They do exactly what the advertisement says. A very substantial product with a handsome, professional look.They hold the kabobs firmly so you can rotate them easily. The tines want to come closer together as you add more kabobs so you have to manage that. Also, you need to wear an oven mitts to turn them as the head gets very hot.

These are the best skewers I've ever come across. Easy to load with lots of meat, veggies, etc. No worries about burning up the bamboo. Also they clear up very easily.

The double prongs are great! No more shrimp or meat spinning on the skewers. If you hold the two prongs with one hand to keep them parallel while you thread the food on with your other hand it's a piece of cake! I'm very pleased so far.
