I plan on using it fixed on my wood deck railing ....Now the Bad news.. There is a round pressure plate on the clamp screw that was welded on.. Well, it snapped off right out of the box. usually those things are made to swivel with the screw, well not this one.. so be careful wth the clamp. 2nd the post breaks down into 2 pieces, the coupling between the two is not tight and you're are given these foam pads to tighten it up. Kinda cheesy.... Why the post isn't made from a single piece of square tubing is beyond me... I like the concept especially a place for the paper towels.... I think some field mods will fix it, but its up to you if you want to spend the money for something that busts

This was a gift for my BBQ obsessed husband. He clamped it on to our patio table because our smoker/BBQ Pit does not have a little table. With a little piece of cardboard for extra support it worked perfectly. My husband had to bend the little rod that keeps the towels from spinning just a bit so it would be tighter. The winds have been fierce this year in Texas. It's not as flimsy as I thought it might be from reading other reviews.

I recommend this small but sturdy electric outdoor grill.

It only took me about 10 minutes to assemble. The manual instructs you to run it on high for 20 minutes before putting food into it to season it. So I was ready to cook in 30 minutes after I opened the box.

The unit gives me much better control of the temperature compared to my 22" Weber charcoal grill. As an experienced outdoor cook, I really appreciate this. The thermometer in the dome is very useful, as you know instantly what your cooking temperature is when you close the lid. The electric heating element (the part that gets red hot) is substantial and appears to be of high quality. The grill surface itself appears to be of the highest quality, and the manual claims that it emits infra red heat. It is made of metal, feels hefty, and gives you a circular cooking surface that is 15 inches in diameter. The metal is cast into grates so you get a nice grill mark, and the metal is covered with what appears to be a fired black colored glaze.

When the grill is assembled, the heating element sits quite close to the grill/infra-red heat emitter.

It browns very well but can burn your meat, if you are not checking it and turning it every 4-5 minutes. The temperature as indicated on the built in thermometer drops a good 50 degrees when you open the lid for a minute or so (checking on the meat etc.). It takes about 3-4 minutes for the cooking temperature to rebound, and this is very consistent. When the controller is set at medium (3) it stays around 350 very reliably.

This extra control in the cooking temperature has allowed me to achieve excellent cooking results. The way a small amount of the grease drips onto the heating element creates plenty of smoke, so it always has that outdoor cooked flavor.

It is fairly easy to clean, and my grill unit did not have the sharp edges that the manual warned about, otherwise I would have surelycut myself by now as I clean it with warm water and dish soap. The cooked-on crusty residue comes off fairly easily with a ScotchBrite pad, with some scrubbing. It usually takes 5-10 minutes to clean the thing by hand. I wouldn't use steel wool on this thing, because I don't want to scratch the glazed surface.

It is priced lower than the similar Weber unit, and is a bit smaller, so I feel I made a good purchase.

I have enjoyed using it so far, and recommend it for someone who is cooking for a few people (or only for yourself). I would use a larger unit if I am cooking for a crowd.

We never cook in the house anymore... this grill keeps all the smoke, smells and mess outside. We will use it year round. We Just keep it right outside the door on a little table. What a convenience! And to boot it has no legs so it's so portable you can take it with you...camping, traveling, to a park for a picnic, a relatives house...whatever.

We also cook veggies and potatoes. We wrap corn and potatoes in aluminum foil and toss 'em on.

It seems like it takes a little time to get up to 550 degrees, but what I found out is you really don't want it that hot because that thing cooks at a much lower temp than 550. And you can always preheat if you really want it that hot.

I am still learning just how to use it, but it's easy, and I love it already.

It is the second one I bought. It sits right next to my gas grill on the upper deck. I haven't lit the gas grill since I bought it. I read all the write ups and agree with them for ease of use. I just turn it on and wait for the temperature to get to what I want and start cooking. This particular grill is easy to clean. I just remove the cooking plate and wash it or pressure clean it if needed. The reason I didn't give it a 5 is because it came missing one of the pressed-in nuts designed to hold the legs to the bowl (I went to the stored and got a bolt and nut rather than send it back) and the heat element is not rigid on it's frame. Poor quality control/inspection.

I bought the accessory kit to go with my awesome Big Easy SRG. This kit is AWESOME! I thought it was of decent quality, and for all the handy gadgets I got, was well worth the price. I used the Rib hooks right off the bat. The babyback ribs were amazing and held well to the hooks while cooking in the basket. I also used the Shish kabob kit and man was that easy to use. I would suggest cooking the veggies separate from the meats to make sure everything is done each to your liking. Here's the problem I had. The Leg\wing Racks did not fit my basket. I thought accessory kit was for all Big Easy propane cookers. Its not. My Big Easy is the SRG model and its a little bigger than the original I guess, so I can't use the leg racks...which is mainly why I bought the kit. My kids love chicken wings and this seemed like a great item for us. I am returning it. I wanted to exchange, but Amazon does not carry a kit for the SRG. I saw one on Char-broil, so'll I will get that one. I hate it too, because I only shop at Amazon ;-) Amazon customer service is the best! Great buy for the original Big Easy!

If you have the Big Easy, you need to get this kit. It's a bargain compared to the prices on Char-Broil's website or if you had to buy each separately. I've used the rib hooks several times (very easy to attach--just make sure you have the meaty side of the ribs facing the side of the Big Easy so they brown nicely), but I haven't yet tried the kebab accessory. However, if you've ever made shish kebabs on a regular grill you know that veggies and meats rotate on the skewers when you turn them--making them a lot of hassle to cook. It looks like that problem is solved when you use this kebab holder. Just put the thing in when all is assembled and look for the meat's doneness, then take everything out without having to turn each skewer. You also get 2 holders for lots of chicken drumsticks that attach securely to the insert that comes with the Big Easy. They make it easy for grilling wings and drumsticks. I like to make country style ribs (no bones), and the 6 hooks in this kit let you grill plenty of them at once. Instructions are minimal, but descriptive enough. The instructions for the kebab maker consist of 4 photos. The one accessory that is not included and which I bought separately is the hanging basket which adds a second tier to the Big Easy. I've used it for roasting veggies while cooking my turkey, and I've used it for small roasts. It can be used to roast a second chicken. I enjoy using the Big Easy and all these accessories.

I just received this product in the mail. Fast delivery and good condition as usual. My reason for the low rating is because this product did NOT come with the items advertised in the pictures. One item in particular, the "Char-Broil Big Easy Bunk Bed BIasket", shows up in 2 pictures. This is false advertising and seemingly done on purpose to deceive buyers. I would suggest that the seller remove the images of products that are not included in the package. There are 22 pieces in the set, just not the 22 pieces I would have liked.

That being said, I decided to keep the items that came in, because for the price paid, it will be cheaper than buying them individually.

The Big Easy produces crispy skin and moist meat on the poultry.

It cooks some things better than my gas grill so it compliments it perfectly.

The accessory kit makes it easy to place different shaped foods in at the optimal cooking height and they can be utilized for different needs (the kabob holder works as a brace to hold a turkey breast upright).

I received these warped as another reviewer also said. Because they are bowed (concave) they do not lay flat on the grill. I am thinking this is a defect. If you flip them over the lay flat in the corners, but then they are still bowed (convex) in the middle. What a hassle to have to try to figure out if this is a defect from original company and to return such a heavy item. I also fear that returning and getting a replacement product will just give me another set of warped or bowed cooking grates. Other than the warped issue...they look great and are of good quality.

Size was correct for my grill, I like the glossy porcelain finish. Only downside the grates were warped slightly, though this did not impact fit much, and they grill just fine.

I researched skewers on Amazon for an hour or so and determined that these are the best skewers available to buy. I bought the 18". After using them 5 times on my grill Weber 4431001 Spirit E-320 Propane Grill, Black I can confirm that they are the best available. I've run them through the dishwasher at least that many times and they don't have one spot of rust. The tips come to a point and are extremely sharp. I've had no problem skewering food onto them.

2 negatives: just like all other skewers, they are a bit flimsy. I can't bend any other stainless steel kitchen products that I have, but I can bend these. Also, they are quite wide, which is great for keeping the food in place, but it causes some vegetables to break in half while I'm trying to skewer them on. I don't think I'd have this problem if they were skinnier, though that would definitely make them flimsy.

I think they have these in the wrong category too. They should be in Patio, Lawn & Garden > Grills & Outdoor Cooking > Barbecue Utensils > Barbecue Skewers. Instead they're only in Patio, Lawn & Garden.

Best set of skewers for sale on Amazon!

1/2 inch wide, thick enough to be durable, with a sharp point. Will last a lifetime of normal use.

A couple of other skewers for sale on here are comparable, but these all steel kebob skewers will allow me to use them both, outside on my grill, and indoors under the broiler of my oven the others I've looked at, and liked, had wooden handles, which make them suitable for use only on outdoor grills.

Loved the way that this cover fit with smoker box. Black color faded quickly which doesn't bother me but today (less than two months after purchase) I was pulling the cover off and it started ripping in a spot that was thin from sun wear. Nice fit but it faded to almost white by the end of one grilling season(a few months). Then we noticed a tear on top, like it just split or something. It wasn't near a seem or anything and didn't occur while removing or putting the cover on the grill.

Simply putthis cover is not weather resistant and isn't worth the money.. Water seeps through and internal components begin to corrode. I'm on my second on and will not buy a 3rd.

If it lasts through summer, it will not last through the winter.

Its almost as if this was designed not to protect your grill from the elements, but merely to keep it clean between uses.

They are guaranteed to rip at the sleeves for the exhaust vents. You can bet on that.

Was disappointed in the quality and durability, and cannot recommend this cover to anyone.

A $6 tarp and some bungee straps are a better deal than this worthless cover.

I purchased the #8080, Duo Grill cover 5 months ago. At 4 months, the cover began to fade to a light gray and the fabric became so brittle that it is impossible to remove the cover without tearing it.

I would expect that the product would last longer than just 5 months and I am very dissatisfied with it's durability and quality.

The company has offered to replace it, but I'm pretty sure it will fall apart again in 4 months unless they have improved the fabric.

I wasn't sure that this holder was going to fit in my Weber Q 300 because of poor information from Amazon regarding the dimensions. The first reviewer's information led me to take a chance. Here is the information, directly from the package, that you need in order to determine whether you can use this roaster in your Weber:

This appears to be a very good roast holder. I have not used it because I ordered it along with the 18.5 in grill and it will not fit. This roast holder is made for at least the 22.5 in grill. The description does not state this fact.

I bought an Aussie grill @ Target about 8 yrs ago. The outside remains free of rust and even the bottom of the grill remains intact.

The Heat Plate Replacement I bought is an exact match to the original. This is the 3rd heat plate I have purchased from Music City Metals. I am happy to pay a small amount every couple years instead of putting out a major amount of money to replace the 'throw away grills' seen at mass marketers.

I've been looking to replace some of the burner parts of my Brinkmann 2 burner gas grill, when I noticed this item. But the item description is a bit misleading. There are two burner tubes and this CROSSOVER, which is not the actual burner. It acts as a bridge connecting the second burner to the main burner. It attaches to the inside of the grill on the back side perpendicular to the two burner tubes.

Received my new grill after a 2 day delay (was supposed to have the free 2 day shipping as an Amazon Prime member).

It arrived with scratches on it and missing bolts and screws! We were not able to attach the hood. Not happy right now. Also the price has dropped $10 since I placed my order.

Returning is such an inconvenience especially for an item like this. Very disappointed.

Very complicated to assemble. Just a flimzy grill that you cannot move around as it has no means to hold on to. Would not buy this one again. The ones at the box stores are more ridgid and would be a better item.

Its a nice grill and cooks evenly. Not a bad price and shipping is is quick. Especially for being free. The box showed some definate rough spots from shipping. Dirty and the corners were busted in some. Had one hole in it. Nothing was damaged on the inside and nothing was missing. Over all I am happy with the grill outside of the somewhat chinsey quality of the lid. Not the most solid metal and the coating on it is cracking up around the handle. Everything else seems to be good quality and I am happy with it. You wont go wrong ordering it. Assembly was about two hours.

I bought my Brinkmann grill about three weeks ago. When I got the time to assemble it, I came to Step 2 attach the four legs. Gee, no legs. Checked through all of the packaging. No legs. So I went to the Brinkmann web site. There was an email function. Filled in all of the required information and submitted it. After two weeks, no acknowledgement from Brinkmann, no legs. So I called the 800 number from the web site at 4:15 Central time today. They have a system where you have to enter your phone number and they will call you back as soon as one of their customer service reps are available. After 45 minutes (they close at 5:00 Central) no call. Guess they REALLY have a LOT of UPSET customers. I know I am. So I guess I'll have to manufacture my own legs, and never every buy another Brinkmann product. About the one star I gave this grill, I would have made it no stars if I could. How can you rate something you can't use?

We bought this print to place in the screen room of the new home we are building. The print arrived well packaged and in excellent shape. We are very pleased with the quality. We can't say how it will hold up to the elements and it really won't be very exposed (north facing wall of house 12 feet from the outside of the screen room), but we are pleased with what we received. Now if our builder would just get our house finished so we can hang it!!
