I purchased all Kingsford tools for my grill, as I'm very fond of the steel and red rubber aesthetic. All of them are fantastic, except for this brush. At $20, it's already too pricey, and that's before you get to the flimsy quality on the head.

My grill has cast-iron grates, so they need a little force to be cleaned. Maybe this brush just isn't designed to hold up under that pressure, but I don't think that's a valid excuse. It's not complicated -it's just a brush.

Anyways, the head of the brush will bend back and forth if you put even moderate pressure on it. It looks nice, but it's not built very well at all. The bristles have even been bent up quite a bit, and this is after only maybe a dozen uses.

This brush is probably adequate for a small, cheap grill, but not for much else.

This must have tool has worked out great for my smoker. It has now made it easy for me to set and keep the right temp for my Landmann Smoker and Weber Genesis. After checking with the Maverick ET 732 I learned my smoker was reading 20 degrees higher and my Weber was off by 60 degrees. Was able to set my smoker at 225 for 5 hours for the best baby backs I ever smoked. The alarm which I set between 200 and 250 sounded off when I was out front waxing my car, went out back to learn the flame had gone out on my propane smoker. Glad I had my wireless remote with me in the garage or my ribs would have been sittin cold for an hour not to mention the propane which would have been leaking out. I also like the you tube vids on this product that show how easy it is to set your temps. I've had no problems with the probes,just wash the tips with soap and water and store away in a shoe box like I do so you don't crimp the wires till your next bar b q. I do set a small table next to my smoker to set the transmitter on while cooking. This is a great tool and well worth the price.

If you love to cook, barbecue or smoke meat then this is the ideal tool for you. This digital thermometer will monitor the temperature of your meat being cooked and the temperature of your barbecue grill, smoker or oven. The temperature measurement is accurate and the unit comes with two probes to make the measurements with.

You can actually set the transmitter unit by the barbecue grill or oven and insert the probes into the meat and into the grill and read the measurement from up to 300 feet away. The unit even has a lost link alarm if you are too far away from the transmitter. You can program the unit to set off an alarm when your barbecue temperature is too low or too high. You can also program in a time alarm or a meat temperature alarm.

The short round tip sensor is the barbecue temperature monitor and the sharp longer temperature probe is the meat thermometer. The barbecue sensor comes with a probe holder that lets you install it between the wires of the cooking rack. The sensors are heat resistant for up to 716° F and the receiver can display up to 572° F for the barbecue temperature. The LCD screen on the receiver has a push button to back light the screen if you are cooking later in the evening.

The unit comes with a magnetic meat temperature guide that you can stick onto a refrigerator that advises you of the temperature versus the wellness of the meat ranging from rare to well done. I found the unit easy to use and understand and the temperature readings that I got were fast and accurate. You will notice that there is a small red LED on the front of the transmitter unit and when it flashes it transmits the updated temperature to the receiving unit. The speed of response between the two units is not bad and we verified the temperature of the oven very accurately within the accuracy of the oven's temperature controller. This means that in my opinion the temperature reading of this unit was more accurate than the oven temperature controller.

Inside of the box as an instruction sheet to verify that the transmitter and the receiver synchronize on the same frequency but I have to tell you that my two units synced perfectly but just installing the batteries and turning the units on. The receiver unit had a slide on battery cover that was easy to remove but the transmitter has a cover held on with two small screws that required me to break out the small instrument Phillips head screw driver to remove them.

My wife and I love this unit and we found it to be simple and easy to use and the temperature readings were very accurate. I rate this product as a five star item and it is the best remote temperature sensor that I have seen. The range of the reception is amazing at 300 feet and you will not have an excuse for overcooked or under cooked meals again. Now I have to get one for my sister-in-law who always tries to serve under cooked barbecued chicken and raw hamburgers when she grills out.

I was supplied with a sample for testing and evaluation and I promised to provide a fair and honest review.

If you want to cook a truly unbelievably awesome steak. You need Meathead's temperature guide and a quality digital thermometer.

The range of the ET 732 is excellent. I live in a 95 year old house with super thick walls. Have no problem getting remote temps 75 ft away. I do recommend you buy the 6 ft probes. I got mine from OneCountyShop. The 3 footers that come with the thermometer work but the extra three feet really makes it easier on a larger grill.

The guide makes it easy to get all meats cooked to perfection. I especially like the Chef's temp recommendations. The only other thing you need to do is go to Meatheads website amazingribs.com.

Hands down it has the best advice and recipes for cooking any meat to perfection. Backed up with sound science and proven techniques you cannot go wrong following his advice.

Now instead of cooking steaks that were OK but seldom great I cook steaks that rival those served in the best high end steak houses every time.

The best part is you to can learn to cook this way. All you need is a high quality thermometer like the ET 732, Meatheads cooking guide, do your research at amazingribs.com, and get to know your local butcher.

Most highly recommend.

I have started smoking pork shoulders on a Webber Performer. I used a single probe thermometer in the meat and the in dome thermometer on the Webber, and this worked OK, although I had to stay pretty close to the grill to keep an eye on things. I found some articles on the need for a grill thermometer to be more accurate. So I started my research.

As usual there were a few negative reviews on the ET 732.

I have used it about four times so far with great results, I just did my first brisket. I love being able to look at one device and see the temp for the meat and the grill. It also has an over and under temp alarm for the grill. The beeping alarm is loud enough to hear anywhere in the house. The fact that the ET 732 is wireless is outstanding. No matter what I am doing in the shop or in the yard I can pull the remote unite out and check on the meat. It has worked perfect for me.

A great product, I am happy I found it.

Gets The Job Done

The cover for my Char-Broil Urban 340 was an eye opener. Little of the other reviews could be accradited to this supperbed cover. With that in mind; nothing is perfect. So, here is some of the things that could be added or replaced in the next generation cover. First, it should be about four inches longer to cover the bottom part of the grill. Second, the straps should be longer and thicker; and more structural friendly than the ones in this model. Third, the cover fit should be more structural friendly so it will fit to the grill like it belong to it not an after thought.

I was leery after reading earlier reviews of an upside down logo, and a too short cover leaving the bottom area open to the elements.

But the mfgr. assured me corrections had been made and voila---I can read "Char Broil" easily and no mini skirt. Best of all, rain today (May 15,'11) hasn't touched any part of the frame.

A quality cover, priced right, and quickly delivered. All in all, a great deal from Amazon.

Lots of people complain about this being too short for the CharBroil InfraRed from Home Depot. This cover was designed to fit the Quantum, so it isn't perfect, but gets the job done. To make sure the bottom of my InfraRed was covered, I cut off the velcro straps that cinch the sides tight against the grill, and just let the edges hang. It then looks EXACTLY like pictured in the top-left of this page -with the bottom 1" to 1/2" showing. This is perfectly adequate to protect the grill, and has never flown off, even in extremely windy conditions.

I have noticed that it has started letting water in though. The material seems to be holding up fine, but it is no longer repelling water. I'll have to spray it with some sealer to make it last. It just seems silly that it is leaking after only 7 months. Regardless, it is better than nothing.

I used the skewers and they performed well-meat and vegetables would not spin when turning the skewers over for reverse side browning due to the flat shape of skewer. A round skewer would have had problems.

We love these skewers, just the right length for roasting marshmellows. The handle never gets hot and they are easy clean up. We sit by the fire pit a lot with the grandchildren, taking in the stars and just enjoying each other. This was the perfect purchase...worth every penny I must say!

I've used them 4 times three times at home and at one pre-season game and can honestly say they are great. I purchased these skewers to make spiedies (a Binghamton, NY version of kebabs). I was having a family BBQ for about 15-20 and needed enough skewers to grill with (I bought 2 sets of 4). These skewers are strong, sturdy and can hold a LOT of weight without bending. I packed on the meat from handle to end and was still able to easily flip and turn the meat without it spinning (thanks to the flat blade) or the blade bending. I've also tossed these in the dishwasher once and no issues. The wood handles will turn black a little from the grill but I don't think this is a huge deal. You'll also need grill mits to turn the skewers as the handles can get somewhat hot but mostly it's cause your hands are close to the grill as you turn. I'd definitely recommend these to others!

These skewers are built nicely and are a very good length. I purchased them to prevent burning my hands when I turn kabobs like I do with the metal ones. These did the trick. The flat blades prevent the food from turning circles. They are easy to clean, also.

This warming rack will not fit Q220 without a small modification. This rack will fit if you cut off the feet below the cross bar. I only cut the back two off but all four could easily be cut off. With the warming rack in place the lid still shuts all the way.

This warming rack fits the Weber Q300 model perfectly!

I own a Weber Q300 built in 2005 and wanted a warming rack like my father has on his Weber Genesis.

I found this one and was leery of buying it for my Q300 based on some reviews on here stating that it wouldn't fit correctly, but I bought it anyway based on information I found in several places that stated that this warming rack would, in fact, fit all models of the Q300 series with no issues.

I got it in the mail and installed it in the grille immediately. It mounts just the same as it does on the Q320 pictured and without any interference from the grill's lid.

I have several pictures to prove this that I will upload sometime soon to help confirm that this is a good purchase for other Q300 owners.

I've used it extensively and must say it works quite well to toast the buns when I am making burgers or to slightly undercook vegetable skewers for when I'm feeling like some vegetables cooked on the crunchier side.

The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that I wish the back bar that runs behind the bottom part of the rack was either lower in height or supplemented with another bar. With the design as it is, I have a difficult time turning buns on the rack as they wish to slide under that bar and onto the surface of the grille. This is a minor complaint, though.

Bottom line:

Fits the Q300 perfectly, don't believe other reviews.

Almost perfect for everything for which I want to use it.

I was able to grab a $50 Q300 grill off craigslist and bought this to add to it.

Couldn't be happier. Fits perfectly (not sure why others have said it will only fit in the middle. I can place it at the very back of the grill and shut the lid.).

The scraper does a great job and saves my griddle and spatulas.

The brush has been basically useless. It gets dirty after the first use and is difficult to clean. I threw it in the garbage after 2 attempts to use it.

It is important to allow the unit to dry completely before reusing. If water gets into the vacuum pump, it will not draw a vacuum until it dries. Once it dries out, it works fine.

I received this as a gift and was excited to put it to good use. Unfortunately, on my first attempt it broke. I was using it just as the directions said, nothing out of the ordinary, and all of a sudden the plunger went from about medium (since a vacuum was being created) to very easy where it just felt like I was pushing a spring. The plunger broke that fast, and since it was broken, the device would no longer create a vacuum.

Oh well, at least I now have a rectangular shaped clear plastic container with a lid that can hold perishable items.

If you want to vacuum marinade, save your money and shop for something else.

So often you buy a "gadget" item like this and are completely disappointed. Not so with this marinating tray. The vacuuming mechanism actually works and it does indeed speed the marinating process up. I use it on beef and chicken for the most part. It cleans very nicely (I sometimes hand wash, but prefer dishwasher especially if I have used chicken), and stores well. It is quite well built and I have had no problems what so ever with it. It has been well worth the money.

It worked OK for two years, then the vacuum pump ceased working. It's molded in and can't be repaired. I prefer the marinators that use the wine cork pumpdown system. At least if the cork goes bad, you can use another one.

I don't recommend washing the base in the dishwasher. Polycarbonate is hygroscopic and will absorb water at elevated temperatures, which embrittles it and will eventually lead to failure under vacuum.

I used this grill for tailgating and camping for a few summers and have really enjoyed it. The legs are admittedly a bit tough to get out of the holes sometimes but it is a minor inconvenience. When grilling I always am sure to fill the bottom pan with water, it makes cleanup a breeze. I like that the grill top is removable, I use the burner with pans and my Camp Coffee Pot. When my husband and I bought our first house we even used it before we took delivery on our appliances and (bigger) gas grill. This is a nice starter grill, serious tailgaters will want more, but enjoyable for a couple of people and super portable for camping.

for the price, this is an awesome grill. i agree with a reviewer below, some people expect too much for the price. the unit is lightweight and very portable. the "flimsyness" does not feel like a thrift store feel. It feels quite strong for a lightweight, $40 grill.

clean up is a breeze. if you didn't read the instructions, you are suppose to fill up the water pan. the water pan is also removable. it makes cleaning such a breeze.

Being able to use this as a grill or as a stove is very convienent. Clean up is good. Portability is awesome. For $40, this is definately worth the money. Just don't expect the quality to be equal to that of a $99 grill like some reviewers on here.

This grill has been incredibly convenient. It's small, lightweight and works very well. I love that it can be used as a stove top or a grill. My husband and I camp often and this is the perfect solution for us. It's well worth $40 and any time we have people with us they are always commenting on how much they love the grill too. Not only would I recommend to take it camping but you can even use it for a day trip to the beach or something like that.

I would give it 5 starts but the electronic start mechanism clogs fairly easily which makes it difficult to start if using it more than once in a day. The easy work around is just lighting it with a match but it still doesn't function exactly perfectly after prolonged use.

I received this item and was amazed at how cheaply it was constructed. Several of the pieces had splintering wood handles. The tongs looked (and felt) like the wood had actually broken in half and had been glued back together. If I had used the set, I would have suffered from large splinters. I had this set in my possession for 15 mins before I got the return information. And it looks like I will have to pay for the return shipping to get a refund at all. Trust me, spend more money on a quality product. This experience has really reinforced the saying that "You get what you pay for"!

Don't waste your money on this! And, I would be cautious of buying anything from this shipper (Furniture Creations) if this is representative of their products!!
