I own a pair of these gloves and purchased these for my daughter who has decided that grilling is great. These gloves with the high cuff work perfectly for handling tongs and grill baskets over the 400 degree coals we use for cooking. The glove allow us to pick up hot items without burning hands. The gloves are comfortable to wear and flexible enough to handle all the items we use in grilling. No problem with heat penetration of the leather. These are great for moving the chip tray and water pan while using the smoker. Keeps the nasty black tarry stuff off my hands.

I bought these gloves to make it easier to rotate my ke-bobs on the grill. They work great at insulating my hands from the heat. However, the protection doesn't last forever and you can't just leave your hands over the fire indefinitely.

Apparently, I got some food on one of the gloves because I came out to see my dog chewing on the right glove and tore a whole near the thumb. So, it looks like I'll be buying another set of these.

Money well spent. I never was impressed with the tool holder from Weber that is made out of wire. The wire version is 1/3 the price, but you get what you pay for. I use my Weber kettle as a low temperature smoker (250 degrees), and it's vital to keep the temp constant for 6-8 hours. My initial concern was the the tool holder would cause an air leak between the bottom and lid, and create a problem, but the fit is tight as ever, and my latest smoke with this tool holder in place was the same as before using it. HIGHLY recommended addition to the Weber, so spend the extra money on this version.

Not much to say that hasn't been said in the few reviews so far. It really doesn't get hot, fits my 22.5" kettle perfectly and does what it's supposed to do including looks good.

The only thing I could say I'd like to see different is narrower "hooks" for some tools that don't have a strap but have smaller holes. But I haven't been able to find ant tool that I use that doesn't work just fine with it though.

I don't really see what there is to say about this. It looks just like the picture. It seems very well made. It hangs on the side of the grill very easily. It hold up to three utensils (or more with strings attached to them). I have no complaints about this, other than the fact that it should have been included into the cost of the actual grill.

Anyway, if you have a Weber, buy this with no regrets. I can't even imagine what a negative review would look like for this product.

This product is unfit for its intended use. The first time I used it -to grill vegetables on a gas grill at lower than medium heat (two burners on medium, the third off) -the synthetic part of the "heat resistant" handle melted! Some of the melting "plastic" got all over the food. Even worse, when the entire mess cooled, it was virtually impossible to remove the small globs that had stuck to the body of grilling pan. There are very good products that serve this function. Stay away from this one.

I had one of the other tools from this company, and it was very nice, wood handle, seemingly good construction, looked really good and was reasonable for a nice quality product.

So I purchased 2 of these brushes (one each for my two houses) and two of the replacement brush heads. I was ready to commit to this product :)

So after cooking up a meal on the BBQ, I bust out my rosewood grill brush, and slide it across the grill. I started to notice that some of the brush bristles were falling out all over the grill. I did another slide across the grill. More bristles were falling out. This continued for a third time until about 30% of the bristles had fallen out of this piece of junk. I'm not sure what happened. I'm not sure how they are affixing the bristles, whether it is glue or mechanically (trapping the metal ends somehow) or what...but with a relatively light pressure slide across the grill, this thing totally fell apart. I am not a body builder, and I was not getting angry at the grill here :) I applied the same pressure as I did with the $3.99 all plastic throw away grill brush that this thing was supposed to replace, but on this one, the bristles fell out.

Anyway, I returned this thing which Amazon took back with no issues which is cool.

I looked for another brush but gave up. Now I just use the sharp end of the spatula, or the tongs so I can do 2 sides at once) and scrape the stuff off the grill. I'm using this on Weber Genesis grills from a few year ago that have the ceramic grills. This method takes longer than a brush but probably gets it cleaner.

When I covered my grill with this it was not full length as the description states. I am using this on a Phoenix, 2 shelf grill and it is large enough to go over each side but does not extend to the floor. Although, it does have a velcro stip on each side, about 8 inches long, on the bottom that fastens to pinch the sides in. It is a heavy material so hopefully will hold up over time.

Works perfectly on my Weber Summit S-670 Really simple and easy to clean too. Not sure why Weber doesn't make a grate lifter for their 9mm SS grates, least if they do...I haven't found it and I looked all over their site. Oh well, chalk one up for Fire Magic. Those 9mm thick grates are heavy and when they're dirty...well...they're nasty. Use this and it picks it right up and out and allows you to carry it around easily.

Cheap Bayou Classic 0770-PDQ Leg and Wing Rack

I haved used this in the oven and on the grill and was pleased with the results. The legs were golden brown, crispy, moist, and delicious. For the oven, I placed the rack on a large jelly roll pan (it's too long to fit in a 13x9 pan) lined with foil. The grease drippings from the legs will generate a lot of smoke inside the oven so the directions say to pour a 1/4 cup of water inside the pan to prevent smoking. I had to do that a couple of times. I sprayed the rack with a little cooking spray before loading it up and cleaning it was easy.

The rack should be used with indirect heat on the grill. I pushed the coals to one side of the grill and was able to use the additional space under the rack and in front of it to grill additional items at the same time. It takes about 30-45 minutes to cook the legs through depending on the size. You can always pull the smaller ones off while the larger one continue to cook. I cooked my first batch in the oven for 45 minutes and even the smaller ones were juicy. The grilled ones were even better since I tossed on a handful of wood chips.

The rack is sturdy and easily supports the legs. I thought they would probably fall off once they shrank a bit from cooking but they didn't. I haven't tried wings on it yet.

This is the original version from Bayou which is made of Stainless Steel. I got the down-grade version in nickel-plated steel at Lowe's for $4.97 works the same plus the rack now could be fold to save storage space. Usually I grill chicken legs and wings at direct heat to increase the cooking speed but the skin is always burned and skull still raw. This rack will enable me to use both indirect or direct heat, minimize energy lost by open the grill cover for constant toss and turn, increase cooking capacity (which is good for party), and foolproof for a crispy outside and tender inside lean chicken legs and wings. I recommend to get 2 of these to optimize the use of your gas grill. Put them on drip pan with some water to reduce smoke, lighten task for cleanup and prevent dryness when use in elec oven.

It worked great, and I am a gadget lover, so I found it fun to use as well. The legs were evenly cooked, and not burnt.When placing them directly on the grill rack, I often wouldn't turn them fast enough, thus burning one side of the legs, but with this, you just set them in the slots, let them cook, and in my case, add bbq sauce toward the end of grilling. It's also nice not to have the skin and some of the meat stuck to the grill if you don't turn them enough-this happens invariably in my case. I used a BBQ temp gauge fork Maverick ET-53 BarbBFork Fork Thermometerthat I bought in the same order to check them when I thought they looked done, and indeed they were cooked through perfectly. I used Perdue drumsticks and suffered no casulties due to shrinkage/slippage. I will post some photos of the cooked legs under the product picture above. Happy grilling!

**update** To be fair, and in the interest of full disclosure, yes, I have had one leg that tried to escape. While it did manage to free itself from its leg constraint, it did not manage to get far and ultimately suffered the same fate as its brethren. Just wanted to put that out there as I said in my initial review that I had suffered no "leg slippage".

You'll note on the packaging that there are no photos of wings hanging from the rack even though it is called a "leg and wing rack". Ditto for the manufacturers website.

I'm not sure how you could completely load the racks with 12 wings without them sort of laying on each other sideways. I bought two racks and was able to space out the 18 wings I cooked.

That said, the wings came out the crispy and like fried without being fried, in part thanks to a spritz of pam-type cooking spray.

Nice heavy griddle but definitely not for stove use as stated in the description. The grease drain (the little tube on underside of grease tray) is the problem. This should have been made without the drain as there is plenty of space in the tray for grease. The tube makes it so you cannot use this griddle on your stove top. Currently, my husband is trying to figure out the best way to saw it off or grind it off and plug it up. Too bad they made it this way as a customer should not have to modify the thing to make it work on a gas stove when the ad says it is for "Stove or Grill". If this did not have the grease tube, it would be perfect as it covers 4 of my 6 burners.

Grill Daddy GB91061 Grill Cleaning Tool Review

I am knocking off one star simply because there is a design flaw, but it is easily overcome.

When you close tight the fill cap, there is no where for air to enter the handle to allow the water to flow out.

If you remove the cap, it works great, tho I may simply drill a small air hole into the handle somewhere. I am afraid of just loosening it as it may fall into the hot grill during use.

It is better than spashing water with a cup because it releases a small amount of water at the exact moment of the brush's contact with the grill. You may get similar effect by dipping a SS brush into water each and every stroke, but that sounds like a lot of work as well.

I simply clean the grill while it is still hot just after cooking and even between batches if I see a need. It only take a few seconds and is much easier than turning it on later just to clean it or leaving all that gunk on there until you next want to grill something (and then waiting for it to re-heat again). The added bonus is that it cools down the grill that much faster so I can put the top on again that much sooner.

I have tried many different methods and before this, I had settled on one of those grill cleaning bricks (which, in turn, I had to clean every month or so with a SS scrubber and soapy hot water)

One reviewer of the pro suggested it melted onto the grill. Since SS does not melt, I suspect he was pushing so hard the grill bars went past the bristles and touched the base. There is no need to push that hard at all. Either that or he cleans it with the high flames still on and they reach the plastic. Turn down/off the flames just before using it.

I like that the removeable brush is held into place with a wingnut because other removable heads I have had, had problems with the brush slideing out of the handle while I was using it.

The pro gets better reviews and may be a better design, but this was an impulse buy for me at BBB with one of their 20% off coupons.

My wife is always looking for ways to make me more helpful around the house. She knows I hate to clean the grill even though I use it a lot. I got tired of buying steel brushes to clean the grill and have them all gummed up in a few weeks. She bought me the Grill Daddy and I finally got around to trying it and it works pretty good. You have to turn the grill on high and you load the Grill Daddy with about a cup of water and you go to work. The water on the hot grill turns to steam and it got my grill looking like new. Now, it didn't help me with all the other cleaning that I had to do on my Webber gas grill. I still have to spend a Saturday afternoon taking care of all that is below the grill. However, I know I can get the grill clean in a relatively short period of time. I only used it once and I know it came with an extra set of brushes but I don't think that these brushes will gum up all that soon. (Especially since I don't clean the grill that often). However, I couldn't help but see all the gunk on the grill fall away into the drop pan rather than sticking to the brush.

I won this product at my Company's secret Santa Christmas party. I was hesitant on how well it would work given it's an "as seen on TV" product. However, it works better than any grill brush I've ever used. The brush has 3 small holes located where the bristles are, so as you brush your grill, the movement of the brush causes water to leak out the holes onto the grill. The water helps to steam away cooked on food, and then the brushes scrap it off. It works wonderfully and gets my grill perfectly clean for the next meal. Just make sure you let your grill pre-heat to about 400 degrees, then in about 15 seconds of scrubbing with this brush, it's perfectly clean and ready to use. I would highly recommend this product.

Ordered this a while ago and just used it. I have a weber grill and have had it for years. I have used heavy duty brushes to clean the grill but nothing has done the job this one does. Get the grill nice and hot, fill it up with water and start scraping. The water comes out at a nice pace and along with the brush which is quality it cleans it extremely well. I was impressed how nice a job it does without the heavy or hard scraping. Worth the price.

are handy, have the tool's you can adapt this thing to fit,

This appears to be a one size is supposed to fig many grill approach to an ignitor. I've had this char-broil grill for 10 years and it has performed well but the ignitor was the 1st thing to go. So I've been lighting it with an extended bic lighter manually. No big deal.

I bought this a spent an hour fiddling with it to make it work about 3 times. It does not fit well, the wire contact touches the frame of the grill grounding it out. It is just a waste of time for my specific grill.

I wish I had my money back along with my hour of time wasted.

I'm going back to the simple bic lighter. How hard is that?

btw the button is decent and good quality it seems. The weakness is the mounting hardware for the ignitor assembly and the way it attaches to the existing burner element.

Cooking surface allowed hamburgers to be cooked without sticking and breaking and the holes are so small, items don't fall through. Only downside is that there is rust at the joints where they're soddered. Overall I would recommend this purchase.

I love the idea of this grill. It is solidly constructed and fits our firepit perfectly. Unfortunately, I will be returning the grill because the paint finish on the top of the grill is seriously flawed. There are rough spots on the top of the grill that are not well painted and are already rusty. I can't imagine that this grill would maintain it's remaining finish for very long. Unacceptable for the price!

I bought this to fit on the stone firepit we built at our camp. We have gotten many compliments about it and how good everything is that is cooked on it. When finished cooking it is even possible to take it off the fire by the handles.

No problems with the finish. Don't use a grill brush on it. Oil it with a papertowel before using and after cleaning before putting it away and nothing sticks. We hang ours on a hook in a tree to cool and then wash with dish detergent on a sponge and hose off. Oil lightly before putting away. We store it in the box it arrived in. Will be getting my Mother and Step-Father one for Christmas because they like it so much.

It did warp a bit in the middle over the heat (the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars) but still performed beautifully. Now, we're going to install a fire pit in our back yard so we can enjoy it more often!

I purchased this item before builg my fire pit in August 2013.Was looking ok,paint looks durable so,overall make me happy.Last week we finished our firepit. Yesterday I try to cook on new grill first time.After cooking few steaks and chickens legs this unit start waved from all sides,but more on the center,it's banded up and down on all directions and food start slide on center,then slided on sides and finally all food went inside in charcoil tray.I burn all food,I burn my hands and arms by trying to catch this unit.I try to ask for return today,but it's showing that my time for return was 09/22/2013 because I ordered earlier then was ready to cook.I think it's not right,but looks like ONLY THE TIME is important and if you do not try item same time MUST KEEP and waste the money if anything not working.
