Slow going with this item, however, it does an excellent job of cleaning a grill, one metal rod at a time. Good for getting the carbon build-up under the grill rods too. Have used it on three different sizes of grills and it works well on all of them.

I added this grill scraper to the collection of devices we use in our commercial kitchen to see what would happen....when I left that establishment a few weeks ago I didn't have the heart to take my grill scraper with me. Everyone there uses it, even the owner who originally yelled about the appearance of yet another gadget in the kitchen. If I could make one suggestion it would be that it would be nice to have a grab handle/bar in the middle for additional leverage since we used the scraper while the grill was on (had to...we have a small grill and put out an average of 80-100 plates a night). Good for home and small restaurant use both!

This little gadget is the best! My experience is 100% positive. I use it especially for cooking fish and for beef, in the oven and on the grill--both are hard to tell when they are done and don't want to be overcooked. Someone gave me this a couple of years ago and it is one of those things I wonder how I survived without. When I asked her where she got it so I could get more she couldn't remember. I have looked locally and described it to sales people whose eyes just glaze over. Finally just now, after taking it out of the dishwasher, on a whim, I googled "fish poultry beef rare medium well color coded thermometer". Amazon to the rescue! I have five daughters/daughter in laws and I am ordering five today. Maybe I will order myself an extra--my husband started washing this in the dishwasher which I am sure is against the rules, so mine may quit. But so far it's been fine!

I was disappointed in this product. I bought it mainly for fish. It did not do the job that I expected it to do. I've used the free ones that Sweet Bay Market gave me and was expecting it to do the excellent job that the free ones did.

Works great as long as you keep it out of high heat and sunlight. Uses liquid crystal to show temperature color. If you use it on a grill and get it too hot or leave it out in direct sun it will stop working.

The package says you can measure Pork, but there is no labeling for it (probably liability and changing standards issue). I ended up using yellow beef medium to indicate Pork at about 150 degrees (go blue beef if you want the older higher standard).

For grilling I prefer an old fashioned thermometer, but for in the kitchen this works great to make sure you properly cook your food.

I have used the colored plastic reuseable thermometers (Grill-Per'fect) where each one is for a particular food such as poultry, fish, beef. This one not only does them all, but it seems to be far more durable. I ordered this one because 2 out of three of my plastic ones broke where the metal part ends in the handle. Enjoy. Great value!

We live near a park and love to have picnics there. This mini-grill has cut down on all the supplies we use to have to bring. Just bring this grill, hotdogs, buns, mustard, sodas, matches and go! It lights very quickly, and gets very hot. It holds enough for three small thin steaks, four hamburgers or several hotdogs. The heat lasts long enough to cook the food to well done, but if you want second helpings, or want to toast marshmellows, bring two grills with you. Also, don't forget to bring water to put the coals out when you leave, and you're done! Great for bringing to the football games for pre-game parties as well.

I bought 5 of these to keep on hand for camping trips. It sits pretty low so I was concerned about using it on a picnic table just on the wood, but found that it is ideal on the fire ring at the campsite. Cooked a steak very well, and I loved being able to just toss it out the next day. They are small, so don't expect to fit a lot of food on just one.

We have used the grill twice, and it works okay, but it is hard to light, and the picture of the grill shows it has a vented lid which can be adjusted with the silver rings (which is why we purchased it). They don't exist on the actual grill. Some parts, because of packaging I assume were bent when the box arrived. The outer packaging was in perfect condition, so it had to be from the factory. The directions for assembly are terrible, and have a lot of typo's. Very poor instruction book. Also it states that the box comes with an extender for lighting. It does not. The lid of the grill will not open up enough to stay open on its own as pictured either. The lifting handle broke when we put it on, so be sure to leave the screw a little loose. I will look for a better quality grill when we have to replace this one.

The measurements are a bit misleading. They are the size of the cover and not the size of the grill it will fit. It works well on my grill that measures 25" deep X 52" long X 47" high. This is the largest size I would want to put it on. It comes down to about 4" off the ground but the corners would be too tight if the grill was any larger.

It is made a very heavy material and constructed well. You are supposed to be able to put it on when the grill is still hot but I have not had the nerve to try it yet.

What a deal. I purchased this cover for my Kenmore grill that is 52.5" x 22" x 46" and it fits perfect. A previous review helped me in deciding whether or not it would fit my grill. I love it because it's made of a thick heavyweight material, not the cheapo thin plastic ones you get the hardware store. There are two velcro pieces on both sides at the bottom so the cover doesn't blow away. I haven't used it in a big storm yet, but it seems very durable. Anything is better than the draw string that many covers have at the bottom...the ones that you can never tighten because the plastic is so cheap. I also haven't tried throwing it over the grill while the grill is still warm. For the quality and price, you can't be beat this cover.

I have been through a lot of grill covers this one is BY FAR the best cover I have ever purchased. I just went out to use my grill today, and had to move some snow off of it to get to my grill. I was thinking about how much abuse this cover has had, and that it is still in great condition. So I decided to go to my Amazon purchase history to see when I purchased this grill cover. June 2007!!! And this cover has lived it's life in very adverse conditions. Living at 8000 feet elevation in the Sierra mountains, with no patio cover at all. It has sat on my deck, in South facing sun every day for nearly 3 years, sometimes covered in snow and always with high altitude sun on it and it still has MUCH life left in it. I expect that it will last for at least a couple of more years. I have purchased lesser grill covers that have shredded to pieces within a year. And I can't believe I only paid 20 bucks for this cover!! Serious value, I would not buy any other grill cover. As for the dimensions, my grill is on the smaller side, so their is ample room, cannot comment on others' reviews about the sizing. Get this grill cover!!!

This grill cover is exactly what we were looking for and puts the others with drawstring closures to shame. The material is durable and the side velcro closures keep the grill cover from blowing off no matter what. Best of all, the $$ is cheap and you will pay at least double anywhere else. We bought the medium size cover for our Char-Broil average size grill and it fits perfectly, the large size would probably be too big.

Two of the premises for me buying this product was the large size and the "apparent" weight of the product. The grill works fine and it is a lot of fun BUT when it arrived it was not in a box or even wrapped in plastic.We had to touch it up with black paint because it was terribly scratched.I have never received anything that wasn't 'packaged.'Also,it is very very heavy so you need to be able to lift it and place it in a hole with concrete mix.Other than that,it is a nice grill.

Are you kidding me we have been ordering these grills for two years, we have tried others but nothing comes close to how good this one is... we look after 70 homes and if the owner wants a bbq for their house I order them one of these.. I went from a gas bbq myself to this one, it is fantastic.. would not have any other bbq ... you can keep your $500 stainless steel gas bbq ... sure it is heavy but it is made to last .. my first BBQ of the year was January 2nd ... order it, dig the hole to the required depth, cement the post one day using a spirit level to ensure it is straight and then put the top on the next day .. load with charcoal walk away for an hour come back and get cooking easy as that..with a beer in hand you are the man of the house..LOL P.S. Ensure you order it from the guys at "NORTHERN" I was missing a post once and they just sent me a new post really quick...

My only surprise was the product comes from Canada. which means it took a little longer to get then I expected but it was still within the delivery dates advised.

The product fits the grill perfectly.

So far I have only owned this grill for a couple weeks and love it. Tons of grilling space, no problems with hot or cold spots and I can't wait to use that smoker. I will update when I do. I built my island to the specs in the installation guide but raised it up about four inches. It all worked fine. Just had to had some trim around the edges to give the wheels a little more support(because it was not meant to be raised up). Over all... Very Happy.
