Got this for a good price compared to other places, $60. The product was a direct replacement or my costco purchased Sureheat Tuscany grill SGR30MLP. Shipped within a day or two and got it within a week. Have to say that I expected more from the grill then having to replace the burnt out burners after only two years. Won't recommend the grill. Hope these last a bit longer. The flavor bars are just as bad and will need to be replaced.

To replace the burners you have to take off the front inside housing because the burners are placed underneath it, which could be difficult because the six or so screws are probably corroded, like the old burners. Use a socket not a screw driver. The burner comes with the two replacement electrodes for the starter and you have to put them on the burners themselves, but that is rather simple. You will need to take a piece off your old burner, the deflector plate, to put on the new one. Good luck on those screws also. When I was done, fired it up and receive a new blue flame for my troubles.

After shopping around online, i found this replacement burner setup for significantly less than other vendors. Based on the overall positive reviews, i decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. The burner came with no instructions at all, but using removal of the old burner as a template, it was really easy. When i removed the old burners (way overdue for change) the support bracket the burner and deflector mount to fell apart at the mounting holes. Because of this, I had to become creative in mounting the new burner (not Music City's issue). What I did was use 2 1" L-brackets. I purchased small bolts/nuts/lockwashers and bolted the new L-brackets and the old deflector to the burner using the outer 2 screw holes. I then marked and tapped holes in the back wall of the BBQs support wall and mounted the burner using the provided self-tapping screws.

Some reviews mention the installation is difficult, which it really is not. If you do not need to customize due to the BBQ being in poor shape, it is:

1. Remove all 3 grid sections

2. Remove all 3 deflectors sitting over 3 burner sections

3. Remove warming rack that sits above the grill (this gives you all the room you need to get the old burner out and new burner in easily.

4. Remove the 3 screws holding the old burner in place (mine had rotted out which led to mod above)

5. Disconnect ignition wires from old burner.

6. Remove old burner by gently pulling it up and back to get the front of the burner off of the gas feeds at the front of the grill

7. Mount the electrodes and provided deflectors onto the new burner with screws provided (I only used 1 each so I had 2 left over for mod)

8. Slide new burner into place making sure all three burners are on their individual gas feeds

9. Install ignition wires on new electrodes (I found this easier to do before burner was screwed in place)

10. Test burners and electrodes by trying to light grill (better now than after it is screwed in place).

11. If all is good, screw burner and old deflector (from original burner) into place on support leg of grill.

12. Re-install deflectors over burners, grids and warming rack and you are done.

This whole process took less than 30 minutes, using a screwdriver with a 1/4" bit, and using a cordless drill to tap the new holes I used to mount using L-brackets. I also used the 1/4" bit in a cordless drill to drive in some of the screws, but it is not a necessity.

I was surprised to find a replacement for my Costco Tuscany (Sureheat) grill SGR30MLP. I live in SoCal and I got it THE NEXT DAY with the free super shipping. It's a direct replacement to the easily corroded steel burners. Stainless steel grills have skyrocketed and I am now taking better care of this grill so it will not rust anymore. I called Sure heat and ordered a new cover for it. DO NOT put the cover on the BBQ useless it's 100% cooled down or it will shrink and begin to crack.

STOP BY THE HARDWARE/MARINE SUPPLY STORE AND PURCHASE self taping stainless steel screws to remount the burner back into the grill and to other burner parts. The supplied screws WILL NOT attach to other parts unless you use a drill with hex head attachment and a lotta pressure.

The burners attach only at the back of the grill. It is not necessary to remove any sheet metal at the front of the grill as the burners simply slide in and out at the front.

David Stantana (Burlingame, CA) makes replacement stainless steel flavor grids for $20 ea. His eBay link is above. Includes the grid that is shaped differently next to the IR burner. You will never have to replace you're flavor grids again!!! I would not of kept my grill if it was not for his replacement grids that are the weak point of this grill. Gotta keep this grill covered or the base will rust really fast.

Thanks for the feedback on the stainless steel burner replacement. Since we paid $400 for this grill in 2007 it's been right on our budget. We bought this from Costco as: Tuscany SGR30M aka: Tuscany SGR30MLP. It's made by sureheat in GA. I did reach them today (800-229-5647) and discovered I almost purchased the wrong parts since I did not look at the model on the BBQ door. After 20 min of hold time I didcovered they still make replacement parts but did not order them. They also took down the website for BBQ's since they only make parts now.

This is the Cheapest buy for a stainless steel replacement burner. I found replacement "flavor grids" in stainless at an eBay site for $20!! @

The only part I can not find yet is the stainless "flavor grid" next to the infrared burner on the far right (inside the grill). It has a different shape than the two on the left. There are 3 total. Stainless grills are crazy expensive right now. Glad to find better than new quality replacement parts. If you do have to order new parts from the Mfg'r Costco said they will order them for you if you bring the Exect Store Mgr your order sheet and payment. The MFG'r does not charge Costco shipping since it will ship on their truck. These grills are no longer made. order parts while their still available.

Rather than send the whole thing back, I bought new screws at the local hardware store. The screws were NOT an easy match, and I had to improvise using smaller bolts with nuts. I have an 18" Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker. I found that I was using it less and less because it was so labor intensive to keep the fire going, and at a consistent low temperature for such items as pulled pork, ribs and brisket. I was constantly attending to it and could do little else during the cooking period but tend to the smoker. Even with all of that effort, I was not able to obtain consistent results. So, my son gave me the IQ for Christmas, and I just got around to trying it out. It is so simple to attach and use. Yesterday I cooked two 5 lb. chickens on the lower grate and three racks of St. Louis spareribs on the upper using this device. As per recommendation, I started with one chimney full of unlit charcoal along with a half chimney full of lit charcoal. The IQ quickly brought my smoker up to my setting of 225 degrees and maintained it effortlessly for the five hour cooking period. Both the ribs and the chickens were some of the most succulent barbecued meats I have tasted. This thing brought my outdoor cooking up to an entirely new level. This is an essential device for anyone cooking low and slow with charcoal. It receives my highest recommendation.

I have been using mine for the last year. I cant say enough good things about this little unit. I have it attached to my Weber Kettle for doing low and slow cooks for ribs, brisket and pork shoulder. Put your coals in and start them up with a weber or 3rd party ignition cube, make sure the vents are all closed and let the ique110 do the rest. This thing holds the temperature in my grill nice and steady for as long as I need to cook. No need for any water pans to help keep the temperature down or messing with vents.

I previously tried doing my low and slow cooking with the smokenator 1000 but i was constantly having to open the kettle to either put in more coal or more water and always opening the vents more or closing them. This helps reduce the amount of coals used during your cook which allows you to cook longer. I think the longest I have went before having to put more coals in with this is around 14 hours at 225 degrees.

Only suggestion I would make if you pick one of these up is to get a second probe with it. The sensor on this does not like going over 500 degrees and I left mine in when I switched over to doing burgers after cooking a pork shoulder and fried the probe. Then had to wait for a replacement to get shipped. Now I have two just in case one dies or I over heat the grill (though after that mistake I doubt I will leave it in the pit again)

I love this thing. I first saw Alton Brown use it on TV and since I had a Weber Kettle grill I bought one. I've used it twice on the Weber and the only thing I didn't like was it heated up when having to open the grill cover in order to spritz my ribs. I have since built a smoker with a seperate firebox so now I can open the cooking area and not fill the firebox with fresh oxygen which makes the fire go crazy. The smoke coming out of the firebox keeps the air from going down into it. Anyway this little item will honestly hold the temperature right where you set it and you can walk away. I have found that it is best to start the fire low with only a few charcoal briquets burning and let the unit bring it up to temp. If you start with a whole chimney of blazing hot charcoal it takes a lot longer to bring the temperature back down. I also use a temperature probe with a remote so I can monitor the temperature of the smoker and the meat from under a shade tree with an ice cold beer. Hey at least I can admit that I like to eat pig even if I am starting to resemble one. The smoker also makes top notch chicken and beef brisket. Highly recommended if you like to cook low and slow, as long as you have the patience to let the smoker do it's job over several hours.

I have two IQ110s and will have another by next BBQ season. I compete on the KCBS circut and use the 110 exclusively. It is a flawless performer and way less expensive than the alternatives. Using this device, I can cook a whole brisket on a Weber kettle grill with less than a half bag of charcoal. If you buy one, you won't be disappointed!

I was trying to decide between a Weber Smoky Mountain and a Weber One Touch Gold 26.5 and finding this accessory allowed me to buy the One Touch with confidence that I'd be able to smoke in it effectively. What a find.

So far I've smoked baby back, KC spare ribs, and pork butt in my One Touch Gold and didn't have to buy a purpose built smoker. With this purchase, I'm actually going to retire my gas grill entirely since I can now grill and smoke using the same kettle.

My temperature probe failed after just a few smokes (the IQ just started blinking green and red and the fan would never turn on). I emailed the manufacturer and they asked me to mail them back the temperature probe and after a couple of weeks (and a reminder email) I got a replacement.

It's back up and running again... hopefully this probe lasts longer than the original.

Ordered this grill/smoker after looking at all the makes and models of pellet grills. Traeger appeared to be the best. Arrived on time. Assembly was quick and easy. Three bolts in each leg, four to hold the burner/feeder assembly. Note: the item pictured, and the one I received is the Junior Elite. Bronze door, and Thermostat Controller (BBQ155). Title seems to suggest it's the Junior, with the controller upgraded (BBQ055).

Fired it up for initial burn in, as per instructions. The instructions are very good. The unit heats up quite fast (remember, it's burning wood, not Propane). Do not expect it to get to 450 degrees in 1-1/2 to 2 minutes like a propane grill, but within about 5 minutes or so, it can be there. Smoking temps are achieved very fast.

The digital thermostat is a must have. I can't see going to this level of grill, and using the three speed controller. Set it to desired temp, and the grill controls fuel and air to accommodate.

This grill is the small model, but don't expect a lightweight. It's 68 lbs. Nice heavy duty construction. Should last a very long time. 15" X 20" grilling area, is big enough to put a couple Briskets on. Lay out, two full racks of ribs, or use a rib rack, and do even more than that.

Comes with a recipe book to get you started. I did order the optional front shelf. (Traeger should make the shelves part of the package, not an add on.)

If you like pulled pork, Beef BBQ, and the great smell and flavor of cooking over wood....don't delay. Order one of these. I'm 100% satisfied with mine.

I ordered this about a week ago at $299 plus $49 shipping and had it in about 7 days including weekends. As one of the reviewers notes, it is the Junior Elite with thermostat and bronzed doors.The pic is not accurate. Very happy about that given price compared to Traeger.com and the digital thermostat is a must. Well packed, nothing missing. Good quality, except rather thin metal. Ways around this and other stuff on pelletheads.com. There's much to learn about these things. Set-up was about 4 hrs because I added lawn mower wheels, 7 and 6 inch as described on a You Tube video. Very happy I did this, although added $50 or so to cost, plus drilling the 1/2 inch holes was a pain with a hand drill, but I did it. Measuring where to put the holes on the lege without holes for 6 inch wheels tricky. In the end level and up a bit higher, which I like alot. Followed all directions for start-up and no problems. Definitely get a good cover for it if left outside. I got a Weber for $50. I'll get a hopper extension soon, about $65....

Been smoking meat for some 20 years on various smokers and wanted one with less tending. Been wanting a traeger for many years. At this price it is a great deal to get into pellet smoking/grilling. If you have $1200 or so, get a Yoder or something. You can get just about anything on Amazon, better prices than stores, great service....

Best Nomex High Heat Gasket with Adhesive Upgrade Kit for X-Large Big Deals

At time of purchase (6/11/12), there were 3 reviews, all 5*. On date I installed it, a 2* review was posted saying the Nomex gasket failed at 700+ deg. F. I had an installation issue surface, and contacted High-Que to seek their input. This Company offers excellent customer service. Technical support fully resolved the technical issue to my complete satisfaction. We also spoke about the review saying the gasket fails at 700+ deg. F.

First, I was advised they had a few gaskets fail at extreme high heats . . . high 700's to 1,000+ deg. F. In addition, there may be other contributing factors such as someone propping open the BGE top with something metal (like tongs) which transfers direct high heat to the gasket, resting an extremely hot pan/pot on the gasket, or long periods of time at extreme high heat as the person got distracted by something such as drinking a few beers to many. Importantly, they're not aware of any premature failures at temperatures of 650 deg. F or below. I came away with a view that this gasket is considerably more heat resistant and durable than the factory felt gasket but not fail proof under certain conditions. If you're thinking of installing this gasket so you can grill at 750+ deg. F temps for 15 minute cooks or more, and you're expecting this to be a long-term gasket solution, you're probably going to be disappointed.

Concerning the installation of this gasket. It is simple to install but a messy, time consuming job. Most of the time is spent cleaning the old felt remnants and adhesive from both rims. The video shows a dirty rim being scraped and then it morphs to a very clean surface just before acetone is applied (I don't think the rim got that clean using a scraper). I didn't think the acetone removed the old adhesive very well. I tried a little 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner (#08984) on a scrap piece, and it seemed far easier to remove the old adhesive as compared to using acetone. However, I decided to follow directions since unsure if the 3M product might leave an invisible residue that might interfere with the adhesive of the new gasket (suspect it would not especially if wiped down afterward with acetone). One tip not made clear in the directions or video is to either have someone tilt the top or have something to prop open the top to prevent it from slamming shut when starting to apply the gasket at the rear Spring Assisted Band. If not done, the tiny space at the rear mechanism makes it difficult to slide in the gasket (or run risk of it getting bound up or stuck incorrectly). Also having a pencil handy when over laying the gasket where the seams meet allows a pencil mark to be made on each side of the gasket creating an imaginary line for using sharp scissors to make the angle cut so the seams perfectly align with one another.

My wool gasket was black and shriveled within 4 times of cooking on it. Needless to say, I was frustrated with it. Rather than go back to the dealer for more of the same, I came across this high temperature gasket that promised better performance than a wool gasket. So far so good. And installation was a breeze unlike some of those other seals that require you to buy a spray adhesive.

I opened the grill for the first time yesterday. It was easy to set-up, took less than a minute. I used the grill for tailgating at the Chicago Bears game. Cooked brats on the grill and it worked perfect. I did look around at the other grills that were being used and I have to say the space/capacity on this one exceeded the other grills that were being used. The main difference, literally, was having a top for the grill or not. If you're ok without a top, this is a perfect grill for tailgating or any other grilling activity.

These gloves are great. My main concern is that they would fit my large hands, and they do. They have a soft lining around the hand area that makes them very comfortable. The glove length is great as I have burned my arm hair numerous times while grilling, so these cover that as well.

Fit and all is great, but how do they hold up to heat? Well, I have used these about 4 times already and I noticed something on my last grilling session. I was using these gloves on my dominant hand as I was moving things around the grill with my metal tongs. I never felt a bit of heat, but when I went to switch hands for a second and grabbed the tongs with my un-gloved hand...the tongs were too hot to hold.

Purchased one of these from Lowe's in late April of 2008 as a close out for $18.00 to fit a new CharBroil Commercial Grade grill (also from Lowes) Grill is fine, cover is a piece of crap and CharBroil's customer service is worse.

1. Faded badly in a few weeks in a mid New England spring and summer.

2. Velco straps actually stick to the cover instead of the opposite strap and when removed tear the cover.

3. Fabric is shreading and separating so much that you can see your hand through it in places. Not water tight any more, obviously.

That's the good news!

The bad news is Char-Broil's NON customer service -

Instead of being apologetic for selling me a piece of crap, their warranty policy is and I'm not making this up, checked 3 times, is to replace the cover if again I'm not making this up -

1. I have the original BAG and all packing material

2. Have sent in the warranty card (there was none in mine)

3. Have the original receipt

4. Return it to them at my expense and then they will replace

Who really wants to do business with a company like this?

I have notified Lowes and as I'm the sales manager of a 200 unit adult community I'm asked for recommendations about all kinds of items all the time Char Broil is certainly NOT on my list anymore if this is the kind of attitude they have.

Let me echo the other reviewer here and urge all to stay far away from this "cover". It fades, tears, and offers little in way of protection. Very poor quality and construction, even when used carefully. It was ready to replace midway through its first summer...Deserves less than 1 star. Find something better...

not sure what is up with all the bad reviews here almost didn't buy this thing, but i'm glad i did. this is a perfectly fine grill cover and doesn't deserve all these slams. maybe product's been upgraded since some of these older reviews were written?

it's not the cadillac of grill covers, but it costs ~$15. let's be realistic here.

imo, it's an excellent value. not sure what more you can expect for this amount of waterproof fabric for $15. fabric seems very durable. no indication this'll tear unless i'm careless with it. well sewn. has big velcro ties at each end. the velcro does not stick to the fabric at all. i'd agree the color is more olive green than sand personally, i like the color.

i have another Char-Broil grill cover (which costs more) that is lined. this version isn't lined. just a big sheet of fabric textured on the outside, smooth on the inside.

maybe i'll revise my opinion in a few months if it fades or tears as people suggest, but i doubt it.

The color has faded over the course of one year and has two tears in it from what I would consider normal use.

I found this grill cover to be great for the price. It held up against the weather to protect the grill from dust, debris, rust through the summer and winter. It is a simple product that does what it says it will do.

I found a Brinkmann Pro series 2500 for free that had the burners and heat shield rusted out. I found replacement burners for a great price, but the heat shield was very expensive for the exact replacement which should be a 2 pack of 12"x12" (12"x24" total aprx). So I looked for alternatives to the exact replacement. I found this which is 16 3/8" x 12" for each shield. So I figured I could turn it sideways and use 1.. It is a few inches short, but does cover 3 of the burners if slid all the way to the side, which is perfectly fine for me. And I have an extra one laying around as a spare! So considering I paid 15$ for a pack of 2, when the exact replacement was closer to 60$ on amazon, I think it was a great deal.

They also arrived quickly and in undamaged condition.

These were to replace rusted out heat sheilds in my grillthey were pretty close on the measurements, but were a bit tight to fit. So I just used a grinder to grind down the tight spots and it fits perfectly. Grill is as good as new.

Ordered this because it was an inexpensive way to keep my old grill going but was happily surprised when they arrived quickly (way less than the estimated arrival time) and they weren't porcelain coated steel, but stainless steel. I figured porcelain coated steel would would rust out like the originals did so I'm hoping the stainless proves to be more durable for such a tough environment.

These are wrong dimensions for the grate. The grate is actually 17.5 inches in diameter not 19.5.

This is the correct grate for my little Weber charcoal, non-gas BBQ. Previously I had replaced the grate with a model sold by Home Depot that did not fit correctly, and was not chromed. This one fits and has a decent chrome finish.

This grill cover was by far the best "bang" for your buck. It is much thicker than other grill covers which I liked and if/when the cover starts to fade, you can flip it inside out and get twice as long out of the life of your grill cover.

We purchased a new 6 burner grill and the only thing missing was the cover.. I started looking online and came accross this reversible cover. I highly recommend this cover! It is heavy duty, has strips to close it tight at the bottom to pervent wind and weather and great quality!!! So overall a GREAT price for QUALITY!
