My main burners tubes in Weber Silver were in perfect shape, however cross over got to be replaced. So I decide to try this tube, since it was cheaper by $5 then original. When I received it, I immediately noticed that it is not an original Weber cross over tube and is bigger in diameter then stated. Had to use dremel to make it fit. The length is true to the size and walls has the same thickness as an original, however cross over holes are not punched as in original, but drilled and they are big, so flame on the side is almost to the size of the main burners. I am not sure how long it will stay, but was lazy enough to initiate return process. Would not buy it again. If you skilled enough to do that job, you can try it. Otherwise spend an extra money to get the original one here in Amazon.

I received the grill with no damage and assembly was not difficult maybe 30 minutes total. All parts fit together very well and the instructions were sufficient. Everything we've cooked on it so far has been excellent. I read that the gas control valves were the best in the business and I have to agree. With 180 degrees of adjustment, there is a lot of control over the output. The grill has the ability to run very hot with the burners on high, but with the burners turned all the way down it will sit at 225 for slower cooking. I also like the separation panels between the burners these allow you to create high and medium heat areas on the grill for cooking different items at the same time. We're very pleased and look forward to years of use.

1st I would like to thank amazon for selling this grill for a HUGE discounted end of season sale. I was seconds away from purchasing the Ducane Affinity 3100 due to the quality of the grill(Weber), and the extensive positive reviews. The Ducane sells for around $400 (LP), so the price for the Broil King was too right to pass up.

I took a chance on the Broil King Signet 20 and I can't get over the QUALITY of this grill. I recieved the grill with no damage and assembly was not difficult.

Overall I would recommend this grill to anyone with a budget of up to $500. The quality is far higher than most competitors for the price. The Signet series comes with porcelain coated cast iron cooking grids vs. stainless steel grids on the Ducane 3100 and Weber Spirit series, so that also weighed in on my decision.

If you are questioning if a Broil King can hold its weight to a Weber, the answer to YES.

Yes, my grill also came with a couple problems from shipping. One of the doors had a broken hinge and the grill grating had 2 broken tines. I called the manufacturer and they replaced the parts quickly. I can't believe Amazon is selling this grill for 288 right now! That is an amazing price for this grill. The heat output on this baby is great, I can sear anything on the center burner on full blast! Love cooking on this thing (even though I paid 300). It's a great grill, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. It's easily on par with a Weber. Get the Classic® Veranda Cart BBQ Cover from Amazon in Large, it fits perfectly.

I bought this grill to replace my old Broil king Crown that was 10 years old. The burner finally rusted through and could not find parts for it anymore. Unfortunately they don't sell this brand anywhere locally other then online. I guess that Weber is thought to be the best, well they aren't. The housing on this grill is nice and thick and heavy gauge forged aluminum "oven". It is very well made. Looks and feels very heavy duty.

Assembly was very easy and took about an hour. Yes there are no words in the instructions, but that is normal when things are built in countries that have multiple national languages. If you have purchased anything from Ikea, you will be fine.

I am very happy with it and plan on suggesting it to many people.

I recieved the package in a very timly manner. It was packed very well. Came with all hardware needed to do the swap. The only issue I had was that the ignitor mounting bracket didnt fit on the burner very well. It seems on the replacement they combined the ignitor bracket mounting holes with the holes used to secure the down pipes to the burner. The OE didnt have removable down tubes and only had the holes needed to secure the ignitor mount. When they combined the purpouse of the hole it seems that the hole is in a slightly different spot and requires mounting it at a slight angle. Use of the ignitor requires several pushes before getting a good light. Whereas before it always lit the first time. This may be from other circumstances, not sure. Either way the product along with some new briquetts has made my grill new again! Product works great, nice to not burn food anymore with a burner that leaks out the top. Probably get another 5 years of grilling from it. If you lay the briquetts out well it makes a very even heat source.

Cons: No screen over air/fuel mixing ports. (bugs can get up in there and affect the mixture.) Fitment of ignitor mounting bracket a little off.

Pros:

Great product, cheap, even burn, came with all extra hardware needed. Installed fast and easy.

Bayou Outdoor fish cooker. I had one for 25 years but it was made in America. twice as heavy in construction as this one and better quality. With that said: it does everything it say it will do but I doubt very much it will last 25 years.Hint, if it is a windy day wrap tin foild arond legs just below the ring so you can control the flame on low. Have used it 4 times and fish have come out perfect. I would have paid 20 dollars more for one like I had. Like other reviews ,put a container of water on it and burn on high for 1/2 hour to burn off the paint, it smells bad and does catch on fire.

The cooker was a great purchase. I used it for our community day. I easily cooked approx. 40-45 lbs of fried fish. This was my first time cooking with propane, but once I got the flame adjusted all went well. The set was very very easy to assemble with only a wrench needed to tighten the screws The directions that are included are easy to read and follow. Pay attention to the precautions re the propane, and also wear protective cooking glove when frying and removing food items from the cooker. Yes I recommend this fish cooker to others.

My only complaint, which is relatively minor, is that I have accidentally pushed one of the buttons on the face while I was carrying it, and it lost its setting (eg rather than cooking Beef, it thought I was cooking Chicken). I have learned to lay it on a countertop rather than carry it, and then it works fine. Ideally, you would be able to lock the input buttons so you can actually carry the device or clip it to a belt as intended. But other than that minor complaint, it has been a joy to use, and the results are better than any other meat thermometer I have used.

I have used it a number of times. On one occasion it would not show a reading despite every attempt to restart or reset the unit. On all of the other occasions where it did work, it worked fine. "Wireless" is not exactly accurate. As are all other "wireless" thermometers, the probe that is inserted into the meat is connected by a cable to a base unit. The wireless connection is between the base unit and the portable unit that provides the readout.

My friend had a similar device and I was quite jealous of him. After doing some looking around I found they tend to go for anywhere from $40-80. I ran into this one for $25 and figured I would give it a shot.

So far works great, have use it with steaks, tenderloins, burgers and chicken. With the first few uses I verified the temp readings of this with my standard thermometer and everything was within about a degree or so.

I did not find that using this for quicker cooking meats like burgers was really helpful at all but when it comes to the longer things like tenderloins it's wonderful!

Easy to set up and get going, it even came with the batteries required to operate it! Cant ask for much more than that!

First, the instructions come on a small piece of paper that is extremely hard to read. The company has told me that they will put a PDF on their website so it can be blown up.

Second, I went to the manufacturer's website and there was no help there for the thermometer. After our discussion, they have assured me that they will adding a Q&A section to help.

Third, The first time I used it the thermometer was off by over 20 degrees, after talking with the owner of the company that the unit was defective, sometimes that happens. They are sending me a replacement at no cost. No one can be 100% perfect, but as long as they make good I am happy.

Even though it took a few hours for the company to contact me, I was very happy with the resolution and the owner was very interested in my feedback and willing to make adjustments to the website.

Honestly, I have yet to try it for the grill. I can say, however, it does not work for a smoker, as the temperatures reached into the upper 300s (after only 15 min of cooking) and my smoker only reaches a temperature of 225 degrees F.

I have tried this product in my crockpot, and it worked fine. I have no ideas why it would not function for the smoker, and I did not try to contact the company. For $21, I do not feel as though I am at a loss....

I admit I only picked this set because of the beer bottle opener. The tools have been used quite a few times and are sturdy. I did put the corn on the cob holders through the dishwasher and the wood faded a bit... but oh well it is going to fade over time. Case durability doesn't seem that great but it works for me since I just leave the case sit out on my bench during the season. Will hide it in the off season. I wouldn't let this case sit in direct sunlight. I wanted a set to include a brush and the metal kabobs will save money down the road. Very nice, and yes the bottle opener does work!

The Camp Chef SPG-90B has been a perfect choice for a camp stove and the BBQ box makes a good combination on top of this 3-burner stove. It is much sturdier than it looks in photos. It sets up in 2 minutes, and really IS portable despite having 3 burners. We wanted to look at one in person, but couldn't find a retailer anywhere in the area so we took a chance on buying this on the internet. Delivery was FAST! However, the photo on the internet shows a rack underneath and the description clearly says that it comes with a rack underneath. FYI It doesn't. You have to buy one separately and it's $20-$30 from other sources. We do not regret this purchase though.

After years of bad steaks while RV-ing on numerous portable grills, I tried this unit. It is very hot! burners will be much hotter than your indoor range, unless you have a Viking professional unit. The grill box blows the doors off my considerably more expensive back yard grill. Aside from the great rare steaks from this very hot grill, I've smoked fish, pork tenderloins & racks of lamb in the grill box. I did a 5# pork loin on easter with Apple wood chips (one burner on low with chips under the grill plate. Pork loin on opposite side with burner off & a foil pan with water under it.) I also purchased the griddle. It is huge restaurant quality short order breakfasts in the campground.

negatives my thermometer also broke. We camp at the ocean, so i am getting some rust. Unit will need occasional touching up. The performance at this price point far outweighs these minor negatives. Back yard grills which can match this unit for performance & output cost at least 3 times as much.

I have had the Camp Chef SPG-90B 3 burner grill for almost 3 years now, and it is still going strong. Every major fair weather holiday my extended family descends on the old family homestead for a few days of fun and family on the banks of the Hiawasee river. We usually top 50 people, and cooking for that crowd can be a chore. With the CampChef its a breeze.

We cook everything on this thing. In the mornings, its eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes for 50 people on the griddle. The full size griddle is a must have.

In the evenings we vary the menu from night to night, so the CampChef gets a workout. We grill, fry, boil, and even bake with this thing. My mother found out last year that the grill makes for a fairly passable camp oven, and her home made blackberry and raspberry cobblers were the delicious proof.

We have also used this thing as canning and "putting up" green beans, corn, peas, and okra. It keeps 2 pressure canners and a 16 quart stock pot at a boil with no problems.

The bottom line is: Buy this and the griddle and don't look back. If I can feed 50 people twice a day with this thing, just think what it could do for a tailgate party.

I had been looking for a gas grill to use during the long California warm weather cooking season. I had been using charcoal grills but the wait time for the charcoals to be ready to start cooking was a drawback to routinely grilling outside. I wanted something that was ready to cook on based on my schedule. However, I was less than enthusiastic about purchasing a unit that could only do grilling. After researching on the Internet I found this device. It not only was a very sturdy, and well made grilling mechanism, it had a primary function, as a high intensity gas cook-top,to allow me to routinely cook,i.e. boil, fry, saute, stir fry, etc, outside during the long very warm summers here in Northern California. I found this portable cook-top and grill to be well designed and made. It was very easy to assemble, with clearly written instructions. It is very substantive and sturdy, with a reasonable trade-off between weight and portability. That is to say it is not a very light weight system to carry all at once, the three burner cook-top, and the grilling attachment. Once set up, it fires up quickly. Adjustment is straightforward with large control knobs and flame adjustment ports for each of the three burner. You can use the attachable legs to bring the cooking surface to a mid level height, or take them off and place the unit on a metal table for a higher cooking surface. All in all it fits the bill for my intended uses, a very good product.

The case looks nice except the velco straping that holds the tools in were already falling apart. I think I'll just try some fabric glue to fix them. The stitching was weak on almost all of them.

First I will say that I love Cuisinart products and that is why I ordered these ones over any other. For the first time I am disappointed in one of their products. The tongs don't lock closed, which is a mild inconvenience, especially when putting back in the cheaply constructed case. The case hinges are not square and the lid closes "off" just a little. I have to push it into place to make it latch properly. The part that really irritates me and dropped the score so far is that the tongs will not pick up any weight. I love to slow cook roasts on my grill and these tongs will not pick up a 3lb. roast. My cheap Wal-Mart tongs did fine with this all the way up to a 5 or 6 lb roast. When I bought my new grill I wanted a good set of tools to go with it. They are cheaply made and bend under any amount of weight. Plus the cleaner brush has a straight handle and the grate has to be pulled off the grill to be cleaned properly. My old one had a handle with about a 30 degree bend in it and could use to clean more effectively even with the grate still on the grill. Just a poorly made kit all together.

Char-broil apparently have recently changed their bristles to steel rather than brass. Brass is still specified on Amazon's web-site.

I'm returning this because most grill manufacturers, particularly high-end, strongly recommend brass bristles, which don't damage the porcelain grids as fast as steel. (Steel bristles would be ok if you have only a cast-iron grid, but not one that's porcelain coated.) I've been buying, using, and preferring these brush/scrubbers for several years, but not any more. Perhaps Char-broil changed their specs to reduce costs, because steel is cheaper than brass; however at the same time they've raised the price 50% since I bought my last one!

Local H.D. still has some of the brass models in stock; will pick up a couple today just to tide me over.

I use my brush mostly to clean the grill after use, but I have recently used it to clean the cart of the grill, which I don't typically clean, so it had become very dirty. I am conscientious of cleaning the grates regularly and after every use, and this tool is handy to have clipped on to the side of my grill. It is able to easily pick up fats and caked on drippings, even after the grill has cooled (though it is usually easier to clean while still hot). I would recommend this all-purpose scrubber to use with Char-Broil's Grill Cleaner Spray. I combined them to heavy duty clean after a long winter and they continue to keep my grill clean all the time.
