I may be in the minority, but I wanted a small gas grill. I also don't grill a lot, so I did not want to spend much for it.

Many of my local stores stock the super deluxe stainless steel grills that cost big bucks. So, I had to look elsewhere. On Amazon I discovered this grill. It ticked off all the boxes for my needs: Push button start, small-ish but will cook enough for the family, and a warming rack.

It came dis-assembled and took less than an hour to put together. Assembly was not difficult and all the parts were included. There was a slight wobble to the shelfs on each side after it was assembled. This was easily remedied by a couple of sheet metal screws on the bracket connecting the shelfs. The one detriment to the grill I can think of is the thin gauge of the metal. The lid is not as thick a metal as I would have liked. I suppose that is common in this price range so I cannot complain too much.

In closing, the grill preforms well so far. It starts really easily and with little drama (like a big poof). I am happy with it.

UPDATE: May 2013. Grill still working fine however the front panel is already showing signs of corrosion.

I had one of those huge stainless steel, gas guzzling, patio hogging models.I hated it. I only wanted to cook a few sausages or some wings, maybe a couple hamburgers for the kids. I didn't need six burners. I left that big monstrosity out on the sidewalk and someone took it away within fifteen minutes. I looked around, and settled on this little cutie. It took only a half hour to set up, lit up fine the first time, and has plenty of space for a dozen wings, or a dozen sausages, or a few good sized burgers. I use it every night, and it's been on the same tank for three weeks. I can turn it down low to let things simmer just right, or turn it up as high as I want. I LOVE THIS GRILLE! I don't know how it will hold up to our salty Cape Cod air, but I don't care. For this price I can buy a new one every couple of years and be happy. Five stars, no question.

Instructions are not very good so watch how you take things apart in order to get them back together. The bars that go across these pipes to spread the gas thru the entire BBQ have gaps and did not say whether you should bend or try to crimp them. Neither effort worked very well. I have a lot bigger flame near the rear of my BBQ than at the front but I try to use it to my advantage. Otherwise the quality of these pipes is good and the cost was waaay less than at the local hardware store.

The cover fits very well except in one location. The vent on top of the grill has a lever to open and close it. This cover does not quite fit over that part because of that lever. Otherwise it looks and feels very sturdy and appears to be of very good quality. I would still recommend it even with that minor problem.

I purchased this grill in May of 2011. It was used for less than three months, with the Brinkmann OEM cover used from the start, before surface rust began to form. The quality of materials used in this grill is terrible. There is no back to the lower cabinet, and coupled with the light, cheap metals used, caused the grill to blow over in a rain storm. After 2 summers, and 4 additional blow overs and a substantial amount of additional rust, I shoved this pile to the curb and replaced it with a used Weber. Good riddance. This will be the first, last, and only Brinkmann I ever own.

have only had this grill for a few weeks and the grill is not working wanted to return the product and it said return time is up. When someone pays money for a product the company should have pride in their product and not ripe off the customer. You should be able to return at any time. the grill is only 5-weeks old shame on you.

We bought this grill because we needed more cooking space for family cookouts. This grill has an enormous amount of space for grilling, easily fitting burgers or steaks for 12 on the bottom shelf, while a top shelf handles veggies, buns, etc. As a bonus, the full size burner to the right easily handles a big pot of boiling water for corn or whatever else you'd make outside (lobster, steamers, etc.) On the left is a sear burner that nicely browns meat before grilling. This grill came assembled and was easy to connect a propane tank to. My father loved it so much when he visited that we bought him one, too. My only complaint is that the price was $100 less at Home Depot versus amazon, but you can't beat amazon's delivery service. Highly recommended product.

Super fast shipping! Seriously, this arrived the day after it shipped. Looks exactly as pictured. We are using this to make chair ties for a rustic inspired wedding. It's a way better alternative to buying expensive burlap ribbon. If you have any intention for using this in a decorative way like I am you should be aware that it does have that burlap sort of smell. You don't really notice it unless your face is pressed up against it so I'm not going to worry.

Was hesitant about making this purchase. SO glad that I did!!! Shopped for burlap in Wal-mart to make some crafts with and was a little taken back by the price. I needed a large amount of burlap for a cheap price. So I said a Hail Mary and purchased this. It has worked perfectly for what I needed. I bought two rolls and have made 3 18in wreaths and have at least 1 1/3 of a rolls left. The burlap has a distinct smell (I placed each wreath outside for a night to air out). It also is not finished, so it has threads that pull off. This was not a detriment to me as it made my projects have that weathered/old feel. If your using this for crafts and don't like the strings they are easy to cut off. I love them for the wreaths I have made so far. This product was perfect for what I needed. I only wish I had bought another roll!

This was my first outdoor grill and found out quickly how unforgiving the weather/elements can be. The grill was usually getting a thin layer of dust/dirt/pollen/etc...so the cover helps out tremendously. The cover does have a rubber band on the bottom so it does fit snugly and shouldn't get blown off in normal winds. Only thing was the color is closer toward gray then black like in the online picture, if this matters to you.

I thought by purchasing the genuine Weber product I would get a quality item. Too bad it is not made in the USA like the Baby Q grill which works very well. 2 pushes with this brush and 3-4 tufts of brass wire fell out. I lightly pulled on a couple of others tufts and they came right out. A waste of money...straight to the garbage. Weber should be embarrassed to sell an item like this. Does anyone test them?

Update I emailed by Amazon invoice to Weber and they sent me a replacement which seems better.

This is a nice brush. It wears kind of quickly, but that's to be expected because the bristles are a soft metal so they won't scratch the grill surface. However, it's inexpensive, so buying a new one isn't a big deal. Be sure to remove the scraper as soon as you buy it, to remove the temptation of using it. Those things murder your grill surface. I use the brush as soon as I take the food off the grill, and the brush is all you need when you do it that way.

I use my Weber Genesis Gold C gas grill year-round. Due to the climate where I live, there is a fair amount of condensation inside my grill. After four years, about 30% of the warming rack has rusted and scaled off. I recently bought replacement stainless grates, flavorizer bars, an igniter, and warming rack. The burner tubes appear to have a lot of life left in them, so I didn't buy parts to replace them. I'm using the original stainless grates and bars until they fail to maximize their life; but their replacements are ready.

I installed the igniter and warming rack, and since they are just like the original parts they work fine. I just wish Weber would offer stainless warming racks.

In addition to the warming rack reviewed here, that fits in the four slots in the back, my grill came with a swinging rack that fits in the hood. I haven't been able to find a replacement for that part. I used some Stove Bright high temperature paint to touch up spots where the aluminum casting showed through. For less than $100, I brought my grill back to nearly new condition.

Warming racks are useful if you are a griller. When you are trying to grill 24 chicken breasts and 10 of them are catching fire, it is nice to have a place to put them before they turn into charcoal. The worst problem with warming racks is that they are usually stuck to the "bonnet" where they swing wildly when you open the hood, or they rust so much that you are afraid to put food in or on them. Not so with the Weber. This rack sits on the bottom of the grill in two little slots, and really doesn't have a problem with rust. And you can remove it in the middle of grilling in case the height cramps your style. This rack is one you can actually use...

You know when I first got my grill, I put away the warming rack for fear of rust, and lost it. I bought this replacement, and have loved it ever since. Before, I would just turn off the back burner, and move the food there. The rack is better, because it keeps you with more grill surface for active grilling. So, if you've lost your warming rack, or if yours did evenutally rust (it is probably inevitable, although mine has not yet after a year) try this replacement set. I'm happy with mine.

This charcoal starter is advertised as stainless steel. Upon arrival last night I noticed it appeared suspiciously bright and reflective for stainless. It looked more like a nickel plating. It was definitely a plating as it scraped right off, and already showed some rust on the unplated edges. It must have rusted on the boat ride over from China. A magnet is strongly attracted to this starter, which confirms that the material is ferritic. At the very high price point of $26, and with cheap Chinese labor, it is simply amazing that Grillfinity could not find it in their budget to use the advertised material stainless steel.

In addition to this, the construction is extremely shoddy. There are no welds, only unflattened rivets ready to pop out. The holes in the bottom plate are far too large and will allow coals to drop through. The handle on top is not long enough to keep your fingers far enough away from the hot coals should they be loaded to the top of the starter or even higher. I am not sure such a handle would ever be a good idea because when you dump out the coals a shower of sparks will rise and hit that unshielded hand.

This is the worst and most expensive charcoal starter I have ever seen. Not recommended.

I've always used chimneys like this to start my grill as I don't want the chemicals of liquid starters tainting my food. Others lasted one season and then fell apart. This starter, which I've had over a year now, shows NO signs of corrosion or deterioration. It works as well as any I've had and should last many many years. Definitely worth the cost over the cheap ones.

I am designing and having fabricated a custom Santa Maria-Style grill. Thus, I have some flexibility in size, but roughly in the standard 19" x 30" range. Music City Metals has a bewildering number of replacement grids, and the photos/diagrams don't provide much of an indication of the quality/thickness/construction that you'd be getting. I emailed them for guidance, but received no reply. So I studied all of the graphics in this size range and settled on ordering this one without much to go on. For all I know, other grids may be better quality, but having received this one, I am not disappointed.

The grids are cast iron and are 5/16" thick and wide, with a very smooth cooking surface. I would recommend them. Nothing cheap or flimsy here. It does take 5 grids to get to 30", but as my wife pointed out, the small individual size makes it easy to remove them for cleaning (which I never would have thought about...).

The description says "porcelainized". Don't read too much into this. A good porcelain coating is a wonderful thing, but it takes a bunch of coats (read $) to achieve, and mostly it isn't achieved. One would not expect it here. There is a very light coating of something, but it's best if you consider these to be naked cast iron (which is fine).

At any rate, if you are wondering about the quality of what you'd be getting here, don't. This is a good, solid cooking grid.
