I ordered this to protect our Weber Q 120 and rolling cart (part #6549). It looked huge when I unfolded it--enough so that I double-checked the package to make sure it was the right thing. Sure enough, it was, and when I put it on the grill, it fit fine. I like the Velcro straps on either side of the bottom; this made it much easier to secure against potential wind gusts and give it a little tighter protection against moisture. It could be just a bit longer--like an inch or two--to keep the whole bottom of the cart from being exposed, but it's probably designed that way so as not to entangle the wheels, should one desire to roll it around with the cover still on. All in all, I'm happy. I scored mine on a warehouse deal and it's still in perfect shape (the box hadn't even been opened, or if it had, someone took the trouble of glueing it back shut), and that knocked a dollar or so off the price. Those warehouse deals can be good buys.

It is absolutely sturdy and covers the grill so well from external elements such as water or dust. I am pleased with it.

I received the cover today from Amazon and immediately put it on my new barbeque. Looks great, fits really well, i.e. not tightly but I don't have to worry about it blowing away either thanks to the velcro tightening straps on each side of the cover. I hope it helps my new Weber Q220 last many years.

This fits my Weber Q-120 like a glove. Keeps everything clean and dry since I decided to just keep the bbq out on the deck. The straps on the side keep it snug enough to the cart that it shouldn't blow away during a typical mild storm.

I was worried that the size would be off as my Grill was more than 4 years old. So ordered the Exact fit 13" Fiesta Burner Bar from GrillPro. #20580. The hook up was quick and orderly. I moved the Grill into the house for more light and get it out of the cold. I was worried about the Spider Web Grid Blocking connectors as they seamed to not click into place. I did not use a rubber mallet to create a firm seal I did it by hand. The connections seem just fine. I drilled a hole to accommodate the Piezio-Electric Ceramic sparker but now the Sparker will not ignite the flame. I see the spark but no ignition. Not to worry I went over to Wallmart and picked up a Coleman outdoor hand held Flame igniter and clipped this baby onto the handle of the Grill.

I am now good to Grill -I mean good to go.

I purchased a Smoke Hollow propane gas smoker from the high recommendation of a good friend who has one and uses his extensively. It arrived on time and after some painless basic assembly, I seasoned the unit using the directions included with the smoker. I was excited to christen the smoker with an offering consisting of one whole chicken, and a large pork butt (shoulder). I was NOT disappointed. The unit lights up instantly and trouble free. Temperature is easily maintained at the desired 200-220 degree mark. The entire smoker is well built and the water pan and wood fire box are constructed for many years of faithful service. With four meat racks, a BBQ aficionado can smoke just about anything you could imagine. I have since successfully smoked whole turkeys, hams (to add a smoky flavor), scallops, shrimp, fish, bratwurst, ribs, brisket, chicken, and of course my personal favorite, pork shoulder roast to produce THE BEST pulled pork sandwich. I have not yet tried it but I feel confident I could even cold smoke a slab of bacon, ham hocks or cheese in the unit if the door were to be left ajar a little with a flame low enough to just ignite the wood box, especially if you tried it in the winter when it's nice and cold out so the heat wouldn't build up in the box. This smoker is basically bullet-proof and it turns out savory slow cooked, melt in your mouth BBQ every time. It is also an economical propane user as I can smoke quite a few all day loads without necessitating a propane refill (5gal bottle). I've tried many other units; electric, charcoal, etc. THIS is the easiest, most successful and trouble free unit I've tried. I highly recommend this smoker!

Almost a great smoker except for two problems. Main issue is it burns too hot. If I use the "LOW" setting the temp is around 300. If I use medium, the temp is 450. I haven't had the courage to use the high setting yet. What is especially irritating about this is that if you read other reviews of their products, you find that this is a long running problem with Smoke Hollow products. They know they are too hot and they don't feel any need to make their products work right. Some reviewers say they contacted company and got a different jet--I contacted the company and I've never heard back. Second issue is just general grousing about the cheap junk quality of their nuts and bolts. Nuts are press fit so you can just screw the bolt in and not bother about holding the nut in place--only even a small cross fit and the barrel nut breaks loose and then you have fun. Also the bolts are cheap pot metal and mush fairly easily. The door handle is press fit and it fell off in my hand when I was trying to mount it. The holes for the right side handle were drilled about 3/8" too low on mine--couldn't use one position for the trays because the handle bolts are in the way. 3/8" isn't much but when you are machining metal, you hope to get closer than 3/8". There's A, B, and C labeled nut/bolt plastic bags, which is nice, but they didn't include B in my packaging. The actual design of the box, the layout and size, are excellent. That's what makes it so extremely sad that they didn't take the time to finish the job.

We are going to buy a second one for our sons. I've cooked pork ribs, roasts, steak, fish, chicken and just did asparagus with fresh tomatoes. I've experimented with Apple, Mesquite and Hickory. All turned out good. The only problem I had was cooking a lot of pork ribs at once some of the grease ran out the front and onto the patio. With absolutely no other seasoning this thing makes you into a great outdoor chef.

Honest reviews on Smoke Hollow 34 in. Propane Wood Smoker

I use this as a secondary smoker for when I don't want to spend all day and/or all night tending my offset firebox. It definitely has the advantage of being able to walk away for hours at a time, once you have these initial issues worked out...

1) It puts out too many BTUs to maintain a steady 225 degrees. After research I found two resolutions...

One involved putting a secondary regulator between the main regulator and the burner. I forget the name of the device, but opted to not do that. My concern would be wind blowing out the smaller flame and propane reaching the burning wood. Boom!

Instead I drilled a hole on the top of the unit and essentially added a chimney. That did the trick. At least it did with 70 degree outdoor temperatures. I'll be curious how it performs on a 90+ degree day.

2) Not enough smoke flavor. I've read it's best to replace the wood box with something larger, like a coffee can. I've not yet tried this, but assuming the larger can will fit, I think it will resolve that problem.

3) Don't trust the built in temp gauge. Get a couple probe thermometers. One for the meat, one for the internal temp of the smoker.

Made the best brisket I've ever done in this unit, and I got some sleep too!

There's still nothing like all wood smoking, but for those days where you want some BBQ and not spend most of the weekend standing near a fire, this is a great unit.

I decided to wait on writing a review on this purchase till I used the smoker for a few months. So here goes...

For a gas smoker I believe this thing is about as good as it gets. It has a great design so far as a vertical smoker the smoker box is located directly above the gas burner so it creates constant smoke so long as it is loaded with chips. I've noticed however that to get the wood chips smoking good, one needs to turn the burner up to medium or high for a few minutes initially and then go back down to low. I've done so far several racks of baby backs and spare ribs, chickens and pork shoulder and this thing imparts a thick pink smoke ring, even on the pork butt. In fact, the smoke ring on the ribs goes to the bone they even taste kind of sweet and "hammy" from so much smoke.

The cabinet, hinges and door handle are constructed well and do not feel flimsy. The racks are strong and of high quality as is the water bowl and burner. The door has a thermometer placed such that it displays an accurate temperature (I have verified the temp is accurate with a separate internally placed oven thermometer). In all my smoking with this unit so far I've not had any drippings get around the water bowl and fall to the bottom of the cabinet or burner area so this is a plus.

The gas burner, valve, hose and regulator also seem to be of high quality and the smoker so far seems to be a miser so far as gas consumption is concerned. However one negative is that this thing seems to run a little hot for my taste unless you load it with lots of meat. For example, it's difficult to maintain stable/constant internal cabinet temps less than 250 degrees. I've had to fiddle with trying to close the propane tank valve and the cabinet damper to maintain my preference of very low and slow cooking temps when for example only one rack of ribs is cooking. I plan to contact the manufacturer and see if they can provide me with a different gas regulator that may support cooking at lower temps...

Overall this smoker is a real winner for a gas smoker and if I had it to do over I would buy it again and would also recommend it to anyone needing a simple to operate, well-built gas smoker unit.

For boiling and steaming, it worked great. I thought it would also do for deep-frying but not so according to the directions. I am told that the two flame attachments are too hot to heat the oils.

I think the description of this item should be very clear about "not to be used to deep-fry turkeys".

I have a Charmglow grill that I had gotten from Home Depot and one of the burner tubes was rusted out causing flame-ups. I was originally just looking at replacing one tube, but when I saw this 3pack and knowing that the others were on their way out, it just made financial sense. I had a little problem removing my old ones (the screws holding them in were rusted and stripped), so I just decided to pry them loose with a flat head screwdriver and actually left the old screws in place (but they were a bit loose). The new burner tubes just slide right down over the old screws and that ended up working fine (as I didn't tighten them down). I did have to loosen the burner control panel on my model to get the gas end over the source. One other thing that I did was open up the screen on the end of the tube (done via a single screw) so that more air could mix in. That seemed to give me a better flame. Overall it took me about 30-45 mins with a good 10-15 trying to figure out how to get those rusted screws off.

The replacements came to my house in an oversized box with a large amount of bubble wrap to protect them.

While installing them, I found that one of them had a missing end cover (disappointing). I was able to replace the cover with a used one from one of the original parts. While it didn't fit, it was close enough.

Overall, the replacement burners work fine and I'm grilling again.

For 40 bucks I basically rebuilt my grill. Home Depot wanted 20 bucks each for these replacement parts. With 5 burners that would have been $100. Now my grill works just like when it was new. $40 bucks and I will get about 2 more years out of my grill. Great deal!

I replaced the factory ones that had rusted out and my grill works like new now. Only 4 stars because they did not ship with new screws. I sold my Traeger Junior that I used for camping and picnics. The new PTG is so much more convenient and portable. The grill size is smaller, only 12x15, but it's plenty for cooking up about six burgers, a chicken, or a pork butt. It's not tall enough for a beer can chicken, but that's what my Lil Tex is for. I noticed a new feature on the controller. The "shutdown cycle". Keeps the fan running for 10 minutes to burn out any remaining pellets. That way your firebox doesn't get plugged up w/ ash as often. I wish my digital controller on my Lil Tex had that function.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I recently used a PTG while fishing for 5 days on the Bighorn river in Montana. The grill worked very nicely for grilling steaks and I even managed to smoke pork chops successfully on the PTG. However, the initial try at smoking was not successful due to the temperature on the smoke setting reaching 350˚F. It settled down to 160˚F after about 45 minutes. Apparently, the small size of the grill requires starting on smoke and letting it burn out the initial pellet charge for 15 min with the lid open before closing the lid and smoking. This is my third Traeger and overall, I am satisfied with the PTG. I also bought the PTG stand directly from Traeger. The stand is advertised as collapsible but it requires 18 screws for assembly. It comes with a bag for portability, but I cannot see taking 1/2 hour to assemble and 1/2 hour to disassemble each time you want to use it. The stand is definitely not a portable apparatus. I recommend the PTG but not the stand.

Wow what an amazing food experience. Can't wait for camping season. We'll have the best smelling campsite! The grill lives up to all expectations.

Honest reviews on Traeger Portable Grill PTG

Excellent service. Quick delivery. Quality of product seems on par with other Traeger products. I've only used the grill once and it seemed to work fine. One design flaw is that I wish you could add or check pellets without lifting the main lid. Any traeger person knows you lose previous heat every time you have to check on the pellets.

I have a 2001 Weber Genesis Silver B, and last year it started being reluctant to heat quickly and all the way to 600. Last week the grill never got hotter than about 400, so I knew something was wrong. I took the grill apart and looked at the flame, and it was fairly yellow. Also, the bar that connects the three main burners wasn't working to transfer the flame from one bar to another.

I bought this set from Amazon and installed it today. You have to take the grill apart, including taking the control panel off, the manifold off, disconnect the gas, take the flavor bars and grates out, etc. After I had everything uninstalled I elected to drag mine out in the yard and pressure wash it. After it dried I installed the new burners, new flavor bars, new grates, etc. I went all stainless this time. The flame coming out of the new burners is blue, and is very hot. I also put a new starter in, and the grill starts so nice and easy and the bar that connects the three burners transfered the flame from one burner to another. It reminded me of when I first bought it. The grill heated up to 500 in about 5 minutes...a night and day difference from before.

You might think I'm crazy for investing $160 in grill parts, after all some grills only cost $160 for the entire grill. I know that my Silver B is good for another 5 years at least, and I LOVE this grill. Who knows when they'll stop making parts for these grills?

Anyway, my advice to you is if you have a Weber gas grill that is more than 6 years old and you haven't replaced the burners yet, and you are experiencing any of the symptoms I described, don't hesitate to put in new burners. It's relatively easy, and it makes a huge difference.

I was very impressed how easy it was to install the new burners in my Weber Grill. I've had the grill for probably 10 years and decided to replace the burners, flavor bars and grates. All were reasonably priced on Amazon with fast shipping even using the free Super Saver Shipping. Getting the burners out would have been easier if I would have waited to get the new ones first before trying to figure out how to remove them myself. I made the removal much harder than it should have been and the instructions were great. With the replacement of the grates, flavor bars and burners it is like I have a new grill for about $100 total.

Best Deals for Weber 7508 Stainless Steel 3 Burner Tube Set

Great! Burners were easy to install Just follow the included directions. All you need is a Phillips Screwdriver. I also purchased a new push button ignitor at a later time. If you get the igniter with the burner set you will only have to remove the side control knob plate once.

Honest reviews on Weber 7508 Stainless Steel 3 Burner Tube Set

I will manage to get another season or three out of my Weber by installing this Burner Tube set installation was a little difficult, but once done the grill works great! Be aware that these burner tubes are bolted down in the grill the bolt is typically very corroded and likely impossible to remove. Grinding or cutting it off helps remove the old tubes, then just lay the new tubes on the support. Once the cross-tube is installed and the three burner tubes attached to the fuel supply, they are sturdy enough not to need the corner bolts.

Quickie install instructions:

think safety! Safety glasses, turn off gas, don't run with scissors!

remove grills, burner guards

remove bits and pieces of corroded tubes

Unbolt (or grind/cut off) corners (left front and rear)

pull tubes away from fuel valves, twist to get through opening (this can be a little difficult)

take a moment to brush out burned crud in bottom of grill

insert center tube, push firmly onto fuel supply tube (under knobs); orient with perforations up

insert cross tube, perforations toward center of grill (right)

insert front or rear tube, fit onto fuel tube then cross tube;perforations toward center push firmly onto fuel tube

put bolts back in place if removed, otherwise burner tubes should sit squarely on corners

replace guards/grills

fire that baby up!!

I bought this product a little over a year ago to replace the original burners for my Gensis Silver B. The problem is the fuel rail connecting the burners has already corroded to the point where it can no longer carry the flame to the 2nd and 3rd burners. Not sure what it's made of but it's not the same quality as burners themselves. I'll be contacting Weber to complain.

I replaced a grill that had cast iron everything. It would take 20 minutes or longer to get the grill to 400 degrees. This new Weber takes only about 5 minutes to hit 500 degrees. I love the 4 burner front to back design. It is a design that gets me back to the days of indirect heat cooking I got from my Weber charcoal grill. I have cooked steak, burgers, chicken and a Wisconsin favorite brats. This is the first time I have a side burner on a grill. I've used it to heat a few things and appreciate it.

I live in an area that has a constant breeze that was always a problem for other grills. The wind would get into the grill between the base and the cover and mess with the flame and cool the food. This grill has an inner cover that connects to the base and blocks the wind. This makes for very even temperature.

I was told this grill is manufactured in China and I was a little nervious about the quality of it. As far as I can tell, it is very well made and all the stainless is very thick. I looked at a couple other stainless steel grills and there is a noticable difference. Even the lower line of Webers have thinner metal.

The grill comes preassembled except for the two side tables. Two screws each and the grill was pretty much done. The grates and flavor bars had to be put into place. I was preheating in no time.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I've been using the grill for the last couple weeks and I must say I absolutely love how it cooks. It does a fantastic job. There are many pluses about this grill and I read many positive reviews before getting it, but I'm focus my attention on what I feel is a fairly hefty design flaw with this model. When it rains, the water channels down the back of the top cover (the part that doesn't move) and wraps around under neither and drips into the stainless steal grease tray, which then funnells the water into the alumimun grease tin. The water also appears to be all over the bottom shelf area after a good rain. I'm not sure if this is because it's overflowing out of the aluminum tin, or whether it's coming in somewhere else. The result is, if the BBQ is out in the rain, you'll have a very wet interior. The next problem that occurs because of the moisture is the electric starters don't always function as expected. I've had to start my BBQ with a lighter a couple times now. However, once it heats up (which it doesn't very quickly) the starters dry out and then function normally again (this is what the online help for the BBQ states to would happen). I'm also starting to see rust forming on the interior rivets. My guess is they weren't designed to have that much water around them, but it's concerning as I was hoping this grill would have no problems lasting many years.

I have called Weber support and told them about this issue they said I need to keep a cover on it and are sending me out one. I have to say the people on the support line were very friendly. I just wish they had a solution to the real problem, other than covering your grill. If I'd just bought this thing to look pretty, I wouldn't care, but I use it everyday for at least one meal and I live in the Pacific Northwest were BBQing in rain is a common practice. Waiting for the grill to cool down before putting the cover on is a pain and not something I always remember each night.

I've also looked at the Genesis series at Home Depot and noticed they have a lip on the back to help prevent the water from coming in. According to the guy at Home Depot this does help a fair bit and definitely more than the design on the Summit.

Best Deals for Weber 1810001 Summit S-420 Natural Gas Grill, Stainless Steel

The grill was pretty easy to set up. Since my back yard is open and exposed, I will chain this beauty down...but there is no easy way to do that, I'll have to drill through the stainless steel.

Reading reviews of other models, I knew that it was going to run hot. But caution! The book of recipes that comes with the grill will make you burn everything up. It does warn that they are extra hot before they get broken in (dirty) but that doesn't say it all. I very nearly ruined 3 meals before I started watching the meat instead of following their instructions to leave the lid down as much as possible.

Always adding olive oil to your meat will make things better. Having a grill that will heat to 500 degrees or more is great, it is easier to clean than my old one. You can bake a pizza in there.

I did not follow the advice from a review on a similar model, I've gone ahead and purchased the Webber cover. While the stainless steel is easy to maintain, the rain and snow leaves too much dirt on it, so I'll cover it in winter.

Honest reviews on Weber 1810001 Summit S-420 Natural Gas Grill, Stainless Steel

The Summit grills are excellent, but very expensive. Relative to the top-rated (Consumer Reports) E-series at less than half the cost, the S-420 is not a particularly good value (hence the 3 stars).

However, if you are considering spending ~$1.5k on a grille, look closely at the Weber S-470.

For an additional ~20% in cost, the three additional burners add a *HUGE* amount of versatility:

1) Built-in smoke-box (with separate burner control) is extremely convenient, and works well.

With our old Weber, smoking was difficult to control and I never got good results. Now I smoke anything other than thin cuts. Ribs are amazing... :-) The smoke box does slightly reduce the available grill area, but the S-470 can still handle a large load. The dedicated smoker burner also acts as an excellent additional indirect heating source, even if you are not smoking.

2) Extra "searing" burner generates crazy amounts of heat in the middle section, enough to match any charcoal fire. This works extremely well for steaks.

3) Added infra-red burner makes browning on the rotisserie easy.

4) The combination of these added burners enables extremely rapid pre-heating. Our S-470 hits >700F in less than 10 minutes with all 7 burners active!

If you shop on-line carefully, you may find the S-470 at sale prices even closer to the S-420 than the 20% gap in list price. At the time we bought our S470, the street-price gap was less than 10%.

This is my fourth Weber but my first Summit model. The previous Genesis models that I owned came with quite a bit of assembly required so I was surprised to see the Summit come off the truck pretty much all assembled. All I had to do as to follow the simple instructions for adding the left and right work surfaces/burner and a couple of other things and I was in business.

It works like all Webers ... just plain excellent! I still miss the left and right side fold up work surfaces that disappeared in the redesign that happened a couple of years back. If I have one complaint it would be that if you opt for the side burner you really have only one work surface and that is on the left side. Being right handed it would have been better for me to have the work surface on the right side and the burner on the left, but I can live with it.

Mine is the natural gas model and I have found little difference in cooking times from the propane models I enjoyed earlier.

Webers are not cheap, and you can buy a whole lot more grill (read hardware) for the money, but if you spend some time inspecting the other models and doing some comparisons you can quickly see why the Weber is a better product.

I have had several motion sensor lights All had issues of either coming on when they should not, not coming on, or staying on. RAB seemed more expensive but promised higher quality, so in despiration I sprung for this. My high expectations have been exceeded. The motion sensor works perfectly! Finally! And to add to my joy, I see that it has a 10yr warranty WOW! After seeing the 10yr warranty I called them about a different landscape fixture that had broken in the hurricane It was out of warranty but they sent me a new one no problem! This company builds the best quality product and backs it with quality customer service I will buy all future products from them And due to the problematic nature of all the "Home Depot" motion lights, there is no competition on motion sensors Get this one, you will be glad that you did!

I've had a RAB Stealth Sensor on the side of my house for about 11 years now, and it's still working as good as new. The range and adjustment of this thing has been consistent over the years, and it just works flawlessly. It's great that some companies still make quality products.

I installed this light above my garage about eight months ago. Installation and set-up was not difficult for me. I have wired a lot of lighting in the past but I am the average do-it-yourselfer -by no means am I an electrician. It took me about two hours to install and then get the sensor to react at the perfect position. Passing cars and people walking past my driveway on the sidewalk will not trigger the sensor, but anyone who steps into my driveway will. The instructions that came with the unit were of similar quality, and there is a phone number that came with the instructions in case I needed additional help. The light has worked flawlessly since installation and set-up. I recommend it.

I installed two of these units (one on the front and one on the side of my home). I had a professional install and mount them. If you plan on doing this yourself, remember to turn the power off first.

These units have been up for 3 months and they work fine. I have 100 watt floodlamps installed and they light up the house well. They can be set to be sensitive or not. I live in the rear of my development and don't get much traffic. I have these set to light up at night, so that I can observe on my security system when someone either walks or drives by my house.

I highly recommend this brand and plan on purchasing two more units for the rear of my house.

I had to give four stars due to the item description leaving out the fact that there is no handle. That's an inconvenience to me yes, but I would not have purchased otherwise.
