Bought this for a very good friend who is a AZ fan. It was much larger than I thought it would be. He absolutely loves it. Now I just need to know.... is there a Broncos version?

I bought this as a gift for friend who loves the Cardinals (I don't know why he loves the Cardinals so much...) and it works great. He really likes it and uses it everytime he's having a football party. He's crazy. I don't know anyone that loves the Cardinals as much as he does...I think he likes having a broken heart.

We use our Kenyon grill in our Motorhome and consequently it gets moved and banged around a lot. It also is exposed to varying weather including soaking rain. I have to say this cover stands up to it all and does its job which is to protect and preserve our Kenyon grill. Water literally runs off it and while stowed in the cellar of our motorhome it protects it from scratches and helps protect other equipment from being damaged by the grill. The cover is well made and thus durable. It's easy on and easy off and in my opinion a must have for the Kenyon grill, especially if you use it as we do, to travel.

Purchased this grill after doing a lot of research and reading reviews online. I found many positive reviews of the Broil King line of grills, but none on this specific model. I don't normally bother writing reviews, positive or negative on the products I buy, but I felt compelled to in this case. First I would have to say the quality of the grill is very good. It's better than the basic Webbers you find in the big box stores and maybe juts under the higher end Webber Genesis that cost $800 and up. After seeing grills that I have purchased in the past for $300-$450, fall apart after a few years, I was debating buying the cheapest grill I could find and plan on replacing it every other year or buy a higher quality grill that will last 5 to 10 years. Time will tell if I made the right choice as far as longevity is concerned. But having used the grill for the past three weeks, here is what I think so far:

The grill is built to perform, heats fast, up to 600F in about 10 minutes and temp control is great

The stainless steel grates are very heavy duty solid stainless steel

The back burner works great with the rotisserie cooked two chickens at the same time, they came out perfect!

You do have to take the warming rack off to use the rotisserie, would be nice if you did not have to, but not a big deal

The warming rack is very large

The stainless steel shelf's are very large and fold down very easily

The base is made of plastic, some may think that a bad thing, but I like that design as that is the first place other grills have rusted.. Again, time will tell..

The doors have plastic top and bottom caps with stainless steel fronts and powder coated backs.. Not sure I like the plastic caps for durability, but they look good.

The sides and back are also powder coated steel, kind of thin, this would seem to be a bit of a weak point, we will see how they hold up. They are black, so if they rust, at least they can be painted..

So now for a word of caution: I was a bit concerned about buying something as heavy as a grill and having it shipped UPS. The concern was well founded, the box was pretty beat up and there was damage to one of the stainless steel shelf's, the pins on the top of the doors were both broke and the handle had a scratch.

The good news is that the Broil King and Amazon both stepped up and made it right. Amazon offered to take the grill back, they would have sent a new one, but they were on back order. Since I did not want to send it back, they offered to apply a partial refund to my credit card. Broil King sent me new parts, no hassle, I told them what I needed and they sent it no charge.

I'm very satisfied with the customer service and the grill is great!

I am 57 years old and have gone through more gas grills than I can remember. Needing another I began to research grills in the $1000.00 range because I figured that, in the past, I was just getting what I paid for. I came upon the Broil King and read nothing but good things about them. The Sovereign 70 had the features I valued so I then searched for the best price. I found that Amazon offered it lower by far than anywhere else. I ordered and it shipped in good time. It was damaged in a couple of places but a call to Amazon and replacement parts were on the way. Fortunately, the damage did not prevent it's assembly. Assembly was fairly easy. An hour or so. All essential components are of high quality especially the stainless cooking grids. Massive! Ditto with the stainless steel burners, huge. I have used it several tines and will say unequivocally it's the hottest grill I ever used. Steaks are charred perfectly. I love it! I was a bit miffed with the damage but all was forgiven after cooking with this grill. I'm only sorry I waited so long to buy a decent grill. By the way Broil King customer service was top notch as well.

Best Deals for Broil King 987734 Sovereign 70 Liquid Propane Gas Grill with Rear

This is everything you could want from a BBQ in this price range. It is solidly built, all parts are hi quality and, maybe most importantly, the grilling grids are solid stainless steel. My only criticism is the assembly. Be aware ... this is a serious DIY package. It wouldn't be so bad if the assembly manual were more helpful. The entire (yes, entire) manual is done in pictures ... no words of explanation. That said, the pictures are done well and I was able to assemble the unit with only a few minor missteps; but some words of explanation would have been helpful.

Shipping from Amazon was faster than expected and delivery of this very heavy carton to my garage was without question although the garage is located quite some distance from the road.

Bottom line is that I would recommend this to anyone with some home handyman/woman skill. It is a great unit.

Broil King 987734 Sovereign 70 Liquid Propane Gas Grill with Rear Rotisserie Burner and Kit

Honest reviews on Broil King 987734 Sovereign 70 Liquid Propane Gas Grill with Rear

I have owned my fair share of grills, cheap Char Broils, a Weber Genesis, a Vermont Castings, a Holland, a Ducane (before Weber bought them!), you name it. I wanted a new grill for this season (probably didn't need it, but whatever), and was torn between a Napoleon and a Broilmaster. Both around a grand or so, and I figured I'd keep this one for a while. I was about to order the Napoleon here from Amazon, and then I ran across this Broil King. Same features, not quite as pretty, but better heat, surface area, etc., for a few hundred bucks less. Researched Broil King for a bit, and found great reviews main thing was they get hot fast, which I like for my steaks. Came back to Amazon, and they had this thing on special for 400 bucks. Had to pull the trigger. Not disappointed fired it up, and hot is an understatement. This thing gets HOT!! Pegged the thermometer at over 700 deg in 10 mins. Seared the heck out of some steaks never looking back. Buy it!

After quite a bit of research, I decided on this grill. It is an great value. All the cooking components (burners, firebox, knobs, lighter) are of excellent quality and function well. The cooking size is not small, but not so big to take up the entire deck. The three burners can put out a _lot_ of heat, and provide great temperature control. It heats up to over 700 degrees F in only ten minutes. The aluminum firebox is great at retaining heat. The rotisserie is strong and a great inclusion at this price point. I can't comment yet on durability as I've had it only a couple of months, but it seems a well-built unit. I expect the aluminum firebox to last a long time. It was delivered on a pallet by a trucking company with no damage. I think earlier Amazon was shipping via UPS. That is a funny as the box is really heavy. I love that the stainless side tables can both fold down. The warming tray is large and useful, but must be removed to use the rotisserie. Not a big deal as it is easy to pop in and out. This is a one great cooking grill. I'd say it has average or better flare-up performance. Bottom of base is plastic to prevent rusting, sounds funny but works well.

Pros:

1) Unbeatable value at this price for the cooking quality and durability of internals

2) Great heat output and control

3) Stainless steel cooking grates are maintenance-free, massive thickness, and retain heat very well. Easy to put grill marks on the steak

4) Great size

5) Not that it matters for cooking, but it is a good-looking grill

A few minor reservations:

1) Base panels are bit flimsy and may be prone to rust in the future. At least they'll be paintable.

2) Assembling a couple of the bolts is tough due to limited accessibility. A socket set is highly recommended over a crescent wrench. Assembly instructions are pictures only, and require some attention to follow. Fortunately , it comes with all the main burner components pre-assembled. Assembly took a couple of hours total.

3) Action of the two front doors seems odd (you need to lift up on door to open). It works as is, but feels a bit strange.

I made a paninni sandwich, but I grill a lot love the ease of using this as an indoor grill. The bags

enable me to grill anything delicate fish, chops, steaks etc. The juices stay in the bag, the grill stays

clean and clean up is a breeze! I just turn the bags inside out and scrub them clean , let them dry and

put them away for the next grilling. I've purchased these before. I prefer the larger bags that come with the

assortment. Very helpful easy to use

This is Char Broil's entry level model of gas grills. I've seen reviews for this grill that went from Garbage to Great. I've used it for about a month and I think it's very good for the price.

It has four burners so you can adjust your heat (using one, two, three or four burners) easily. I found that using just the two center burners on low works best for me. I also like that fact what the grills are close together so meat can't fall down into the fire box. I read one review that said they had that problem with it, but I tried to put a frozen patty between the grills and it's just not happenin'. They must have had really thin meat! The electronic igniter is also a good feature. But I'm sure like all gas grills, this will go out first.

The burners as well as the fire box are stainless steel so they will last longer that other metals. You should still cover it up during the winter months.

The only disappointment with this grill is that the grease tray area is not removable like my previous Charbroil grill. My previous grill had an entire tray with a grease collector that also slid out of that assembly. It made for really easy cleaning. I'm wondering how I'm going to clean this one without removing all of the burners. Except for that this grill is a great bargain. The stainless steel burners are so efficient I have to cook with them turned down to almost off. Really can't go wrong with this deal from Amazon. I saved over $30 on this deal as compared to where I almost ordered it at Sportsman's Guide.

Best Deals for Char-Broil 4-Burner 48,000 BTU Gas Grill, with Side burner

For the last 13 or so years, I've lived in an apartment complex where I wasn't allowed to have a grill. I moved into a house just a couple of months ago and one of my top priorities was finally buying a gas grill. I started looking for one in October, thinking I'd find a good clearance sale during the winter I was wrong.

I originally planned to get a smaller grill that but after looking at grills online and locally for four months, I realized that for only $50 extra, I could get a larger grill that would be great for cookouts.

That was why I chose the Char Broil T480 4-Burner 48,000 BTU Gas Grill, with Sideburner, model 463440109. I also liked that I could order it from Amazon using my Amazon Prime shipping and have it delivered directly to my home. Buying the grill locally would have been a challenge as I wasn't sure I could fit one in my car and although I have a friend with a truck, he lives an hour away from me.

I have to admit, when the grill arrived and I unboxed it, I was a little daunted at how many pieces there were to assemble, but I've put together my entertainment center, bookcases, desk and more and have found that as long as the instructions are good, I have been able to do all of it by myself. Often, I find assembly instructions list the tools you will need to have handy at the beginning, which I find very helpful so I can make sure I have everything I need before I begin work. Char Broil did not provide this handy information, which disappointed me. However, I can say now that the only tool I needed was a screwdriver, although I found my FLASHLIGHT handy when working with the screws underneath the grill.

One of the first steps is setting up the legs with the bottom shelf and the middle wire shelf. This is when I realized the left leg was broken. One of the posts on the leg was bent inwards all the way down, just enough so the bottom shelf wouldn't fit between the two posts on the left leg. Although I know Amazon has an excellent return policy, returning the grill wouldn't be easy as I would either have to get the grill in my car to drop off at a UPS location or stay home from work to wait for the UPS to pick up, and neither solution was a great one. So I called Char-Broil, only to find the help line closes at 6:00 PM on weeknights. Luckily the next day was Saturday and they were open from 10-3. I was very pleased when I spoke with the Char-Broil customer service agent. He readily agreed to send a replacement part to me under the warranty and waived the standard shipping fee since it was a brand new grill. I spoke with him Saturday and the part was delivered the following Tuesday. Score 1 for customer service!

Tuesday evening I began assembling the grill. The new leg worked very well and most of the installation went well also. There were some hiccups where the parts referenced in the instruction were called something different there than they were in the parts list or were just not listed at all in the parts list, making it difficult to determine what part I should look for. For instance, steps 7 & 9 reference a `fascia', but I had no idea what that was and couldn't find it in the parts list. I finally realized it is the front panel on the side shelves. The real problem came when I reached step 10, where I was instructed to hook a `burner clip' to a sideburner tube and around the `manifold'. Lacking a clear photo of the burner clip, which was not listed in the parts list, I tried to fit another unidentified part to the sideburner tube while also trying to figure out what exactly the `manifold' was. I finally gave up and called customer service again the next day. The woman I spoke with was just as nice and helpful as the man I spoke with the previous weekend. It took a few minutes of conversation but she finally realized that I was describing a part that was not the burner clip. She described the burner clip to me, and I looked for it when I got home that evening. As it turns out, the `burner clip' in step 10 is called `Venturi clip' in the parts list. Without knowing what it was supposed to look like, I would never have connected those two names.

Once I had the correct part, it wasn't difficult to insert the Venturi/burner clip where it belonged.

The manual estimates it will take approximately 45 minutes to assemble this grill. It took me approximately 2 hours, probably a little more if you count the time I spent trying to figure out the burner clip issue. Of course, I have never assembled a grill before and expected it to take me about twice as long as estimated, so that doesn't bother me.

I have to say, Char-Broil could do their customers a better service by being consistent with the part names in the assembly instructions the name used in the parts list should be the name used in the step. Also, all parts should be pictured in the diagram there were several that were not pictured. Lastly, it would be a nice touch to add a tip to the beginning listing what tools you will need for assembly.

That said, I've now had to call their customer service line three times and will say without reservation that they provide absolutely top-notch customer service at their toll-free line. My only complaint there would be that I wish they were open a bit later on weeknights and on Saturdays.

After completing the assembly, I was excited to use the grill. My first attempt at lighting the grill proved unsuccessful at least using the ignitor. I was able to light the grill using a long match, however. When I finally had a weekend day that was nice enough to pull the grill outside and take a good look at the ignition problem, I finally saw the issue. Somehow I got it in my head that the first burner is the ignition burner. When using it in the dark at night, it was harder to see the words "ignition burner" under the SECOND burner. In the daylight, sitting eye-level with the burner knobs, it was easy to see. Once I used the correct ignition burner, it lit using the ignition button without issue.

But how does the Char Broil T480 actually cook? VERY well! The four burners give you plenty of control over the temperature in all four quadrants of the grilling area. The racks are different than what I am used to instead of wire-type grilling racks, it has racks that are like inverted v's. Supposedly they cook better, and while I can't compare them to the older wire type models, I can say they cook very well.

There is a nice sized warming rack above the grilling area, so you can remove items from the cooking area but still keep them warm. The left side of the grill has a burner where you can cook with a pot or a pan. This burner has a lid that turns it into a standard shelf when you aren't using the burner. The right side has just a standard shelf.

I keep the grill in my garage and wheel it out to the walkway when I cook with it. It rolls very easily across my gravel driveway and the concrete walkway.

Despite the issues I had with the assembly, I am very pleased with this grill and even more pleased with Char Broil's customer service. If I ever need another grill, I will definitely consider Char Broil again, and I do recommend the Char Broil T480 to anyone needing a grill now.

I bought this thing from Lowes, paid $149+ tax (on sale) and i can't stop using it, the actual metal grill on it is alittle odd, it's about 3/8in shorter than the area it fits in so when you try to scrub & scrap the grills they bang back & forth. i love it!

I'm in my second season with the "sister" of this grill -labeled Kenmore but the exact same product. Works fine and was a bargain at $200. True, it isn't a Weber, and it doesn't cost $700 either. But for a basic grill that will last 5 years or more with some basic maintenance, this is a nice product. Yes, the cast iron cooking surface will rust as will any cast iron cooking surface. If you want to avoid this, buy a stainless steel Weber.

There can't be a better designed and operating grill cleaner than the Grillfloss. It does exactly what the title says... it flosses the bars of the grill grate. There's a dual size cleaning head which perfectly fits the size of my Weber. Two swipes (one forward, and one back after turning the handle a half-turn) and ALL of the crust and build-up is GONE. I could not improve on this if I tried. It's worth the money, BRAVO

With my electric oven, broiling meat is not an option ... it comes out in an almost 'stewed' state and is very unappitizing. Because of space limitations, I purchased this table-top grill ~ which I've used 3 times so far and I love it !! For the purpose of easier cleaning and charcoal residue disposal, I line the bottom section of the unit with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Once the 'ashes' have cooled, I simply remove the foil, close it up and dispose ... and aside from washing the grilling grid, there is no need for further cleaning.

Honest reviews on Marsh Allen Grill-It-Kit 30103 14-Inch Tabletop Charcoal Grill

Great that it's small and very portable. Only problem is the charcoal area is too shallow and only allows enough room for a layer of charcoal and not a small mound like charcoal should be piled up.

First of all, I'd like to start by saying that this grill was nearly $500 cheaper on Amazon than at our local Great Indoors. Plus, shipping was free and arrived in 3 days! Are you kidding me?! It did come on a palette and was quite heavy to move by myself (wife was preggo at the time and I couldn't wait any longer for my buddies to help). I am an experienced backyard warrior and literally ran my old grill into the ground until the burners became brittle and fell apart. I knew that my next grill purchase would be a substantial investment, but I also knew I would use the features. I needed a MANLY grill (cue howling at the moon, grunting)!!

On to the grill review.

great features: it's HUGE, heats evenly, has a rotisserie that actually works quite well, QUALITY construction, easy to clean stainleses grates, and did I mention it's huge. If you are looking for the big daddy of all grills this is it. 6 burners of Weber awesomeness. the wheels roll very easily. I cannot comment highly enough on the effective cooking of this grill. The searing station in the middle is SWEET and works well for steaks. I can't believe how much better my steaks taste when I sear them first.

things i didn't care for / don't need: i really see no use for the side burner in my own grilling life. never used it on our old grill, and probably will never use this one. nbd though as the side burner is standard procedure with grills of this caliber. also, the grill "lights" are silly and gimmicky. i didn't even put them on the handle. that's about it. everything else this grill is very useful, including the propane gauge.

things i don't like: nothing noteworthy here. anyone who comments on the footprint of this grill as a negative feature probably bought the wrong grill. on a small note, i'm not a fan of the way they designed the warming rack. several times i've bumped it with a grill utensil and it fell off onto my food that was cooking. oops. i think it would have been better to design it in such a way that makes it snap into place instead of just resting on the mounts.

other people have noted that this grill has a "disgusting design flaw" something to do with when it gets rained on and the grease catcher gets water in it. i haven't owned the grill that long yet, but it's been sitting out in heavy rain and i don't have a problem. one reviewer in another amazon review for this grill noted that he created a piece of flashing to fix it and keep water out. another contacted tech support and they helped him solve the issue. either way, this is NOT a reason to avoid this grill imo. it's just too dang good at what it does to avoid it for this reason alone. i am SO happy i bought this one.

last idea: buy the pizza stone and make yourself some great pizza!! we have been cooking the best pizza of our lives with this grill using the weber clay stone.

Overall, this grill is the epitomy of manliness. If you buy this grill, your manhood will instantly double in size and you will sprout a lumberjack beard and chest hair the first time you turn it on. Make the all the women near you have taken their birth control or they may just conceive purely as a result of being in your presence when you use this grill. BOOYAH!

If you want a gas grill that does it all, the Summit 670 is it. Be sure you get the 670 version 7370001 (propane, the one I bought) or 7470001 (natural gas), which apparently has addressed earlier design issues noted in some reviews & improved the gas conduction system. We've been using ours for several months & found no rain leakage issues (A Weber cover is used when not in service for longer periods).

The construction & materials qualities are first-rate; it's clearly built to last. Performance is superb, especially the rotisserie (very short cord, but you can re-wire it if you are electrically-competent). There's lots of storage space in the lower cabinet. At first I thought the lighted controls to be just a gimmick, but they are really very functional when night grilling. The two handle-mounted LED arrays are also quite useful at night, and their spectral balance is just right: they give a "daylight" illumination appearance to the food. The propane tank level is measured with a weighing system that displays the fill status on an LED display... very useful!

The grill thermometer max is 750 F, and indeed this grill can reach very high temperatures very rapidly. However, the ability to control how the food is grilling is excellent.

The only tiny criticism I'd offer concerns the nice-looking tool hooks that are on the front, 3 on both left & right; slipping a grill cover on invariably causes the tools to drop off. But this is truly a minor point.

If year-round grilling is your passion, you can't go wrong with this model.

Best Deals for Weber Summit S-670 Stainless-Steel 769-Square-Inch Grill

My wife and I had been without a gas grill for about 18 months, since we trashed our old grill after it rotted out from the inside. After looking over grill reviews we decided the Weber Summit S-670 was the best bang for the money. Sure, it's over $2000, but the features and size make it more useful to us than a smaller grill (including the Genesis line), and far more cost-effective than the "professional" grills. The key is the ability to control heat, and the Weber allows you to do that with very fine control. With the sear burner, we've done steaks and chops that have a pleasant outside crust, but are still rare to medium-rare in the middle. We made a boneless leg of lamb using the indirect method, and the grill held 400 degrees steady for the entire time we were cooking. We even tossed in some baked potatoes that came out perfect.

Two minor quibbles that prevent me from making this a 5-star review:

1) We received a defective quick-connect fitting (no inner O-ring) for our gas line. Had to wait about 10 days for Weber to ship a replacement which they did for free.

2) The gas, thermocouple and igniter lines for the rotisserie burner are exposed. While they appear to be weatherproof, they make the grill look a little unfinished.

When you buy this grill, spend the money on the cover. We are going to enjoy using this grill for a very, very long time!

Honest reviews on Weber Summit S-670 Stainless-Steel 769-Square-Inch Grill

If you read all of the reviews you will have noted the water leak problem. I figured it was worth the purchase even with the design flaw because the grill has great features for the price. I researched solutions for the leaking and then emailed support to ask them for advice. I was surprised when they offered a cover but recommended not to install flashing because "they don't know how it will effect grilling". They have known about the leakage for more than 3 years. With $2,000 grills you think they might explore some solutions other than a cover. People who spend this much on a grill are likely to be the same people who are willing to grill in the rain.

Anyhow, I bought some flashing and some high temp flu tape (highest rated) and flashed the 1" gap between the grill and the cart. Even with this mod, set up was quick and no problems except for the quick connect on the side burner. It just won't snap in for me. No bother, I didn't buy the grill to use the side burner.

No problem with grilling at all. It heats up very quickly and the sear section is incredible. I love the smoke box. It takes a while to get the timing down on the smoker. I have been using the grill for a while now and have no regrets at all. Lights up perfectly, heats well, and easy to clean. The only problem is cleaning the grill with hairy arms. They look like I have a perm. Perhaps time for a longer handle on my brush.

I've had this grill for a month now and I can finally give it the review it deserves. I had a Weber Genesis for 15 years before upgrading to this beast, and it was definitely worth it. This is a great grill, and it is huge. It looks fantastic, and gets very hot very very quickly.

Now, I say this is the Cadillac of grills, and I mean it. In no way is it the Ferarri or the rolls Royce of grills. Caddy is the top of the GM line, and the most luxurious they make. the Summit S670 is the top of the Weber line, and by far their nicest offering. Comparing a Cadillac to a Rolls Royce, Jaguar, or even a Mercedes is silly as they are really in a different class. That said, Cadillacs look great, drive nice, have all the bells and whistles, and will get you where you want to go in style. The thing is that if you scratch the surface, you find a lot of typical GM cheap plastic and cut corners, and the same parts found on a cheap Chevy. It is exactly the same with this Weber. There is a lot of beautiful (but thin) stainless steel where you can see it, but a lot of very cheap powder coated steel where you wouldn't normally look. The stainless is very thin compared to a truly top end grill like a Lynx, DCS, Viking, etc. Those grills are also thousands of dollars more expensive than this Weber, and you get what you pay for.

That said, I love this grill. It will cook as well as absolutely any grill out there, the Stainless grates are very thick, and the sheer size of the grill is amazing. You can cook for an army with it!

I also absolutely love the searing burner. I was skeptical at first, but I have used it a lot and I think it is the best searing solution of any grill at any price. I have used high end grills with their dedicated infra red searing burners, and while they do get hotter, they take a lot of grill space and aren't very good for slow or simple grilling, so you lose a lot of grill area when you aren't searing anything (think chicken or flaky fish). This is a great solution. When in use the searing station gets very hot and puts a nice sear on your meats but when it's off, it is just a regular grill. You don't lose any area. It is absolutely brilliant in its simplicity. BTW if you want truly the best searing get a cast iron griddle and out it over the searing station. That works better than any IR burner out there!

I have used some very high end grills, my friend has a DCS, an other has a Viking. These grills are built so much better and use such higher quality materials that they truly aren't in the same league as this weber, but that is really OK because they don't cook your food any better... but really, a low end grill will cook your food just as well too.

It is by far the best mass market grill out there, Weber service is very good, and I expect the grill will last at least 10 years.

Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Pros: Distributes Heat Evenly, Large Cooking Space, searing station is fantastic, all the bells and whistles, gets very hot quickly

Cons: lots of cheap metal and plastic, grill lights an afterthought
