Discount 93321 (4-pack) Porcelain Steel Heat Plate Replacement for Select
How nice to find this part on Amazon! We used it just today after replacing the old parts on my Char Broil grill Model # 463268007. Very easy to replace the parts. Took about 15 mins total and we were grilling in no time. As a special bonus, we received the parts one day earlier than expected! Thanks!

Buy Kit of Four 13.75" GrillGrates (interlocking) + Grate Tool
First off, I never take the time to review products, but these are worth writing about. I've had mine for a month and have used them a dozen-or-so times.
The Pain in the A$$ Factor
I did quite a lot of research comparing these against the cast iron Mangrates that Adam Carolla endorses and would have bought them, but the Mangrates required a lot of maintenance to season and clean. I was a little skeptical about the GrillGrates being aluminum, but I have to tell ya the other positive reviews are correct. They're anodized for hardness, and require no maintenance, and cleanup is a breeze.
The Food Factor
I used to routinely burn the outside of steaks, chicken and was never satisfied with the outcome. Regular grill surfaces are just hard to work with (uneven temps, food too close to too much heat, flareups, etc).
The Grillgrates produced fool-proof chicken, steaks, hamburgers, hotdogs, even fish. Meats come out thick on the outside, juicy on the inside. Do your own research, these things are actually ENGINEERED for cooking. The raised rails and the simmering effect work just as advertised. No flareups, so food doesn't char, it just cooks evenly.
I have a larger grill and was glad I bought 2 two-packs (totaling four sections). Each section is about the width of a good-sized steak so plan ahead. I can't rate these any higher. Well worth every penny and I can't say that about too many products these days.
Some background: Some time ago, I was given an older Weber Genesis Silver A two-burner grill (made in 2002 or so), rated at 24,000 BTU. After I replaced the burners with new ones, at full blast I am able to get the built-in thermometer (not the most accurate) to register in the 550F to 600F range, but it'll take about 15 minutes or more, in full sunlight with no breeze. To get a good sear, I would have to really fire up the grates (custom-made solid 304 stainless steel rods) beforehand.
When I got the GrillGrates, the first thing I did was brush oil on them (as recommended). Then I fired up the burners full blast. It took under 10 minutes to reach vertical on the thermometer, indicating approximately 650F+. The thermometer essentially topped out, so I can't say what the final reading would have been. Even as just a comparative reading, that is extremely impressive.
I grilled some skinless chicken breasts, and was able to get excellent grill marks first time out. They cooked fast, and weren't dry whatsoever. I also grilled some chicken skewers; same results. Corn/bell peppers cooked fast without overcooking, due to the hot raised ridges and conductive effect. Hamburger patties, again same results. All foods cooked very quickly with excellent grill marks. In the past, to get these markings, I would have to leave the item on the grill longer, sometimes resulting in overcooked or dry food. With the GrillGrates, you'd really have to try hard to fail.
If you cover an adequate portion of your cooking area, the GrillGrates provide your grill with the best aspects of a so-called "infrared" grill, or one with a "searing station". Those terms in recent times have become buzzwords in grill sales, and for some units may mean really nothing more than having possibly a ceramic plate and a more-or-less perforated sheet of metal over the burners to trap more of the heat and thus create an extra-hot surface. The problem with a number of those grills is that the aforementioned perforations in the metal sheet are very numerous, and are typically small, sometimes even pinhole sized. Cleaning them after serveral uses can be quite a task, and if you trap too much moisture in the valleys, you can end up essentially steaming your food.
The GrillGrates solve this problem by have higher raised ridges and larger perforations in the base. Enough liquids and oils can still be trapped and smoked, but never carbonized enough to the point where they will clog the openings. The GrillGrates are also made of thicker and much much better material than what's in the infrared grills. The anodized aluminum conducts heat rapidly and reduces any hot-spots. In contrast to most infrared grills, you also maintain greater flexibilty in temperature control. The included oversized GrillTool works great with the system to remove more delicate cuts of meat without any scraping.
In terms of flare-up control, the GrillGrates do a good job in that any oils burning below the GrillGrates are completely blocked or controlled. However, since I was able to run mine so hot, sometimes the oils trapped in the valleys themselves can flare. More judicious temperature control on my part easily solved this issue, but this illustrates that these grates can get EXTREMELY HOT. You also have to clean out the valleys now and then, else when the oils and liquids sizzle they'll pick up carbonized bits and splatter them right back onto the food.
The GrillGrates deliver on every promise they make, and is the best addition to any grill if you want to dramatically increase surface temperatures and produce great-looking food. I recommend them highly, without any reservations.
You can spray these down with a coating of vegetable oil (prior to firing up) or brush them during cooking. They work really well this way. I like using the garlic variety and can even drizzle some herbs and/or wood shavings down between them. They work great for searing and transfer the heat nicely for you. Soak them in warm soapy water with a touch of lemon for clean up.
The order arrived quickly, was packaged well.
are GREAT. Steaks are juicers,so are burgers, salmon cooks better. These are the three meats that I have tried.
I ordered the four panel which works good, but, I'm planning on having a set custom made to cover my entire grilling
surface.

These are REALLY nice aluminum grates for the grill or smoker barbecue. I have a set of four and ordered two additional panels for my use. The set comes with a nice spatula the moves between the grilling groves for turning. You can spray these down with a coating of vegetable oil (prior to firing up) or brush them during cooking. They work really well this way. I like using the garlic variety and can even drizzle some herbs and/or wood shavings down between them. Honest reviews on Kit of Four 13.75" GrillGrates (interlocking) + Grate Tool
I have been using GrillGrates (four panel set) for about 6 months now, and I can say that has been one of the best purchases I have ever made. I bought these because I was having problems with flare-ups burning the bottom of the meat, and uneven temperature of the grill (propane). Well, since getting GrillGrates, those issues have completely disappeared. Flare-ups are now essentially impossible to affect the meat, and everything I have grilled has been juicy and perfectly cooked. Everything from burgers and steaks to chicken and pork loins have not only come out perfectly cooked, but even superior to the best I have ever had in any restaurant. I was hesitant at first regarding the price of the GrillGrates, but I truly believe that it has more than paid for itself this summer, from saving steaks that I might have otherwise ruined, and on restaurant checks that I am avoiding by having superior food at home. I have never before written a product review, but GrillGrates are so amazing, I felt I must say something this time.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Kit of Four 13.75" GrillGrates (interlocking) + Grate Tool

Cheap Little Griddle Griddle Cleaning Kit
Perfect! Cleaned up my griddle real nice! Scapper almost did a good enough job by itself. Scrubber brought the shine back right away!
The scraper is of good quality.
The scraper does a great job and saves my griddle and spatulas.
The brush has been basically useless. It gets dirty after the first use and is difficult to clean. I threw it in the garbage after 2 attempts to use it.

I ordered this to replace a burned out burner tent that was buried in lava rock. It needed to be replaced, as grilling had become an unpleasant experience. It served two purposes. It covered the burners in an older Char Broil grill and provided a place for the placement of the Char Diamonds that I ordered. Grilling is now a delight and the steaks are the best yet.Best Deals for Char-Broil OE 7000 Rock Grate
I wish the description said that using this grate means you do not need a flavorizer bar. Heck you can not install the bar with this grate in place. I am grateful to get this grate now I can BBQ the way I like to. The new grills are made in a way that makes it impossible to use ceramic briguettes! Char Broil, a good company. Practically raised in my parents BBQ store. Familiar with Music City Metals. So I bought this knowing that the venturi space was a tad wide. It will fit, takes a little finesses to get it in. When you screw on the venturi's, slide them forward before tightening. Turn the burner slightly sideways when putting the venturis past the hole and then back to normal. Hold it up and make sure the valve assembly slides fully into the venturis and make sure it's centered in the base of the grill. It takes a little maneuvering but it will work. I wish the venturi holes were a little more narrow, but it's the same burner they have always had, made for several different models/brands of grills. Once you get in, it cranks heat. I let it burn off all the built up gunk on my grill for a good 15-20 mins and it was pushing out smoke. I've had my MHP WNK for almost 20 years now and it's the best grill ever. It's simple which is all I need. I knew it was basically a remake of the original Charmglow which I worked on many of them through the years. I've replaced burners and grates, but the hull is in perfect shape. Repaint it every once an awhile. I Love My MHP.

The burner does not sit at the proper depth in the bottom of the grill, and the venturi tubes are just a bit to short. Not quite what I was expecting. Will most likely go back to the stainless steel burners...Honest reviews on Music City Metals 21002-78002 Cast Iron Burner Replacement
It puzzles me that this vendor would post diagrams of the product with precise measurements and then ship me a product with slightly different dimensions. The drawing shows the inlet pipes spaced at 2 1/4 on center. The product's inlet pipes are spaced 2 3/8" on center or perhaps wider. That additional width creates challenges. I thought seriously about returning it, but I had people coming over for dinner so I forced it to fit. It's working, but it's not seated properly. It's suspended by friction and I'm not happy about that. On a positive note, this product is built like a tank.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Music City Metals 21002-78002 Cast Iron Burner Replacement
This H burner burns even flame around its entirety. However, it did not line up perfectly with the ignitor and the burner would not light until I raised up the ignitor with washers so that it would be nearer to the gas from the burner. That was minor as it now works better than the original stainless burner and it should outlast it. I highly recommend this burner for a replacement for MHP grills. Shipping was fast, great seller! I never buy anything like this that doesn't require "modification". This was no exception. The box arrived destroyed. It had been wrapped in plastic wrap to hold it togethor. The delivery guy understood however that I wanted to check it out before I accepted it so he and I tore it apart to see if there was any damage. Amazingly, all the parts were there and there wasn't a scratch. Unreal considering the condition of the box but I will count my luck. Assembly -the firebox comes in two pieces (top/bottom). One of the holes didn't align at all (front left if looking down inside the top door)and I had to re-drill it. No big deal. The washers are entirely too small in the firebox as well and will press right through the holes here as you tighten them up.....so I put larger more substantial washers all the way around the inside of the fire box. The bolts for the firebox are realllllly looooowwwww grade and soft metal as well. Since the firebox flanges don't fit well togethor (ultimately leaving about 1/4 inch gap between top and bottom halves), it would be good if you could tighten it down all the way around to close the gap a bit......but the bolts are too cheap and will shear before you get there. If I had known this before getting most of them in, I would have replaced all of them with higher grade bolt, nuts and washers. Not sure why for $607 they couldn't spend another $8 for proper hardware here? The 1/4 inch gap is not a big deal however because it is in the firebox and allows a bit of air into the combustion chamber. If it were in the cooking chamber it would not be good. The other piece that had to be modified was the temp guage hole. It simply wasn't big enough for the temp guage to fit....so it had to be bored out before it fit snugly through the hole. (again, not a big deal). Smoking the fire box is good sized and got proper air flow (this is the absolute biggest and most important piece with these things). It could use a grate at the bottom that has smaller openings so it will hold charcoal (the charcoal slides right through it as it is). I will be fabricating a tighter screen to place on top of the current grate (which shouldn't be difficult). I ultimately used a mixture of charcoal and wood for the fire. This will take a bit of study as I go to get the mixture right but I feel I was on the right path. The unit does leak around the main door just a bit, but again, it appears maintaining temp is not going to be too difficult because of the large firebox and proper openings for air in/out. All of offset smokers leak air to some extent. As with all offset smokers, this one could also use a convection plate that carries the heat further down towards the center of the cooking chamber instead of most of the heat coming up on the right side where the firepit hole is. I will be fabricating one of these as well (againshouldn't be difficult). I also wish the smokestack entered the cooking chamber down near the cooking grates. This would help force the heat and smoke to exit at a lower level (thereby smoking/cooking the meat better). The tendancy with exit holes this high is that the heat goes straight up, then over to the exit, bypassing the meat to some extent. I have only seen one offset smoker that got this point right however. I will maybe see if I can fabricate an exension of the pipe inside the smoker to lower its entry point. I see all of these things as items that I would have to do to almost every offset smoker out there btw. It did smoke a shoulder to 180 degrees over about 7hrs. I was playing with the temp the whole time however trying to figure out the best combination. All smokers will require a bit of a learning curve. The smoker as a whole appears sturdy and looks like it will hold a good amount of meat. I am probably going to mount two more good quality thermometers to it....right at the cooking surface with one on the right and one on the left so I can try and even the heat out from one side to the other with convection plate design.
What I can say, is this is a quality offset. Now having said that it is definitely not a Lang. It is also not $2,000. If you are looking for a smoker that is a better quality that what you can get at your local box hardware store, then this may very well be the one.
The steel is a higher, thicker quality. Again, not Lang, but definitely workable. The construction is solid, and durable.
This like most offsets, and like another reviewer mentioned, can use some modifications.
The pass through on most offsets create a hot spot on one side, and cool on the other. The construction of the vent pipe is a bit akward. This, like most offsets, has the temp gauge at the very top. (this has never made sense to me, as basic physics dictates that heat rises. If heat rises and pools at the top, how do you know what the true deck level temp is?)
Spend one day on a weekend, and a little extra cash, and you can make this smoker a competition worthy smoker.

The grill showed up in a torn box. When I put it together the two haves of the fire bow did not match up very well and there is a small separation in it to the point that I think it effects the temp in the firebox. The thermostat was also broken and is off on the temperature by 50 degrees. The rest of the grill is well constructed but I expected a lot more for 600 dollars. I would send it back if it wasn't for all the hassles, this is the first Smoke Hollow grill I have owned and I am not happy with it.Best Deals for Outdoor Leisure SH36208 Smoke Hollow 40-Inch Barrel
Perhaps to some who have reviewed, a box is what is REALLY important. Perhaps some lack the simple engineering skills to assemble a smoker correctly. I dont know, so I wont speculate.

Cheap Char-Broil Urban Grill Rotisserie Kit
Motor mechanism works well.
The metal rod is adjustable, but did not have the correct combination of parts to fit my particular grill (Char-Broil Performance Tru-Infrared 340 2-Burner Gas Grill)
The end of the rotisserie had grooves to keep it from falling out of the motor, which I'm sure is a great feature if it fits your grill.
This is a must have, and the most important add on for these Infrared units!!!!!!
Shipment was fast, the outer box looked fine, when I opened the package the original product box was a mess.
I opened the box (with one eye open and one shut) to find everything in it except the rotisserie bar. I have not had any problems what so ever with Amazon Prime in the past, so I am quite confident that this packaging over site will be rectified promptly
without a hitch. More to come after I get my correct shipment.

The package includes a prop for the grill lid as well as the spit works and extenders. I think it's clever how the motor can be positioned one way for normal use (with the lid closed) and when turned around works with the extender at the other end and the lid propped open for larger items. The attaching screws are too long but I haven't found them to get in the way. One of these days I'll change them though.Best Deals for Char-Broil Urban Grill Rotisserie Kit
Unit was as advertised, took a little adjusting and had to add spacers to mounts in order for it to fit properly and allow my grill lid to operate properly. Great price much less than direct from Char Broil.Honest reviews on Char-Broil Urban Grill Rotisserie Kit
Use this baby for a lot of different things. Chickens, Tenderloins, Steaks, Ribs. Really anything that is bulky enough to fall on the spear, and stay. We use the smaller two grate InfraRed model. Throw some soaked wood chip in the bottom and start Rotisserie-ing. Just ordered my second unit. The first one lasted a few years. But I used and abused it. If it makes a difference, the first one was purchased from the Manufacturers own website. Thank goodness for Amazon. Save a little money!! Would estimate i used it 60-70 times. 30 minute to 1 hour runs. Works out to less than 50 cents a spin. Well worth it though. The mfg site unit finally cratered last week. one of the mounting screws came unhinged. probably could have glued it back in, but what the hey. Another $30 will get me thru a few more years and then i will upgrade to the bigger InfraRed Unit. This is a must have, and the most important add on for these Infrared units!!!!!!
