This grill is well constructed and looks great (at first) but it has two major flaws which have led to my 3 star review. First the flame is prone to being blown out by the wind and second the stainless on the grill has discolored with use. I would not expect these problems from a grill in this price range. However when the wind is calm it is hands down the hottest best performing tabletop grill I have used.

After 10 years of use with a Soleaire portable, infared grill I really loved the idea of more cooking surface and the warming tray of the Napoleon. We purchased this grill a couple weeks ahead of a camping trip to yosemite. We took our former grill EVERYWHERE on vacation and would always have hotdogs, Brats, etc. the cooler to avoid the high cost of " tourist trap" food.

The first night of our trip, we decided to give the new grill a whirl. I noticed right away, how flimsy and cheapie the Grill seemed. For Stainless Steel, it was really shocking. Even closing the lid was a tell tale sign that you could hardly get the top and bottom to line up to close the lid clamp. After preheating the grill, we through on some regular hotdogs and as soon as the grease of the hotdogs starting coming out, the "Element" started getting holes in it. This was within the first 5 minutes! at this point , I knew we would end up returning this piece of junk, so we cooked on it the whole trip, never even tried to clean it, just said screw it. After about 12 cooks, The element was completely shot, and if I was stuck with this grill I would be 10x as mad and frustrated as I already am. Amazon is great in these types of cases where you such a lemon of a product at least you dont end up getting stuck with it. I had to rate it one star, if I could have done 0 or lets say -10, I would have.

This is a great pan to grill veggies without fear of losing them through the grates on the grill. The pan is large enough to hold a lot of food, but is fine for small amounts too. I sprayed non-stick coating on it and grilled salmon on one half, veggies on the other. Easy soap and water clean up.

I bought 4 pieces to replace my corroded parts from the kenmore grille. The parts fit onto the top of the burners i bought as well from here like the originals. Sears was just asking too much for these original parts. I highly recommended them if you like replacing parts from a different vendor.

I purchased these through Amazon Warehouse Deals and saved some money. I have to replace the burners and flame tamers on my Members Mark grill about every 4 years. I've read that the burners rust out quicker if you keep the grill covered (which I always do). I look at it as a cost of doing "busness". I love cooking outside and take better care of my grill than I do my house!!!.

It's amazing how much better the grill works with new parts.

Works like a charm. I was going for something small and compact to take to the beach or to just relax at a state park for the day. It is perfect for what I bought it for. It is not for someone looking to conserve space or stay light weight via hiking or one backpack a person hike to camp kind of deal. We bought this grill while camping in Colorado. Have cooked burgers, turkey sausages, chicken breasts and corn on the cob. All turned out great. Cleanup is a snap -far easier than the Forman it replaced, and now no added heat indoors from cooking. At home we'll probably switch to a larger tank through an adapter. Highly recommended.

Only drawback is that all the holes at the end to attach to the grill are the same and that isn't the case with the grill. The one I was replacing needed the hole to be drilled on the other side but I was able to turn it at a slight angle and make it work.

Bayou Outdoor fish cooker. I had one for 25 years but it was made in America. twice as heavy in construction as this one and better quality. With that said: it does everything it say it will do but I doubt very much it will last 25 years.Hint, if it is a windy day wrap tin foild arond legs just below the ring so you can control the flame on low. Have used it 4 times and fish have come out perfect. I would have paid 20 dollars more for one like I had. Like other reviews ,put a container of water on it and burn on high for 1/2 hour to burn off the paint, it smells bad and does catch on fire.

The cooker was a great purchase. I used it for our community day. I easily cooked approx. 40-45 lbs of fried fish. This was my first time cooking with propane, but once I got the flame adjusted all went well. The set was very very easy to assemble with only a wrench needed to tighten the screws The directions that are included are easy to read and follow. Pay attention to the precautions re the propane, and also wear protective cooking glove when frying and removing food items from the cooker. Yes I recommend this fish cooker to others.

Stok SIS9000 Grill Replacement 22-1/2-Inch Grate Reviews

I was about to purchase the Weber 7420 Gourmet BBQ System Sear Grate set until I came across the Stok. The Weber sear set was very pricey at $69.99 for basically a cast iron center searing piece and the typical steel grill that came with my Weber grill. The only advantage I could see was the 'x' searing marks the center grate would leave. I can't justify spending that kind of a price for visual benefits. However, if the whole set was made of cast iron, I would have definitely purchased it at that price. Fortunately, I did my research and came up on Stok. Both center and outer grill grates were made of cast iron and as a bonus, was price much cheaper.

So the background is this: I wanted something much more heavier duty to replace the fragile and flimsy looking (chrome or shiny things don't belong on the inside of a BBQ grill) stock grill on my Weber Platinum Performer Grill. I knew that the 22.5" stock grill would fail (i.e. disintegrate due to the constant high heat) sooner or later. I know this because the steel grills on my Jenn-Air is thicker and the welding has broken loose after 30 months of BBQ'ing. So when I came across the Stok grill and read the reviews, I knew it was a match made in heaven. I like the fact that it is made of thick cast iron, and that means it will hold heat much better and distribute it more evenly then the sock unit. For sure I will be getting those searing marks although not the Weber 'X' type. Did I forget to say it's heavy as a train? Love it! I think this will outlast my grill. The middle section can be swapped out with Stok's three other center options (pizza stone, griddle, and vegetable grate). I think I am going to order the vegetable center grate/tray (Stok SIS2050) soon. I recommend it because the space between the grills are wider than the stock Weber and small vegetables might fall through. In addition, I would recommend getting the Stok center piece removal tool (Stok SGA1000). Makes removing a hot center grate for adding/removing coals and/or swapping out grates a cinch. My Weber Performer Platinum grill is now complete and looks like it was built for battle!! Works on any Weber 22.5. I am thinking of buying one for my Weber Smokey Mountain 22.5!!

Purchased this grate for my Weber performer grill and love it. Bought it at Home Depot as they were closing them out and were less than 1/2 of the Cray Croft price. (I was going to buy the Cray Croft until I saw this). I did make 2 heavy wire handles and 3 clips to hold the center in place so I could remove it in one piece when hanging it on the existing Weber grill hook. It heats evenly and puts great sear marks on chops and steaks. Also nothing seems to stick to it. We even barbecued a pizza and it turned out very good. It does take a little getting used to as it cooks a little faster than the original grate.

Basically, this is a poor design all around. The grill is very heavy. so if the center piece was not part of the design, it would be far too cumbersome to use. First, one has to purchase a special tool to remove the center piece. This tool does not provide a secure grip and it slipped free, dropped and cracked in two pieces. Second, the material is not suitable for this application, too brittle. I use a chimney for the charcoal, which fit nicely in the center when the center grill was removed. But, where to put the center piece while awaiting the coals? It will grease up anything you set it on. I tried to stand it vertically with an edge wedged between the grooves of the surrounding grill, but this was very precarious. I'm going to Home Depot and getting the basic replacement grill that is similar to the original issue Weber part, which lasted me several years before it just got so rusted I had to replace. This didn't even make it through a half a season. Boooo!

I am a die hard Weber fan. I own 9 of their grills in various configurations, 2 of which are 22.5 inch charcoal grills. Imagine my surprise to find that another company makes an upgrade for the classic Kettle that is better than any offering from Weber themselves. This piece is exactly what the Kettle needs in every way. The cast iron is very solid and looks as if it will last as long as the grill. It is quite apparent to me that Stok did their research when designing this piece. The center opening is a perfect size for the large Weber Chimney starter to sit inside directly on the charcoal grate while brewing up coals. It is also the perfect size for dumping said charcoal. I feel the grate is the proper thickness, as anything thicker would add weight which most likely would bend the supports in the kettle. I also have not had any problems with the center shifting once it is put in place. Perfect fit, cast iron durability, and all for the price of 2 Weber steel grates, so what's not to like? I did spend the extra for the Stok SGA1000 Insert Removal Tool and it was well worth the money IMO. Makes removing the center piece to add hot coals a breeze. If you love your Kettle like I do, treat yourself to this nice upgrade.
