The older version of this grill has already been reviewed at this link: http://www.amazon.com/Dyna-Glo-DGP350NP-D-Smart-Living-Two-Burner/dp/B004SKMZZQ/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top. For this new grill, Dyna-glo seems to have considered the few shortcomings highlighted by those previous reviewers. The side tables now incorporate handy, very solidly constructed, utensil pegs. The other noticeable change is the ignitor button. I don't know how the older one worked but I assume, since they changed its configuration, it works better under the new design. At any rate, it works just fine. This grill is solid. The only cheapy, plastic, lightweight parts--as previously noted in at least one of the older reviews--are the knobs that regulate the flow of gas to the burners. Once they're attached and the grill is operational, however, you won't notice how lightweight they are. The grill "feels" well appointed and muscular. It heats quickly, cleanly, and holds heat very well. I seared salmon for my first offering and my only mistake was to underestimate how quickly and efficiently this grill does its business. I should have pulled the fish about 2 minutes earlier. It took a leisurely hour-and-a-half to assemble--after work and relaxing with a cocktail. I was impressed by the simple, cleverly packaged parts and efficient instructions. I purchased this particular grill after much research--I was strongly leaning toward the most compact Napoleon--and hands-on monkeying around with many different (read Charbroil, Broil King, etc.)models. At the price point, you won't find a more compact, efficient grilling machine. I purchased this with two incentive discounts offered by Amazon at the time and so saved about a third on the price. That makes this one of the best bargains I have ever experienced. I'm totally taken by this grill and plan to enjoy it for a good long time to come. The cover is also a nice add-on. This really is a deal that cannot be equaled.

Easy to assemble, the grill was ready for business within an hour of starting the project. It started right up once the propane tank was attached. I let the grill heat up and burn-off any production residue that may have remained on the hood, grate and other internal parts for about 20 minutes. I could smell, during that time, something being consumed or released, and once the odor subsided, I put on my first steak.

Because the grill gets so hot, a quick turn of the ribeye seared the meat juices inside. Additional cooking at reduced temperature for about 12 minutes in total resulted in a delicious dinner.

The grill looks to be fairly substantial, although the base tray that hold the wheels, and is the platform for the entire grill assembly, is flimsy and flexes if the surface the wheels are on isn't perfectly flat (my grilling area is brick). This affects the opening and closing of the door to the propane tank.

For about $260 (including the cover) I expect this to be a very good purchase and one that will provide a lot of enjoyment...and great meals!

Best Deals for Dyna-Glo Smart Space Living 30,000 BTU-2-Burner Propane Gas Grill

The Dyna-Glo Smart Space Living is worth every penny and more.

The grill comes in a large box that weighs a lot a partner should be readily available to assist you with the box. Make sure that the box is facing up the right way; you can tell this by the indicators on the sides.

The installation took me about an hour and 15 minutes by myself. I did need one other person to lift the grill head onto the body, but everything else was done solo. I used a power drill (regular will work fine too) and nothing else. The packaging comes with a small rectangular box that clearly marks all of the pieces (screws, bolts, etc.) which is done superbly. Installation was pretty simple. The grill was very sturdy after installation and I did not need to adjust anything. The grill also came with a cover a great bonus!

The Dyno-Glo was connected to a 20LB propane tank soon after assembly. The tank fit into the housing perfectly. The easy-start electric ignition is great and worked upon the first try. The grill quickly heated up; I heated it to ~600F before I let it drop to ~400F. I grilled 4 burgers patties, 6 chicken fillets, and a 2 veggie burgers and found that I had more than enough room for them. The sear marks on the patties & fillets were great. The heating rack is a nice accessory and I fit about four bun halves on it. The two side side shelves were plenty big for us; one side was used to hold three plates and the other had condiments, extra patties, and buns.

The reason this grill is not five stars is because I experienced a few flare-ups with the fat from the burger patties. They were not bad, but I was expecting less flareups on the first time I used the grill, but it's not a big deal. Controlling flare-ups is something that comes with experience and it's not the grills fault entirely. Other contributing factors include plastic & cheap temperature knobs and a weak thermometer.

Overall, if you're looking for a small yet unconstrained grill for small groups (~10 people) and you're willing to forgo features such as infrared heating, rotisserie, and hot plates, this is the perfect grill for you. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

PROS:

Price. Great value.

Maintains a high, consistent heating temperature.

Great to look at. Stainless steel is awesome. Doesn't look cheap.

Does not take up much space.

Great sears!

Easy to clean.

Extremely sturdy.

Comes with a great grill cover.

CONS:

The thermometer is not accurate. You should invest in a new one that attaches to the grill.

The temperature knobs are made of plastic and feel cheap.

Experiences flare-ups on first go.

I was a little reluctant to buy a small bbq because we have always had those big 4 or 5 burner ones. However, this bbq is really good. First off, the instructions to put it together were very simple. It took a little over an hour. It comes with a cover, which is a little snug, but fits fine and is pretty heavy duty.

I like the way it cooks. You cannot really bbq with the heat turned all the way up--it just gets too hot. I'm very happy about that. It is hotter in the back than in the front, which allows you to move stuff around and get everything done just right.

There are just a couple of minor negatives. You have to put the side flaps down to put the cover on. Then when you get ready to bbq, about half the time the flap comes off the holder. It's very easy to put back on, but it seems like they would permanently attach the flaps. Also, the distance between the grill and the warming rack is pretty small--I'd say about 4 inches. That issue means that you can't rellly flip a steak if it's under the warming rack. Not a big issue but they should make the distance a little more.

Overall, we are very happy with this bbq. I've used it 15 or 20 times now and I strongly recommend it.

Seem to be as good or better than the original parts. Time will tell but I am very very happy so far. The price was incredible. Paid a little more for 4 SS burners than I did for one lesser quality burner at a big box chain store. definitely recommend.

Nice product.. solid, heavy construction and looks great.. easy to install. Bright LED light looks great on the grill.

The only problem was that the one I received was clearly USED. The packaging looked like it had been run over and poorly taped back together, and the light had sticker residue where somebody else had removed the labels. Amazon sent a replacement, but the replacement arrived the same way.. they must be sitting on a lot of these open box/used.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program

I've owned a Weber Q100 grill since 2007 so that's what I'll compare this to. Feature wise this grill has some items that are clearly better than the Weber: Larger grilling surface, sideboards, greater BTU and a temperature gauge. This grill is super easy to start. But outside of specs this grill does not have materials that are as durable or as refined a design. This is nice grill but for the same money the Weber is worth considering. Weber 386002 Q 100 Portable 189-Square-Inch 8500-BTU Liquid-Propane Gas Grill or Weber 516501 Q 120 Portable 189-Square-Inch 8500-BTU Liquid-Propane Gas Grill

This grill is a little more difficult to assemble, several parts are made from steel that will corrode and the grease pan is a little difficult to remove. There is a enamel cover that sits on top of the gas pipe that tends to collect grease. Be sure sure to clean the cover after each use or you can get a small grease fires. The cover is secured with a cotter pin that I leave off for convenience. The sideboards were difficult to snap in place and they will be easily bent when you go to remove them move and transport the grill or take it camping. With a few design changes this could be a much better gill.

UPDATE: 4/12/13 Grill used for a large Relay-for-Life event to cook 25 hamburgers and 40 brats. This grill puts out the BTUs. Not sure why my grill was volunteered for this but I was the lucky guy who had to clean the grill afterward. Amazingly easy to clean. The enamel finish along with a 3m Scotch-Brite Scrub Sponge and some dish-soap made for a quick cleanup. Couple of quick tips: toss the cotter pin holding the interior tray and be VERY CAREFUL around the stainless gas pipe, something sharp cut my finger.

UPDATE: 5/30/12 So far this grill is holding up much better than expected. The only visible wear so far is the plastic decorative chrome surrounding the temperature gauge is starting to crumple. This grill is proving to be a lot easier to clean than I would have guessed.

Hi, went camping and used this grill for the weekend. I expected alot better from this grill for the price. First off the grill does not heat evenly. Also, the grease does not drain because the bottom is not sloped enough. When i got home and cleaned it i noticed the bottom was filled with grease and did not drain onto the bottom drip pan.

So, i got out my electric drill and drilled 4 1/2" holes into the bottom. Hopefully next trip the grease will now drain the way it should!

Overall this is a good grill, i managed to get it for around $125 shipped.

pros solid thick metal construction

light enough for pretty easy mobility

15,000 btu is plenty hot, heats quickly

very sleek design

side holders are nice and can be removed and cleaned easily

very easy assembly

cons does not drain grease thoroughly because of design flaw

does not heat evenly

a little pricey

Best Deals for Cuisinart Everyday Portable Gas Grill

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Bottom line: This is a decent portable grill that is attractively designed. However, the build quality, cooking performance, and overall ease of use is a clear notch below similar models by Weber.

Full review: It's hard to beat Weber when it comes to grills. That is clearly seen when looking at the Cuisinart CGG-220.

I am a Cuisinart fan, and own (and enjoy) several of their kitchen appliances. On the plus side, this grill follows the traditional Cuisinart model of attractive design. It's very nice looking, and I love the handle design! However, in this case beauty is not much more than skin deep.

The overall quality of construction is definitely below that of a Weber (I have the Q100, but have used other Weber portables over the years as well). The Weber grates, lid, hinges and other critical parts are more solid that the Cuisinart. That's not to say the Cuisinart is junk, but just that the Weber feels (and is) more solid.

Setup was straightforward with the usual assembly needed. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow.

As with most portable grills, this runs on the small bottles of propane. That's an ideal solution for portability and convenience, but not the best in terms of cost per use. You can also get a separate attachment to hook the grill to the more economical 20 pound tanks (it is not included with the grill, so I can't speak to how well that works).

No problems with lighting the grill. The threading where the propane bottle attaches was not as well machined as it should have been, which made attaching the bottle a little more difficult than on the Weber.

Actual usage, however, is where the Weber really pulls ahead. The heat is more uniform on the Weber, with almost no variations across the grill surface. The Cuisinart, in contrast, has some clear hot spots and cold spots. Granted, over time you can use that to your advantage to a certain degree when cooking different types of food at the same time, but a uniform grill temp is always preferable and doesn't result in any grilling disappointments.

The ability to drain the grease is also better engineered in the Weber. The Cuisinart retains far more grease in the base. I expect that a few more drain holes would make it work better, and is something I plan to add.

The side tables are a nice and useful addition, but again suffer from less than ideal construction quality in how they are fastened. I expect those will be the first things to break on this BBQ.

The warranty is longer on the Weber (5 years for Weber; 1 year for Cuisinart, each with various limitations as to coverage).

At the current price, I would recommend the Q100 over this. While it lacks some the Cuisinart features and has a smaller grill areas, it is better built, cooks more evenly, and will stand up better to being knocked around when traveling. There are also other Weber models that are the same size or larger than the Cuisinart and also have side tables, but are also more expensive.

This is worth a look, but also be sure to cross-shop the Weber models.

Honest reviews on Cuisinart Everyday Portable Gas Grill

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program While I love my Cuisinart GrateLifter Portable Charcoal Grill, sometimes I don't have the patience to wait and that is where this gas grill suits me well.

Assembly was quick and done within 10 minutes of unboxing it. The styling and size is very similar to my other one and that makes it very easy to take with me. It is a bit on the heavy side so be cautious on moving it, I didn't let my Mom when she tried to pick it up. I appreciate the removable side tables that snap on to this; now I finally have a place to set my plate and grill utensils. It performs like most gas grills and I haven't had any temperature problems. It does have a good size grill plate which allows you to cook more that most portables. I had 6 burgers, 6 hot dogs and a couple chicken breasts all grilling at the same time without any overcrowding problems. The only downfall is clean up. While not impossible, the grease catch is a bit difficult to access for cleaning, but I've found lining it with heavy duty foil is a good idea.

Overall I like this grill. It's definitely sturdier, larger and more attractive than the standard portable grill, but I do think that the current selling price is a bit high. It would be much more attractive if it were in the $130-$140 range.

Char-broil American Gourmet 600 Series Charcoal Barrel

I bought this grill at Home Depot about a month ago for $99. I had been thinking about buying the very popular Weber Gold grill for $149, because that's a proven choice amongst BBQ'ers. The selling points for the Weber was the grill grate had the sides that flipped up if you were indirect cooking. The two charcoal holders for the grill were $15. I was also going to buy the little "tool holder" caddy that mounts to the side, $4.99. Total cost for the whole setup= $170. The other thing I liked about it was the ash catcher. I had the box loaded up in my cart until I saw this grill, the Char Broil 435.

The MAIN selling point for this grill, the cast iron grill grates. Anyone who has a cast iron grill pan will attest that cast iron delivers even heating and easy clean-up, and will essentially last indefinitely. I am able to do the same indirect cooking method as the Weber because there are 3 removeable grill grates on this model. EASY to add more charcoal! (This unit comes with a cast iron handle thing to easily remove the grates.)

Another great feature I like as opposed to the Weber is the hinged lid. Trying to find a spot for a 22.5 grill lid on the porch with a bunch of kids running around is an issue. But NOT with this grill. It also has the front table that you can hinge down out of your way, and the handy non moveable side table. It also has a handy storage area underneath.

The charcoal height is also adjustable, which is a GREAT feature for doing the various types of grilling or BBQ'ing or smoking you're doing. It also has wheels on the one side to help roll it around.

It was fairly easy to assemble, unlike some other brands of barrel smokers I've read about on Amazon, CharGriller in particular. Took about an hour and three beers.

The directions reccommend a first 2 hour BBQ to burn off any residue inside. I used some lump charcoal for this because it burns hotter and longer. After that I immediately used it. Oh, and it has a temperature guage!! Triple bonus!! I was really happy with the results. You can cook a TON of food on this grill. Plenty of grill space, yet not very much floor space is taken up overall by the grill. Plus, it being a barrel style grill as opposed to a traditional circle grill, it just "fits" better on the porch.

All in all, if you're doing a price comparison/cost analysis of grills and want similar features as I did, I would highly reccommend this great grill!! Worth every cent!

UPDATE!: May 10, 2012. Have used the grill about 15 times already, and I still love this grill! Even cooked/smoked a 14 frozen turkey on it!!! It fit perfectly on one grate. I took the other two out and put a Weber foil pan underneath and charcoal on each side, turkey in the middle. It was easy to add more coals each hour, and I was able to keep a consistent 325 degrees for 3.5 hours on a 50 degree day. GREAT GRILL!!

DOUBLE UPDATE!: May 30,2012. Still using this great grill on almost a daily basis, and I still think it's great! I've found that it works really great as a smoker. I smoked some ribs in it for three hours. It does a really good job of maintaining a fairly consistent temperature. I also have been adding a light coat of vegetable oil on the outside of the grill to keep it from rusting and to keep it looking brand new. Great grill!

TRIPLE UPDATE: June 12,2012: The wire metal secondary warming rack area is only held on by 4 bolts and nuts, two upper and two lower on either side, which turns out to be a really great "bonus feature" in that you can EASILY remove it for cooking bigger items like a turkey!!

NOTES:

Krylon sells a Rustoleum matte black high temp paint that I plan on using if this grill shows any signs of rust or wear.

Bought a Brinkmann 55" grill cover for ten bucks at Home Depot too and that fits it well.

I have had this grill for about a year now. I absolutley love it. Where you put the charcoal is about the same size as the cast iron cooking grates so with that combination you can always achieve a nice even cook. The price was great compared to other grills as well.

Quality-

This is a great product. Usually a grill for this price will start rusting and falling apart. I have had this grill for over a year and it is going strong. I use it severl time a week.

Smoking-

I love to use this as a smoker as well. I have used hickory, cherry, and misquite chips and it leaves the food with a great smoke taste better than just what the charcoal can do. You have to be sure not to put to many chips on though or you will end up drying your food out.

Grates-

the cast iron grates are awesome. They are easy to clean and cook the food very niceley. Just to show how big these grates are i will tell you i have cooked to full racks of ribs at the same time which is pretty nice. I also have cooked about 12 burgers at once while cooking shrimp and sausages on the top grates.

Tempature-

the tempature is pretty easy to keep stable. On the side it has an opening to let air in. It take a little work at first keeping the right temp but once you get a feel for this it is so easy.

Cleaning-

So easy to clean, grates come rigt out no problem and you can just wash them off. Make sure that you dry them off really nice though or they will rust.

putting it up-

it took about a half an hour to put it all up. the direction were very simple and it took no time.

Price-

Great price for what you get. I know home depot usually have deals that if you buy a charcoal grill you can get a free bag of charcoal, so just keep your eyes open for deals. I picked mine up for about 100 with a free bag of smoking chips and charcoal.

We're planning on cooking out even in the winter, I'm a charcoal fan, and so far everything we've cooked has been great. The temperature gauge is handy. A lot of cooking surface. My husband had no trouble assembling this thing. My only suggestions, buy the optional gease catcher, a grill mat if cooking on a patio, a rapid fire starter (chimney), and a good grill cleaner! Have fun.

Honest reviews on Char-broil American Gourmet 600 Series Charcoal Barrel

For those who want to return to Charcoal this is a good first step. The product is MASS produced with the same problems as any MASS produced item. Things are stamped and spot welded. By that I mean the quality is not there. An example is the bracket for holding the fire pit is stamped and spot welded. On my grill it was bent so I tried to bend it back into shape and it broke. Then what can you expect from and entry level product. Do not expect to assemble this product by yourself, I did and it was not a pleasant experience. By myself it required two hours work for a 45 minute project. This grill performed well the first time I used it and I am improving on the use of the smoker. All in all, I am very pleased with this product and again it is a good first step.

I'm going to make this short since it's just a grill cover.

Pros:

-Well made, thicker grade vinyl with a flannel like backing on the grill side.

-Fitted to my Q200 and stationary stand.

-Small mesh vent on back to allow any leaked propane to escape.

-It says "Weber" on it.

Cons:

-Freaking expensive--you'll probably pay about 2-3 times what a cheaper generic "walmart" job will cost you.

In the end, I ponied up for it because of the (?perceived) better quality product and because I spent a ton of money on the grill and stand...what's $18 bucks compared to a $200 grill and stand?

4/5 stars (-1 star for cost).

Hope this helps.

I loved this grill cover while I had it. Great fit, looked pretty handsome, and certainly kept rain and pollen off of our grill on the balcony. However, I think the Amazon product description "The cover is fitted perfectly and is equipped with elastic side bands so it won't blow off" doesn't necessarily apply because ours blew away from our 2nd story balcony never to be seen again (even though I had properly secured to the stationary stand of the grill). I'm buying another, but am still a little annoyed.

A great cooking tool!

I bought the Charcoal Companion to use as a press to make paninis in my 7-inch cast iron, ridged, grill pan. The ridged, heavy-weight size, press had been dificult to find to fit my small skillet, so I was excited to try it when it arrived! I decided to make a paninii of left over chicken that day. Much to my surprise, it would not make the browned ridges I desired but only squashed the panini. I thought about it and realized the grill press was not hot when it contacted the bread. I have an induction cooktop so decided to see if it would heat the ridged press. It did! I put the grill press on one burner, heated my ridged cast iron pan on another burner. When I decided the temperature was right (I heated on No. 7 on my cooktop) I placed the panini in my skillet, then placed the grill on top. Viola! It produced a perfect ridged panini.

I did brush the grill press with oilive oil before placing on my burner, the same as I did my cast iron skillet. I lightly buttered both outsides of my sandwich. This gave a me an authentic panini.

I do not use regular white or wheat bread. I use french, baguette or aritisan bread from my supermarke I slice myself. I don' think regular sliced bread would hold up to this procedure.

I purchased this along with a different press to use making bacon on an oblong antique cast iron griddle. My family initially thought this was kind of a goofy, frivolous purchase but they have been amazed at how much better the bacon is using this. It makes it nice and flat and more uniformly cooks it without as many "rare" fat spots. If you prefer the rare spots you simply would cook the bacon for a shorter time. I think it shortens cooking time somewhat by holding heat on the top of the meat. The bottom of this is cast with ridges about 3/16" tall, spaced about 5/8" apart. I've discovered that this makes it great for doing tube meat like hot dogs and sausages. You can use the press to cook along the whole length all the way around by placing the meat parallel to and between the ridges. I've also used it for frying cornbread and get a much more uniform cooking of it than I used to. I've only had it now for a few weeks but I'm sure I'll think of many more uses for it. There are other presses that weigh more but the weight of this has proven sufficient for any use to which I have put it. The seasoning appears to be good as so far I've had no issues with it sticking. The casting is of good quality with a pretty smooth surface and no flaws.

The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is that you have to be careful with the ends of the handle. The wood handle is long enough to easily handle the hot press, safely avoiding the posts to which it is mounted. However a few times while holding the press to adjust my meat my hand has come in contact with the top of the posts (the handle is mounted between them). The press hasn't been hot enough to create a burn on my hand but it's an uncomfortable moment nonetheless. I usually just wipe my cast iron cooking tools with a paper towel between uses so haven't tried washing this. The ridges might create a bit of a challenge but I can't think of why you might get food stuck to the bottom to necessitate this. Regardless I think this slight risk is worth the extra utility of having the ridges. I looked at a number of these but was restricted in size by the flat area of the griddle. I was concerned that this wouldn't cover all my bacon but before my other press arrived I used only this one switching it from end to end. With bacon this worked about as well as having 2 presses.

I use this Grill Press almost daily. The amount of time and frustration that I save is amazing. Ever feel like you have been through a wrestling tournament after cooking a little bacon, keeping it curling UP, and getting them to even almost evenly cooked? I love how with this press I can cook my bacon, sausage and many other things slowly which seems to get better results and allows me the time to pay attention to the other things that I am preparing and cooking, making it easy to have everything done at about the same Time. I still haven't been able to calculate the time and frustration, which affects the rest of my day, over my current 68 yrs.! I also love the weight hamburgers, steaks etc. Nice Price also, Thanks

I don't know if this grill press is the best out there. It's the first I've owned. I can say it's been a pleasant surprise. It's hefty, solid and has large surface area. It works great to flatten bacon, and speeds up cooking burgers. It fits well in a large pan or cast iron skillet. Today I needed to press the water out of some tofu to fry it, and the grill press is perfect for it. I think this is the kind of item that will have more and more uses as time goes by.

My only complaint, the handle is on a screw, and loosens from time-to-time, requiring a few turns of a screwdriver to tighten back up. Otherwise I like and recommend this press.

I really like the simple plain look of this fire pit. It's very useful and I believe that the side vents lets the heat flow out a bit better.

Hard for me to rate this any higher than 2 stars as it is very cheaply made thin metal won't last long with the heat of fire let alone any rain getting in the pit. Made in China and looks it, will get 2-3 years out of it and be on the look out for something made of 1/4" or at least 8g steel. for $100 i got what i paid for.

Was unsure about product at first, but I really enjoy it now. It disburses heat much better than the old pit that i had. And a big plus is that its portable

I bought this for weekend fires in my backyard. The pit looks great, and is deep enough for easy lighting and fire-building.

I've only used it a few times, and while it's been great for making fires, I've noticed a little of the black paint chipping/peeling, and a bit of rust showing where the paint had been.

I have a cover for the pit, but it doesn't cover the entire sides, since the pit is tall and the cover is probably made for shallower pits.

All in all, I'm happy and just hope it lasts for at least three to four good seasons.

I have come to like and trust OXO products as they are generally a cut above in terms of quality and design. This fork is true to my expectation. The handle is comfortable, the balance is good, the actual prongs are both flat (a plus for just holding meat in place when slicing without piercing or for gently rolling hot dogs) while the points are sharp for all the times you need the stabbing function of a fork! It's also a good length for working over a large outdoor grill. For my purposes this product is a five star winner.

Good quality BBQ fork. I bought this for the boyfriend at the time and he was impressed. He's history, but I am glad I got it for him.

I use these with my barbecue. Makes gripping food an easy task. It is now one of the tools I am never without!! Great price and comfortable grip. I bought a couple for my grill and portable grill. I also use it indoors occasionally with the stovetop cooking.

BBQ tongs can only take part of the way, as billions of burned fingers will attest. Now, on the other hand, a BBQ fork and tong combo makes a cakewalk of any BBQ situation: turning chicken without ripping the skin off, moving skinny food without it dropping through the grill, and (most importantly) rearranging everything in a hurry to stop embarassing, endangering flare-ups.

Typically excellent OXO design and construction, I am very glad I have this fork, and I will be just as glad in 20 years.

I have used this brush to clean my charcoal grill several times, and I am extremely pleased with the brush's durability and cleaning prowess. The bristles are nice and sturdy, and do not flake off after a few uses like other, inferior products. I have a simple Weber grill, and this brush is perfect for it. The handle is long enough to avoid burning my hand while cleaning the grill, and the rounded position of the bristles allows for an efficient angle while I brush the grill.

I will definitely purchase another one of these brushes if/when I need a replacement.

I really like that this scrubs a wide area, but can also be angled to do better between grates. This is a great value and would make a good gift.

Likes: You can bend the twisted metal to get some additional torque when cleaning the back part of the grill. Cleans the top and side grill openings well. Plastic grip is comfortable.

Dislikes: None.

Recommend: Yes. It may be a bit more expensive than other cleaners, but you get what you pay for.

We have an electric grill with a porcelain cooking surface and needed something that would not scratch it.

This brush is wonderful. It cleans really well, the long handle is nice, the little string on the end is an added bonus for hanging on a hook. I highly recommend this.

We are heavy grill user. The long brush lasted for atleast 25 cleanings. Good for plastic and the price range.

I purchased this set last June (2012) and used the long brush first. It wasn't long after that I noticed bristles on the grill. Even the scrubber pad fell apart. So for the remainder of the summer, I ended up using only the scraping tool part of the brush before wiping down the grate.

Thinking the bristles were falling out because I scraped the grate when the grill was hot, I tried it again this year when the grill was cool to the same results. I then moved on to the smaller brush, but not before researching this whole bristle situation. I was horrified at what I discovered and made sure to inspect the food and the grate carefully each time I grilled. Sure enough, it only took a few weeks before the small brush began losing its bristles the same as the larger one.

Regardless of the brand, I'm done with grill brushes.
