I purchased this part as part of my project to revitalize my 7 year old Weber Silver Genesis B grill which sees some heave usage. My original catch pan got corroded even though I replaced the aluminum drip pan inserts regularly.

This part, along with new flavorizer bars, igniter and grill surface (all easy to order and replace) totally rehabbed my grill into 'like-new' condition.

You can improvise your own drip pan with a wire hangar and an empty can of beans if need be! I just liked have a newish looking grill. :)

What makes a Weber so awesome? Part availability. Mine is over ten years old, and when I have an occasional item finally die due to wear and tear, I can always get the part I need. All my friends who saved a couple hundred bucks ten years ago are either grilling on rusted out junk, or have purchased two other grills by now. Mine looks like it could easily last another ten years!

This catch pan holder fits right in the original bracket on my 900 LP model Weber from 1998.

I have checked out similar items and many products to clean my grill. This is the best ever and I recommend it totally.

Our grandkids borrowed our new grill and returned it in a heavily charred condition. We tried a number of cleaning products, attempted to burn it off, and used tons of elbow grease. Grand Grill Daddy team-cleaner came to our rescue and restored the grates to their original condition.

Makes my little Gold 18.5" Weber Kettle a mini-smoker. I already have the Weber charcoal rails for indirect smoking, but this works better. It allows you to smoke more meat because all the coals are on one side. Be careful that Smokenator is well latched on the grate supports, or it will dump over.

Absolutely love this thing. Smoked pork butts, ribs, loins, briskets, and chickens already and all turned out to be the best I have ever eaten. Nice not having to have a dedicated smoker on top of all the other grills I have. Only mistake I made was I should have bought the larger size grill.

Little tough to get the temp up to 325 for chicken. In reality I should have just upgraded to the larger size Weber and got the bigger smokenator. That said, this item is awesome, fun to use, works great. It's extremely simple and if I had any clue how to cut and bend sheet metal I'd simply make it myself. Given, I feel like the item is a little overpriced, but it does a great job and I can't complain when a product meets my needs and I'm left with great tasting bbq.

I travel for a living and have limited space in my RV to store non-essenital items. I certainly don't have room for a full size smoker. I do however, have room for a Weber 18" Kettle. This smokenator transformed my kettle! I have done a couple of smokes so far and this little gadget works great! I made the best salmon I have ever had.

Most people find by experience or warnings on other reviews that the water pan is small and requires a lot of attention. The Excellente Jam pan is recommended. However, if you have the 18" Weber the 4 inch deep jam pan will be too high to allow your lid to close. The way to remedy this is to put the pan on the lower coal grate next to the smokenator. Some people, however, like to cook on that lower grate. The two inch deep jam pan works perfect for the 18" Weber. It can sit on the top grate and will still allow the lid to close.

Some forums have suggested that fire bricks will do just as good of job. I don't know about that but I do know this item works perfectly. It isn't heavy like bricks, leaves more room for cooking area, is easier to store than bricks, and from what I have read it doesn't take as long to heat up as bricks. This is important to get a steady temp going in a shorter period of time.

When I finally get home I am getting another one for my 22" Weber!

Highly recommended.

Works like a charm. I was going for something small and compact to take to the beach or to just relax at a state park for the day. It is perfect for what I bought it for. It is not for someone looking to conserve space or stay light weight via hiking or one backpack a person hike to camp kind of deal. Very easy setup, you need to buy a small propane tank for it but they are like 5 bucks, no biggy.

We bought this grill while camping in Colorado. Have cooked burgers, turkey sausages, chicken breasts and corn on the cob. All turned out great. Cleanup is a snap -far easier than the Forman it replaced, and now no added heat indoors from cooking. At home we'll probably switch to a larger tank through an adapter. Highly recommended.

What a dissapointment this piece of crap was. Sorry, but it really is not worth but maybe half the price. I could have gone to Lowes or Walmart and got a larger and more user friendly grill for less. Valve to cannister setup is awkward and poorly designed.

For the price this is a quality, must have item. It is similar in make to the internal grill grate that comes with the grill. Makes grilling much nicer having a place to put your food items when you are loading and unloading the grill. This should be included with a new grill. The only downfall to it is having to take it off and find a place to put it every time (if you have a fitted cover). I put mine inside the grill and take it back out when using the grill. All in all well worth the price.

Junk! I wanted to BBQ some NY steaks medium rare (~125F). Thermometers (2 of them) jumped to 175F very fast (within a few minutes) and the inside of the steaks was still dead cold.

The apron looks deceivingly normal sized in the photo to me so I bought this item as the price was right. I don't think I'm a fat guy... I am fairly average/big (6' 200 lbs) but this apron makes me feel like a fat kid because it doesn't fit around my 36" waste! That being said the tools that came with it are of fair enough quality for it to be worth the price except the oven mit which is basically a piece of cotton. Pretty good gift for a younger person though if you want to get them their first apron and grill kit.

I bought this as a Father's Day gift and it didn't disappoint. The apron is fairly heavy duty and the pockets are secure. The grilling utensils are decent quality and the oven mitt was nicer than another review had led me to believe. The salt and pepper shakers are smallish, but that's a minor quibble. My grandson enjoyed giving this to his father, and his father really liked it. The tools alone are worth the price, the apron and mitt are just bonuses!

I would NOT buy this for someone as the ultimate set of grilling utensils. However, it is cheap and is a funny sort of 'gag gift' for any guy who loves to grill. The cord that holds it in place around the guys waist is laughable. We couldn't even get it around my brother in law (which was hilarious and made the gift even better for my purposes although he is not what I would consider fat by any means). The oven mit is a joke if you get it near anything even lukewarm it'll probably catch on fire. Might want to just throw that away right when you get it. Cute and potentially funny gift idea though.

These are plastic and therefore not the highest, commercial quality available but all I could afford at the moment. They came with some flash still plugging a few of the teeth in the comb and along the thin edge of the scrapers but a few minutes spent with a sharp scalpel quickly remedied those issues. For someone on a budget (like me) these will do a great job if you take care of them and don't expect too much out of plastic!

These skewers are great. They are strong and sharp enough to pierce through tough salmon skin, and they hold the food in place so there's no spinning when the kabobs are turned on the grill. I have round bamboo and metal skewers but now prefer to use these for kabobs. I also like the length of these skewers (8.3"). They hold a fair amount of food, are easy to handle, fit on small grills, and they don't splinter. It tends to slip under the weight of the grill when using a horizontal railing. I found that sail tape inside of the black plastic insert for it works really well.

Excellent for BBQ's etc. Holds foods firmly and food does not spin. Much more stable than normal round toothpick style skewers. These can hold much heavy items and you don't feel as though the food will drop off. I soak this item in water before using and wash them off well after. They are reusable and have held up well after several times of use so far. If there were anything to suggest about this item is wanting the cost to be less. However since I get several uses out of it I am satisfied and I am ok with it costing more that reg skewers. I would highly recommend this item.
