Recently purchased a new Stok grill for my old Weber kettle. Purchased this to facilitate removing the center section.

It works great! What else can I say. It holds the center grill section like an old dog with a new shoe.

If you get the Stok grill or vegetable pan, you will want this. Other items might do the job like an old screwdriver, hot pad, tongs etc. but this is a well designed item made for the task.

Stok Replacement Cast Iron Center Grill on a Weber Platinum Performer Grill.

I was hesitant on getting this tool but for such a reasonable price what can go wrong? Nothing! I love the fact that this tool is built heavy duty and looks cool. I didn't think I needed to remove the center grate often but now that I have the tool, I use it a lot mostly to move and distribute heat coal. My wife said it reminds her of the tool they used to swap out hot grills at Korean BBQ restaurants. At the beginning I was a little skeptical how securely it would grip the center plate because who wouldn't want sear marks on their feet? I can safely say the mechanism Stok uses passes with flying colors. So cool!

Cheap Grillmark Remote Probe Grill Thermometer

This unit (I have 2) works great.

Long battery life and good transmit distances.

My only wish was that it had dual probes and/or 2 units could

read separately.

Currently I plug in both senders and read them both (multiplexed)

on the receiver. This is a byproduct of how they send and

not (I think) a design feature.

The only problem with this is that you can't set 2 alarm temperatures.

So if you are measuring grill temp and meat temp you can't set

2 different alarm temps.

This unit works much better and is more flexible (with the previously mentioned desire)

than the other units I have tried....Maverick, Webber.....

We have owned this thermometer for four or five years and have found it to be very reliable. The only thing I wish it had was another "Custom" setting that you could enter the perameters for. For instance, say you want something to be done at 125 degrees. You could set it up to show you that. Yes, you can pick a certain meat temp. that closely matches your temp. and that works too. I think this is a great piece of equipment and I wouldn't be without it, especially when grilling/smoking a large turkey in the cold New England weather!

If there was a zero star rating, that is what I would have selected.... Do NOT waste your money on this product. I purchased it and it worked once out of the box second time (week later) it wouldn't sync. Zero degrees. Had to go back to old manual probe. This product was a waste of time and money. ACE coming back this weekend to return it for my money back!

I have always wondered why all of these food kits don't include a real stove! I have reviewed all of these items separate and they all fit emergency kit storage.

First of all the first thing you always want to store is WATER and a water purifier as a back up. See my Puresip review Water One Pure Sip Personal Water Purification Filter

the filter is only a backup.

Comes with a nice bag to push it into a corner or under your stairs.

The butane stove is super easy, I use it on any trip where space is a necessity.

Cookware is decent but throw in some plastic ware and a knife set.

BUY: Butane, Water Fold a Carrier 5 Gal

Just about any dollar store can fill out your kit:

Lighters, Napkins, plastic plates, utensils, advil and assorted medicines

Keep it simple and hope you never need to use it.

If you avoid the zombie apocalypse you can just use it for CAMPING next season, enjoy....Fishgriller approved

PayandPack MBP 03350 Universal BBQ Gas Grill Replacement 6 Outlet Reviews

I found a used Viking Natural gas grill on Craigslist which I purchased as a house warming gift for my brother. The grill had the older style piezo style lighting mechanisms that have a very loud audible CLACK every time you use them to ignite a burner. I hate the clack. I really hate the clack. I purchased this ignitor b/c the 6 outlets & rewired to the burners so it would have the soft 'tick tick ticking' of the electric ignitor (seems appropriate for this grill). I found the same thing at Home Depot for $30 which I ended up returning once I saw this on Amazon for a fraction of the price. It's now 6 months later & the ignitor still does exactly what it was designed to do. BTW, if you are adapting from one ignitor to this, the hole where it mounts will be to be slightly enlarged as this was a little bit bigger & wasn't a direct replacement without making the mounting hold a little larger. I would absolutely buy this again if any of the ignitors fail on my Wolf grill & I'm not so sure that these aren't the exact units already installed on my grill. Don't buy these at the Big Box for 3x the price get it here on Amazon & use the savings on some nice ribeyes.

I have a TEC Char-Broil Grill (Model# 463268407) and the ignition button had rusted out. I called Char-Broil and they wanted 8 times the cost of this ignitor so I took a chance and was happy that this worked. It is not the same shape but I was able to get it installed and working in a few minutes. All six burners now light with no issues!

My ignite function was not working with the dial. This is a replacement for my Jenn Air 720. I was a little worried that it would not fit but I took a risk since the description listed my BBQ. I was going to drill a new hole for this but all I had to do was remove the original battery box and screw this into place. It was a tight fit, but it worked. My bbq only needs 5 outlets so I taped over the one I didn't need. The original function of igniting with the dial is disabled but I am ok with just turning on the gas and pushing this igniter. This is a super good value and showed up next day from Arizona with my prime shipping.Super happy now since I don't have to use a match.

Used this in my charmglow grill. The OEM part was a 4 port but the 6 port works fine. The dimensions are the same for the 4 port and 6 port. Takes about 5 minutes to replace. I have only had it for about 2 months but so far works well.

I was having a hard time maintaining temperature in my Brinkmann electric smoker, and the reason was simple: the smoker didn't have a thermometer. So I would keep lifting the lid to check the meat. Now I know the temp of the smoker, and with an electronic probe thermometer the internal temps of the meat as well. No more peeking, stable temps, better results.

The real question is why doesn't Brinkmann include one? The charcoal model at $50 has one, but the electric at $100 doesn't?!? Dumb.

Don't buy this garbage. It reads 50 degrees low. I went through 2 racks of ribs over 2 weekends to figure it was this thermometer that was the reason for them taking soo long. I went with a maverick digital after the frustration of this junk

My wife had recently got me one of the Mastercraft gas smokers available here on Amazon, and the original thermometer needle dragged the face of the dial, so accurate measurement was next to impossible. I looked at getting the original unit replaced under warranty, but didn't really want the hassle.

Anyway, the replacement is a little larger than the 2" original, but it fits in place of the original just fine. It is very accurate and sensitive to temp changes. I would recommend this gauge for anyone who is having trouble with their current dials.

I ordered a Broil Mate barbecue #155154 made by Onward Manufacturing in Canada earlier from Amazon. I was so impressed by the barbecue that I felt I needed good protection for it, thus purchased their heavy duty grill cover, also from Amazon. The cover is well made (from China) to Onward's design from heavy duty vinyl with a fuzzy cloth backing. To date, ambient temperatures have ranged from over 100° to below 30° and has remained flexible and easy to remove and install. This is important as we use our barbecue year around on the back deck. The cover is a quality companion to a quality barbecue, but will fit any barbecue of similar size.

We purchased this June 1, 2012. It covered the grill outside for the 4-5 months that the grill was outside. Then it was in a garage. It came out again in May and by July 1, 2013 there were cracks on the surface and the vinyl had split away at one of the corners. Call me old fashioned, but I think it should last longer that that!

I purchased this grill cover about a year ago. It was great until winter hit and snow accumulated on it. The weight of the snow tore the cover apart. There is no support for the material from the very top of the grill as it slopes down to the flat part of the grill (working surface). The only way for this cover to survive heavy snow is to gather up the material and put some sort of weight on it (both sides) to hold it down but that hikes up the entire cover by almost a foot so rain, etc., gets into the back of the grill. What I'm saying is the cover should be form fitting.

It covers my grill just fine. The velcro around the sides has kept the cover attached through some very windy and rainy weather. After one Chicago winter, however, most of the black exterior has peeled off. I don't know if the black skin was purely for appearance or if it offered some insulation, but either way I will be replacing it with a different product.

The quality of the product is fine. The spec and the picture matched my old and burnt up plate very well. Unfortunately, this product is 1/4 inch longer than the spec. My old BBQ plate is ~24+ inches. The spec for this one showed 24.8 inches, but the actual length is 25 inches. I don't think exchanging this for another one will help because I think they are all built to the same length. I probably will have to saw off an inch or so at the end. Oh, well.

When I received this item, I was very surprised and pleased at the same time that it was manufactured so well. It is coated with a teflon type of coating and I am sure it will last much longer than the original. It was a fabulous find for the money.

Thick solid metal but was 2" too short for my grill. Had to add some metal to one end reach across. I'm sure it was my own fault. I thought it had some kind of feet to sit on, but it sits on grooves at each end of grill.

Hello.

I received this product today. The bag and box state that there are propane canister holders. However, the bag does not have this. There are velco strips attached to the bag but there is nothing additional in the box or bag and the vecro pieces are all the same so they won't stick together. Was something missing from the box or is this a defective bag?
