The website states that the product dimensions are 15x15x3.5. This may be correct but is misleading. Please be aware that the center section is only 10" in diameter (as shown in the image I've attached). I mistakenly purchased this thinking that the center section was 13". The product actually fits on a 15" diameter round grill/smoker. If the diameter of your grill is larger than this, do not buy this product.

This custom made griddle is exactly what you need. I have made pancake breakfasts for groups of 6 to 12 several times on it now, and I love it. It holds its temperature just fine and seasons after cooking a half-pound of bacon. I keep it inside the grill all the time when not in use and set it aside when I'm doing just plain grilling.

The one think I wish it had is a little deeper grease reservoir. It fills up pretty fast. But then I really shouldn't be eating that much greasy food anyway and really, I usually don't.

This grill is great! I was hesitatnt because I wanted that "char-grill" taste on my food. I live in a townhome so I cannot have open flames on my patio. This is the perfect alternative. Food tastes amazing. Easy to assemble, although takes a bit of time. Maybe because I'm not too handy. Clean-up is also very simple. If you are debating it... buy it. Happy grilling!

I bought this cover when I bought my grill. I have had it a little over a month now and it is already fading. The material seems ok, not the thick durable stuff like other Binkmann covers I have bought before. All in all it is good though. Cheap cover for a cheap grill.

I found a used Viking Natural gas grill on Craigslist which I purchased as a house warming gift for my brother. The grill had the older style piezo style lighting mechanisms that have a very loud audible CLACK every time you use them to ignite a burner. I hate the clack. I really hate the clack. I purchased this ignitor b/c the 6 outlets & rewired to the burners so it would have the soft 'tick tick ticking' of the electric ignitor (seems appropriate for this grill). I found the same thing at Home Depot for $30 which I ended up returning once I saw this on Amazon for a fraction of the price. It's now 6 months later & the ignitor still does exactly what it was designed to do. BTW, if you are adapting from one ignitor to this, the hole where it mounts will be to be slightly enlarged as this was a little bit bigger & wasn't a direct replacement without making the mounting hold a little larger. I would absolutely buy this again if any of the ignitors fail on my Wolf grill & I'm not so sure that these aren't the exact units already installed on my grill. Don't buy these at the Big Box for 3x the price get it here on Amazon & use the savings on some nice ribeyes.

I have a TEC Char-Broil Grill (Model# 463268407) and the ignition button had rusted out. I called Char-Broil and they wanted 8 times the cost of this ignitor so I took a chance and was happy that this worked. It is not the same shape but I was able to get it installed and working in a few minutes. All six burners now light with no issues!

My ignite function was not working with the dial. This is a replacement for my Jenn Air 720. I was a little worried that it would not fit but I took a risk since the description listed my BBQ. I was going to drill a new hole for this but all I had to do was remove the original battery box and screw this into place. It was a tight fit, but it worked. My bbq only needs 5 outlets so I taped over the one I didn't need. The original function of igniting with the dial is disabled but I am ok with just turning on the gas and pushing this igniter. This is a super good value and showed up next day from Arizona with my prime shipping.Super happy now since I don't have to use a match.

Used this in my charmglow grill. The OEM part was a 4 port but the 6 port works fine. The dimensions are the same for the 4 port and 6 port. Takes about 5 minutes to replace. I have only had it for about 2 months but so far works well.

I purchased this item because of its light weight. I own and love my Weber Q 100, but it weights around 35 pounds. I'm getting a little older, and have very limited use of my left arm anymore. This grill is only 11 pounds which is so much easier for me to handle tailgating. I love the Griddle on top. I can toast my hamburger buns, while cooking my hamburger, make pancakes, or do eggs in the morning for breakfast, and not have to bring a skillet. Clean up on the griddle is super easy. I use Pam spray for grills on the grill its self which helps with clean up there. The heat guard or plate that sets between the burners, and the grill is a different story. It sucks to clean up. Don't melt your cheese on your burgers on the grill. Maybe the griddle, but not the grill, you don't want your cheese melting down to the heat shield. This shield also holds the grease from your burgers which causes flare ups, then lots of smoke. I also don't like the screw in valve on the side. Once you get it on you really never have to take it off. I take it off because of travel, don't want it to break, and find out to late in my parking spot trying to tailgate. Getting it on stinks. You assemble this whole grill to begin with. As you put the burner in, you put it in tail first, so that way it hangs outside of the grill, to accept valve and gas. The tail has slots in it, why I don't understand. To correct this they give you a little silver cup, to put over the tail, which gets secured as you put in the valve. This makes it hard to thread the valve properly. To me what this cup does is it covers the slots so wind does not blow out the gas, also so it can allow the gas to get into the burner, other than that you would have a nice fire next to your gas canister.

It is a nice product, with good concepts. To me tho this needs to be tweaked on a little bit more before I would recommend it to anyone.

Pros. Light weight, takes up less room, and griddle means I also don't have to bring a skillet. Pretty good tailgater all in all.

Cons. Flare ups, slots in burner tail intake.

I would also like to add that you have to put the handles on yourself, which is easy, but they give you flat washers to put on between the nut and top. You should really take these washers down to your local hardware store and match them up to lock washers, or your handles will keep coming loose. It's a pain in the butt that their engineers missed this, which is something so simple.

***** PART B ........ Last Year at Chicagoland Speedway during NASCAR race weekend I witnessed one of these grills burn. One of the families there had this grill on a waist high table. I smelled something horrible turned around and watched the green paint bubble, and black smoke rising from this grill. I yelled at them, and they got it off the table, and turned off in time to save their canopy from also going up in flames. No I don't remember what he was cooking. But like I said that heat shield holds grease, and flares up. I do apologize for not updating this after it happened. I completely forgot until I saw that someone had sent me a question on this grill. Give them all the credit for jogging my memory. Thank You R. Yu

I was intrigued by this grill and its grill surface and griddle surface. I thought this would be great for camping and tailgating. I was right. It is easy to assemble, only takes about 15 minutes. It uses the propane canisters and heats up very quickly. I tried sausage on the grill surface and pancakes on the griddle. They cooked very evenly. It is great that I now have a grill that can do both grilling and griddling. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all covered! The only small issue that I have is that the griddle is not super secure on the top of the grill, so you have to be careful if you lift the lid. Other than that, I am very happy with this purchase.

Purchased grill for family camping vacation. Only one side of the burner works well enough to cook hotdogs. Had to put the cover on in order to get enough heat to cook the hotdogs. Had problems with flare-ups. Didn't try the griddle since we barely got adequate heat to cook the hotdogs. We used the grill only the one time on the camping trip because we were so frustrated with it and have used the grill one time since cooking on only the one side of the burner. Poor design for transporting. You feel you need to carry this thing with two hands so it doesn't come apart when moving it. Since we purchased this while at camp the box and paperwork went into the camp fire. Hoping we can return the darn thing. The reason we purchased THIS grill is because we have always trusted the Cuisinart name.

At $55, this is a great buy. If you're looking for an affordable propane grill to take camping or tailgating, this will definitely get the job done. It's light, portable and easy to assemble. The regulator works nicely, and the griddle obviates the need for a pan.

Where the lid lacks a hinge, you will need some room to set the lid and griddle aside. I recommend not attaching the chains included to connect the lid and griddle to the base.

Bought this grill for use at football tailgates this year. I liked the small size and the portability of the unit but most of all, the integrated griddle in the cover. The combo griddle and grill feature allows us to leave the electric griddle at home and carry only one cook surface to the lot.

The grill and griddle surfaces cook well, although the small size makes it difficult to cook for more than 8 people at a time. The griddle surface cooks evenly, but there is no place for the grease from bacon or sausage to run. The griddle needs to be drained manually which makes cooking larger amounts of food tedious. The grill works as expected. Burgers and brats cook easily.

The compact packaging makes transport and storage easy and convenient. The cover and griddle is supposed to have a retention chain according to the assembly instructions, but I really don't understand the purpose. Assembly is easy, although the handles should really be attached with lock washers instead of the flat washers provided.

In all, this grill is a good value and performs as expected. It is not the perfect grill for all situations, but it excels in being a portable cooking surface for small/medium groups. The grill AND griddle feature means you don't need to buy/bring additional cookware...saving money and space (the reason I bought the grill).

This mount is very useful for those who do not have rod holders to mount the grill on. It does lose a star because it does not grip particularly well on my boat. It tends to slip under the weight of the grill when using a horizontal railing. I found that sail tape inside of the black plastic insert for it works really well.

I've used this product once and it's very easy to set the beer can and chicken on the grill. The only problem is getting everything off the grill once it's scorching hot. The way I get the chicken off is to get a flat cookie sheet, slide the chicken standing up with the holder onto the sheet, and take it into the kitchen. Some would say just lift the chicken off while it's still on the grill, but it tastes better if you leave it on there after pulling from the grill for a little while. I like to eat it while it's hot, so that's why it comes off right away. You could also leave it on the grill after shutting the grill off to cool down, but then the chicken won't be piping hot.

Used these Saturday on 2 5lb chickens and they worked great. Only slight problem was removing chickens from holders. Had to use my silicon gloves to lift chickens off while a friend held the cooker down with a large fork , other than that the chickens were juicy and perfectly cooked. I have a Napoleon grill with a cast iron grill that's heavy duty but sits too close to the heat source to do what the man grate does. Allows one to cook over high heat for the sear even on fatty chicken pieces like leg-quarters without flare-ups and blackened skin. That alone makes it worth the price. Reminds me of a chunk of the grill at the restaurant I worked for years ago. Just make sure you get at least two-the size is on the wimpy side. (only reason I didn't give it 5 stars)

These things aren't cheap, but they're amazing. And if you shop around for bargains, you can get a decent deal.

I first heard about these on Adam Carolla's podcast. He plugs them all the time and gives them as gifts to his guests, so I figured I'd give them a try. I bought a set of four. Make sure you read the instructions and season them first. Then give them a good twenty minute preheat before you use them. I fired up my grill to about 550 and preheated it for twenty minutes. Then I dropped the steaks on and could instantly see a difference. Per the instructions, I turned down the heat to medium after I put it on. The meat seared nicely right away and I turned it 45 degrees to get nice sear marks. Same with the other side.

These steaks turned out perfect. I've been grilling for decades and have never really been disappointed by my cooking, but these Mangrates truly improved the quality of the cooking. The shape of the grills recirculate a lot of the heat and the juices and create an incredible cooking surface.

Again, shop for bargains. See the comments below for the deal that I found.

EDIT: Now that I've been using the Mangrates for a few more days, I have to say that these things are even more amazing than I first thought. Check out my pictures at the top of the product page. Everything I've cooked so far has turned out as good or better than restaurant quality.

I have a Ducane natural gas grill that I've had for about 10 years. It has been a good grill, but the stamped stainless steel grates that came with the grill have been lacking. They just don't hold heat very well. I'd get the grill good and hot, throw a steak on it, and within a minute, the sizzle would die off. NEVER a grill mark. And there were definite hot spots, with definite dead areas as well. After the heat was pulled out of the grates by the meat, my grill basically became an oven.

After hearing about them on the Adam Carolla podcast, I ponied up the money for 4 mangrates. Four of them cover 80% of my grill surface. Not perfect, but every inch of the Mangrates is useable, because the cast-iron heats much more evenly than the stamped stainless grates. No more hot spots, no more dead areas like before.

The key to Mangrates is how well the heavy cast iron holds the heat. It does take a bit more time to get them screaming hot, but once you're there, they hold the heat beautifully! The sizzle stays the entire time you are cooking. The meat cooks much faster now, searing the outside perfectly while keeping the inside moist. The grease gutters catch the drippings and turn them into smoke. It takes a while to get used to the increased smoke--this used to mean flare-ups, but this is not the case with Mangrates. That smoke is helping to give your food that authentic grilled flavor--even with a natural gas grill like mine.

Mangrates are heavy enough (8 pounds each) that they do not slide around when you are cooking. I will get some movement when cleaning them with the brush, but this is not a problem for me.

Are they expensive? Yes they are. BUT, they are made in the USA, they work as advertised, and they will outlast you if you take care of them. Also remember they are easily moved to your next grill should you need to replace your current one.

Are you a serious griller looking to upgrade your grill? Give Mangrates a shot. I think you'll be glad you did!

Great piece of BBQ engineering. Really happy with the end-result but the path to perfect grill marks was lined with frustration, confusing marketing and me up-selling myself.

Bait, switch, great grate.

If you want to fundamentally change the end-result of inhaling noxious fumes and smoke while your family awaits you cooking up the day's kill---ManGrate is for you. A word (well, several) of caution. Be certain to buy at least two of the grills. When I ordered mine, the one arrived and I started looking forward to the weekend when I could cook up one burger and two buns (in alternating shifts).

You need two to lay out your ManSteaks on at least two ManGrates.

I contacted them and asked why the box showed two grates on it. The reply "We had some old brochures we had to get rid of".

Quality.

Also, I was promised very own Adam Carolla wire brush. DENIED! The ManGrate-branded brush was in the box ready to clean my lonely little BoyGrate. When I questioned the rep, he was silent. I thought best to not overly-explain why I wanted a Carolla brush. I'm ready to promote Adam's show; not so ready to have ManGrate logo's all over my deck.

Fact is, I wouldn't know about ManGrate unless Adam raved about it.

I bought the second one and we're up to $70 or so. Well worth it.
