The Primo grill cover fits nicely. It is made of thick, durable material. It is well constructed and seems built to last. Also, the picture does not show this, but the cover actually has the Primo logo printed on the cover.great quality, perfect for protecting my PRIMO when it is sitting outside. Good investment to protect something so expensive. I highly recommend this product.

iDevices iGrill Ambient Temperature Probe -Kids Review
Being an avid BBQ-er, I used to spend many sleepless hours checking on my smoker when cooking butts, shoulders, briskets, etc. Now I no longer have to do that with the purchase of my iGrill and the ambient temperature probe. The addition of this probe to my iGrill and having the app on my phone, I no longer have to wake up every two hours (1am, 3am, 5am, 7am...) to check my temperature. If I have any heat spikes or drops, I can now get a notification on my iphone. I can also monitor a graph that shows me what the temperature was throughout the cook. It also measures temperature accurately, much better than the temperature gauge built in to my Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker. Other probes that I have used with different temperature monitors were cheaply made and the wires would quickly begin to pull away from its terminated connection at the probe end. I have not had this problem with any of the iGrill probes, which have been extensively used over the past 9 months. I don't know how I ever survived without it!
I liked the length of the probe wire.
I had to get creative in order to make the mount work inside my grill.
I would recommend this as a must-have accessory to the iGrill thermometer if knowing the air temperature of your cooking vessel is important.

I love the Igrill but some of the probes are finicky. Careful cleaning them or exposing them to too much heat. So i had to replace the first one pretty quickly.Best Deals for iDevices iGrill Ambient Temperature Probe -Kids
I've tried using this twice and the first few minutes it works great, but then I get the message "Probe not detected." I disconnected it and reconnected it several times and continued to get the same error message. My iPad had no trouble connecting to the iGrill via Bluetooth, but even at distances of 10 feet away, I kept getting the message "Probe not detected" whenever I would try to use this probe. After reading some other reviews, it appears that this is a fairly common problem with these probes. Too bad, as I really wanted the ambient probe to monitor the cooking temperature inside the grill as opposed to the meat temperature. It's really difficult to cook when you're constantly messing with a gadget that doesn't work like it's supposed to! I ended up returning mine to Amazon for a refund.Honest reviews on iDevices iGrill Ambient Temperature Probe -Kids
I bought this probe so I could monitor the air temperature in my smoker while smoking meat. Monitoring and maintaining air temperature inside the smoker is critical to the success of smoked meats.I liked the length of the probe wire.

This ambient probe was the perfect accessory for my iGrill and smoker. I have two kids so checking the temperature of a pit (as often as I'd like to) is out of the question. This made that task incredibly simple.Reviews of Weber 2840301 Summit S-470 Natural Gas Tuck-Away Rotisserie Grill

We purchased this to replace our trusty Genesis Silver B with cast-iron grates. After 10 years of frequent use, I was looking for something with more flexibility and capacity. I also had grown tired of the rust issues with the cast iron grates (yes, I know about 'seasoning'), but wanted to retain the high heat advantages that cast iron offers. The Summit S-470 has more than met my expectations. If you plan to feed a small army, consider the 600-series, but for most backyard uses the 400-series has *plenty* of usable grill area.
Key advantages:
* High-quality stainless construction. Unlike the lower-cost Weber grills and virtually *all* of the competitive alternatives, the Summit grills are made mostly of 304-grade stainless steel. This has much higher nickel content, and as a result is substantially more corrosion resistant (and more expensive). The easiest way to identify cheap stainless is that it is magnetic (so take a magnet when you compare grills). Improved corrosion resistance means that the exterior will remain beautiful for years, and the grates will last indefinitely.
* 7 independent burners on the S-470 (in addition to the side burner). Four main burners, one searing burner, one burner for the built-in stainless smoke box, and one infrared burner on the rear cover. All except the infrared burner run front-to-back. With most of them active, the grill reaches >700 degrees F in ten minutes. This provides incredible flexibility. Extremely high direct heat, completely indirect heat, crispy skin on rotisserie, lots of smoke at low heat, only part of the grill at high heat, etc... no problem. You are limited only by your imagination, not your tools.
* Extremely thick (9.5mm) grates provide excellent searing and heat retention. These work at least as well as the cast-iron grates on our old grill, but are much easier to maintain.
* High double-wall lid. This makes the grill space under the warming rack actually usable! The double-wall substantially improves performance in cold or rainy weather, and requires less gas to keep the grill hot under all conditions.
* Pop-up rotisserie. It is extremely easy to use, and quickly folds away in a weather-protected stainless pocket. Other thoughtful touches include obvious hanging storage areas for the spit and spikes in the cabinet.
* Rodent-resistant cabinet. The cabinet has double-walled doors with secure magnetic latches, lots of ventilation, and no gaping holes.
Issues:
* Very Expensive. Even on sale, the S-470 is about 3x the cost of a Genesis grill. Only you can decide if the extra flexibility is worth the extra cost. In our case I expect to get 15+ years out of this grill, and the cost is comparable to some good-quality kitchen appliances. However, the very high cost is the main reason I give this grill only 4 stars.
* Side burner has limited heat range. Presumably to prevent blow-outs that would cause safety issues, the range on the side burner is only hot to very hot. Simmering at low heat is basically impossible. For my next trick I plan to try adding a thick solid burner plate, but for now the side burner mostly does not get used.
* Lighted controls are mostly a gimmick. Fortunately they are LEDs, so corrosion should not be an issue and the batteries last for many hours. However, the lights only work on the four main burner controls, and are irritatingly bright when you happen to glance at the gap between the knob and the cabinet while reaching for the control. I added some white shrink tubing to the end of the LEDs to eliminate the latter issue, but overall the lighted controls offer limited benefit.
* Several other reviews mention a design flaw in the Summit grills which allows rainwater to flow from the back of the grill into the grease pan (making a big mess in the floor of the cabinet). Fortunately there is a simple fix. On our S-470 I put an aluminum flashing on the rear of the case using one of the bolts on each end of the grill box, similar to the way Weber handles water flow on the front. A 12" wide roll of aluminum flashing was only ten dollars at Lowes, and I cut it with scissors to fit. Now even if I forget to reinstall the cover, no water drips into the grease pan. This is not an issue with the Weber Genesis grills because the lid design is completely different (but one of the trade-offs is much lower interior space). Weber really should make something like this a running production change.
* Do *NOT* buy the Weber-brand grill cover. I like most of Weber's stuff, but their covers are very poor quality. Buy the Veranda BBQ Cart Cover instead. The 'Large' size fits the Summit 400-series perfectly, and the construction and design are far superior to the Weber covers.
Other considerations:
* These puppies use LOTS of gas! I am very glad that we were able to easily pipe natural gas to a convenient location. I can hardly imagine how fast we would be running through propane at >3x the cost!!
* If you are evaluating the stainless Genesis models, you really should consider the S-450 or S-470. The construction is substantially better and the finish will be much easier to maintain. Basically I would recommend sticking with the less expensive porcelain models, or stepping-up to the Summit grills. In addition to better materials, the front-to-back burners offer much more flexibility and control, and the side table is not covered with knobs.
* Check pricing. I buy a lot of stuff at Amazon, but we were able to find this grill for substantially (~20%) less at another reputable online vendor.
* The natural gas hose is quite thick and heavy, is apparently armored inside the PVC exterior coating, and comes with a good-quality brass 1/2" quick-disconnect. The connector on the end of the quick-disconnect is a female 1/2" IPS thread (i.e., standard steel pipe thread), so you need a male 1/2" IPS thread on the end of your supply line. Be sure to put a "O W G" (Oil/Water/Gas) rated ball valve immediately before the hose connection, and only use pipe dope or Teflon tape rated for use with gas.
* In California, galvanized pipe is *required* for outdoor gas use. According to PG&E, the western gas supply has very low levels of sulfur, so the old concerns about flaking and corrosion inside galvanized pipe are not an issue here in California.
* For rare situations where you need more grill capacity, consider the relatively inexpensive Rib-O-Lator. This is essentially a ferris-wheel with stainless trays, and will hold an amazing amount of food (and still leave parts of the grill available). There is at least one Rib-O-Lator (or Rib-O-Wheel) YouTube video with the Summit S-470, and the tall lid clearly helps. We use it mostly for ribs (surprise!), and ours fits easily inside the bottom cabinet when not in use.
* Not 100% made in USA. Several of the boxes inside the crate were clearly labeled "Made in China," including the rotisserie and both tables.
* Remove the door handles and the doors from the cabinet before removing the protective plastic coating. The doors snap-out easily if you depress the top pin, and the plastic coating is much easier to remove completely if the handles are not in the way. Each handle is held on by two Phillips-head screws and is very easy to reinstall.
* The crate weighs about 260 lbs, but if you remove the various boxes from inside the cabinet and fire-box, two people can remove the shell from the pallet. After that, you can easily roll the grill on any hard surface, and assembly is straightforward. The most tedious part of "assembly" was removing the protective plastic coating and collapsing all of the cardboard debris.

We use this grill about two or three times a week, and remain very happy. I would definitely buy this again. I've added some photos to illustrate the modifications referenced in the original review. Note that if you regularly use the smoker, the exterior stainless will inevitably get discolored near the right-side and front edges of the cover.

Amazon purchased, great price and fast easy delivery. Saved a bunch on compared to a local purchase. Love the grill, directions easy to follow for assembly. Had to run to Home Depot to get an adapter for the gas connection. Note: use the right kind of thread dope for natural gas lines and get 3 AAA batteries for the handle light. Those weren't included. Total time to assemble, run to Home Depot, install and cook up some steaks 2 hours. Grill heats up nice and quick. I love this bacon griller! The bacon tastes so much different (and better) when you cook it on the grill. I use thick sliced bacon and the only drawback is that it takes awhile for it to cook, but well worth the wait! After the first use, it sat until after breakfast. I still can't get the hardened grease off. Also in attempting to empty the tray, the container needs to be large enough to handle the grease from each side simultaneously. Alternatively paper towel can be used to absorb the excess oil, but it seems such a waste. If someone out there has some ideas for this, I'd appreciate it. First off, welcome to america, Auspit. So happy we found a quality product and from Australia. I actualy ordered mine on the auspitbbq.com website. Packaged deals offered at discounts. The packages arrived a few days after placing the order. (shipping hub in L.A.). 20 mine after it was dropped off, I had this solid beast out of the boxes, and simply figured out by site how it all goes together. Then headed for the market and picket up two full chickens and 4 large baking potatoes. Read down the direction pretty fast and got going. If you have bbq experience and love doing it, then invest in this magical piece of beauty. It has one purpose, to make your food to tasty and delicous. I have now to date owned mine for 3 days, and will have used all 3 of those days doing 4 birds and a lot of potatoes and onions and bells. Enjoy watching your food turn to golden mouth watering glory. Just feed fire.I really liked the Auspit!! Works great and if you like cooking over an open flame this is what you need. With the stainless clean up is easy.

Straight out of the box, I managed to make three batches of perfect kebabs on my first attempt with this set. Yes, I bought three sets. Beef, Mediterranean lamb, and Asian chicken all turned out perfectly. The points are sharp enough to pierce meat and vegetables, but dull/safe enough that they don't pierce your fingers. The skewers are flattened just enough that they're still small (didn't split onions), but the chicken didn't spin around like it can do on single wooden skewers. Some reviews suggested that the meat was not resting on the grill it's not really supposed to be, indirect heat works best. The height of the stands was perfect for 1-1/4" cubes of meat and vegetables to just lightly contact the grill(1-1/4" cubes are ideal for slight char on outside yet still cooked through over med-high heat without overcooking veg).
So, perfect results, why not 5 stars? I'm giving a 4 out of 5 for three reasons the frame folds, and can be a little tricky on the grill lifting the skewers to turn them (probably just need to get used to them). The rings at the top of the skewers have a slight gap, and when they don't have food on them, they tend to get stuck to each other worse than a bunch of empty clothes hangers. The notches where the skewers rest in the frame are rounded at the bottom, so the skewers sometimes want to rotate to one side or the other (hard to control the precise angle critical for 90-degree rotation every 2-3 minutes.)
Two of these fit on the grill at the same time (I've just got an average-sized propane grill). Just make sure to place the rings on the outside on both sets (away from each other) for ease of access with tongs for rotating.

I bought it because I wanted a stove top stainless griddle that's not simply a pan. I use mine on a gas stove top, I took bolt cutters and cut slots into the support bracing (underneath the cooking surface) where the grates on my stove are so it sits flat and securely. Works quite well with that modification, I can post a few pictures as well if need be.
If you plan to use it on a stove top without modifying it to sit into the grates of your stove, then be aware that it will likely not sit right. Possibly rocking or sliding around are both issues I came across before I modified it.
I will note that if you make the same modification you have to take into account that the bracing is necessary for the structure not to warp under heat, so you have to be careful how you modify it to leave as many of the underside bracing and welds intact. Also while this modification is very effective on a gas stove top it would not work on an electric burner, though that would seem obvious I would like to state that so there is no confusion.
It only gets 4 stars because...
1. I had to modify it for my needs, even though it's the best griddle that suits my needs at reasonable price, it was worth the trouble to get and modify it to suit my needs.
2. While it is heavy stainless, it is still relatively thin, all things considered. The result is that on a stove top, with concentrated points of heat, the heat is not diffused very well. So you end up with 2 hot spots (Not an issue on a grill though as the heat is already diffused). The support structure underneath the griddle also serves to focus the flames onto sections underneath the griddle surface, further focusing the heat onto a smaller area.
Even with the 2 downsides, I still bought it, still like it, would get it again, and give it 4 stars.perfect for using on the grill. a good size and easy to clean. really nice product and it came quickly.

I find this brush very well made and has strong stainless steel bristles. It is a great size so I can clean my grill that much faster. I haven't had a chance to use the bottled opener on the end but that will be handy in the summer. The only complaint I would have is that the metal scapper is small but since I am cooking on stainless steel grids, I rarely need to use the scapper. Overall I would say that it is by far the best quality brush I have ever owned but it is worth it to preserve my Napoleon grill.

I'm very pleased with the brush, but it was supposed to have 1 replacement head which was not included in the shipment.Best Deals for Napoleon 62035 Elite Grill Brush
I have a Napoleon prestige p450 grill that I absolutely love. I bought their grill brush to go along with it it. It failed (broke off at the business end) one day after the 30-day amazon return window. I am going to see if Napoleon will stand behind the brush like it stands behind its grills. DO NOT buy this brush. Napoleon typically makes nothing less than awesome products. The quality differential may be due to the fact this brush was made in China, unlike Napoleon's grills which are made in Canada.Review of Black Maverick Remote Smoker Dual Probe Wireless Thermometer ET-73

It's nice to be able to check the temps of meat and smoker, from indoors, but you need to be close. Not getting 100 feet of range out of mine....perhaps if it was in line of sight and outdoors, it would, but with the receiver in my house, not that far. Should come with the high temp wires, not ask you to buy them extra. Overwrap the wires with Alum foil (not tight) to help them last longer.

I had no trust in the built in thermometer that came with my smoker so I needed this device to validate the internal temps of my new smoker. It was exactly what I needed to tell me that the built in thermometer is about 20 degrees off.Best Deals for Black Maverick Remote Smoker Dual Probe Wireless Thermometer ET-73

Gets one star, because 0 is not an option. Measures against a Maverick unit and a Poldor instant read. Those 2 were within 2 degrees. This gauge was off by 20 to 40 degrees. So it is useless and can't be calibrated
Does still work for now.

Looks great. Wish it was more durable. The vinyl is pretty lightweight. I'm hoping it'll stand up to the winter season.shipping was prompt, just a little disappointed on how lightweight it was.If I was to do it again I would have paid the extra money for the heavier weight cover

This is my second Poultry Button. I panicked when I broke my first! I roast my chicken outdoors on a gas grill at 500 degrees and I used to use the traditional methods of deciding if my chicken was done (leg moves easily, juice runs clear when leg is pierced, etc.) Once I got the button, I found out I was generally cooking it 15 minutes longer than I really needed to. It was good before but now it's great! Skin is still crispy and meat is even juicier. I like that you don't have to keep placing it and taking it out, you place it before the chicken goes on the grill. That way, I have the lid open for less time.

I have used this thermometer for several years, in an attempt to take the guess work out of determining when my steak was med-rare. Steaks are expensive. and when you have to grill to several different done preferances, to suit your family members choices its difficult for me to tell when each steak has reached its chosen doneness. So I purchased one steak button, I have used the fork probes with less that diserable results. But the button really works, I have found though that you need to have your steaks cut 1-1/2"s thick the button works perfect at that thickness. 1" does not work so well, and I always wait untill after I have seared each side and turned down the fire before inserting the button. Heat from searing temp will blacken the guage making it difficult to read, I found out the hard way. After searing I hold the steak between tongs and insert it all the way in. being careful to center it. Its pretty easy with a steak thats atleast 1-1/2" thick, the thicker the easier it is. Thin steaks are just hard to get it centered, and you get a reading that is not right. So now I use 2 steak buttons one for med-rare, and one for med-well. And guage the rest of the steaks. It works for me and its the only thing that has, but now I'm getting better at poking the steaks with my finger and using the button to confirm the results.Best Deals for Charcoal Companion Reusable Poultry Button Thermometer
These work well, you have to put then sideways into your steak. I would like the dial to be a bit larger, but that is my eyesight issue! One warning, do not use these in a frying pan with oil, they stopped working entirely as the oil penetrated the dial, use them on a BBQ grill only and you will be happy.Honest reviews on Charcoal Companion Reusable Poultry Button Thermometer

These are a nice idea but a pain to use. they smoke up right away and are hard to read to begin with without magnification.
