I've had a simple Char Broil grill that cost around $100 for the last four years. The heat plate was rusted and burned through, making the fire out of control. Was thinking it was time for a new grill when I decided to try replacing the heat plate. This worked great and I have what seems like a brand new grill. We've only had our grill, but it's been kept outdoors and (admittedly) not cleaned like it should have been.The heat plate was unredeemable at this point, and all it did was cause flare ups.
Rather than drop a lot of money on a new grill, I saw this and tried it on a whim.
It's like a new grill! I will be going back to this seller for other parts should I need them. They've easily extended the life of this grill by two years, which saves me quite a bit of money.
