These were exactly what we needed for our gas grill. Amazon had the cheapest around and the store we bought the grill from said it was a disposable grill. Parts a lot cheaper then replacing the grill. Great quality parts and works as good as the original.

I bought these grill stones three weeks ago and tried it on the Weber propane grill. I figured it would be OK but boy was I delighted with the cooking results. I now grill hamburgers, turkey burgers, portabello mushrooms, potatos, grilled onions, and chicken.

First, you have to condition the grill with oil. I used Extra virgin olive oil. You brush it on with a brush that withstand the temp or pour it on and spread it around with a paper towel. I use a grill brush on it to clean it.

I am now hooked on cooking everything on the grill stone.

Buy one, you'll like.

Update: less than a month and it cracked in two. If it keeps cracking into 4 pieces it is going to be pretty useless. Too bad it did not last. Rating revised to a 2.

I bought 2 of these stones for my husband. At first, we loved them... Everything we cooked on them on the grill came out cooked perfectly and juicy. But less than 6 months later, they both broke! I'm very disappointed.

This is very frustrating. It seems as long as there are quality parts like this available I will never be able to justify a fancy new BBQ with more bells and whistles than I know what to do with. Based on the quality of these heat plates I suspect it will be more than 3 years again before a replacement BBQ or heat plates are required. I cannot believe how with a little TLC this BBQ has lasted and now with these new plates I suspect I will get at least 20 years out of it. Great product and they fit perfectly.

It's a good idea, but we can't get the logo to actually show up on the meat. We have read the reviews and watched youtube videos. It may be user error, but either way, it still won't work. It is a good conversation piece and it's fun to watch the different guys try and make it work.

EDIT: You need to get the iron REALLY hot. My grill was low on gas so it couldn't get it hot enough. Place it on the grill first and press it on top of the meat just before you take it off.

Two of the premises for me buying this product was the large size and the "apparent" weight of the product. They are long. The articulated index finger thumb combo makes it possible to pull pork. I reach right into my smoker to move meat, or lift it on to a platter. They wash up easy. If you're pulling a pork shoulder you might want to wear thin cotton gloves underneath to soak up sweat, because these gloves don't "breathe."

If you make beer-can chicken which I often do, you know spilling that hot liquid is easy and it soaks right into regular mitts and potholders. Problem resolved. Buy two of these gloves. Let's see: adding wood, adding coals, handling a charcoal chimney, changing grill configuration, rotating meat... and when mixing gallons of sauce or cole slaw, or brining meats in a big cooler, you can reach right in there.

These gloves are a welcome addition to my BBQ passion. (and they look really cool ;o)

I bought it for because it said it was rated to 500 degrees. I bake bread at 450 degrees. Pots are still too hot through the mitt. It's much too large and awkward. Considering its cost, it should at least protect from the heat.

I think these gloves are very useful and get the job done. They are, however, bulky and clunky. My wife isn't a big fan since she has little hands. Overall, they work well. I've only experienced one or two times that the heat from whatever I'm pulling from the oven starts to bleed through. Not to a level that required me to put it down though. Definitely recommend them if you have bigger hands.

I've had a simple Char Broil grill that cost around $100 for the last four years. The heat plate was rusted and burned through, making the fire out of control. Was thinking it was time for a new grill when I decided to try replacing the heat plate. This worked great and I have what seems like a brand new grill. Should be able to get 3 or 4 more years out of it. This was easy to install. Took about 5 minutes.

We've only had our grill, but it's been kept outdoors and (admittedly) not cleaned like it should have been.

The heat plate was unredeemable at this point, and all it did was cause flare ups.

Rather than drop a lot of money on a new grill, I saw this and tried it on a whim.

It's like a new grill! I will be going back to this seller for other parts should I need them. They've easily extended the life of this grill by two years, which saves me quite a bit of money.

This is a smartly designed product. The concept of evenly heating your peppers is best on a grill without too many hotspots, otherwise you just need to move it around a bit.

It's a beautiful laser-cut product. Nicely manufactured except too many sharp edges. Burrs and unbroken edges can be found in many places. Putting this in a vibrating polisher for 10 minutes or a quick ball-peening should solve the problem.

All that aside, it's still the best Jalapeno Pepper grill on the market.

I bought this for camping, so the collapsibility helps save packing space. There are not many collapsible chimneys out there, and the others are fairly expensive, so this was a pretty good deal. It works well and it's very large...you can put enough charcoal in it to cook for a family. If anything, it might be a little big for 1-2 people. The only disappointing thing is that the handle does not fold or collapse, preventing it from packing totally flat.

Nice weight stainless steel, easy to use, cleans up well. Well packaged, arrived promptly. I'm a stickler for quality, and this basket definitely measures up. With the handy handles, it seemed a bit longer than the length measurement listed--or perhaps I didn't measure my grill accurately before I shopped. Reglardless, given the length, it wasn't the perfect fit in our camping-size grill, yet we were able to make it work and are very pleased with it.

Absolutely love this basket. We cook over an open fire often, with a tripod and grill. This basket is awesome for shrimp and pineapple or veggies cut up in bite sized pieces and sprinkled with seasoning. The handles are nice for shaking the food around, but a metal spatula also helps. Don't be too anal about cleaning it let it get nice and seasoned. I actually ordered two, so I could have one at the cabin. The other was purchased by a different company, but works just as well, so am copying review on that one also.

I bought this set for my husband for Father's Day, based upon the good reviews in June 2011. Since then, it has only been used 3 times. This last time, the spatula broke off the handle with only gentle pressure. Now that it has broken, it is obvious that the handles are only spot welded to the metal ends in two small spots on either side! Not the quality that I would expect from Cuisinart, especially at this price! I would not recommend this to anyone!

I ordered this grill tool set for my husband for Christmas this year. I had high hopes because I've never had a bad product from Cuisinart, needless to say I was quite disappointed. I should have listened to the other reviews and skipped over this product. The case lacked proper/quality construction, there were imperfections on the inside of the case, as well as on the tools themselves. The handles, of the tools, were QUITE reddish/orange not at all like the image on the website. The construction of the tools, however, seemed heavy duty and pretty good quality. I decided to let my husband check the set out to see what he thought. We returned this product the following day. Total disappointment.

Received this today and have to admit that this is a quality product from this company. It came in a very nice case, however, I want to hang the utensils on the grill to show them off, but if you are one of those people that want to transport this set, then the case will work just fine... Everything looks high quality. The wood handles really set it off.. Really like the color of the wood, etc... Kind of reminds me of some African looking wood, however, it isn't.. Pretty cool.. Gives it a elegant appearance to some degree.. The stainless steel looks great too. Very sturdy, etc... The bristles on the brush are steel, and not copper or brass, however, it is soft steel and shouldn`t be a problem cleaning some of the Cast Iron Porcelain Grates on the market. I wonder if they will rust over time? We will see..... Actually had Cusinart call me before I bought this and they gave me the thumbs up. Weber says it's okay in my manual to use the soft steel for cleaning the grates. Heck ... if Weber says it's okay, then it is!!!!!!!!!!!! So .. If your looking for a quality utensil set for your new grill or a replacement, buy it.. Trust me.. Thank you..
