I bought this for my generator also as the 3/8" I bought in home depot was too small.

This is the same item and I will have to pay to ship it back.

The item description is very wrong, this hose is not 1/2" in ID diameter, its only 3/8" ID (Inside Diameter very important).

I bought this item to connect my 6500w generator based on the item description and some other reviewer who said it worked with his/her 7000w genny, very wrong! misleading info, this item will only supply 92000 btus for Natural gas. If your gennerator is 9HP or less then you will be fine, remember 10000 btu for every 1HP, but if you have more than 10HP then stay away from this item...

Now i have to keep this item home as its a huge waste to send it back and pay atleast $10 in shipping...
