This is a very good pot fork, but be warned it would be a better BBQ fork than an indoor cutting fork. Good quality but not a 6 1/2 inc for more like a 12+ pot fork to be used over a hot bed of coals. Well worth the price just takes a lot of space in my knife drawer.

One little detail not included: The tang section is 6 1/2 inches long. Overall, the fork is closer to 12 inches. However, well made but not what I was looking for. Returned.

The plastic used to make this product is so thin, that when we unfolded & used them for the first time, they leaked in the corners where they were folded. 90% of the 15 water carriers we ordered leaked. Unfortunately, we were camping in a remote location and it would not have been feasible for us to carry them back... We are extremely disappointed in the product. We had ordered these before and they were made of a thicker, much more durable plastic.

I took a gamble on this since the reviews are so mixed but it worked perfectly for our weekend long camping trip. We hung it from a tree and used it as a sink for the whole weekend. We experienced no leaks at all and it will be great for our next trip too. One word of caution it weighs between 50 and 60 pounds when full. Really. Be ready and know your water source!

I always like larger brushes than those crummy narrow things you get at big box stores. While I like the replaceability of the brush head, the retainer is crap. The brush comes out too easily. Some duct tape may help.

It seems that Charbroil Brand does not make the wide Hawg XL Brush any-longer. After much searching for a comparable wide grill brush I decided on the GrillPro 77656 brush. The brush is sturdy, cleans the grill with ease and comes with a spare replaceable head. The only reason this brush does not receive 5 stars is due to the lack of a scraper on the brush itself. The scraper is useful for those tough stubborn charred pieces on the grill that the bristles have a hard time with. I must say I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of these spatulas. Living in a small town, selection in stores is very limited, so I thought I would get these for replacements for my favorite (deceased) kitchen spatula while I looked for something better. No longer looking. These spatulas are lightweight, but surprisingly sturdy. They have a nice long and very thin blade perfect for turning eggs over easy, for example. I am using them strictly for the kitchen, so can't rate them for grill use. The handles are a bit shorter than some grill utensils, so may not be for everyone and every use, but perfect for my large fry pan on the kitchen stove.

I guess the other reviewer didn't like the handle. The handle is fine to me. It's same as those stainless steel serving/cooking spoons restaurants use.

The quality of the spatulas is super awesome. I already have one stainless steel spatula but wanted to have a backup. For this price you usually only get one so I'm sure I don't need to write too much about the price as you already know this is a good deal.

It said commercial grade and it's true. I used to work in a kitchen after my culinary school. This spatula really has the same or better quality they use at a professional kitchen.

It is not super flexible but it does have some flex in it. I accidentally bought a real flexible spatula before and I couldn't do a thing with that. I couldn't even cut eggs with it, it was that flexible. This one is flexible enough yet I am still able to cut eggs or hams and stuff.

Only thing though... it had stickers on the back of the handle and it was not easy to take off. haha

I should have paid more attention to what the pictures look like. The handles are mostly flat with edges pretty much the same as the spatula head, so not very comfortable in the hand. And they are not nearly as flexible as I had wanted. They are serviceable enough, so I won't be returning them, but I wouldn't buy them again if I had to replace these for any reason.

The item description is very wrong, this hose is not 1/2" in ID diameter, its only 3/8" ID (Inside Diameter very important).

I bought this item to connect my 6500w generator based on the item description and some other reviewer who said it worked with his/her 7000w genny, very wrong! misleading info, this item will only supply 92000 btus for Natural gas. If your gennerator is 9HP or less then you will be fine, remember 10000 btu for every 1HP, but if you have more than 10HP then stay away from this item...

Now i have to keep this item home as its a huge waste to send it back and pay atleast $10 in shipping...

These replacement heat shields have worked out great. Much cheaper here than from Charbroil or many other grill part web sites. The coating also makes for an easier cleanup. The shape is a bit different than the original shields that came with the grill several years ago, but this didn't affect installation or performance in any way.

Product is well made and strong. Good material. Coated so easier to clean. Only reason I did not give it five stars, the little cut outs were too narrow to fit our bbq, but we managed to fit them in. Would suggest to mfg to widen them a little to fit the varying degrees of the part inside the bbq these must match.. Our old ones had totally deteriorated so it was nice to find a replacement at such a excellent price. Very happy with these, do recommend them, and would buy again.

These are affordable and seem to be a reasonably good replacement for the factory Charbroil parts; maybe my Charbroil unit has deformed a bit due to years of heat but these didn't just "drop" into place like I'd expect. They had to be bent a bit to git the grooves to line up with the appropriate place on the grill. I hate to have to do that since it can crack/chip the enamel coating which probably reduces the life of the heat shields.

Then again, for this price, I'll get several more years out of the grill and that's a much better deal than a new grill.

These replacement burner tents were better looking than the OEM items...and nearly fit as well. The fit was a bit loose, but they set on all the rests just fine. Did I mention the price was unbelievable? Nearly a quarter the cost of the OEM parts.

This grill is a great value for the price. It was difficult to put together...but my fiance and I did it in about an hour with minimal tools. The thing that scared us was how "simply" the gas connectors go together....when you're dealing with sealed connections and combustible gasses, I get nervous. However, all the pieces came together and work properly.

This grill is definitely not the best constructed, but will get the job done for a few seasons (3-4 is my guess), with proper cleaning and maintenance on a regularly used grill.

I am a veteran of having owned 4 different grills, always these smaller, lower end grills, and I have put together many different items for household use IE kid's bikes, cabinets that needs some nuts and bolts for assembly, etc. Here's all I gots to say-if you had difficulty putting this together, you probably dont' do too many diy projects, this was the best organized diy project I ever had, or durned close. The nuts, bolts, washers, pins, etc rather than being mixed together in one big baggie, are all in separate compartments and so are therefore impossible to mix up. THe instructions are clear and concise, in fact, my 18 year old son put together 3/4 of this grill, when I got home from work I helped out with the last bit. I had warned him, based on reviews either on this site or other reviews of this grill elsewhere, that the instructions might be difficult and hard to understand. EVEN MY SON, who is intelligent but nowhere near as experienced as I am, told me 'dad, this thing is extremely well organized, I don't know what you were talking about'!!

So anyway, just read the instructions, that's what they are for. There may be one or 2 misprints but that is par for the course with home assembly items. I hazard a guess that the people who had trouble putting this together haven't put together many items. If you don't know which way you have to turn a screwdriver to tighten (righty tighty, lefty loosey), maybe you shouldn't attempt this, but for normal people, it's well organized. AND it grills evenly, also. My igniters even work, so far I love it. Yes it's a lower end grill, what the heck do you expect for close to $100??

I could not figure out why this grill was so flimsy feeling while assembling, until I got it complete and ran out of parts. I found a broken weld. All welds are just poorly made tack welds, along with three different size threaded screws, which are very close to the same size and pitch. Some are standard, some are metric. Be very careful selecting and starting each screw and have extra on hand to replace poorly made threads. Some Wing Bolts broke and needed to be replaced with a real screw. Yes I just used my fingers. Not worth the hassle of returning at this point, I will brace the intersections at ALL BAD, and broken welds. Seems to ignite and heat well. Picture at link below.

The grill works fine and it is a lot of fun BUT when it arrived it was not in a box or even wrapped in plastic.We had to touch it up with black paint because it was terribly scratched.I have never received anything that wasn't 'packaged.'Also,it is very very heavy so you need to be able to lift it and place it in a hole with concrete mix.Other than that,it is a nice grill.

Are you kidding me we have been ordering these grills for two years, we have tried others but nothing comes close to how good this one is... we look after 70 homes and if the owner wants a bbq for their house I order them one of these.. I went from a gas bbq myself to this one, it is fantastic.. would not have any other bbq ... you can keep your $500 stainless steel gas bbq ... sure it is heavy but it is made to last .. my first BBQ of the year was January 2nd ... order it, dig the hole to the required depth, cement the post one day using a spirit level to ensure it is straight and then put the top on the next day .. load with charcoal walk away for an hour come back and get cooking easy as that..with a beer in hand you are the man of the house..LOL P.S. I received this Grillgrate three panel kit about a month ago and, due to the lousy weather here in upstate NY, I have only used it about five times. It is everything Meathead (Amazingribs.com) said it would be and then some, great sear on meat, easy to clean, gives cooking temperatures approaching restaurant grills. The only thing I would mention, not a complaint, more of a caution, these puppies get HOT, way too hot to handle unless you have welding mitts! Unfortunately that's the best time to clean them, the residue wipes off easily with a grill brush but collects in the channels between the grill bars, instructions say this is ok to leave since it never touches the food and actually enhances the flavor of the meat, but I didn't like the rancid smell after not using the grill for a couple of days. I reached a happy medium by letting the grill cool for about five minutes and then cleaning it wearing a pair of heavy leather fireplace gloves (have some great sear marks on them now!) I did one panel at a time holding it on end and brushing everything into a metal pan. I still gave the Grillgrates a 5 because the performance more than out weighs the cleaning problem, best grill additions I've come across so far.

Works good prevents flare ups, gives meat good sear marks. The panels come apart easily. 2 can be used on a 18.5in. grill, 3 can be used on a 22.5in. grill. Can be used on propane grills also.

Getting a perfectly seared steak like you get in a steak house on your grill is hard to do. Rarely can you get the coals hot enough for a perfect sear. With the grill grates, this is a simple and easy thing to do. The grates get upwards in the 700 degree range and you get a nice crusty sear every time. Perfect grill marks are another plus. Flareups with the grill grates are a thing of the past. I get great tasting burgers and no more flareups. I would recommend this item to anyone who likes their steaks & burgers with a tasty char & sear.

I can't believe this is not the standard equipment on Weber grills. It should be. I have been using this everyday for more about a month and this is what I have found:

Pros:

1. Grill marks It makes a nicely defined grill marks everytime. Since the rails are flat on top, it makes a very uniform and thick grill line. Absolutely beautiful.

2. No charring Since this sits between the intense flame and the steak, it does not cause any charring. Nice even finish to the steak.

3. Verstatility I have used this for indirect cooking as well. I move the charcoal baskets to the sides and I use one Grillgrate over each basket. I then sear the thick steaks, over 1 inch, on the Grillgrate. I sear it for 5 minutes, then lift the steak and put in the middle of the grill, to indirectly cook it for a few more minutes. I use the indirect cooking time to set the doneness individually depending on the requests of the people I am cooking for.

4. Healthier Since the Steaks are not exposed to direct flame and charring, it prevents the unhealthy part of grilling.

5. Speed You will have to adjust your cooking times because this makes cooking quicker by about 10-20%.

6. Durability These things are virtually indestructable.

7. Grill tool The grill tool that comes win the kit is very usefull in flipping the steaks or burgers and taking it off and putting it on your plate. Very functional indeed.

Cons:

1. Cleaning Although the instructions say just to brush the rails and leave the grooves alone, to remove large chunks from the grooves, you will need to buy a small brass grill brush to get in the middle. it just adds a minute to your prep time, but it is no big deal.

Conclusion:

I used this on my Weber Kettle and it is now indispensable. Never waste or burn your steaks again! Happy grilling!
