There aren't many boat barbecue brands to choose from...I swore I would never buy a Magma again, however I could not find a competitor's model to fit on the rail of my boat. Within the first month the electric start stopped working. This barbecue always cooked uneven, so you must watch closely and move meat around the grill or else one piece will be raw and another well done and burnt. After one year of use I thought I would try and fix the electric start. I needed to screw the burner off, but the metal burner just crumbled. So I had to replace burner too. Once again, the electric start worked about three times before failing. Now I noticed the metal "inner shell" bottom has completely separated, so the whole grill wobbles! Makes me wonder when it will fall apart into a hundred pieces!! After 2 years(always covered) am all ready looking for replacement. Read reviews on Magma's new "infrared" models, they seem to have same problem with the inner shell's integrity. All they changed on these new models is the grill plate and double the price!

Great quality, great grilling, we love it! Highly recommend this product to anybody looking for a convenient way to book on a boat or land.

Great price on time delivery. This is replacing my old magna party size grill. This unit hasn't blown out in the wind yet. But it burns twice the fuel of my old model. One tank gave me two good bbqs. But as long as it doesn't blow out in wind it's worth compromise. One last thing same as old unit it burns real hot on half and not as hot on other half. This can be good if you have some stuff you'd like to cook on lower heat if not this can be an inconvenience.

We first saw a demo of this product at Cal State Fair and bought one there. After using it at home and being so happy with the accuracy and ease of use, we decided to buy one for our 5th wheel trailer plus several for gifts from Amazon. We have not been disappointed.

This little gadget is the best! My experience is 100% positive. I use it especially for cooking fish and for beef, in the oven and on the grill--both are hard to tell when they are done and don't want to be overcooked. Someone gave me this a couple of years ago and it is one of those things I wonder how I survived without. When I asked her where she got it so I could get more she couldn't remember. I have looked locally and described it to sales people whose eyes just glaze over. Finally just now, after taking it out of the dishwasher, on a whim, I googled "fish poultry beef rare medium well color coded thermometer". Amazon to the rescue! I have five daughters/daughter in laws and I am ordering five today. Maybe I will order myself an extra--my husband started washing this in the dishwasher which I am sure is against the rules, so mine may quit. But so far it's been fine!

I was disappointed in this product. I bought it mainly for fish. It did not do the job that I expected it to do. I've used the free ones that Sweet Bay Market gave me and was expecting it to do the excellent job that the free ones did.

Honest reviews on Cooked-Per'fect Complete - Reusable Color-Changing Thermometer

Works great as long as you keep it out of high heat and sunlight. Uses liquid crystal to show temperature color. If you use it on a grill and get it too hot or leave it out in direct sun it will stop working.

The package says you can measure Pork, but there is no labeling for it (probably liability and changing standards issue). I ended up using yellow beef medium to indicate Pork at about 150 degrees (go blue beef if you want the older higher standard).

For grilling I prefer an old fashioned thermometer, but for in the kitchen this works great to make sure you properly cook your food.

I have used the colored plastic reuseable thermometers (Grill-Per'fect) where each one is for a particular food such as poultry, fish, beef. This one not only does them all, but it seems to be far more durable. I ordered this one because 2 out of three of my plastic ones broke where the metal part ends in the handle. Enjoy. Great value!

they were outdoor pillows, but the more I thought about it I thought they might hold up better. There is only one tiny

I am really torn here. On the positive side, this item seems to be of really excellent quality. On the negative side, the description is totally useless, as it is either completely wrong or missing vital information. This situation required multiple phone calls to investigate and clarify exactly what fittings the product contains and its BTU rating, as well as the product's country of origin. Therefore, I'D RATE THE ITEM AT FIVE STARS, BUT I'D RATE THE DESCRIPTIONS AT ZERO STARS, if I could. I guess that will have to average at three stars.

I always prefer to buy items made in the USA whenever reasonably possible. I specifically paid more for this item than other comparable items because the description states "USA" under "Origin". My understanding, confirmed verbally by Amazon, is that this means it is made in the USA. However, the label on the reusable plastic storage bag in which this 21st Century Company product unit is packaged clearly states the product is made in Mexico, NOT IN THE USA.

I called 21st Century's "tech support" to find out why the both the Amazon.com descriptions and the package descriptions were incorrect and/or missing information as to the connection fittings (more on that below), the BTU rating of the unit, and what was, exactly, the country of origin. Their "tech support" was an absolute joke, able to provide no information at all. I found that 21st Century is just a distributor which re-packages the item for retail sale, so they know absolutely NOTHING about the item specifications.

The short version of the long process I went through that I found out that the hose and all of its fittings are actually made by a company called Fairview Fittings and Manufacturing in New York, so they ARE made in the USA. 21st Century's packaging is apparently what is made in Mexico, or maybe they were previously using a product made in Mexico. Fairview's descriptions of its products are correct, so no one seems to know why Amazon's and 21st Century's descriptions are wrong.

So, just to be clear for any of you considering buying this item, the connections stated in the description are not correct. The descriptions state, in two different places, that the hose has 3/8-inch MALE flare and 3/8-inch MALE pipe thread. THIS IS WRONG! The ends it actually has on it for connection to other fittings are the OPPOSITE of the descriptions.

One end of the hose has a 3/8-inch FEMALE flare fitting with 3/8-inch SAE thread to attach it. This end of the hose is what is usually connected to your appliance (in my case, a natural gas barbecue). If you need a connection on the hose for your appliance other than a 3/8-inch female flare fitting, you'll have to buy some combination of adapter fittings to do so.

The other end of the hose is the male half of the quick-disconnect coupler.

This kit also comes with a 2&1/2-inch long fitting that has the female half of the quick-disconnect coupler on one end, and 3/8-inch FEMALE pipe thread on the other end. This fitting is usually connected to your natural gas supply pipe, so again, if you need anything other than 3/8-inch female pipe thread to connect to that pipe, you'll have to buy some combination of adapter fittings to do so.

The gas volume flow this unit will allow should be critically important to you before you purchase it, yet that information is not available anywhere in the descriptions. I found out, directly from Fairview Fittings and Manufacturing's Tech Support agent, that it is rated at 80,000 BTU at 1/2 PSI (or 14-inch water column) gas pressure. My barbecue, for example, uses a maximum of 52,000 BTU if all five burners are on "High" at the same time, and our local gas company says our meter outlet pressure is 1/2 PSI, so this hose assembly should work just fine for me (if not, I'll update this review). However, be sure to check your appliance's requirements (and your gas company's supply pressure on the outlet side of your gas meter) to make sure it will work for your application.

Hopefully this information will be helpful, allowing you to know what you're buying, to be sure you get whatever additional fittings or adapters may be necessary to connect it properly for your application, and to determine if its flow capacity will meet your needs.

It can take more then 5 seconds to get the correct temp, but not more then 10. It works very well and even when I dropped it in a full sink it still worked after.

Bought it from Home Depot for the same price as here--except for the sales tax. Figured I'd spend the extra buck rather than wait. Used it to take the temp of some rotisserie roasted chickens. It works but is slow. About as slow as a bi-metal analog thermometer. So, when it breaks, I'm going back to an analog thermometer. If it won't read the temp any faster, why bother with the digital readout?

In my youth, I didn't know much about grills and bought the poorly built ones that ranged in price from $100 up to $300. What I found was that there are certain must haves and below around $600 only Broil King and some of it's stablemates made by the same company plus Webber have the key ingredients. First, the oven or the big box if you will should be made from aluminum. Grilling does bad things to metal: high heat and lots of moisture. If it's steel it will rust and likely faster than you think. Second, the burners should be made of heavy, high quality stainless steel. Most of the disposable grills that are all over the place, and some are quite expensive, use at best low quality stainless steel for the burners. If you think the oven box takes a beating in grilling, it's nothing compared to what the burners go through. Bank on it, low quality burners are going to last you no more than two years. Third, the grates should be made out of heavy, high quality iron. I know some people like porcelain coated steel. Iron cooks better and my experience is it lasts longer. Fourth, there should be some system atop the burners to diffuse the heat, keep dripping fat from flaming, and protect the burners a bit. The system on the BK is better than the one on Webber. Only Broil King and Webber have all of these in combination. However, for less money than Webber's low-end units, the BK 20 has a better box and much higher btu's. I had a Webber Genesis grill that was the best I'd owned until I got the Broil King. Having said that, the igniter failed pretty earl on with my Webber and it never did cook evenly. The Broil King is hands down better at delivering a more even heat, partly because it puts out more btus. And, my BK hits 450+ degrees in about five minutes. In fact, I have been surprised at how fast it heats up and have wasted a fair amount of propane in the process. The good news is that it has excellent controls and you can get the heat just right in very short order. The shelves are heavy plastic and work just fine and fold down for storage space. If yours aren't working well, you didn't do a good job assembling the grill. The tank is easily accessible. I very much like the lid handle which is made out of a heavy plastic that doesn't get hot. Very nice. The wheels are a bit lightweight, but I've rolled this thing many times in and out of my garage and the wheels show no sign of failure. At this price point I have zero complaints and highly recommend the BK if you're looking for something more than a disposable grill but don't want to shell out the dough for a more expensive unit. And, again, there are plenty of grills at your local hardware store or Lowe's/Home Depot, etc. Other than some Webbers, all the other brands usually have lots of options but the guts are poorly made and it's those basics that are going to make for a good grill.

Now, some reviewers have complained about the packaging and assembly. Here was my experience. I think the Canucks could take a lesson from the Chinese on packaging. Everything in my unit arrived in good shape; but, it looked like a bit of a miracle that way. They could use some more cardboard and tighter packing. Having said that, everything arrived A ok. As for assembly. I'm pretty type A and took my time. I'm also mechanically inclined. It took me about two hours to assemble the grill by myself with the exception that I had my son help me turn the unit upright at one stage of assembly because it was easier than doing it alone. All of the parts were included. The instructions are not the best, but they're a long ways from the worst. On a 0 to 10 scale, with 10 being the best, I give the instructions a 7.5 (told you I was type A.) Take your time and you should have no problems. I also have plenty of tools. Shame on me, but it's been almost five months since I bought the BK so I can't remember all the tools I used that made this a pretty easy job. Nothing expensive. A good, lightweight power drilldriver might be handy, but I don't own one. I recommend a 3/8" drive ratchet with a 6" extension and appropriate sockets, two slotted screwdrivers (I keep thinking I used a short one, but can't remember)or socket drivers (better), good pliers, and some small end wrenches. I'm sorry, but I can't remember all the sizes, but, assuming you don't have a lot of tools around, you can quickly tell which ones you'll need simply by looking at the parts. Pay attention to tightening things when you know you've got a subassembly squared away. I'm making this sound harder than it is.

As always Amazon Prime shipping is fantastic. We received the box pretty much undamaged, but when we inspected the parts the front steel plate under the knobs has a dent in it, and one corner of the lid is scraped up and the black coating is scraped off about an inch long. My husband thinks we should try to get replacement parts because he doesn't like that the dent is really noticible. I am more concerned about the lid because I think it will rust in the scratch.

Thee box was missing the instruction sheet, but we were able to find the manual on the broilking website and use that. We also received an extra part that we have no idea where it goes. It's like a large W shape. We think it would go in the cart area to use to stabilize and hang the propane tank, but there's no where to attach it, and it wasn't shown anywhere in the instructions. We are assuming it was mistakenly put in the box.

It took two of us an hour and a half to assemble the grill. It wasn't very hard, we jus had to figure out a few tricky parts that werent illustrated in the manual very well. We haven't used the grill yet, so I'll post another review once we do.

*** UPDATE ABOUT COOKING QUALITY 5/4/12

We've decided that the minor flaws in the product weren't worth the hassle of having to dis-assemble the grill and ship it back for a replacement. We bought a grill cover and now I'm not worried about the scratch rusting until I can buy some sort of sealing paint to put over it. But we have now used the grill about half a dozen times and it's FANTASTIC! It cooks perfectly. We've only needed to use half the grill at any one time and it's great for that. The food cooks so evenly I think my husband might actually be a good cook now! My only complaint is that the side tables are supposed to be able to come down, but I can't get them too. The piece that needs to slide to be able to lift the shelf off the hook is too tight. It's a minor complaint, and we got a cover designed for a grill that has sides, but it's still a minor irritation for me. Overall though, I'm extremely happy.

Best Deals for Broil King 945354 Crown 20 Liquid Propane Gas Grill, Stainless

Previously had a GreatOutDoors cast aluminum grill that finally bit the dust.

In looking for replacement the retail stores all carried the same Weber,CharBroil,Brinkman,

selection. Cast Aluminum does not rust unlike the cheap stainless steel product commonly found

in today's grills. Also, I could not justify paying more for a grill than I can get a kitchen

stove.

Answer is the Broil King Crown 20.

Large enough surface and warming rack for mid size gathering, lifetime warranty on the oven, 5 years on the burner. Cast iron grates combined with great infinity burner sear the meats and provide the grid marks desired. Temperature is easily controlled and starter works with a simple push of the button.

Made in Canada, or North America sure beats the Asian products provided by the competition.

I have used it several times and guest and family agree they can tell a difference as the meats sear nicely sealing in the juices rather than my old unit which tended to dry out the meats by the time they were actually cooked.

I would buy it again. Four stars due to combination of materials-plastic base, steel box,

just wish base and pedestal had been aluminum also...

Honest reviews on Broil King 945354 Crown 20 Liquid Propane Gas Grill, Stainless

My review is for the Broil King 94924 Crown 20 Liquid Propane Gas Grill that I bought last year.

I did the research on the features that make a good barbecue for the price I was looking for and the Broil King Crown series and the Weber Q series stood out. I went with Broil King because it is a whole lot more barbecue for about a $100 more (at the time I bought it). When I first received this product, there was a minor dent in the metal plate where the knobs stick out. Plus I accidentally broke another part while assembling the barbecue. Broil King was gracious enough to send me both parts even after I admitted that it was my fault for breaking the second! So far I have had this barbecue for a year now and it is built to last. I host a lot of barbecues for a lot of people from my church. Last summer I used my Broil King almost every weekend. Everything still works just as great as when I first bought it. I look forward to using it for many more years to come.

I spent the first 30 years of my grilling life using a charcoal grill; about 10 years ago I received a Charbroil Commercial series grill for my birthday. It took a while to get use to LP, but the convenience made me keep using it. On the list of things I didn't like about the Charbroil grill was how uneven the heating was and the absolute inability to get it hot enough to sear steaks, but I learned to live with it.

We recently added a new second-story deck off our upstairs "game room". It was time for a second gas grill. I was tempted to move my old charcoal grill up on the deck, but for fire-safety reasons decided gas was a better answer. I read everything I could find on LP grills and had all but decided on a highly rated Napoleon grill, but then I talked with a friend of mine who had been in the propane business all his life; he suggested I get a Broil Master. I went back to the online reviews, and through a comedy of errors ended up ordering the Broil King Regal 490, all the while thinking I was ordering the Broil Master my friend had suggested. I didn't catch my mistake until after the grill arrived. I decided I would keep my mistake and hope for the best...

The Broil King Regal 490 has FAR EXCEEDED any expectations I had for ANY LP grill. It heats evenly and quickly reaches searing temperatures I thought were impossible on a gas grill. The rotisserie burner makes a Boston butt or a whole chicken into a fool proof meal with no danger of flare-ups or burning. I cannot attest to longevity, but the grill is made from heavy gauge components that appear to be very good quality. Assembly was trivial, though the instruction manual is pictures only and several of the assembly steps include items that came pre-assembled. The quality difference between my Commercial Series Charbroil and the Broil King Regal are night and day though the price is about the same. I will say that even if the grill were to rust to pieces in a year or two (there are NO signs this might occur) I would likely purchase another one simply because it cooks so well. I can sear steaks and then lower the temperature and achieve rare to medium well without burning or over charring; it is truly amazing!

While I did not purchase an LP grill with the intention of using it as a pizza oven, it turns out to be ideal for the purpose. I received a "pizza stone" for x-mas a few years back, but it didn't fit in my convection oven, and my standard range oven simply doesn't get hot enough to make the stone affective. After cooking on the Regal 490 a few times I realized it would be perfect for the pizza stone. It takes about 5 minutes to pre-heat the stone/grill to 600F on high, then throw the pizza on the stone and turn the burners back to low; a thin crust pizza takes about 6 minutes and has a perfect crust! (I have been reticent to see how hot the grill will actually get, but it gets to 600F in short order, and holds 550F for quite some time even with all the burners on low). Commercial pizza ovens are typically capable of at least 1000F, but most use settings between 600F and 800F. I plan to experiment with different temps with different types of pizza dough, but I am already amazed!

I put this grill together over the weekend and contrary to some online reviews I've seen, I found the assembly to be pretty simple. Assembly manual is all pictures so if you tend to like things explained in more detail, I can see where it might cause some stress. It does take a couple of hours though and you need to take care that screws are going in straight so that you don't accidentally cross thread any of the pre-threaded grommets that are riveted to many panels.

If you take your time and test each grommet to make sure the bolt goes in straight and doesn't bind then you should be fine. I also found that keeping things loose enough to give a little play while assembling helped to align things properly before tightening down.

The grill itself is very heavy duty and seems to be very well built. The box it came in weighed in at a hefty 186 lbs as per the label. This grill gets very hot. Much hotter than my old Char-Broil, approaching 700 degrees with all burners on high. We've used it a couple of times and I am pretty pleased. I cooked chicken on it last night and had to keep it at a very low setting which still produced temperatures of 300-325 or so. I am looking forward to trying out the rotisserie soon which is another nice feature that is not included with a lot of grills.

I've looked at Webers and Broil-King seems to be pretty comparable in terms of quality and sturdiness with along with some nicer features like the rotisserie. I looked at the grills at the big box stores and while they look nice, many of them are made in China and got poor reviews as they rusted prematurely or didn't get hot enough. Broil-King is made in Canada and U.S. and has a solid reputation from what I could tell. Broil-King also has a pretty good warranty at a price point a little below the Webers. This is my first experiment with a higher end grill and so far so good. I'll try to update this review after a few months of use and let you know what I've found.

7/14/12 Update After using the grill for a few months I am still pretty happy with it. I have been enjoying the rotisserie feature and have tried out chicken and a roast beef on it and they have come out juicy and flavorful. I have found out it is a lengthy process though, taking 2 1/2 hours or more for a 5 lb chicken.

From a wear and tear perspective the grill is holding up well. A tiny piece of the enamel cover chipped off after a couple of uses. Probably a minor defect and I've had no recurrences since. Also, I don't think the either the grill grates or flavorizer panels will last much more than a couple of seasons. The flavorizer panels already have significant rust on them and the porcelain coated grates are also rusting somewhat despite my attempts to keep them "seasoned" with oil. However, I have had the same experience with all the other gas grills I've used so the BK is no worse in that regard.

Amazon has worked out a great delivery program with ABF for delivery of items such as the Broil King Grill. ABF called to confirm delivery arrangements and delivered 'on the pallet' as promised without my presence. After I started to assemble the BK Grill I started to feel a little disappointed with the quality of the product. I chose this 699.99 grill over a Weber that I had thoroughly examined locally. The quality was really a concern. However, I have now used the Broil King and have been rather impressed with the quick flame start. The convection/infra-red cooking and the smooth flame. It is early to tell, but I want to say the emphasis may not be on the cabinet but perhaps on the flame. I have been so very satisfied with the cooking experience. Time will tell but in the early weeks of my experience with the Broil King Regal 490, it may satisfy my craving for a quality grill. Accolades to the delivery process through Amazon also.

Honest reviews on Broil King 976184 Regal 490 Liquid Propane Gas Grill with Side

Let me start out by saying that I have been an Amazon Customer for more then 8 years (although being a Texas resident that will change 7/1/12) and have had some issues with the products that Amazon sells but they have normally been cleared up quickly.

That being said I had been looking high and low for a replacement grill for the charcoal unit that I had been using since 2003, it finally wore out. So I thought that I would look for a gas grill and began my search.

I read the reviews on several consumer websites and ruled out any weber gas grills right off the top (over priced junk, been there and done that before) and focused on grills made in North America (USA and Canada) and narrowed my selections down to the broil king units. In reading some of the customer reviews on Amazons web site on this brand I was a little skeptical of the quality but the pluses out weighed the cons and decided to buy the Regal 490.

The grill arrived a day sooner than Amazon had advertized and I checked the box it came in real good looking for signs of damage before I accepted the shipment.

I unpacked the grill in my garage and carried the parts to my backyard patio where the grill would be assembled and used. No visible signs of damage at this stage.

One of the major complaints about the broil king grills were the lack of written assembly instructions, just pictures and no text, I remember thinking to myself the assembly instructions can't be that bad, brother was I wrong!

It was at this stage that I began to notice things were wrong, I found 2 of the three side panels were bent and the paint had chipped of where the bends were, but decided that seeing as the grill was in a reasonably protected area that the bends were not show stoppers and continued with the assembly.

Note find some one to help you at this stage the panels flex all over the place and the next steps require some effort.

It was during the attachment of the side panels to the grill box that the real fun started, the holes don't line up well are in real awkward places, getting those side panels attached to the grill box was frustrating but the best part was yet to come, attaching the base to the sides. First the pictogram's don't indicate which screws go where and you have to think about it for a minute or two to figure it out.

Of course it would have helped if all the screws that were required were shipped with the grill!!!!

The rest of the assembly continued on in the same vein trying to figure out which screws went where and then trying them to go through the misaligned holes.

The sides burner and work surfaces were attached the screws are in a real awkward place and are difficult to install the protective plastic coating in the top of the right side work surface had a 5" inch scratch in it and underneath the coating was a 5 inch scratch in the brushed stainless steel surface (looks real nice, not).

Oh for got about the doors, they both installed ok and the right one works as it should, the left one well it opens ok but when you close it the darn thing falls off due to the missing screws.

Well after 3 hours of fooling around i got the grill assembled and rolled to where it would be used.

Made the gas connections and put the tank in the grill in the designated place, fired up the burners and closed the top to perform the burn-off process per the manual. Noticed a soft popping sound during the process and after the grill had cooled down I check the grill for blockages per the manual and found not. I will have to keep an eye on this and see if it continues or worsens.

Unpacked the cast iron grates to take them into the house to wash them and found out 2 of the 4 grates were broken. The ones that were not broken did not want to fit in the grill, just a tad to long but if you work with them long enough they eventually fit.

Cooked a couple of burgers on the grill and they turned out well, where the grates came in contact with the meat there were well defined grill marks, the rest of the meat was a nice shade of grey.

I have real mixed emotions about this purchase, I have owned may grills over the past 45 years and this is not the worst nor is it the best. I thought that buying a grill made in the USA would yield a better product and I was definitely wrong about that. This grill is barely better than those made in foreign sweat shops.

I am going to use the grill over the weekend and if anything else goes wrong I will disassemble it stuff it back in the box that it came in and request Amazon take it back.

Bottom line its better than average but not great.

Update# 1 05/21/2012 -

Well Amazon came to the rescue again, spoke with a CSR on Saturday and explained about missing/broken items and they indicated that the replacements should be here in 5 business days. No hassles, no arguments and the the CSR actually spoke English! Imagine that.

After using the grill all weekend it has proven to be a winner from the performance perspective, it does get hot and retains its heat.

Grill came, as with other reviewers set up was a bit challenging, but doable. Several days after I purchased it a higher model that I originally wanted, but that was price-wise out of reach, went on sale. The difference between this grill and the one I wanted are some stainless steel parts. I contacted Amazon to ask if they would sell me the stainless steel parts, I was told that they cannot do that and I should call the Manufacturer.

When I called Customer Service at Broiler King in Canada I had to wait close to 30 min. when I got a person my request was met with a patronizing tone. I was told yes I can buy these parts from them at much higher prices than the model that is on sale. This made me recoil as it raised the issue of monopoly for spare parts, an issue that will come up during the lifetime of this grill. I intend to use a grill at this price for 7-10 years.

I had researched grills and decided on this model due to the high heating feature and the uniform burners. The heating is high, the burners are not uniform, they heat better in the rear of the grilling surface than in the front. Gas is leaking from the connection to the propane tank, takes considerable tweaking to stop the leak.

I am now also concerned that no big store carries this model and Amazon does not carry spare parts by themselves. Am seriously considering returning it, which in itself is a major headache, unlike returning a grill to a local store. A local store furthermore would have assembled the grill. At this price tag I should have considered all these points before the purchase. Lesson learned stay away from products that are not carried by other stores!!

After 5 or so seasons the interior parts of my grill were corroded to the point where the burners were coming apart and the grill was nearly impossible to cook with because the burners no longer cooked unevenly. The screws were so badly corroded that I had to cut them out with a cordless drill and a rotary tool to remove the original burner. Nonetheless, this replacement dropped right in and 7 screws and 5 minutes later I could see even blue flames from the burners. This part saved me from spending hundreds of dollars on a new stainless grill and saved my grilling season this year. The material finish is not the pretty brushed stainless (even though the burner is hidden under the heating plates) which is the only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star rating. My ignitors were corroded out so that is my next project, hoping they'll be a slam dunk like this one.

I've had my Sonoma grill since 2005 and have replaced the burners 3 times now. First two times were under warranty which covered them for 5 yrs. The construction is heavy duty enough but that crossover tube burns out and splits way too often resulting in uneven cooking and flaming at that location. When replacing I just begin with the Dremel because the first three screws must be cut out or slotted for a screwdriver. This replacement really should come with some replacement screws! I'd be a lot happier if these things would last longer. Have not had a problem with corrosion on the 3 burner bars, just the crossover.

this product fit perfect and works like a charm I would buy this again for my grill as it was just like the original.

Better fuel efficiency and heat distribution than my old burners. Should have replaced them 10 words ago, but three more words are required. Good burners!

Arrived super fast

This part is difficult to match on my jennaire bbq grill. The info on the grill lists this part number but there is another part that is similar with the notch at the end. These were not the right part but we were able to drill a matching hole in the grill to make it work. Excellent quality pleased with them. I don't think its this sellers issue about the confusing parts, I think that's a jennaire issue. Just make sure if your current burners have the notch on the end or set back a half inch or so.

Have not been able to use our grill since last year. The burners for this grill are normally between 70 and 90 dollars each. We got all four for less than $100! And they work great. We did make sure we measured our part like they advised to make sure proper fit.

The burners are the correct size for a Jenn Air 720-0010, but the locating pin on the end is not in the correct location for this grill. Luckily, I had the tools available to enlarge the holes in the grill enough to make them work. They may be perfect for other grills, but not for this one.
