You get what you pay for. Zinger is an excellent value. We like the size and versatility. BBQ and campfire in one. We use it camping on weekends. It is heavy to lug around. Really needs two people to move it around. We have purchased smaller portable fire pits but they are smaller. Regarding quality we mistakenly thought because of sheer weight that the zinger would be made in USA. Not the case. Made in china. The black paint burned off leaving blue and white metal. A can of black grill spray paint fixed that. It's a zinger!

Ultimately I returned this item along with a grill chrome grate, due to the fact that the grate was the wrong size, so I opted for a new grill. If you just need the heat plate, this should work, just check it for chips or even coating.

Not too much to say other than it fit my grill perfectly and it's considerably cheaper than the name brand replacement. I use my grill 3-4 times a week and have had no problems with this heat plate. Owned it for 3 months. Much cheaper than the alternative. Ordered a burner from the same vendor and received both parts within 48 hrs under regular shipping. Very pleased with the transaction.

First, this is a great scraper. It's big and heavy, certainly overkill for my 24" griddle (so I love it). It's big enough to handle a commercial hibachi grill. It's actually a NEMCO N55825, and ReStockIt sold it for a good price ($33.74 plus $8.15 shipping).

Problem is, this was listed as "new", but it arrived pre-assembled and without any packaging. In addition, the single page of documentation that came with it indicates it should have come with a 6-pack of replacement blades. It didn't.

After 2 days, the response from ReStockIt was "this is how it comes from the manufacturer" (right), and that since the item description doesn't indicate it includes replacement blades, they are not responsible for those. They did, however, issue me a 15% credit for "poor packaging".

Durable construction and effective. It has a good design and does what it is supposed to. comes apart easily so you can clean or replace the scraper.

Built solid, no complaints on the quality. Design however is questionable. The Razor blade is too sharp and hard, much harder than the grill surface. I don't like it due to the fact its WAY TOO EASY to cut UNREPAIRABLE gouges out of the grill. Even when your being as careful as humanly possible, it develops micro burs on the edge. You'll be scraping along just fine and boom, surprise, now you got a nice scratch in your grill top. The corners of the blade are particularly nasty when it comes to digging in and gouging the surface. I do not use mine for the grill any more, 100X better off sticking with a grill block. If the edge wasn't so sharp and didn't cut so easily into the surface of the grill it'd be a 5star item! Maybe if the edge was filed or sanded it might be more user friendly? Good luck

I received this and it scratched the griddle. The blade on the product was unlevel and has notches in it causing the griddle to be scratched badly. This was given as a gift and I regret buying it whole heartedly.

So far I am happy with my purchase. On the down side it took 2 weeks to get here and when I started it up the gas line had been sliced in transit on the sheet metal parts. However, the good side was their warranty was prompt in replacing the line, which again took over a week. The BBQ looks good, was about $300 cheaper than what was available in my town plus it had 2 other features that the others didn't have ( rotisserie and side burner). My last BBQ was by the same manufacturer and lasted me 10 yrs. When I took that one out of use, it was still working fine, just looked very used.

It took a little longer to assemble than I would have liked. The directions do not alert the assembler to be aware that the base can be installed backwards.

After that snafu it was easy.

Cooks great and I'll get to use the Rotissarie next.

I used some shortening to coat the grids and burned it off to burn in the oil as a protective layer. Wiped off the excess and this grates helped make some great steaks. The heat is evenly spreaded since it is a dome shape design on each of the elements so the inside of the meat is cooked evenly. The tips of the circular shape elements provide some nice grate marks. Once in a while, I would clean it off and apply the coat to keep that protective layer. Good grids!

I was concerned that since it was a bit cheaper than other SS racks that it may be of thinner gauge and would deflect (twist) with heat. It deflects about 1/4 " not bad and I would say acceptable expected. Have had it for a month and is used almost daily (no exaggeration). Sometimes the grill gets up to 500 degrees even then it may be slightly more than 1/4" definitely not more than 1/2". For the price good value.

The gas was not coming through all the little holes (due to rust) so I took the burners apart and poked through each hole. Two months later the holes were clogged again, so I decided to replace the burners. Couldn't be easier! Like having a new grill! Nice even flame again.

The product arrived from this vendor when they promised, the instructions were easy to follow and my Weber Grill was as good as new in about a 1/2 hour. I would go this route again without hesitation.

I know that there are more expensive grills than Weber out there, but the question is, are they built any better? The simple burner system of my Weber Genesis grill is certainly built to last, and give an even grilling temp, time after time, year after year, with very few hot spots. I replaced my burners after five years of use, only to find out that I could have easily gotten more use out of them. The problem I had been having involved the transport of my grill across town to my new house. One of the support brackets had come undone, but I was able to grill for months anyway! Although, in retrospect, a bit dangerous. Thankfully, nothing happened. Having already bought the new burner tubes, I went ahead and installed them, and they worked great (even though my old tubes would have worked fine). Installation was easy, even for someone as "handyman-challenged" as myself. If it's time for a replacement, don't sweat the installation, but give yourself a couple of hours of time...

Overall, this is a great product, if you need a replacement. The best thing about it, is you will hardly ever need a replacement.

I have owned a Silver Genesis B grill for 7 years now, and due to heave use it was getting a bit worse for wear.

This summer rather than buy a new grill since the shell and frame of the old grill were still perfectly good I replaced the flavorizer bars, cooking grate, the starter, and the gas tubes.

The directions are very good, and I managed to get the old, decaying gas tubes out. The older tubes came with plastic insect catchers that have been replaced by built in screens where the tubes connect to the propane gas manifold. This is clearly pointed out in the directions.

I should be ready to cook for another 7 years on this refurbished grill.

The instructions appear to have been written by a non-native English speaker and the diagrams do not quite mesh with reality. That being said, if you can turn a screwdriver installation was easy enough to do in 15 minutes on a Saturday afternoon, and performance was like new. If your grill is as gritty as mine have some degreaser around (WD40 works well) and ample rags. Note that there are two items available with the three-burner set. Check the Weber web site, they will walk you to the correct item number. Should have done this a year ago when the middle burner got clogged...

I purchased the ManLaw Rib Rack approximately two weeks ago from Amazon and have used it three times to prepare great legs and chicken breasts. I marinate all my chicken with Weber sauces and cook the legs for 45 minutes and add the breasts for 30 minutes. The entire ManLaw family of BBQ utensils/tools is the greatest, I currently use their corn basket, potato rack and grill press. I bought this to scrub the water line on my pebble tec pool and waterfall. The brush works good and has good strong bristles. They do not fall out while im scrubing. This is a good product and is just what I was looking for. If I ever have to get another one I would get this again, but I know it wont be for a long time.

Well, I have seen a lot of reviews about this cover being thin which it is, but I do not consider that a negative although the calling it "heavy dute" as part of it's name is misleading.

At this time as it is holding up to repeated wear and tear of taking it off and on well.

I don't know if it would stand up to winters in Michigan, but I don't plan on testing that anyway and it protects well from rain, dust, bird droppings, etc.

It does what it is supposed to do and was inexpensive, so I give it thumbs up.

NOTE: the Amazon description does not include dimensions. On the package it recommends that you measure first. It fits smokers that are 30" (76cm) across (perhaps including handles, not sure) and are 36" (91cm)vertically.

It's a bit big for my standard-sized smoker (about 20" across), so it is unflattering to its graceful curves, but good enough to be useful.

It is cheaply made, but looks like it will be suitable. I will update my report if it falls apart in use (like another reviewer said).

UPDATE (summer 2008) after 3 years of moderate use, the plastic has broken through on top just by sitting on the unit over winter (i.e. I did not cause the damage through improper use).

It is quite possible that a garbage bag would be enough to protect your grill. The main advantage here is that it fits a bit better, and has elastic to close the bottom a bit. It probably looks a bit better, if you care.

The quality of the product is fine. The spec and the picture matched my old and burnt up plate very well. Unfortunately, this product is 1/4 inch longer than the spec. My old BBQ plate is ~24+ inches. The spec for this one showed 24.8 inches, but the actual length is 25 inches. I don't think exchanging this for another one will help because I think they are all built to the same length. I probably will have to saw off an inch or so at the end. Oh, well.

When I received this item, I was very surprised and pleased at the same time that it was manufactured so well. It is coated with a teflon type of coating and I am sure it will last much longer than the original. It was a fabulous find for the money.

Thick solid metal but was 2" too short for my grill. Had to add some metal to one end reach across. I'm sure it was my own fault. I thought it had some kind of feet to sit on, but it sits on grooves at each end of grill.
