer. I does seem to be a little harder to keep the temperature at 250 using only charcoal; it wanted to hover around 200-220 degrees, and was very slow to recover after any time I opened the door. Kicking the propane back on for a few minutes seemed to help though, and in the future I may try running the propane continuously at a very low setting in addition to the charcoal. Overall, my results were still good though, and using the smoker with charcoal involved only a little more attention than propane only.

I bought this last week after having continues frustrations with my barrel smoker. This seemed to be able to help with e biggest problem I was encountering with e barrel smoker, regulating and maintaining a low heat. I like to go low and slow!! This is a great smoker, takes about 30 minutes to build with very easy to follow directions. Connect the propane bottle and place some chips in the dish. I turned onto a medium heat to get it going and then down to a low heat to maintain. I managed to keep it around 180 degrees. I poured apple juice in the liquid tray. I smoked a chicken and a rack of ribs. Both turned out better than I have EVER smoked before. A few things you have to keep your eyes on. You have to maintain your wood chips for smoking every 30 minutes or so, and keep your liquid tray full as I let it boil dry and now have encrusted crystallized apple juice on the bottom. It is a seriously good smoker I reccomend it. Ohhh before I forget, I've seen some comments on smokers saying that they got a metallic taste on their food, YOU HAVE TO read the instructions and CURE your machine with olive oil. It burns off e new paint smell and you get no aftertaste, it's easy to do and only takes an hour.

Best Deals for Masterbuilt 20051311 GS30D 2-Door Propane Smoker

I can't address the 1 star review but I can address my experience with this smoker. This is my first true smoker but I have owned Kamodo barbeque smokers/grills. This smoker has performed very, very well and lived up to my expectations. First of all, we're talking about a $200 smoker built for residential use. In that forum, I've been very impressed and everything we've smoked came out great. I did have one issue with the temperature gauge not reading over 300 degrees. I wrote an email to customer service and it was replaced without question and came within 5 days of my original email.

Things to remember, do break-in the smoker per the instructions which will make it easier to clean the grills later on. The four grills are easy to move for larger cuts of meat and clean easily. The wood chip tray is easy to use and clean provided you don't go overboard with the number of chips you use...remember it's designed for 2 cups & make sure you soak the chips prior to use. I typically soak them overnight which seems to make them last longer. While the water tray is somewhat small, having the lower door access makes it easy to add water. If you forget and let the tray run dry, be careful not to cause a flare-up fire by adding water to the hot tray!

The gas valve to control temperature is very sensitive and requires some adjustment to set the correct temperature. Once you get the feel of it, it's not a problem.

I never open the upper smoke vent as keeping it closed keeps the smoke in! Don't forget to add chips during the initial 2 hours to get the best smoke flavor. I was very happy with the propane use as the smoker does not use a whole bottle each time you smoke. My first bottle lasted through 6, six hour smokes and I can live with that rate of use.

I would recommend this smoker to anyone who wishes to have a great smoker that doesn't take up much space, works great, and isn't overpriced!

Great smoking!

Jim

Honest reviews on Masterbuilt 20051311 GS30D 2-Door Propane Smoker

this is my first gas smoker purchase and I read many reviews on different brands and models. Decided I did want a 2 door smoker over a one door. I ended up purchasing the masterbuilt 2 door smoker. recieved it quick thru Amazon, assembly was great, very quick with 0 problems. seasoned the smoker with oil. no problem. seems like a very tight unit. insulated doors. little smoke leak from door edges but very minimal. This unit had 0 hooks on the ceiling for hanging sausages and I fixed that by fuying 9 stainless steel hooks threaded on one end with a nut. drilled very tight holes in the top of smoker and spaced these 9 hooks out so that a 3 inch sausage can be hung without touching each other. solved that. Will add a 8 or 10 inch cast iron skillet for the wood chips cause the furnished one makes it very easy for the chips to catch fire. No trouble in getting the heat up to over 400 degrees for seasoning like some reviews mentioned. I will want to be able to have a low temp of 100 degrees for drying out sauasages before smoking. Don't think this will be a problem cause can always crack a door to help lower temps. Without a doubt I believe I made the best purchase for what I will use it for. smoking summer sausage (venison). very very happy with this purchase

Speedy Delivery...I spent several months looking into smokers before I purchased this one, and I was extremely nervous because I had a big graduation party on Saturday and I didn't make up my mind on this one until Wednesday. I ordered from Amazon. Because I am a Prime member, I had free two day shipping, but I couldn't wait and was afraid that I wouldn't have enough time to cure it, so I elected to pay the $3.50 for one day shipping.

Easy Setup...Two men delivered my smoker Thursday evening, and I stayed up late putting it together. The instructions were straight forward and easy to follow...if you have common sense and follow instructions (I added about 20 minutes to the process by tightening things when the directions explicitly said not too).

Great Piece of Equipment...This smoker feels nice and heavy and all of the pieces seem to be made for repeated use. I got it cured in a couple of hours and was ready to smoke with nothing than forums and a prayer. I noticed that many commented on using a cast iron skillet rather than the chip tray...don't bother. The wood tray provided allows for air to get to the wood; whereas, the cast iron would not get hot enough. With that being said, I did not see the need to make any modifications. I bought a fancy thermometer, but the one that came with the smoker was only off by like 10 degrees. All in all, I have no complaints with the smoker.

Great Products...On the inaugural run, I smoked 4 racks of ribs and 25 chicken breasts (not at the same time...two different smokes, but back to back). The ribs were marinated for a few days and so was the chicken. Both were smoked with wood chips (hickory and mesquite) and charcoal (started in a bag then added to pan). Ribs were cooked with the 3-2-1 method at about 230 degrees. Chicken was cooked with the Hail Mary method...I made it up as I went. Controlling the temperature was easy after I realized that adding cold food to a roaring smoker makes it get really cold and it takes awhile for it to get back up to temperature (common sense...right). Either way, everything had a great smoke taste to it and not to brag, but it was the best ribs I have had in Lynchburg, VA. The chicken was a little dry for my tastes but still more tender than most that I have got at bbq restaurants. I am sure that my Hail Mary approach is to blame.

I learned a lot from this first smoke and internet forums, but all credit for such a wonderful meal, which was applauded by all, goes not to the cook but this wonderful Masterbuilt 2-Door Propane Smoker.

I actually purchased this grill off of GroupOn for 150 + Shipping, but I figured I'd spread my wings and write about it on here for any prospective grill buyers.

As a former alum of a major university and a fan of several nearby professional sports teams, I wanted to find something that would be far more easy and practical compared to charcoal grills, and wasn't afraid to spend a little bit of money in doing so. I saw this and was immediately taken back by its unique design and the fact that it had a deep fryer in the center. So after looking around for reviews (including on Amazon), I decided to pull the trigger.

Upon receipt, it was very well packaged, and surprisingly larger than I had anticipated! It comes basically assembled except for a few things such as a drip pan and container which attaches when you are ready to dispose of unwanted fat and similar fluids. It also has a steaming cover, thermometor for the fryer, and a cutting board, nice bonuses! But boy was it heavy! Not in a bad way, as it is sturdily built, just be prepared when it is zipped up to expect an uncomfortable trip to and from the car. On a similar note with the case, the strap is noticeably thin, so I worried that it would snap. Fortunately it withstood about a 200 yard walk to and from the campground. Just in case, hold onto the hand strap while carrying it and to relieve some pressure off of your shoulder.

I decided to break it out for a dry run in preparation for my school's homecoming next week, and I thought the perfect setting/victims would be my softball team. Upon busting it out, it took a little bit of reading to get everything set up, but I think it was moreso our lack of understanding with what was required. MAKE SURE to get a AA battery for the ignitor. We had forgotten one, but were able to instead light it with a lighter that somebody had, but I'm guessing it works marvelously.

The grill heated up instantaneously, and consists I believe of 3 different lighting locations in the grill, griddle, and deep fryer. The grill is about 2-3 inches below the grill cover, so we made sure to turn it all the way down to reduce burning. I threw 3 quarter pound burgers (the most you can get on the grill at a time), about 10 hot dogs on the griddle, and used the warming plate for buns. Then I filled up the deep fryer with some health-conscious Virgin Olive Oil and threw in a healthy portion of fries. One thing I found great was that since you can control the three main cooking areas separately, I could control the speed at which they were cooked more easily.

After about 10-15 minutes, everything was good and cooked, and served to my teammates. They all commented on how attractive the design was of the grill, and how many different functioning parts there were. Then the taste test. Delicious! No propane residue and the porcelain seared the burgers nicely, albeit a little thicker than usual. Completely even cooking, however, and easy to get the burgers off. Immediately I threw on some more burgers, and even used the griddle as a second "grill" to get 3 turkey burgers up, and had some additional room for more hot dogs. More importantly, the fries came out amazingly.

At this point we discovered something. DO NOT put the steaming cover on the grill portion. There doesn't seem to be enough aeration to keep the propane lit if the cover is on for more than a few minutes, and we thought we had run out of propane fluid. A quick unscrew and rescrew showed that it was in fact still good, and we relit and went on our merry way, feeding a few more teams while we were at it!

Upon completion, we noticed that we had been feeding a constant fire to all of the heating surfaces for an hour, and still had a quarter or half left of the propane tank! Very cost effective if you ask me, especially for what you get. Cleanup was typical, although we had a softball game to play, I forgot to remove the grease and it had pooled in the bottom of the grill. Not fun... Then I packed it up and put it back in the car.

This grill is pretty much one of the best combination grills I have ever seen and used for the price point, as long as you are aware that it has its limitations with how much food you can put on at a time. With a little creativity and planning, though, you can keep your guests entertained with a first course of food such as hot dogs while the other burgers come out. I am SUPER pleased I bought this grill, and hope you would too :)

We committed to tailgating at all the home games this year, GO RAVENS! We are new to the party but wanted to do it right so we started searching for tailgating ideas online and came across the Blacktop 360. We passed on it for several reasons and honestly their marketing/ads are their own worst enemy. One of our biggest concerns was size and practicality. While at the same time we wanted something fun and different. AND THEN I came across one at our BJ's Wholesale Warehouse. Once we were able to get one in hand and check it out we decided to buy it, we could always take it back... We ended up going back and buying a second one!!

Talk about a huge hit and major conversation piece!! We grilled polish sausages, hot dogs, and burgers. And while it's true the grilling surface isn't huge (ie.. you're cooking 6-7 dogs/sausages and 3-4 burgers and no more at a time) it was hot, fast, and efficient. We used the warmer to keep it all ready to serve. We used the deep fryer to cook seafood egg rolls, 3 lbs of bacon, and 2 lbs of bologna, and the griddle to toast the buns. It was FANTASTIC! We fed about 50 people, used less than one small can of propane, and was once never disappointed in the 360. Cannot wait to go back and do it again!

The design is efficient, have to give credit where it credit is due. They truly thought of everything. Set-up & clean-up were quick and easy. The system for draining the oil was all good. The legs are designed in such a way that the unit is extremely stable and it honestly couldn't be any easier. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this thing! So very happy with my purchase! The second one? It's not because we needed more space or one wasn't enough... it is a gift for the gentleman who made tailgating possible for us this year. (If you are familiar with M&T Bank Stadium you know parking is golden!) He too fell in love with the unit and will be receiving one as a thank you gift.

We purchased this in lieu of a table top or road trip grill as a take along for our frequent summer RV trips. I didn't expect it to have a huge grilling surface but sacrificed that for the griddle, fryer and warmer. We have already unpacked it to get it ready for this Summer camping season and did cook burgers and dogs on it one night recently on the deck. Obviously it wasnt able to grill 6 pattys and 8 dogs at the same time but we made do. For the portability, convenience and resourcefulness, this will work out just fine. We used it with one of the 16.4 propane cylinders but I plan on buying the adapter to use with the larger tank for the summer trips.

I would recommend this to folks whos are looking to add to an existing outdoor cooking experience. If you are looking to get creative and will utilize the griddle, grill, warmer and deep fryer at the same time, you can really impress a group with this thing but if you are looking to grill steaks, chops, burgers, brauts for more than 4 or 5 people at one time. I'd stick to a dedicated grill or add this to one you are already using.

Pros:

-Convenient

-Portability

-Versatility

-Attractive

-Ruggedness

-Complete

Cons:

-Smallish actual grilling Surface (Don't expect to cook for 4 or more people in one shot if doing burgers or steaks, dogs, etc.)

-Somewhat heavy (IT packs away nicley in it's bag but it's not light for a child or small adult to load)

-Promotes bad eating habits but soooo good (ie: deep fryer)

Draws a crowd because that is what it takes to try to clean it, no matter how much grill prep I do everything I have cooked has stuck to grill, the much ado about nothing super burner looks like it will quickly become so encrusted with food that it will become unusable, save your time and buy a reguler grill, that you do not have to soak in the bathtub to try to clean. Would have returned but knew it would never go back in the box it came out of.

This thing can grill hamburgers, hot dogs, fry the bacon, grill the onions, toast the buns, cut tomatoes, lettuce, and make french fries all at the same time, DAMN! A little bigger and heavier than thought, not a bad thing, very well made, fits in a provided nylon bag, totally portable, a little hard to clean (bigger than most sinks) using hose (Weber 6501 not provided), bulk LP tank saves $$$ last all summer. It makes Blacktop 360 an outdoor orgasmic experience. Where's the BEEF!

"universal" hah NO.... The spit is to short so the plastic handel is in the grill (melting) and the bolt holes don't line up. The moter turns off when ever it like (burning the food on one side) and I have only used it 2 times. :(

Have had this for For some time now it does a great job with whole chickens and prime ribs. Motor mount is a bit weak I have had placed a block of wood under the motor to keep the rod from falling out.

I used it for about 2 weeks and put it up for about a month. The next time I used it "which was about 10 days after I could have returned it" it broke. I could have received a partial refund, but considering shipping etc.., it would not have been financially viable.

It's a piece of wood for a handmade turntable. It worked fine once I got the motor secured so I could get a nice even spin without jerking motion. I bet a more costly one would work better, but this does work and it was one of the cheaper ones. It will last forever I'm certain.

I actually ordered these sticks to use in candlemaking, to tie the wicks to when waxing them (homemade wicks). They were outstanding for that, I would not, however, recommend these for food, as they are extremely short for that.

I bought these skewers to use with a chocolate fondue fountain. The skewers were a good quality. I was surprised how few skewers I actually go through with fondue so I now have a big supply for future events. I like this 6" size better for fondue that the longer skewers.

These sticks are long enough to be used for multiple applications. I use them to dress my turkeys and chickens. You only need a couple of them to do the job. The pointed end is very sharp and they don't break as easily as toothpicks. Great value!

We served skewered meats for a party; these 6-inch skewers are the perfect length for finger food. We put the meat at one end creating a handle, and the left-over skewers weren't too long so fit on the paper plates nicely.

The only trouble we had was the bamboo scorching, despite soaking, which is always a problem with wooden skewers.

Great product, but I still do not understand how these are advertised $2.87 + free shipping, when the shipping cost me $22.00. This product only weighs a few oz. I will use the skewers as they are perfect, but I do wish someone would explain the false advertising to me.

These Char Griller covers are poorly made. No matter how careful you are with them, they will fall apart in no time at all. You're better off throwing an old shower curtain over your grill.

After about 7 to 8 months of wind and rain the grill cover starts to shred like string/paper. I bought 2 of them thinking that the first 1 was somehow defected so I tried it once more same results ruined my grill. Save your money.

Although it fits our grill like a glove it didn't last one summer in the Texas sun. It bleached and dry rotted and now has several tears in it. Very disapointed. Cannot recommend this.

Honest reviews on Char-Griller 6060 Custom Grill Cover for Char-Griller Patio Pro

This cover was just like the one that I am replaceing. The cover previous lasted about three years, faded and then tore. My hope was that I was purchasing a better quality cover. The cover that I have on my larger Char-Griller was of much better quality. I have had this grill for over five years and the cover is still perfect. This cover is adequite for the job, but expect to replace it in a very few years.

Looks terrific, Will update if it doesn't hold up well but seems well made. The material appears to be water resistant instead of water proof so a good downpour could saturate it. Think I will spray on waterproofing used for outdoor gear like tents to help it out.

**UPDATE** 12/11/12 ** about 6 months ownership **

like others mentioned, it fades quite a bit but I didn't get to the point of it shredding since it was stolen. I did treat with water repellant spray and had no issues with leaks. It does not come off in the wind. In my original location, really strong winds caused the grill to tip over instead. Since it faded, I'm assuming the material is not UV resistant and could degrade. Maybe the next time I treat it, I will find something with UV as well as water protection. Even with the fading and treating, I still bought a replacement cover.

**Another update**

Definitely use a UV resistant, silicon, water repellant spray to make it last. I lost two from high winds or facetious neighbors. I put a grommet near the bottom on the front and back. A couple of cheap carabiners secures the cover to the grill.
