The Mini Burger itself was enjoyed by my guest because they could have different types of burgers. My husband adds different spices to the meat he grills, he grills burgers with different meats, this Mini Burger allowed guests to have more than one, or two burgers without feeling guilty about over eating. (Thats a run-on sentence) Oh Well!

I guess everybody knows what a "slider" is and to use this you have to get used to the right handful size of hamburger meat that will fit into each of the holes and mix it with crushed saltines so they don't fall apart on you. A lot of work when you are feeding hungry folks, and good luck finding little slider buns. The idea was to simulate White Castle burgers and I guess that just isn't an easy thing to do from my perspective. I went back to the frozen variety since we don't have White Castle in MD.

Alpha 2102 Propane Regulator Review

Alpha 2102 Propane Regulator
Customer Ratings: 4 stars

I replaced the line and regulator that come with an outdoor Wok burner. I had fiddled with the original regulator when I had a problem lighting the burner. Turned out to be a problem with a full propane tank. After that I didn't trust the regulator so I purchased this one. It works fine.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I made the mistake of ordering this product along with a BUNSEN BURNER, LP GAS WITH THREADED GAS NEEDLE VALVE. The Alpha 2102 regulator has a brass fitting that will not allow it to be used with Bunsen burners that have barbed hose attachments. Even if you cut the brass fitting off, the inside diameter of the hose is too large for most barbed Bunsen burner fittings.

In addition, the unit I received had a permanent kink in the hose where the hose connects to the regulator. The hose was folded tightly in the packing, causing the kink. I could not work out the kink to make the hose round -the tubing had been kinked to the point where the tubing was not only permanently kinked but also discolored (whitish), indicating the tubing was damaged. Even if this item had fit my Bunsen burner I would've returned it because I would not trust the hose with a flammable gas.

It's hard to find the right parts for the older Webers, so I can confirm for you that this one is a perfect fit for the Genesis Gold B (2000-2001) models. If you need to find other parts, the Weber site is helpful, but don't go to the Order A Part link, go instead to the Schematics and search by grill family. That gives the actual part numbers.

Regal 490 Pro Natural Gas Grill Review

Regal 490 Pro Natural Gas Grill
Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

This was a Warehouse purchase on a shipping damage return (minor), and I would probably have bought a lower BK model (like the Sovereign 90) otherwise, but the Regal 490 is a deluxe grill. Everything is stainless clad except the caster base and the side table bodies (SS-clad plastic). It is not a super thick stainless but the grill weighs 190 pounds....Assembly was 2 hours and pretty straightforward though a couple of manual "inserts" were loose that should have been bound in....and it is drawings-only no text (would have had to be tri-lingual I guess). The 3/8" flex supply tube comes with a brass quick-connect but was only about 10 ft long so I had to extend the black pipe supply line away from the house under the deck. I like evrrything about the design except maybe the grids, which are a "really tight squeeze" around sheet matal screws for which there is a notch in the grip....they include a handled "grid lifter" which is absolutely useless for heavy cast grids like these. The grids are the reversible tapered-and-grooved style, and I'll have to experiment....the tapered grids leave great grill marks

Now for the good part -these burners put out an incredible amount of heat. 4 burners on high will top 700 degrees in under 15 minutes (not a good idea....for all 4 burners keep at med-high or lower once it is fired up)! To maintain 375 takes only 2 burners at medium-high after its hot. I've never had a propane grill that even approximately approaches this. Should be possible to dial down to lower temperatures. Searing steaks will be the style of choice. We did inch-thick pork loin chops and ahi steaks seared and the cooking took about 7 minutes both sides -perfection.

The rear burner is conventional not infrared, but that will be easier to maintain. The rotisserie kit is the lighter duty of the two BK sells, lets see how that works.

Having natural gas is a treat (consistent gas pressure) plus the way this cooks, we'd be going through a lot of propane tanks. The double tube burner heats the box completely evenly . I'm really happy with the capability of this grill. MADE IN USA, or so it says...

With its cast iron grills, this unit turns out excellent steaks (with the restaurant style hatch type grill marks) and very very juicy hamburgers...probably the best I have ever cooked. One disadvantage of the grill is that it appears to be cheaply constructed. The materials are good, but the unit construction could use some tweaking. All in all, I am pleased with my purchase and expect to enjoy it excellent functionality for years to come.

Money well spent. I never was impressed with the tool holder from Weber that is made out of wire. The wire version is 1/3 the price, but you get what you pay for. I use my Weber kettle as a low temperature smoker (250 degrees), and it's vital to keep the temp constant for 6-8 hours. My initial concern was the the tool holder would cause an air leak between the bottom and lid, and create a problem, but the fit is tight as ever, and my latest smoke with this tool holder in place was the same as before using it. HIGHLY recommended addition to the Weber, so spend the extra money on this version.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

Not much to say that hasn't been said in the few reviews so far. It really doesn't get hot, fits my 22.5" kettle perfectly and does what it's supposed to do including looks good.

The only thing I could say I'd like to see different is narrower "hooks" for some tools that don't have a strap but have smaller holes. But I haven't been able to find ant tool that I use that doesn't work just fine with it though.

Best Deals for Weber 6431 Charcoal Grill Tool Holder

Works well as advertised.

Pros: Clips on easily, good build quality and looks nice on the grill. Holds most grill tools, even non-Weber ones.

Cons: Sometimes gets in the way of hanging the kettle lid but slides around easily. Ironically the ease of sliding is periodically annoying when trying to quickly hang a tool.

Honest reviews on Weber 6431 Charcoal Grill Tool Holder

I was going to buy the little wire Weber tool holder, but this one looked more solid. It does just what it's supposed to. Holds the tools easily and doesn't transfer heat to them. I bought a second one to hold the rest of my BBQ tools!

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Weber 6431 Charcoal Grill Tool Holder

I don't really see what there is to say about this. It looks just like the picture. It seems very well made. It hangs on the side of the grill very easily. It hold up to three utensils (or more with strings attached to them). I have no complaints about this, other than the fact that it should have been included into the cost of the actual grill.

Anyway, if you have a Weber, buy this with no regrets. I can't even imagine what a negative review would look like for this product.

I agree with previous review from NILES (OCT 2011) I also ordered the 41653 Briquettes (4 sided green pyramids) and received the 8 sided pink briquettes instead. The steeper 4 sided briquettes do a better job at preventing flare-ups and keeping fats etc from dripping down below the grill plate.

OK, let's start this out by saying I bought this to replace a 9 year old "Members Mark" (Grand Hall) stainless grill that came out when stainless was just starting to become available, let alone mainstream. The Mark cost around 700 dollars and came with a rotisserie and a cover. Heavy enough to be an anchor for the Queen Mary, it was stainless on the outside and steel on the inside; which became it's demise and a constant fight since it was two years old. By the way, my grill NEVER sits in the weather.

In my lifetime, the Napoleon is the 4th top of the line grill I've purchased. I don't mind spending, if the quality is there and frankly, so far, it hasn't been. With the Napoleon, everything is an option, so, since I always had everything I could get before, let's equip the new grill.

The grill is 1,259 dollars, plus the side enclosures (not available at Amazon) at 179 dollars. Rotisserie will set you back another 117 bucks and the cover is 61.50. Add in 8% for NYS sales tax and the total comes to $1,745.82 dollars. (shipping was free) Can you say this is ONE EXPENSIVE grill? I didn't pay that for my first car. Granted, I am 53, but it seems to me, kids aren't shelling out this kind of coin for a grill either.

So, how does the Napoleon stack up?

Pro's: If you look at my pictures, you can see it is VERY good looking with the side enclosures. Sort of like an outdoor kitchen. All stainless grill head, wrap around condiment trays, lighted dials, tons of storage, sear burner, rotisserie burner; and did I mention it's really good looking?

Con's: EXPENSIVE! Painted steel cabinet's, parts were missing, oversize bolt holes, (making alignment pretty near impossible) grooves cut into the lid, and ice bucket cover. (from the die cutter for the protective film) Door and fascia stainless stained under the film, (they won't come out) very thin stainless in the grill head, and very deceiving warranty. Oh, and did I mention this thing costs a boat load of money?

Gosh folks, I really hate to write negative reviews. Especially when I'm the one who paid for it. But here we go...

Napoleon is a Canadian company out of Barrie, Ontario and the Mirage line, seems to be their consumer/ pro-sumer line of grills. On their site they talk of an alliance with an overseas supplier and how much oversight they take. In other words, this grill is made in China! A 1700 dollar grill made in China. They talk about their "Presidents Choice Lifetime Warranty" like it's the holy grail of warrantees. It's NOT. (more on that below)

Amazon used UPS freight and the box didn't have a scratch on it. (way to go Amazon!) The pieces were well packed and there was not a scratch on anything due to shipping. Too bad the same wasn't true when it came to the manufacturing side of it.

It went together easy enough, save for those darned oversize holes. They make it impossible to perfectly center the bolts to the panels. As a result, the right side door needed shims so it would align with the center panel. And again, the side enclosure needed the same door shims. Obviously this thing is crooked and the oversize holes, in my opinion, are the reason why. The panels are painted steel, not stainless, and there is no frame. The panels are the only thing holding this thing together and while this makes for a very pleasantly light grill, if and when the panels rust out, this thing will collapse on you. For 1700 bucks...

The lid is double lined, so it shouldn't discolor from the heat, but it has grooves cut in it from the protective shipping film die cutter. There's just NO EXCUSE for this. These grooves in the lid, and the side ice cover, will never even come close to coming out. Obviously, if Napoleon does give the kind of oversight to this Chinese company they say they do, then they consider this damage acceptable. I do not.

While the stainless in the head is thin, it is well crimped and folds pressed into it to make it quite rigid. The burners (including sear, and rotisserie) don't seem to be much thicker either. Will it stand the test of time? That I don't know. The doors and stainless fascia seems to be made out of a cheaper grade of stainless, it's very rough to the touch, stained in various places, and won't polish to any kind of a shine. It seems like it might become a dirt magnet. I sure hope not as I'm stuck with this thing.

The Limited Lifetime "Presidential Warranty:" Essentially is a 5 year warranty on the stainless in the head and shelves, a two year on the valves, cooking grids, sear and rotisserie burners and electronics, and a 1 year on the rest. They say they'll sell you the parts for half price after this. Well, in all fairness, they do say "Limited" but wow! Very limited indeed. Apparently, they don't have a lot of faith in their "overseas partners" either. I'd kind of like to know how "Lifetime" even entered the conversation. Since they charged me 7 bucks for a silly little grease cup, something tells me half off the parts is still going to be very expensive. By the way, nothing in the warranty even mentions the painted steel panels holding this whole thing together. Does that mean they have no warranty at all?

Curved cooking grids: While Napoleon seems to think there's nothing like a steak seared with curved lines in it, try getting the natural curve of an Italian sausage out when you can't put it in between two straight grids. How silly. Fine, put the darned curved grid over the sear burner and leave the rest alone!

Parts: My box had the wrong bolt pack in it. It was missing the bolts and washers to attach the side tables, although it did give me batteries for a push button ignition system I don't have. I had bolts in stock, so I did get her together and anyone can make a mistake when packing. But the grease cup and the bracket to hold it on were also missing. Hey Napoleon, maybe it's time for a little more oversight on those overseas partners!

The reason I bought this thing site unseen online, is because there is nothing out here locally that has an all stainless grill head. I'm 53 and don't want to keep having to buy these things. I know what I want, and once again, I didn't get it. Although, this grill may be the closest thing available. If it holds up, I'm happy; that's all I want here...

Conclusion: The Napoleon Mirage 605RSB is one beautiful grill. No doubt about that. It has a wow factor unlike any Weber out there. The people who designed it did a great job. Too bad the people who built it didn't do it in same. The essential arithmetic is this: Will this grill outlast two Weber grills? (which is roughly the same money) I highly doubt it and judging by the warranty they give you, Napoleon probably highly doubts it as well.

Would I have bought this grill sitting in a showroom all put together? That's hard to say, but after seeing the cuts in the top, probably not. To me, that shows an obvious lapse in quality control and begs the question; "what about the stuff I can't see."

It's a Year Old Now:

Keep in mind, my grill has a roof over it, but it's outside. It can get some rain and snow on it but just a dusting, or dampness.

Some have asked for a follow up review and here it is. So, how did it go? Let me start by saying I grill a lot! And this grill is up to the task.

Pros: No rust at all anywhere. The fasteners are rust proof. The rep. said the sides are galvanized, I agree they must be. There would be some rust somewhere if they weren't. No rust at all! This thing runs hot. I still have to get used to it. It warms up in around 3 minutes. My old one took 15. And, this thing sips propane. I went through all last season on a little over ONE tank, and so far this season, I'm still on the one from last year. No need to use natural gas on this baby. My old grill used at least four tanks per season, so this is really a pleasant surprise. The staining and the die cutting marks did indeed go away. It took a lot of elbow grease, but they're gone. The back lights still work fine. The grease tray is a really great design; it's like a giant funnel. But, quite frankly, I use good meats so grease build up would be at a minimum in any event.

Cons: Indeed, the cabinet stainless is a cheaper quality, a magnet sticks to it. But, there's no rust and it doesn't hold dirt any worse then the rest of it. Grease drippings really get into it however. Certainly not a deal breaker. The auto start system gets finicky in wet weather. But one has always lit and that's all you need to fire the whole thing up. The stainless burners get cherry red and makes me worry about how long they'll last. But so far, so good. I still hate the curved grates. One moved over a bit from the heat and I did drop a burger down it. That's the first time I've ever done that. The grates also tear up my cleaning brush pad because of that curve. Still, not a deal breaker, but the convoluted warranty could be.

Over all, I'm very pleased with this grill a year after the fact. The Mirage is very good looking and it cooks just as good. If anything comes up, I'll write more to this review. Cheers!

I own a charcoal grill and gas grill. My JenAir Gas Grill bit the dust after 7 years. I did a lot of research to replace my gas grill. After my research, I decided I wanted the Napolean Mirage Gas Grill. I shopped the price and Amazon had the best price. The product arrived on time. I put it together myself. Not difficult to assemble. I have been using this grill and I am amazed at how much better it is than the JenAir Grill. The food taste like if not better than my charcoal grill which amazes me. My meats have been more juicy than my charcoal grill and this is just on the regular side of the grill not the Infrared burner section. This is a great grill. Yes, more expensive than many on the market but it is worth it.

Cheap Weber Style 18902 Barbecue Apron, Brown

Weber Style 18902 Barbecue Apron, Brown
Customer Ratings: 5 stars

Saw this model in my local True Value yesterday $20.00, which at the time wasn't priced to make me pull the trigger. It is basically a redesign of their Weber 6474 Barbecue Apron, Black $10, Two medium sized pockets right in front with an adustable neck strap; meaning...the side strap and the neck strap are all one piece, you pull on the side to make the neck smaller and vice versa. The old Weber 2 pocket looked really "blah", black with a red kettle, but this new model looks classy with the Weber logo bordered by two pieces of gray accents.

The material is light weight which is perfect for summer time grilling. I have the Weber Style 6452 Barbecue Apron which is more heavy duty and perfect for the cooler months. I grill atleast twice a week and have noticed that my current apron feels a bit heavy in these 100deg hot summer days. Now seeing this on the lightning deals I'm definately jumping on it to save the $10 over the Retail brick and mortar price.

My only design wish would have been to include a pocket for a probe thermometer. I'm gonna have to get the wife to sew on a small piece of fabric to hold it.

I bought this for my husband. We are happy with the quality but the color was much lighter than it looked on the computer screen, and not in a good way. I wouldn't say it is a nice looking apron. It is almost the color of a caramel candy. The apron itself is a lighter brown than the brown trim (on screen it looks like the faux leather trim is lighter). The weight is good stiffer than a woman would want but good for a man. Just keep the color in mind if you order it.

Best Deals for Weber Style 18902 Barbecue Apron, Brown

This is a very nice cloth apron. I'd say it's a medium weight cloth more than enough to protect. The color is dark brown with darker faux-leather accents. It really looks brown to my eye; the apron is not the color of the picture displayed here. It's a much nicer brown. The neck loop and straps are one piece so they are adjustable. The apron has two pockets as you can see in the picture. Each pocket is 7" x 7". The apron is about 35" from the neckline to the bottom hem. It hits me (5'10") just about knee height. It is 29" in width. The tie-straps are not quite long enough to wrap around and tie in the front but I'm a big guy; the ends touch but that's all.

I was very surprised at the quality of this item considering the price. The plastic is very sturdy...not some cheap plastic. The unit feels good in your hands. This is an excellent value for the price.

EDIT: 5/16/11

I just wanted to add that this unit has been working perfectly for the last few years. I wanted to point out that I use this with the small "Smokey Joe" Weber grill. I do not use this on a full size grill. I think you would want a brush with a longer handle if you were using a full-size grill otherwise you might burn yourself. For my small grill, this brush works just fine. It is comfortable, has great ergonomics, and is built very well.

I had this brush for a couple weeks. I have a grill with a strange grant (not bars), and the bristles weren't quite long enough. Also, probably to my own fault, this product sat in a cup of water until it evaporated. At this time, the bristles fell out immediately and an orange rust (I think rust) remained on the brush. You're probably better off getting a brush at the grocery store.

This is an inexpensive brush that does as advertised. Good quality manufacture, though obviously its plastic not wooden. I didn't think the short handle would be an issue actually it can be a bit uncomfortable on a very hot grill, but especially if I leave it next the grill while it's warming up so that the handle is hot already.

So if I don;t do that it's fine.

King Kooker #12WR 12-Slot Leg and Wing Grill Rack for Poultry Review

King Kooker #12WR 12-Slot Leg and Wing Grill Rack for Poultry
Customer Ratings: 3.5 stars

Being mindful that terminology can change from region to region, and among subcultures, I'll try and describe what I mean by certain terms. To me, a "drumstick" is that part of the chicken associated with the legs. A "drummie" is that small drumstick shaped piece attached to the wing. The wing portion itself is a "flat". The term "wing" refers to the drummie and flat together. Your terminology may vary.

Please keep in mind that King Kooker does not state this is made for "drummies". That was an erroneous assumption on my part.

I bought this rack because I saw an identical (or very similar) product on Amazon that was described as being good for "drummies", but I wanted the chrome version. Wrong! Dummies cannot attach to this rack. You might try balancing them on top or tying them on, but they will not hang upside down as shown in the photos. Those are full-size drumsticks (legs) in the photos. So here is a breakdown of my evaluation of this rack:

Drummies: 1 star (it will not work)

Wing Flats: 4 stars (works good but requires some balancing)

Wings Flats with Drummies attached: 5 stars (works great!)

Drumsticks (legs): 5 stars (works great!)

My solution for the drummies was to get the King Kooker 36JR Stainless-Steel 36-Hole Jalapeno Popper Rack. They fit perfectly in the little holes and I can make 36 drummies at a time. NICE!

Overall, I like King Kooker products. Affordable quality and very easy to clean. Be sure to spray them with cooking spray before cooking and they will clean right up!

When I looking for carts for my Weber Q 220, the choices was 6507 (Good Reviews); 41429 (Goods Reviews too) and this 6549: (No reviews on Internet) So, I've wrote to the excellent Weber customer service and they told me that it is a new model. Basically is the same with slight modifications. One I can note is that 6549 has a space for store the tank below grill , which is very good because reduce the footprint of the entire set. Related to quality, I think is good and does the job.

The other question to Weber was, what's cover works with this cart? Ok, the model number is Cover 6554 wich is specially designed for use with 6549 cart.

Overall, very happy with my grill.

Hope this help to anyone like me searching for the right accesories.

I couldn't figure out the difference between the 6549, 6507 and 41429. I called Weber Customer service. Although pleasant, she was clueless. The 6549 is the upgrade from the 6507. I'm still not sure where the 41429 fits in the scheme of things or the differences. I would have preferred the Stationary Cart but it apparently does not hold my Q100.

Just got the 6549 yesterday. It was easy to put together, the parts are lightweight but tension seems to give it more strength. The grill fits well and is easy to install. A single velcro in the back holds it in place.

A couple of slight CONS:

1) The bottom rack does NOT hold the tank. It is supposed to sit on the ground in the hole. This makes it inconvenient to roll.

2) The cart must be turned upside down in order to disassemble/reassemble for travel. It's easy to remove and install the grill but still, it's a few unnecessary steps. This could have been designed better.

Best Deals for Weber 6549 Weber Q Rolling Cart

My Weber 6549 cart arrived well packed and in perfect condition. The only tool required for assembly was a hammer to lock the wheel retainers onto their axle. The cart is cleverly designed to not only lock the grill securely to the cart but also to serve as a fold-up rolling transporter. The materials seem weather-resistant, and the cart is attractive.

Despite these virtues, I still wish that the cart did at least two more things:

First, the cart isn't designed to support a 20# propane cylinder. Owners who use their Q-series grills as their main outdoor cooking tool will opt, as I have, to install the 20# propane cylinder adapter. It would be convenient to use the cart as storage for both the propane cylinder and the grill. Although the bottom wires of the cart will (reluctantly) support a 20# cylinder, it is obvious that they aren't designed to do so. For the longevity of the cart, it is not a good idea to overload it. This means that the propane cylinder must sit on the ground beside the cart and be disconnected/reconnected at each move. It also means that even though the cart folds to roll the grill, I still have to lug the propane cylinder and its hose seperately. These results are sub-optimal.

Second, the cart allows the grill to move excessively. While cooking, this isn't too noticeable. Trying to scrub the grate after cooking, though, necessitates the use of one hand to stabilize the cart. Otherwise, the grill moves around so much that half of your arm movements are wasted moving the grill itself. I never had the feeling that the grill was going to overturn; the cart is not that unstable. I did feel, though, that cleaning was far harder than it should have been. The cleaning issue is directly attributable to the cart's lack of rigidity.

Overall, this was a fair bargain for its price, but with just a little more engineering, it could have been a fantastic bargain. If my expectations weren't so high for Weber products, I'd probably give this cart a pass, but I just know that Weber can do better. If I had this to do over again, I might opt for the more expensive cart that looks like it is designed for propane cylinder storage. I don't know if the more expensive model is sturdier, but I would hope so.

If you can live with the shortcomings of this cart, the price is certainly reasonable. If you prefer to use the larger propane cylinders, though, weigh the minuses before purchase.

Honest reviews on Weber 6549 Weber Q Rolling Cart

I bought the weber q220 for my husband and he absolutely loves it but wanted a stand for it. He did a ton of research and went with this newer model. The cart is sturdy and holds the grill securely. The biggest issue with the stand is that the grill has to be removed to collapse it into a carry along cart. I would have liked weber to design this cart so that the legs collapse without having to remove the grill. Removing the grill is fairly simple, it is held in place by a single Velcro strap, so this is by no means a deal breaker. Because of this small inconvenience I rated this cart 4 stars. If they fixed this issue, I would give it 5 stars.

It works well for small spaces and this new design has a spot for a 20# tank to sit on the floor below the grill. When setup the grill feels secure on the cart. There is some wobble when cleaning the grill but nothing excessive or dangerous, this is to be expected of a mobile cart. Overall I would recommend this product and would buy it again.

I have yet to receive my grill (admittedly ordered from another vendor -sorry Amazon), but the cart arrived on time. It's sturdy. It does have a nice place for a propane tank (unlike a previous model). It will do the job.

The wheels? Plastic. Honestly, the one and only disappointment with the product. I'm sure it will support my new grill wonderfully. And I'm sure it will weather the elements fine. It also seems handy-dandy portable just like advertised.

I just wish the wheels were actual wheels. As in made of rubber. Anything other than plastic.

Other than that, a good product.
