The maverick thermometer worked better than expected. The instructions could have been better but it was still easy to use.

I give it 41/2 stars

This is the first smoker thermometer I have purchased. I agree with the other reviews stating that the instructions are somewhat less than desirable, but I was able to finally understand how it works. PROS: It does what I needed it to do, give me the temperature of the inside of the smoke chamber as well as the meat itself. Kudos for a wonderful job. CONS: The power switch for the transmitter is inside the battery compartment. An external switch would have been much better. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a remote meat thermometer. Range is about 15 feet.

Easy to keep track of smoker temps for the hours it takes to smoke meat. Can be a bit complicated initially but has a sharp learning curve

Honest reviews on ET-73 RediCheck Maverick Remote Meat, Grill, Smoker Thermometer w

Very disappointed in this item. The idea of both temps is a good one but that is all the good I can find in this. The range is horrible. I had to leave it outside on my lanai for it to work. When sitting next to each other they displayed different temps. I would not recommend this to anyone. A true waste of money.

This thermometer works well but it takes some learning to operate it properly. I reccomend one practice setting it up before the roast is in the oven.

I am so happy with this thermometer! I bought for my Brinkman smoker and then I bought two more for a bigger smoker that I am building. Needless to say, I highly recommend.

This is large and I can read it from inside my house through a window while the grill sits on my back patio. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars only because I thought it was a bit pricey. It works fine though.

I received the thermometer suprisingly fast. Installed in my smoker barrel and was smoking right away. The only problem, was the packaging tells you to use a drill bit size that will not let you thread the thermometer through. Other than that, works well so far.

Honest reviews on 3" River Country Easy Mount (RC-T3) Adjustable BBQ, Grill, Smoker

I ordered this for an ugly drum smoker build and love it. I can see the dial from my recliner and don't even have to go outside! I recommend the 3" over the 2" if using for a UDS!

I ordered two because they were in stock and it is summer. The thermometers work fine both read boiling water at correct temperature they are suppose to. they fog up and are hard to read but color code helps. This company took two weeks to get them to me , now understand they are round mechanical thermometers in blister packs. I do not understand why it took so long to fill read that ship an item that was in stock. It felt like i was being punished for not paying more for shipping never again. Buy it at a local retailer.

The grids fit perfect in my Permasteel grill. Well made sturdy construction. Very heavy duty. Much better than the factory cast ones. Price and delivery were also both reasonable.

These were purchased for our Jenn-air grill to replace oem product which lasted 6-7 years. They fit perfectly and were put into use March of this year. The problem is they have already begun to deteriorate. The outer layer of stainless is falling off. They look like they are about 5 years old. Very dissatisfied customer here. They should last at least 2-3 years for the price. Would be totally livid if I paid list price. Unfortunately these do not meet or exceed oem quality. I'm wondering if all the positive review customers have experienced similar problems after they have used these for a while. Contacted the company and they referred me back to Amazon customer service. The maker of this product is a apparently a horrible company. Apparently they offer no warranty whatsoever.

I have forgotten how nice it is to have a new grill. I brought my Jenn-air 7 years ago. My cooking grates finally gave up and started to fall apart so it was time to rebuild. These new grate are a better gauge steel than what came with the grill so i look for many years of good food.

Honest reviews on Music City Metals 563S2 Stainless Steel Wire Cooking Grid

I sized it per the instructions (used my measuring tape) and it fit perfectly. Good heavy stainless. Would recommend to family/friends.

The cooking grates fit suitably well in my Jenn Air 720-0336 grill. They came well packaged and arrived on time. These grates are quite heavy but appear to be steel grids coated with a layer of stainless steel rather than pure stainless steel as the description seems to indicate. One of the grates, after a single use, shows signs of separation between the two layers of metal near the end of one of the metal bars. Closer inspection upon delvery may have exposed this flaw. I'm quite sure this separation of metal layers will worsen as soon as the now-exposed inner layer of steel begins to rust and corrode with the ingress of moisture and BBQ sauces. I regret this purchase due to the poor initial quality. I feel I should have tried the porcelain-coated, cast iron grids instead.

A basic Chimney and gets the charcoal started. I wouldn't fill them up to the top with coals however (as is the case with any of these chimney starters).

It takes 5 minutes less using this chimney starter to get the coals white than it does if stacking your charcoal pyramid style. The thing I like the most about using it is the fact that you don't have to use starter fluid to light your charcoal. I would recommend this product.

I ordered this bbq set as a Christmas present for family and the picture does NOT do it justice! The set arrived very quickly and it was well packaged. It is simply one gorgeous bbq set and now I want one for me! If you like to bbq, this is the set for you. The handles are nice and long and the utensils are very well made and the case is sturdy and secure. It was father's day and my dad just purchased a new grill, so I decided that it wouldn't be bad to get him a barbecue set. The set is very complete with many different barbecue tools. I am not a big grill cooker, but there is a good chance I will buy this for myself. It seems to have every tool I would ever think about when looking at a grill set.

In general, it is a solid, stainless steel set, and while the tools did not feel as high quality as I would have liked, they a decent affordable set. The case seems fine. I expect it to be discarded eventually anyway, since very few people would keep their cooking utensils in a case.

The tools are solid, get the job done fine, and if I had to buy it again, I would.

Brushtech sells TWO identicle looking grill brushes however both of different quality so be careful which one you purchase. This model number is MODEL : B108C and the LESS expensive one and probably not as good as the other one which is MODEL : B308C and is sold on amazon and is more money and has great reviews. So when you see both of these and you see ones a lot less that is why. the 4 stars is bcuz i had to give it a rating to leave a review.

Infrared Table Top Grill Review

Customer Ratings:

cons:

1the part over the ceramic heater is NOT stainless steel, this is where it counts the most. I will remove this part and get it made of high grade stainless steel someplace.

2no thermometer :-(

3the brackets where you screw in the legs are spot welded only.

4Doesn't get too hot.

5fat that drips will produce flames that make heat distribution uneven. (this doesn't matter at all).

pros:

1portable,

2big solid handle that doesn't get hot.

3small outside yet very decent grilling surface. (about 12" x 12"). (I fit 1 massive steak, 3 pork chops and 2 sausages at a time).

4Easy and quick to use,

5gets ready to use almost instantly!!

6the exterior doesn't get too hot.

7I feel safe using this grill, knowing it is fast, not too hot, easy to manage. boom, boom, boom you're done.

8has push-button start...yayyy!

9SS grill rack with thick bars (tines, bars, whatever you call them), for easy cleaning and less sticking.

10I Have had several grills in the past, this is the first time that I have obtained grill marks without over-cooking!!!! I can make grill marks now, I have achieved manhood!

I hope this grill lasts. I rather pay a little more for something that lasts. If this inexpensive grill lasts, I will be doing a victory run with the Rocky soundtrack. I think it will.

When you first open the shipping box, you find that the grill has already started to distingrate. Each time you cook with this grill more pieces fall off. If you paid three dollars for it, you could have a good laugh.

The manufacturing quality (or lack thereof) is unlike anything you have probably seen before. It sets a new low water mark for Chinese made products.

You will never have to clean the drip tray in this grille. Juices leak out all over the bottom of the grill, leaving the drip tray empty.

Forget cooking chicken on this grill, unless you love blackened chicken.

The manufacturer states that this Infrared Table Top Grill is "all Stainless Steel." It is not! Quality Stainless is made using nickel and creates a non-magnetic metal. This product is magnetic and is made in China out of some mystery metal, which one could only hope is non-toxic like so many other Chinese made products seem to be.

The earlier model, which looks the same, was once made out of quality Stainless and was constructed far, far better. The earlier model was also larger. This grill can't possible last very long in the manner it is constructed and would suffice for grilling for a maximum of two people, unless limited to cooking hot dogs.

So, if you want a table top grill for only one or two evens and one or two people for a limited period of time, you don't want to cook chicken and you don't mind a mess all over the ground, this grill might work provided the metal (whatever it is) doesn't contaminate your food and before eating, make sure that metal parts falling off have not landed in your food.

All-in-all, better to spend more money and buy a better made grill unless you want to experience first hand just how bad a Chinese made product can be.

this is a great item i own a hot dog cart business in the near future i plan on buyn at least 2 or 3 more they cook faster then your average gas grill look around you won't find a better price then on amazon for this item unless you want to bid on it then you will pay the extra money for postage anyways i rather pay $100.00 plus $21.00 for postage and know that im getting a great item THIS COMES BRAND NEW IN THE BOX ...THANKS AMAZON

Honest reviews on Infrared Table Top Grill

Sucks when you buy cheap stuff online. The grill looks great great grilling surface, assembles easily, fires right-up... but about 5 minutes into grilling every damn time it POPS! and turns orange with flames coming out of the burner with a scary-loud hissing and popping noise to back things up. I shut it down... cool it off... and disconnect. i have used multiple tanks and even hooked-up a 5lb tank with an adapter always getting the same results. There is a leak that is somewhere inside the the burners and i dont think i should have to take the bbq apart to test for leaks. Needless to say, it does not make me feel safe.

I will probably update my review depending on how the seller handles my return...

I use this griddle mostly to cook bacon which it does a great job. The large size and drain holes makes it perfect for this job. The only downside is that only one can be used at a time. If nothing is being cooked on the other side of the grill, it seems like a lot of wasted propane.

This product should get a zero! Notice that it does not even tell what grill it fits on! Notice that even the three positive reviews don't even mention what Weber Q grill model they are using it on? Whay is that? It makes me a little suspect of the reviewers. Is leaving out what grill it fits the trap for more to be sold to people who don't even have the grill it fits?

Someone please correct these things. I'm surprised Weber doesn't keep an eye on these misleading listings?

I have a Weber Q-320 by the way.

Cheap Marsh Allen Deluxe Barrel Smoker Grill

Customer Ratings:

I have had this grill for a few months now and I have to say it's great for the price. It has a large capacity and the warming rack is perfect for those items that you don't want directly on the grill. You can make a full meal for a large family or family get together with this grill. Cook Burgers and Brats on the grill; baked potatoes and corn on the cob on the warming rack and you have a meal. You have to know how to lay a charcoal fire but start out small and work your way up. When I received this item it was on time, but I immediately felt something wrong due to the carton the Grill was in was dilapidated and torn. 10 minute's after starting construction I found that the wrong part's to even start assembly were wrong. I conntacted the maker of the grill, and they sent out the "replacement" part. It was the exact same piece that was wrong in the 1st place. I again contacted the maker's, and after 3 day's of phone tag, they informed me that they don't have the part I need, and that I need to return the product for refund. This whole process took around 2 week's, and I still don't have a grill. I WILL NOT be purchasing a Marsh Allen product ever again.

I ordered the Deluxe Barrel Smoker Grill as a father's day gift. Amazon shipped quickly like they always do.

Opened up the box to assemble Friday morning and lo and behold the first part I am to assemble is not the right partthe bottom "shelf" grid thingy. This seems to be an important part to get right for the stability of the grill :-( After 5 calls and 3 messages left with the person the receptionist thinks I need to talk to I have not heard back from anyone. Not that I expected to get the new part by Sunday, but I was kinda hoping that maybe it is the right part, just the wrong instructions and someone might be able to help me get it assembled in time to present the gift :-(

I am very excited about this grill, it seems like it will be great. Sturdy, etc... I'll update if I ever hear back from Marsh Allen Customer Service. I REALLY don't want to pack this thing back up!!!!!

Honest reviews on Marsh Allen Deluxe Barrel Smoker Grill

This grill itself is great I love it easy to put together. I only gave it three stars because I have to spend money to have someone weld a part that is broke. Make sure you prime the grill so it lasts. I slathered olive oil all over inside n out than burned a whole bag of charcoal to seal it before I cooked.

I was very disappointed when I received the package. The box was all torn up and there was bangs scrapes and dents all over the smoker. One of the racks was broken and more were bent. Out of the box this cover was extremely heavy and felt solid. The velcro straps are nice and the extra handles to add and remove the cover help out on wider grills. The only complain I have is that it's been 2 months and the black material as others have stated have faded to a very gray color. For something that states in the description that it's uv protected against fading I found this to be a disappointing. Otherwise it protects well and the fabric does not appear to have gotten brittle or show signs of any tears.

**Update**

7 Months later and the cover has faded a lot in the sun. I've also seen that there are 2 small tears occuring on the sun bleached areas. The cover where it was facing the wall or the not in direct contact with sunlight still seems fine but I dont know many grills that are kept indoors. Overall I would have liked to have gotten a winter out of the cover before noticing these issues, as it stands now I either need to pick up a new cover or break out the duck tape. First 2 months this was a fantastic cover it did not stand the test of time, for the price I can't help but be disappointed.

Reviews of Big Green Egg Replacement Felt Gasket - X-Large

Customer Ratings:

This product is good, however if you really want to crank up the heat often to cook pizzas and really sear some steak get this product Nomex Hi Temp Gasket Kit for Big Green Egg Large Including Spray Adhesive. I have replaced the original gasket and this one about three times. Finally I stumbled across this one and it holds up alot better. I love my egg, but I hated having to buy a gasket every other month until I got the other one.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

The felt gasket is easy to install. The only drawback is that this gasket does not have the longevity I was looking for. If any food or liquid spill on the gasket and is not wiped up, it will get sticky and pull off. It will also cook the gasket to the point that it will fall apart at high temperatures. I have been averaging about 6 months with this gasket.

Best Deals for Big Green Egg Replacement Felt Gasket - X-Large

I did not use it on a kamado, but I did install the felt gasket on my BBQ pit. The gasket helped create a good seal to minimize air leaks around the pit's lid. It was easy to install, just cut to size, peal, and stick. Great product to seriously consider when modifying a BBQ pit.

Honest reviews on Big Green Egg Replacement Felt Gasket - X-Large

The gasket looked great...I took my time to totally removed the old gasket and old "stickum" by scraping and using denatured alcohol to remove the balance of the old glue. The best and easiest way to remove/replace the gasket is to remove the top.

I let the unit totally dry before I installed the new gasket. It went on very easy and looked great...HOWEVER...after just 3 uses the bottom front gasket (about 18 inches) pulled loose at normal cooking temperature.

it is straight, not curved, and will never work on a kamado style smoker or green egg. real ripoff, very misleading, a.k.a. lie.
