Does not want to light when using the weber igniter, needed to use an external lighter after installing and tubes seem to be giving uneven heating after lighting. Maybe needs broken in?

The description clearly states "burner, hardware, and mounting instructions" ...only received burner from bbqfactory. When I contacted them they advised they had no hardware or instructions..thankfully my $10 ignitor, purchased elsewhere on amazon, had enough instructions to get me through. Works perfectly with my Weber Silver C purchased in 2000. Will buy elsewhere next time...
