I ordered this to protect our Weber Q 120 and rolling cart (part #6549). It looked huge when I unfolded it--enough so that I double-checked the package to make sure it was the right thing. Sure enough, it was, and when I put it on the grill, it fit fine. I like the Velcro straps on either side of the bottom; this made it much easier to secure against potential wind gusts and give it a little tighter protection against moisture. It could be just a bit longer--like an inch or two--to keep the whole bottom of the cart from being exposed, but it's probably designed that way so as not to entangle the wheels, should one desire to roll it around with the cover still on. All in all, I'm happy. I scored mine on a warehouse deal and it's still in perfect shape (the box hadn't even been opened, or if it had, someone took the trouble of glueing it back shut), and that knocked a dollar or so off the price. Those warehouse deals can be good buys.

It is absolutely sturdy and covers the grill so well from external elements such as water or dust. I am pleased with it.

I received the cover today from Amazon and immediately put it on my new barbeque. Looks great, fits really well, i.e. not tightly but I don't have to worry about it blowing away either thanks to the velcro tightening straps on each side of the cover. I hope it helps my new Weber Q220 last many years.

Honest reviews on Weber 6554 Q Premium Cover

This fits my Weber Q-120 like a glove. Keeps everything clean and dry since I decided to just keep the bbq out on the deck. The straps on the side keep it snug enough to the cart that it shouldn't blow away during a typical mild storm.

There's no handle its just simply a metal gill with the log of the team. You put on the grill and when it heats up you place the meat on top and it burns on the logo not easy to use. =/

Heated this puppy up to 700 deg still barely left a mark around the outside circle on the burgers. Very disappointed.

I recently decided to buy a propane smoker, and comparison-shopped the various models that were readily available and less than $200. I looked at Lowe's, Home Depot, WalMart, Sears, and Char Broil (the company is here in Columbus, Georgia.) After seeing each in person, and reading a lot of online reviews, I bought the MasterBuilt Pro smoker at Home Depot for $179.

I opted against "bullet" style smokers because only one rack is accessible without a lot of trouble. The Weber Smokey Mountains are supposed to be great, but they start at about $300. The Brinkmann Smoke 'N Grill I had for a while was such a piece of crap that I finally gave up trying to "fix" it, and sold it for $15 at a yard sale (and still was cheating the guy at that price.) Horizontal cookers hold a lot of meat, but it's notoriously difficult to control an even temperature in one unless you fabricate a reversing plate; they also take up a lot of space when not being used.

So I started investigating vertical cabinet-style smokers. The Char-Broil CB600X was tempting because I could buy one from the distributor here, already assembled, for only $100 (a savings of about $70.) However, it just seemed so cheaply made that I didn't want to deal with its many reported problems: leaking, bad thermometers, peeling paint, and a combination chip and water dish that everyone seems to hate. Also, every Char-Broil grill I've ever owned has rusted out in only two seasons.

I rejected WalMart's Great Outdoors smoker because it has only one door; tending the chips or water means you'll probably spend 30 minutes or more before the cooking area gets back up to temperature. Their Brinkmann Split-Door Smoker solves that problem, plus it costs a mere $74; many people online like the results they get with a Brinkmann after EXTENSIVE modifications, but I was looking for a smoker, not a hobby (plus it was out of stock.)

That left Lowe's "Master Forge" and the Home Depot "MasterBuilt Pro" (which was also at Sears for a similar price.)

The two are very similar in both appearance and features. Both smokers have a good amount of room for cooking on four 14x14-inch pull-out racks, room enough for several butts or racks of ribs, with all the meat easily accessible at the same time. They each have separate doors for tending the chip pan and water pan, so that you don't have to open the cooking chamber and let the heat and smoke out, and pushbutton electronic igniters for the propane. I don't expect to use anything but propane, but both the MasterBuilt Pro and the Master Forge smokers can also be used with charcoal. (Although some folks swear by charcoal, if you're doing things right, the only thing the charcoal provides is the heat; the flavor should come from the wood chips you use. Still it's nice to have the option. Electric can work well, but isn't convenient for tailgating, and just seems wrong somehow.)

The Lowe's Master Forge was a little less expensive at $169 (as of summer 2012, the very similar $149 propane-only #DGY784CP, although still shown on the Lowe's website, has been discontinued.) It has a shelf that folds down on the left side, but I'm not sure how handy that shelf would end up being, because it's blocked when the door is open. It also has a top-mounted smoke stack with a variable control, as compared to the simple sliding vent on the back of the MasterBuilt Pro; this might prove an advantage in windy or rainy conditions. Then again, without a smoke stack, the entire top of the MasterBuilt is available to set things on, as long as they can stand the heat.

However, unlike the Lowe's smoker, the MasterBuilt has insulated doors, which seem to make it hold the temperature a bit better than what I've read about the Master Forge. On mine, the temperature stays within about 10 degrees of the 220 I set it at unless I forget and let the water pan dry out (higher temps are definitely possible; I got it to about 450 while seasoning it.) The door latches are smaller and pull the door in a little tighter on the Masterbuilt, and are less likely to get bumped as you walk by, unlike the protruding handles on the Master Forge. Finally, the MasterBuilt has wheels on the two back legs, which would come in handy if you need to move it before it's cooled off. Neither smoker is really heavy (50 pounds, maybe) and the Master Forge has insulated handles, but I wouldn't want to try carrying it around while it's still hot.

Many smokers in this price range leak so badly that you have to install some type of gasket around the doors to prevent loss of heat and smoke. I had planned to go ahead and buy an oven gasket when I bought the smoker, but I forgot to do so. As it turns out, it leaks so little that a gasket won't be necessary. I also won't have to replace the stock thermometer, which (at least on mine) turned out to be only about 10 degrees off, much better than many I've read about. (I calibrated it by testing it in some boiling water before I installed it in the door. That 10-degree fault may not be consistent for every temperature, but 212 degrees is close enough to the temperature I'll use for smoking that this thermometer will do just fine.)

Assembly of the MasterBuilt was very straightforward, with clear and concise English instructions (Spanish was in a separate manual) and neatly packaged parts and hardware. It took me about an hour to put it together, and it probably would have been less had I not been watching TV at the same time. I left off an arm that bolts onto the left side to stabilize your propane bottle; it seemed unnecessary to me, and the arm would certainly get in the way when I store the cooker in the garage.

Overall, after using it several times, I am very pleased with my MasterBuilt Pro. It cost about $10 more than the Lowe's "Master Forge," but I didn't have to spend $20-$30 on a gasket and new thermometer as I had expected (plus Home Depot even honored the 10% off coupon I had for Lowe's!) Furthermore, I haven't had to make any tedious other modifications to get it to work. It holds the temperature quite well while using fuel sparingly, about 24 hours on a tank. On longer cooks, I'll probably replace the stock water pan (which is a little too small) with a $1 aluminum pan just for the extra volume. But the only other change I plan is to add a beer opener to the side, and with that in place I expect to get many years of enjoyment out of this smoker.

********

UPDATE:

A couple of times this spring I decided to try firing the unit with charcoal rather than propane (despite my earlier comment about flavor coming from the wood chunks and charcoal providing only heat, there really DOES seem to be a little "something" missing in the propane-fired meat's flavor.) Lighting it was really easy: I just piled the pan full of lump charcoal and hickory chunks, and lit the propane underneath for a few minutes. I used more charcoal than I expected (almost a whole bag over eight hours) but that may have been because of the small size of many of the pieces in what I was using. I also had to replace the water more often, but I guess that's to be expected since the heat is a couple inches closer. I does seem to be a little harder to keep the temperature at 250 using only charcoal; it wanted to hover around 200-220 degrees, and was very slow to recover after any time I opened the door. Kicking the propane back on for a few minutes seemed to help though, and in the future I may try running the propane continuously at a very low setting in addition to the charcoal. Overall, my results were still good though, and using the smoker with charcoal involved only a little more attention than propane only.

I bought this last week after having continues frustrations with my barrel smoker. This seemed to be able to help with e biggest problem I was encountering with e barrel smoker, regulating and maintaining a low heat. I like to go low and slow!! This is a great smoker, takes about 30 minutes to build with very easy to follow directions. Connect the propane bottle and place some chips in the dish. I turned onto a medium heat to get it going and then down to a low heat to maintain. I managed to keep it around 180 degrees. I poured apple juice in the liquid tray. I smoked a chicken and a rack of ribs. Both turned out better than I have EVER smoked before. A few things you have to keep your eyes on. You have to maintain your wood chips for smoking every 30 minutes or so, and keep your liquid tray full as I let it boil dry and now have encrusted crystallized apple juice on the bottom. It is a seriously good smoker I reccomend it. Ohhh before I forget, I've seen some comments on smokers saying that they got a metallic taste on their food, YOU HAVE TO read the instructions and CURE your machine with olive oil. It burns off e new paint smell and you get no aftertaste, it's easy to do and only takes an hour.

I can't address the 1 star review but I can address my experience with this smoker. This is my first true smoker but I have owned Kamodo barbeque smokers/grills. This smoker has performed very, very well and lived up to my expectations. First of all, we're talking about a $200 smoker built for residential use. In that forum, I've been very impressed and everything we've smoked came out great. I did have one issue with the temperature gauge not reading over 300 degrees. I wrote an email to customer service and it was replaced without question and came within 5 days of my original email.

Things to remember, do break-in the smoker per the instructions which will make it easier to clean the grills later on. The four grills are easy to move for larger cuts of meat and clean easily. The wood chip tray is easy to use and clean provided you don't go overboard with the number of chips you use...remember it's designed for 2 cups & make sure you soak the chips prior to use. I typically soak them overnight which seems to make them last longer. While the water tray is somewhat small, having the lower door access makes it easy to add water. If you forget and let the tray run dry, be careful not to cause a flare-up fire by adding water to the hot tray!

The gas valve to control temperature is very sensitive and requires some adjustment to set the correct temperature. Once you get the feel of it, it's not a problem.

I never open the upper smoke vent as keeping it closed keeps the smoke in! Don't forget to add chips during the initial 2 hours to get the best smoke flavor. I was very happy with the propane use as the smoker does not use a whole bottle each time you smoke. My first bottle lasted through 6, six hour smokes and I can live with that rate of use.

I would recommend this smoker to anyone who wishes to have a great smoker that doesn't take up much space, works great, and isn't overpriced!

Great smoking!

Jim

Honest reviews on Masterbuilt 20051311 GS30D 2-Door Propane Smoker

this is my first gas smoker purchase and I read many reviews on different brands and models. Decided I did want a 2 door smoker over a one door. I ended up purchasing the masterbuilt 2 door smoker. recieved it quick thru Amazon, assembly was great, very quick with 0 problems. seasoned the smoker with oil. no problem. seems like a very tight unit. insulated doors. little smoke leak from door edges but very minimal. This unit had 0 hooks on the ceiling for hanging sausages and I fixed that by fuying 9 stainless steel hooks threaded on one end with a nut. drilled very tight holes in the top of smoker and spaced these 9 hooks out so that a 3 inch sausage can be hung without touching each other. solved that. Will add a 8 or 10 inch cast iron skillet for the wood chips cause the furnished one makes it very easy for the chips to catch fire. No trouble in getting the heat up to over 400 degrees for seasoning like some reviews mentioned. I will want to be able to have a low temp of 100 degrees for drying out sauasages before smoking. Don't think this will be a problem cause can always crack a door to help lower temps. Without a doubt I believe I made the best purchase for what I will use it for. smoking summer sausage (venison). very very happy with this purchase

Speedy Delivery...I spent several months looking into smokers before I purchased this one, and I was extremely nervous because I had a big graduation party on Saturday and I didn't make up my mind on this one until Wednesday. I ordered from Amazon. Because I am a Prime member, I had free two day shipping, but I couldn't wait and was afraid that I wouldn't have enough time to cure it, so I elected to pay the $3.50 for one day shipping.

Easy Setup...Two men delivered my smoker Thursday evening, and I stayed up late putting it together. The instructions were straight forward and easy to follow...if you have common sense and follow instructions (I added about 20 minutes to the process by tightening things when the directions explicitly said not too).

Great Piece of Equipment...This smoker feels nice and heavy and all of the pieces seem to be made for repeated use. I got it cured in a couple of hours and was ready to smoke with nothing than forums and a prayer. I noticed that many commented on using a cast iron skillet rather than the chip tray...don't bother. The wood tray provided allows for air to get to the wood; whereas, the cast iron would not get hot enough. With that being said, I did not see the need to make any modifications. I bought a fancy thermometer, but the one that came with the smoker was only off by like 10 degrees. All in all, I have no complaints with the smoker.

Great Products...On the inaugural run, I smoked 4 racks of ribs and 25 chicken breasts (not at the same time...two different smokes, but back to back). The ribs were marinated for a few days and so was the chicken. Both were smoked with wood chips (hickory and mesquite) and charcoal (started in a bag then added to pan). Ribs were cooked with the 3-2-1 method at about 230 degrees. Chicken was cooked with the Hail Mary method...I made it up as I went. Controlling the temperature was easy after I realized that adding cold food to a roaring smoker makes it get really cold and it takes awhile for it to get back up to temperature (common sense...right). Either way, everything had a great smoke taste to it and not to brag, but it was the best ribs I have had in Lynchburg, VA. The chicken was a little dry for my tastes but still more tender than most that I have got at bbq restaurants. I am sure that my Hail Mary approach is to blame.

I learned a lot from this first smoke and internet forums, but all credit for such a wonderful meal, which was applauded by all, goes not to the cook but this wonderful Masterbuilt 2-Door Propane Smoker.

I use these skewers when I marinate meat and veggies. I just thread everything right on, wind it in a circle, and put it in a bowl to marinate. The food doesn't stick to them, and they don't roll around nearly as much on the grill. I love that I can wind them into a coil to store them in a drawer where they won't poke you when you least suspect it. The tips are not especially sharp, which I like, but the nose still easily pushes through the food.

King Kooker CS29 30-Inch Two-Burner Outdoor Cook Stove

After a "whole-lota" research, I kept coming back to this one. I did not purchase this unit for camping, my main purpose was for high heat capability, for "Chinese wok" cooking. Mission accomplished! This thing really produces the necessary BTU's needed for any recipe that even a commercial kitchen has to produce & does it in a controlled, simple & direct manner. I've also found the unit to be built like a tank & very easy to control,(temperature wise)... I will admit that price was a contributing factor... but not before the fact that it has the power capacity of 54,000 BTU's per burner...(as the product description states)... I've had it for almost two months at the time of this review, and have done a dozen or more cooks on it, some of which I utilized my cast iron equipment (Griddle, Dutch Oven, Skillets,...ETC.) I am a self-proclaimed armature Chef, and that comes with some very messy cooking sessions & I can tell you that my wife is very happy to see more of my cooking being done on my dedicated BBQ deck, (smokers, charcoal grill, gasser, & now this stove.) out back in the corner of the yard, instead of in the kitchen... Assembly and hook up was a breeze. It is also portable enough to move to the garage in inclement weather. The unit seems to be very fuel efficient, I have a fuel gauge on my standard 20lb propane tank and it is still reading in the green zone, after (I'm guessing),5 to 6 hrs. of cooking time (possibly still close to 2/3's full) ...only to give an idea of fuel consumption. I am always concerned with buyer's remorse after an on line purchase, But None here.

Well cannot forget my electric stove altogether, especially when raining. However, this unit puts out some BTU's. I placed a very large pot of potatoes and was boiling in 15 minutes. I had to place on lowest setting before going out and it was still near boiling. I got this for cooking next to my grill and for Wok cooking. I wish it sat about 4 inches higher but even with a high pot you can still see inside. I would purchase again.

Overall, its a great cooker. Just wish it was a little taller. Its a little on the flimsy side. While trying to tighten the gas line, both valves broke off of the line.

Kay Home Products 717HHDI 18'' Folding Charcoal Grill Reviews

Kay Home Products 717HHDI 18'' Folding Charcoal Grill
Customer Ratings: 3 stars
Buy Now
First, let me just acknowledge that this grill will hold your burning charcoal, cook your food, and fold up as promised. For the price, you cannot ask much else.

However, to describe this grill as "heavy duty" would be a gross exaggeration. It's heavier than a disposable foil grill, but it's not heavy duty. The stamped steel will dent if you drop it.

The legs are hinged together on little pins that have a tiny head on each end that can easily break off with a little wear. If you're handy, you might consider replacing or reinforcing these pivots before they break at an inopportune moment.

For some reason, the charcoal pan is painted black. When it's new, the paint looks better than bare metal and you figure it will protect against rusting the only problem is, it burns off rather quickly. You're putting the coal directly into this pan there's no grate or anything. Instead of lighter fluid, I use a "chimney" which concentrates the heat in order to get the coals going. The heat from this "chimney" causes the paint to bubble (and smell awful) and burn away. Nice. So the middle of it is bare metal after just two uses. I don't know if this happens if you just use lighter fluid instead of a chimney.

The supports that hold the grill away from the coals have very sharp edges. They're not rolled over or filed down or anything. If you store your folded-up grill with those supports facing out in a cramped space where people are walking by, those supports will snag clothing and even flesh I got couple of nice gouges in my knee before I realized the danger and relocated the grill to a spot that was less dangerous (and less convenient).

If I had paid a lot for this grill, I would give it one star for being so flimsy and sharp. But this has got to be the absolute best portable foldaway grill you can possibly hope for in this price range without making one yourself, so I do recommend it as long as your expectations are realistic.

I ordered the big daddy hoping to get some serious smoking done and boy did I. I really liked the way it came packed everything was perfect, no major dents or scratches. I am able to put about 7 racks of baby backs in the main chamber and 9 in the chimney. I have used this about 7 times now and each time my food comes out perfect. If I had any complaints it would be placing the thermometer in the middle of the main chamber instead of next to the firebox. I also would have liked better directions. I didn't realize I needed to spray it down with PAM and burn it in for a few hours to season the unit but boy am I glad I did. If you do not plan on doing allot of slow smoking then you can get the unit with just the firebox and the main chamber and skip the big daddy's price.

I have had this smoke just a month now. I have used it ten times. It is already rusting in the fire box and the vertical box. The vertical box is saging and pulling away from the smoker box. There are several places where the welds are not complete and you can see light where it should be sealed . YOu can see smoke escaping from places where it should be sealed. The fire paint on the fire box is peeling off already.I was missing 8 bolts and just went to the hardward store and bought them since no one at Medina will call me back . I am very sad I bought this smoker. I would nor recomend it to anyone. I wish amazon would let me return this item . And the metal is so light it does not hole heat like it should.

I have a full-sized Coleman grill that is no longer made. When my original cast-iron burners finally rusted out, I thought I'd have to chuck the whole thing, which was a shame because the frame was really well constructed and even after 8 years is still holding up well, with no rust at all. I found these as a replacement item and they work really well. The flame is pretty even and my grill heats better than it has in years. There's only one small issue, the air vent at the front doesn't have a screen to keep out dirt and critters as my original burners did, so I'll likely have to clean that out periodically.

Tents were less expensive than the big box (orange) home improvement store plus I didn't have to worry about being in stock. Works like a charm in my grill. Now to replace those burners.....

Works well. My grill uses 15 1/4 x 4 and it fit perfectly. The last ones lasted four years, so these should be good for another four.

My wife ordered this for me recently directly from the manufacturers own web page. My previous BBQ was getting pretty old and needed to have parts replaced, but those replacement parts (just the cast iron grill plates and coal tray) cost about as much as the entire BBQ does brand new (so I might as well by a new one). I've always wanted a BBQ with a built in rotisserie so I went looking around and found this one. We BBQ 2-3 times every two weeks or so during good weather and still do even when it's 20oF outside at times.

The good:

1. Rotisserie = even better BBQ... and this one has three upper and thirteen lower automatic ones. Three large up top and thirteen below. I really don't think there's anything out there that can boast this, even the $1200 BBQ's.

2. Price. No, it's not a cheap $99 job from Lowes or Home Depot, but it's not the $650-$1200 you could spend on an egg or 'semi-pro' smoker/bbq grill. It's much less expensive than most the competition, especially once you've bought all the rotisserie stuff that didn't come with the competitions that you have to install after the fact (which is a bit of a pain and can get even more pricey).

3. Decent size. Not huge, but enough to cook for half a dozen people at once I would say... maybe more depending on how ravenous they are.

4. Adjustable charcoal tray via an external mechanism, not just a hanger inside you have to potentially adjust while the grill is hot. Always a plus. (It would be nice if it had two separate trays that would adjust separately but that's almost nitpicking. Maybe a new `higher' model in the future feature to add).

5. Mine came with the cover, which is nice. You should clean your grill after use and, if you expect rain or even morning dew you should cover it back up after it cools. Your BBQ will last longer this way. I don't think I'd leave the motor out, I'll store it where I do all my other other BBQ stuff.

6. Customer service. These guys are on the spot. We had a secondary item ordered aside from the full on kebab'e'que itself that did not get shipped in the box (I'm sure whoever was packing the order missed it). It couldn't have been more than 15 mins after I emailed them that they called me on the phone saying it would be shipped out shortly along with another set of forks for the mistake. Now, maybe I just caught them at the perfect time, but still, I'm impressed.

The ok/side observations:

1. Two, separate, rotisserie mechanisms that need the motor. You cannot operate both the 3 top rotisserie and the 13 lower rotisserie at the same time unless you buy a second motor. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind when looking at the pictures shown. You might buy a second motor if this is a big deal to you. For me it's not.

2. Spacing. You can't really put a FULL sized chicken on any of the top three rotisserie and close the lid. They will hit the top or sizes of the inside of the BBQ while turning. So you'll need to leave it (at least partially) open. I've solved this problem by propping the lid about 1/4th of the way open so the heat will collect in the lid. This way something like a chicken will get more smoke flavor and won't take so long to cook (but if you're in a hurry you shouldn't be cooking on a BBQ in my opinion and god forbid you buy a gas "BBQ"). Also, sometimes you'll need to plan out your spacing if you are using all three of the top rotisserie at once to make sure things don't bump into each other (with chicken on the top middle one its legs were bumping into smaller items like squash and potatoes on the lower two until I pushed them down a bit futher).

3. Construction is fairly good, but not SUPER TANK solid, and it was simple enough to put together... you don't need to be an engineer. I may take some heat-proof sealer to the places where you bolt things together just for longevity sake (we're in the northwest... where it rains 2/3rds the year).

4. There was one slight bend in one item (the lower shelf wall lip which is only about 1/2 tall). They packed it well and it took a lot of pressure to get it to budge when I went to bend it back into shape, so there's no way this happened during delivery, if it had other things would have been damaged before it was. Not a big deal, not worth sending it back and barely even worth mentioning (I'm sure I'll do worse eventually) but these parts really should not have left the manufacturer this way and the only reason I mention it is because (again) whoever was packing the order needs to be more attentive.

The bad:

1. My only real criticism is the grill grate itself that you'd use for `normal' bbq'ing. Put simply it's not a very good one and while you're not paying a fortune for this BBQ, it is more than the $100 job you'll get a Lowes which has cast iron grate plates with closer bars (so your thin stuff doesn't easily fall through). The grate moves around a bit (although this does not really hinder you in any major way and there's no danger of it falling off or anything) and the bars are too far apart (sometimes I make really thin hamburger patties and stack them on the burger I don't think I could get away with that on this grate). I'll be replacing the grate pretty quickly. The manufacturer did say they will look into a better grate when I mentioned it (again, I don't think they could possibly be more responsive to feedback).

Shipment was super fast across country.

Assembly is simple, they even include a screwdriver!

Everything cooks amazingly fast, but unlike traditional unassisted kabobs, there's no burning, raw interiors, or dried out meat.

I finally found what I had been looking for past 3 years... a rotisserie bbq grill! Or more appropriately, the Kabobeque. It's really a kabob maker with a conventional grill, with skewers that rotate automatically. All you have to do is skewer the meat in and voila! Wait for the deliciousness to melt in your mouth. I love my meat cooked over charcoal so this works perfectly for me but I have to add those looking for something with gas, they don't offer that yet.

Good features:

Easy to clean

Comes with 8 short skewers, 2 skewers for fish and 3 long skewers (all stainless steel)

Chic design

Easy to assemble and operate

Good quality product

Good price

The not-so-good:

Doesn't have a gas model yet

I needed 3 of these burners to replace the 3 rusted out ones on my all stainless Ducane 3 burner gas grill. Actually my grill also has a side burner and a rotisserie infrared burner too. Anyways back to this replacement burner situation, after you lift out all the grates, splatter guard thingys, and such from the surface and have the burners exposed all I had to do was remove the front panel of the grill around the controls, done by removing 4 screws. Then you can wiggle the old nasty rusted burners out, slide the new burners in place, and line up the control panel where it slides back into position (just the tips of the back of the controls nestle into the replacement burner's open end there is not anything you need to do to secure the connection or anything), and screw the 4 screws back in. Replace your grates and you are ready to go. Took maybe 5 minutes max, very easy process, and this Music City Metals Burner was perfect fit and seems just as good of quality as the original. Very glad I bought this specific model, hope this helps somebody get their grill back up and running!!!

Bought a Ducane Stainless grill 2 years ago. Paid big bucks so that I would not need to deal with burner corrosion. 2 years later, the only part that is corroded is , you guessed it, the burner. They cannot be stainless steel. Or if they are, it is THE cheapest grade. They were corroded beyond repair, cleaning etc. Not nearly as good as the "inferior" standard offering. When I called to complain, they geve me a new set without even getting the whole story out of me. Being nice? Sure. But the thousands of dissatisfied customers that went before me probably loosened them up.
