Reviews of 3pk Weber Spider Guard
Had to trim them a little bit with a utility knife to get them to fit my 1990's genesis, but once I did, these things do the trick. They were packed really well and came really fast.Bought them for my weber grille, and had to modify them to wrap around the gas tube. Would have been nice to get an exact fit.

Weber 3618 One-Touch Cleaning System Reviews
This a fantastic bargain. For a few bucks, you can rejuvenate your old Weber grill, and it will be good as new. The body of my grill has always remained intact and in good condition, but the original wooden handles deteriorated, and the "sweep" arms rusted. Every few years, I buy one of these, and the grill is like new again. MUCH cheaper (and "greener") than trashing the old grill and buying a new one. Installation is also a cinch. This part saved me from having to buy a new grill. Getting the rusted part off was a pain, but this new part was great.

The brass bristles are thin and weak, the whole thing is only about six inches long. Good bye, safe working distance, hello, band aids and lava soap.

Do not use on a hot grilling surface. Ensure no loose bristles remain on cooking surface prior to grilling. In the event broken bristles are found, the manufacturer recommends replacing brush.
It also says: "Do not remove tag!"
Are you kidding me? It contains lead and I have to wash my hands after handling it? How about if I just don't use it at all and dispose of it with my other hazardous waste materials? I won't send it back so that some other person can buy it.

Review of Weber Style 18701 Professional-Grade Barbecue Fork
This BBQ fork is of high quality and works well. It is plenty long enough so that you don't burn your hand when using it. Great style and looks too. Dishwasher safe---or at least mine is. Would recommend.
The only downside is that barbecue forks are really not very useful, despite being included in almost every tool collection. Stabbing the meat while it is on the hot grill is a surefire way of releasing all of the moisture from the food.
I do have one of these, but I mainly use it to move my foil smoking packets off the charcoal. It works well for that.

This is one solid piece of metal, with no rivets, screws, or weld marks to collect food and debris. There is a black rubber insert under the handle to make it easier to grip. The hook on the end is the perfect length to flip down and hold the grip off the surface it is resting on.The only downside is that barbecue forks are really not very useful, despite being included in almost every tool collection. Review of Weber #78959 24-7/8" Curved Lid Handle for Current Genesis B & C
The item delivered was very different from the picture. It was not a solid all black curved handle. It was straight with a diamond pattern in gray with air gaps in the diamonds and the rest of the handle was black. It functions well . . . but was not what I expected.

This replacement handle fit ok and all, but it's not very comfortable to grab and worse it gets hot from the grill. Not too hot to touch, but seems strange that it would not be better designed.Best Deals for Weber #78959 24-7/8" Curved Lid Handle for Current Genesis B & C

Broil King Signet 90 Liquid-Propane Gas Grill with Side Burner Review
I started searching for a bbq for a year before I bought this one. It was easy to assemble. some of the main reasons for purchasing was the 3 burners plus rotissary plus outside burner. Both sides collapse for easy storage. I really liked the fact that it was made in North America not China. In fact, I broke the door during asembly and the company sent out a replacement in days no questions just immediate service. For the price I would recommend this product. I have cooked almost everything on it, including 2 rotissary chickens at the same time. During purchase I did not notice that fact that the rotissary was an open flame tube rather than a ceramic burner. .It worked just fine. So far easy to clean. Great product, is well manfactured in comaprasion to other bbq's I've viewed at HD & Lowes (china) junk. Stainless steel interior nice cast iron grill and comes with cookbook.

Diversitech Corp. GP42 The Original Grill Pad Review
Seems to be working out well. Bought it because we put in a composite deck and we didn't want to ruin the deck. This grill pad fit perfectly under our standard sized grill. I wish I had seen the other colors, I think I would have tried to match the deck color. Oh well !
replaced it with this one. This thing is beyond heavy duty. It is made of cement and I have no doubt it will protect my wood deck from random sparks or my husband's messes. This is kind of like having a stone patio just for our grill. It was packaged an shipped well but it is quite heavy. After carrying it up the stairs, I made my hubby do the rest.

We recently bought this to replace our Q200 LP grill. The LP grill was to large, to heavy and I tired of having to deal with LP. At first we thought of going to a Q100 series LP grill. But, this seemed like a much better option assuming it works as advertised. I'm pleased to note it does work as advertised. Follow the directions and you will have well seared steaks and chops, better than our Q200 ever did actually. Also works very well for fish and shrimp given the fact that it is so easy to control the cooking temp. Cleanup is a breeze since you can remove the lower liner and wash as you see fit. We RV and space is at a premium, this is exactly what we needed to free up a bit of room. If you need to use a extension cord, don't cheap it out on one with to small wire. I got a 12 AWG and it works fine.
The instructions enclosed with the grill are a bit confusing. Because the instructions are written in three languages, pictures are used extensively in the user manual. But, I took my time and completed assembly in about 20 minutes.
When using the grill, make sure you preheat the grill for the specified time, as stated in the user manual. I did, and, let me tell you, when my food hit the grill, there was some serious sizzle going on! This grill really gets hot! It made beautiful sear marks on my burgers and Italian sausages. I thought it was my imagination, but, even my wife said the food tasted like it came off a charcoal grill!
Cleanup was easy. The grill plates are in two sections for easy removal (they are heavy). The bowl liner lifts out for cleaning as well. There is a grease catch pan that you can line with foil wrap, although Weber supplies one (1) disposable drip pan.
I also purchased the Weber Q rolling cart and the Weber Q Premium Cover for a sleek, finished look. It looks great on my terrace! I'm truly loving my Weber Q140!
I live in a condo where I can't have open flames, and was skeptical of electric grills at first, but this unit has worked well so far.
Pros:
Good quality grill that is easy to clean. (No ash to clean up afterward, either).
Heat is not bad for an electric, and heats up quickly.
The construction is solid.
Cons:
The grill area is not very large. If you are grilling for 2-3 it's fine, but for larger groups, it may not work.
The cord is not that long (easily fixed with a heavy duty extension cord).
It's pricey at $230, plus another $50 for the stand = $280+tax. I would've given it 5 stars if the total costs was around $150-$200.

This grill is a really good quality grill and so easy to clean. All you have to do is soak the grates and liner in hot soapy water for a short while, then wash them. The grates are a really nice, heavy cast iron. I love cooking on it. It won't give you the taste of a charcoal grill, but the food cooked on it tastes great. So far we've cooked steaks, chicken, and hamburgers. I previously owned another electric grill which after 3 years broke. It was hard to clean and made a greasy mess all around the grill. The little pan that catches the grease in the Weber is large enough to catch all your grease and isn't messy to clean up. You can also buy replacements for the grease pan. I also purchased the stand and cover that goes with it. The stand has wheels on it so you can roll it around. And the cover is so nice to keep it clean...our sits on our covered back porch. After shopping around, I bought from Amazon because they had the best buy. It came super quick and was in excellent condition. We're relly happy with our grill and with Amazon's wonderful service.Best Deals for Weber 522001 Q-140 Portable 189-Square-Inch Electric Grill
After being torn between the Weber Q140 and a competitor's grill, I took the plunge and purchased the Q140. One deciding factor was the consistent ratings (between 4 and 5 stars). The competing product ratings ranged from 5 stars to 1 star. Of course, the Weber name and reputation were major deciding factors also. The instructions enclosed with the grill are a bit confusing. Because the instructions are written in three languages, pictures are used extensively in the user manual. But, I took my time and completed assembly in about 20 minutes.

I love grilling, so when I moved into a condo that did not allow propane or charcoal grills, I was forced to improvise. I began doing research and the consensus seemed to be that if you must go electric, a Weber Q is the only serious option. You may have to spend a little more on it than you were planning on, but if you want real results that keep you grilling night after night, then look no further! I was blown away by the results. I did steaks, tips, boneless chicken breasts, bone-in chicken, kebobs, various veggies, and fish filets all in my first week of owning it, and they all look and taste like they came off a propane or charcoal grill. Serious grill marks on every item. The key is in the construction. My neighbor has the Char-Broil electric, and the lid seems flimsy and thin... not on my Weber Q! The lid is heavy and solid... insulation of heat is imperative on an electric grill. It also comes with porcelain-coated, cast iron grates which retain heat very well and make grill marks that rival gas Webers. They use the same materials on their grills and grates that they use in their full-size grills, which makes all the difference. Assembly was extremely simple (you screw on the handle and lid), and cleaning it is a breeze. I would highly, highly recommend this grill for anyone in a condo, as my expectations of it were boldly exceeded. A+Monday, March 24, 2014
Reviews of Char-Broil Classic 55,000 BTU 5-Burner Gas Grill with Side Burner
Better quality than previous model I owned from this same manufacturer. Assembled easily, about 2 hours with just a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. All parts were labeled and very well packaged. Seems to be stronger and better designed than the one it is replacing. My old one rusted out in 3 years, this one has more stainless steel than last one. This grill is huge, and heavier than most in this price range. It does has wheels on it so it moves around easily on hard surfaces.
Highly recommend for the great price, and free shipping!
Upon bringing it home I unpackaged everything and layed all the parts out. Everything was included and no parts missing. Especially like the packaged nuts and bolts in bubble pack. No more hunting for the parts like previous years. This is awesome. So it took about 2-3 hours to assemble going slow using a Phillips bit on a power drill. Set the chuck to #4 and screwed everything together as the direction explicitly showed. Instructions are in English and Spanish and very well thought out.
The grill was less than $300 and I will never pay more for a four burner. No grill lasts forever. Any replacement part for a grill is going to be expensive. But the Charbroil parts are not expensive. Just go to their website and see for yourself.
A cool and well thought out feature of this grill is the modular aspects of the parts. Everything is easily replaceable and it's own part and is not fused or soldered to any other part. This and price are really the ultimate reasons I bought this grill. For instance on my now-defunct Amana grill I got from Target 5 years ago the burners burnt out. These burners are sold in a dual side-by-side configuration. And the flame carryover tube is soldered to both burners! Not a very nice design. It would cost $100 just to replace one burnt through burner with the soldered on carryover tube. Also, the igniters on some grills are difficult to replace and require replacing other parts due to the fact that they rust together and require destroying other parts to replace just that part.
The burners have a 5 year warranty. This is a big + in my book since most grills don't last as long being outside all the time. Even when covered. This grill is a great bang for buck.
The negative reviews posted here seem to be based on either ignorance or stupidity. These people obviously don't know what they are doing either putting it together or taking care of it. It took me 2 hours to put together. One person said it took him 6 hours to put together! Yeah right, like I am going to believe what he says. I wouldn't trust that his grill was put together right. I will amend this review after using it at the 1 and 2 year mark. So far I think it's a good deal. I don't see any parts on it that could go bad. But if you ever need replacement parts it's nice to know this company won't screw you over.
EDIT: Been using this grill for a month and let me tell you what. Those really good ribeye steaks we get at Costco never tasted so good. The grill heats evenly and cooks food with perfection. This is the best grill I have ever had. Very happy with purchase! Also we picked up the 65" Charbroil logo cover available at Wal-Mart.
Highly recommend for the great price, and free shipping!

I love this grill! It took about three hours to assemble which didn't seem too bad. The majority of the time was spent unpacking all of the parts and laying them out before beginning the assembly process. The grill works great! I'm able to actually sear my steaks like they do in a high-end steak house. The side burner is also great. It has plenty of power to actually cook and boil water faster than my kitchen stove. I could not be happier with the performance and look of this grill.Best Deals for Char-Broil Classic 55,000 BTU 5-Burner Gas Grill with Side Burner
Let's face it folks. Grills this big aren't exactly cheap by an stretch. The difference between what you want and what you need in a grill can vary widely. Basically you want a grill that will grill. So after reviewing other more expensive yet seemingly identical grills, I settled on this one. I basically wanted a grill that would last at least 5 years and had relatively cheap replacement parts available. This is where the Char-broil shines. It gives you exactly what you need without breaking the bank.Upon bringing it home I unpackaged everything and layed all the parts out. Everything was included and no parts missing. Honest reviews on Char-Broil Classic 55,000 BTU 5-Burner Gas Grill with Side Burner
We bought this grill for our daughter and her husband as a wedding present. Considering the features and stainless steel finish I think we got a lot for our money. They picked this grill from Target and it was $350 and if it shipped an extra $50. We got it from Amazon for $316.36 and free shipping. That's a great savings. After they received it we, I and my son-in-law, put it together. I am very mechanical and he is, well, not so much. But we put it together in about an hour and a couple of times we had to read the directions twice. One part of the directions was not clear and we had one piece left over. Finding it in the directions tood twice as long as putting it on. All in all I was impressed with the quality and the ease of assembly. Everything was clearly marked and the parts fit great. Didn't have to alter or force one thing! And for me, that's saying a lot. The materials used were excellent and the grill should last them a long, long time. I also noticed that Consumer Reports gave this grill high marks, (my wife keeps Consumer Reports next to the Bible at our house). So, Value; 5 stars, Easy of assembly; 5 stars, Quality; 5 stars.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Char-Broil Classic 55,000 BTU 5-Burner Gas Grill with Side Burner
I bought one from Lowe's a few years ago. In the store the shiny stainless looks like it is a great deal for the price but beware. It has a flat grease drain pan just below the grate that don't drain well so your grease catches on fire and turns your stuff a nice toxic looking black. It also burns the chrome plated plastic knobs off and the gas tubes which will need to be replaced about every four or so chickens. Flames shoot up 3 to 4 feet with no wind. When you ask for replacement parts (mine had a lifetime warranty on the brass burners) they tell you if you had a grease fire your warranty is now null and void. Research the some their other models and you will see similar reviews. If you already have one don't park it close to anything flammable. I cant believe there is not a class action suit in progress due to the safety factor.Tuesday, March 18, 2014

We are building a large outdoor kitchen. I did not feel the need for a refrigerator, as I only wanted to keep drinks on ice without the look of an ice chest. This is quite large, drops into the surface area of the kitchen making it look like part of the other stainless steel appliances. It is heavy gage with a lid and an outlet in the bottom for run-off. We planned for the size of the drop-in, and the run-off when planning the kitchen station. It is large enough to hold wine, beer, sodas and even other
foods cold with the lid shut. Very well made, and worth the extra cost for a stainless steel gage that will weather well in a coastal location.

Broil-Mate 155154 Liquid Propane Gas Grill, Black and Black Chrome Review
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $269.00
Sale Price: $239.00

I have nothing but praise for my Broil-Mate 155154 gas grill. Prior to this grill, I owned a Weber for 20 years, which I left behind when I moved 3 years ago. I then bought a $250 Charbroil, which lived up to its name and charred everything. It had the most uneven heat of any grill I ever cooked on.
So this spring, after much research I purchased the Broil-Mate 155154. It reminds me a lot of my old Weber, in that it heats up fast, cooks even, and has great heat control. I now enjoy grilling again. This is a quality grill with a cast aluminum oven and porcelain coated cast iron grills. I searched all the offerings at the local box and hardware stores and even the Webers they stocked were cheap made in China grills. This grill is made in Canada. Do be fooled by some fancy painted sheet metal grill or cheap stainless steel grill that will rust. Sometimes old school is the best way to go.
I've grilled out 14 times in the 10 days I have had this grill, and everything has turned out perfect. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
I tightened everything snugly with a wrench instead of screwdriver tight. I think that makes a difference in the overall sturdiness of the frame. However that metal panel clattered and banged whenever I moved the grill anywhere. It sounded like a rolling piece of junk until I put some foam tape between the panel and legs. Also the side trays are not secured in place so I drove some extra screws in from the bottom to keep them from popping off. I read about the plastic handle getting hot so I put the metal washers between the handle and lid to create a little gap. I think it helps. These are annoying little flaws that kept me from giving this grill 5 stars, because otherwise its a great product.
The grill comes up to temperature quickly and there are no hot spots. For once I was able to grill steaks 4 minutes on each side the way I've always read about, but couldn't do on our old one. Likewise salmon fillets cooked perfectly. Cooking for a small group shouldn't be any problem at all.
Pro:
Fast, even heat
Simple, no frills design
Cast aluminum oven
Large upper rack
Heavy cast iron grates
Made in North America (though the grates are from China)
Cons:
No grease can supplied
No enclosed storage space (but there are hooks for utensils)
Needs to be tinkered with to fix minor design flaws
This Canadian made Broil Mate 155154 reviewed here is a big hulk of a low tech grill and burns a lot of gas...45,000 BTU when both burners are on. So expect to be refilling your gas tank quite often. I think this grill was designed to cook well in cold Canadian winters!
My biggest complaint is that the heat is not evenly distributed over the two heavy duty cast iron cooking grates. There are "hot spots" and "not so hot" spots on the grates. But this is typical of most gas grills however.
A good test of this (with the grill on) is to cover the grates with white bread slices and note which ones toast faster than the others. You will be surprised to see the large difference in toasting capability over the grate surface. So if you want a steak to be cooked quickly you must find the best "hot spot" on the grill grate. Even then the grill seems to cook the steak a little on the slow side (for me anyway).
Actually this grill works quite well when cooking a bunch of hamburgers with a 15% fat content. The dripping fat causes flareups which actually help to cook the hamburgers more quickly and
evenly and give them a bit of charred flavor. This grill has a very large domed cook space so it's quite good for doing whole chickens, turkeys and large roasts. The grill temperature can be adjusted to maintain an even cooking temperature with the two gas valves. I've done a lot of standing rib roasts on the grill and they've come out to perfection. So I am generally pretty happy with this grill.
My new CharBroil "TRU Infrared" Patio Bistro Grill is a horse of a different color however. It is much more compact, uses much less fuel (13,000 BTU), heats up to cooking temps much quicker and the grate surface gets much hotter (excellent for searing steaks). But there is a downside...the CharBroil grill requires a rigorous cleaning after every cooking session while the Broil Master grates can be brushed clean in a few seconds.
I think both grills are quite capable but serve different purposes. The Charbroil does steaks and chops to "SteakHouse" perfection while the Broil Mate is more of a "lots of hot dogs and hamburgers" grill that requires little or no maintenance. The Broil Mate handles big cooking jobs better too...chicken, turkey and large roasts, etc.

Ordered this Broil-Mate online, sight unseen, since it wasn't available in any nearby stores. It arrived in good condition. During assembly there were some mismatched holes in the front sheet metal panel that I fixed with a drill.I tightened everything snugly with a wrench instead of screwdriver tight.

We've had this grill for 2 years and it still as good as new. It cooks evenly and heats up quickly.Honest reviews on Broil-Mate 155154 Liquid Propane Gas Grill, Black and Black Chrome
First of all, I'm not sure why this particular grill is not readily available at local stores. I had to order mine from an Ace Hardware store, and paid $199.00 for it, with free shipping to the store. I was aware of this brand only because my daughter lived in Canada for two years and bought one when she was there. Since she raved about it, I decided to buy one to replace my three year old Fiesta grill which was almost totally rusted out in spite of being covered year round. I can't even think of an appropriate analogy to compare the Broil Mate with the Fiesta. The Broil Mate appears to be made of top quality materials, and has outstanding features for the price. I did read several reviews regarding the misaligned holes, but didn't encounter any problems. I have learned not to tighten every bolt/screw until a section is completed because often the holes can easily be aligned by simply moving one piece a little bit. Whenever I used my old Fiesta grill I had to wait forever for it to get hot enough and then had to constantly adjust the two burners because the right side was considerably hotter than the left side. The Broil Mate has no problem heating up very quickly and maintaining an even temperature on both sides. Since I just bought this, I have no way to determine how long it will last, but based on it's quality I would have to disagree with the reviewer who says it will last only one season.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Broil-Mate 155154 Liquid Propane Gas Grill, Black and Black Chrome
I purchased this grill over three years ago and it has worked well for me. I recently replaced it though with a CharBroil "Tru Infrared" Patio Bistro Grill.....a much smaller and much better unit...... A lot better.... I ordered what I thought was the correct grill rack, but in fact the first was smaller than the one I needed. I went back to Amazon and looked up the grill rack again and called the seller to seek information to assure I was ordered the right product number. Vendor answered the phone, gave me 100% assurance that what I was ordering was correct. Product arrived timely and was correct!
