I bought 2 burners for my grill. They are easy to assemble, and matched the shape and attachment points of the original. So far they have worked fine. One item of note: the original had a fine screen over the air holes at the end of the tube, this does not. A spider managed to find its way in and build a nest, causing the flame to burn yellow. I thought the tube had failed, but inspection identified the cause.

Just letting people know this item DOES fit a LARGE Big Green Egg with a NEST attachment (shelves folded down). I measured my egg and purchased this based on those measurements, and there's actually plenty of space left over.

Also, I've checked out the $70 BGE cover in stores and the material on this cover is much better and thicker.

If you have an egg but don't want to waste money paying the insulting asking price for the Big Green Egg "official" cover, this is a great alternative at half the cost.

I bought this for my x-large BGE that has side tables mainly because the price of the BGE brand was ridiculously high. This cover fits very well, does not blow off, and provides the protection I was looking for. My only complaint would be that it has faded pretty quickly but seems to be holding up, even in California sunlight (no cracks or tears).I would also add that they included velcro straps that I have yet to use if anything they kind of get in the way while putting the cover on. Other than that I am very satisfied and will likely buy another one.

Bought this cover for my Large BGE and it fits very nicely, just as it shows in the picture, the cover comes all the way to the casters. The only reservation I have is the top of the cover where it fits over the damper. Time will tell if it tears where the damper handle and the vent wheel is. I'm going to find a large plastic container to put over the vent first, then this probably won't happen. Would have given it 5 stars if it had some extra material in the top.

I bought this last year after getting a kamado joe and I must say that it worked perfectly when I got it. It went through winter and now about 11 months after purchase there is a HUGE tear in the top that renders it useless as the rain goes right into it and if you barely touch it the tear will open more. So every time I lift the cover off the opening gets bigger by at least 3 inches. It's a nice product if it lasted, but crap if you asked me.

Motor mechanism works well.

The metal rod is adjustable, but did not have the correct combination of parts to fit my particular grill (Char-Broil Performance Tru-Infrared 340 2-Burner Gas Grill)

The end of the rotisserie had grooves to keep it from falling out of the motor, which I'm sure is a great feature if it fits your grill.

The package includes a prop for the grill lid as well as the spit works and extenders. I think it's clever how the motor can be positioned one way for normal use (with the lid closed) and when turned around works with the extender at the other end and the lid propped open for larger items. The attaching screws are too long but I haven't found them to get in the way. One of these days I'll change them though.

Use this baby for a lot of different things. Chickens, Tenderloins, Steaks, Ribs. Really anything that is bulky enough to fall on the spear, and stay. We use the smaller two grate InfraRed model. Throw some soaked wood chip in the bottom and start Rotisserie-ing. Just ordered my second unit. The first one lasted a few years. But I used and abused it. If it makes a difference, the first one was purchased from the Manufacturers own website. Thank goodness for Amazon. Save a little money!! Would estimate i used it 60-70 times. 30 minute to 1 hour runs. Works out to less than 50 cents a spin. Well worth it though. The mfg site unit finally cratered last week. one of the mounting screws came unhinged. probably could have glued it back in, but what the hey. Another $30 will get me thru a few more years and then i will upgrade to the bigger InfraRed Unit.

This is a must have, and the most important add on for these Infrared units!!!!!!

Rats! I purchased this rotisserie kit to go with the 2 burner grill I purchased for my husband at Home Depot.

Shipment was fast, the outer box looked fine, when I opened the package the original product box was a mess.

I opened the box (with one eye open and one shut) to find everything in it except the rotisserie bar. I have not had any problems what so ever with Amazon Prime in the past, so I am quite confident that this packaging over site will be rectified promptly

without a hitch. More to come after I get my correct shipment.

To the vendor's credit, this shipped out immediately though I would have liked a faster shipping option. I haven't used this set of wood yet but they were all uniform 1.5 2" cubes. Fist sized would be preferable, so we'll see how these do.

2" River Country Professional Series Adjustable Grill & Smoker Review

I have a barrel type smoker/grill with a side firebox. The thermometer that came with the smoker is not very accurate and positioned far above the grate where the cooking takes place. I bought two 2" RC BBQ Smoker thermometers because the price is reasonable and I like the colored temperature zones, I can tell what the temps is at a glance from a distance. I added them on the lower edge of the lid of the smoker near the grate level, one near each end. Mounting was simple and all mounting hardware was included. The stems that protrude into the smoker is very short so does not interfere with cooking space. These gauges are very accurate. When I first got them I did the boiling water calibration and they are dead-on. Now I have the confidence with my smoker knowing exactly what temperature I am cooking at.

I've got 2 Weber charcoal grills a large one, and a smaller "Smokey Joe" grill. Neither of them have a thermometer, so I decided to buy one of these thermometers for the larger grill. It's very accurate, and it definitely pulls the temperature from the probe, not from the metal surface of the grill lid. I tested this by gripping the probe tightly in my hand, which caused the needle to move to just below 100 degrees. However, when I gripped the meter housing in the same way, it did not move at all. I am highly confident that the temperature displayed on the thermometer is the temperature of the air inside the grill.

Installation is a breeze: Drill a 3/8" hole in whatever surface you want to mount this to, put the probe through the hole, and tighten the nut and washer down with a wrench or pliers.

The face appears to be some sort of plastic, probably to help keep it from fogging up. When I used my grill in the rain, it did get a little condensation inside, but not enough to obstruct the view.

I will definitely be buying a second one of these for my smaller grill.

Update, 5/4/2010:

I ended up buying a second one of these thermometers for my other grill. It works exactly like the first one, which I am very happy about. I mentioned before that I thought the face seemed like some sort of plastic, but now i am pretty sure it is glass, although I'll never know for sure unless I break one apart. Any ways, the reason for the update in the review is that the second one I bought is slightly different than the first one, in a good way! Mechanically and structurally, they are identical, however the printing on the gauge face was different on the new one. The first gauge was the same as the photo shown here on the product page, marked as "Smoke" from 100-225, "Barbecue" from 225-375, and everything after 375 is just empty white space. After using it several times, I kept thinking "I wish it said "Grill" for the temperatures above 375. Well, on the second thermometer I received, it actually DOES say grill in the 375-550 section. It's not that big of a deal, but I just thought I would post an update of my review to reflect the differences in the 2 thermometers that I bought from the same product page.

I purchased this item to install on my 36" Weber kettle for smoking and BBQing. I calibrated it as I was boiling water for my morning coffee before work. It was only off by a few degrees and I had it adjusted in a snap. Install was a breeze with sharp bits and cordless drill set to the lowest speed working up in 3 steps to the largest diameter bit. If one would like to use the washer and hex nut provided, I would recommend drilling a hole 1/32" to 1/16" larger than the 1/2" hole suggested by River Country. I did not do this as the thermometer body threaded securely into the 1/2" hole without the nut and washer. As I expand and/or upgrade I will definitely be keeping these thermometers in mind.

Out of the box this cover was extremely heavy and felt solid. The velcro straps are nice and the extra handles to add and remove the cover help out on wider grills. The only complain I have is that it's been 2 months and the black material as others have stated have faded to a very gray color. For something that states in the description that it's uv protected against fading I found this to be a disappointing. Otherwise it protects well and the fabric does not appear to have gotten brittle or show signs of any tears.

**Update**

7 Months later and the cover has faded a lot in the sun. I've also seen that there are 2 small tears occuring on the sun bleached areas. The cover where it was facing the wall or the not in direct contact with sunlight still seems fine but I dont know many grills that are kept indoors. Overall I would have liked to have gotten a winter out of the cover before noticing these issues, as it stands now I either need to pick up a new cover or break out the duck tape. First 2 months this was a fantastic cover it did not stand the test of time, for the price I can't help but be disappointed.

I ordered this believing it was a Bull Outdoor Product cart cover. It is not.

It is olive green, nylon and not vinyl with a liner. The Bull logo was sewn on an angle and on the wrong side. The cover ripped in a corner when applied. I will return this and wonder how Amazon ships what is clearly NOT a Bull BBQ cover but a cheap knock off. Very disappointed.
