These replacement heat plates fit perfectly, without any adjustment, in my Vermont Casting grill (originally purchased at Home Depot). Wish I had replaced them sooner, at this price. Heat is much more even now and everything cooks better and faster.

It is good length to reach into a grill. The "bristles" are not at all stiff. They are good and sloppy. Sloppy is good. It picks up an ok amount of goop and gets it to its destination. The brush is heavy. It's metal, not fakey, flimsy plastic. I bought it for BBQ but it also does a great job of gently brushing melted butter over delicate pastry without any tearing. It cleans up so well and holds no odors or flavors that a delicate almond pastry brushed with butter has no hint of BBQ sauce after washing the brush, Garlic and almonds don't mix.

Yep good brush. You want one if you BBQ or bake.

I purchased 4 of these burners to replace the old ones in my Nexgrill barbeque. The cost of the burners was the most reasonable of any place I visited. They beat the price of some by as much as $10/each.

I received the burners and found them to be exactly like the original ones. They slid right into place and were easy to fasten in. I had them installed and the barbeque running in about 10 minutes. The only thing I noticed is that the burners seem to put out less flow and don't light like the original. Perhaps after getting "broken in" they'll light better. That's a small price to pay, because my old ones were cracked and one had a hole in it and I now have a barbeque again. This beats paying $400 or more for a new barbie!

I'd recommend buying these replacement burners for your Nexgrill barbeque.

We have one of these at our summer home, and it has held up being outside year round for 10 years. We purchased this when we redid our deck with composite decking. It is sturdy, large enough to protect the deck, and unobtrusive in use.

I purchased this item from Amazon and placed under my grill on my New IPE (ironwood) tropical wood deck last week.

It rained a little the next day I remember. My wife and I decided to move the grill to another location and we were shocked that under the mat the deck wood was greatly discolored and unevenly blotched. Ipe is almost indestructable but somehow the material on the bottom of this pad had reacted with the water to cause the major surface discoloration on the deck.

again to get the rich color back. It looked like somehow this pad had caused the oils in the wood to come to the surface

and make the color dark but uneven and blotchy. I am hoping now that over the winter this discoloration will fade back to

more closely match the rest of my deck. I will let you know about that next spring. In the meantime on searching I found that this company has a small disclaimer under their Q&A section for tropical woods that states " Not for IPE decks".

I am very disappointed that there was no mention of this issue on the amazon description for this item.

Therefore I am writing this so that if you do have an IPE (not sure what it does to other tropical wood decks but I would not take the chance if I were you) deck. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. Here is the link to the warning:

This product is currently tough to find could not get in an alternative color. The truth is it is fine and appears of similar consistency to the ones I picked up at Home Depot were not bad. I love my Weber kettle grill. I can cook almost anything on it. The one problem with the grill is there is no thermometer on it to know what temperature I am cooking at. I decided to check at our local retail store for one and could not find one. I then decided to check Amazon and found the Weber replacement "Dual Thermometer". It works just great. What you do is put the thermometer in the smoke hole/vents to see what the temp is while you are cooking. I know this works well because "America's Test Kitchen" was reviewing grilling gadgets and recommended this to use for the Weber grill. Now I can see how hot things are that I am roasting, or cooking.

This little baby fits right into the 'hole' of the bonnet of my Weber Genesis Gold series gas grill. My original one stopped functioning, but the replacements are certainly cheap enough. I picked up two this time, as they function well as a meat thermometer to tell if your cooking is complete. I can't speak for other models of Weber grills, but this thermometer is an exact replacement for the unit that came with my Performer charcoal grill. It slides into a hole in the handle mount on top of the kettle lid. The Performer is the charcoal grill with the gas assisted charcoal ignition feature and the attached side table and cart. I do a lot of slow cooking, so it's pretty important to know what the kettle temperature is over long periods of time. I got almost four years service from the original thermometer so the design is plenty rugged. It probably would have lasted longer, but I forget to remove it when I used an angle grinder with a wire wheel to clean the inside of the lid for repainting. It's marked up to around 650F, which is plenty hot enough for most charcoal cooking. A lot of the cheaper store bought replacement units only go to 450F and are easy to destroy with over heating. I bought two units at once to have a spare on hand and would buy another of these anytime.

The longest handle brush works well for glazing food on the grill, but I use the two smaller brushes for buttering pans before pouring in batter, for brushing milk on the top of rolls before baking, for any task requiring a pastry brush. I totally despise those wood-handled, straw-like bristle traditional pastry brushes. They are nasty to clean. These are easy to clean, soak a bit in soapy water, rinse, shake out. These make a great gift for anyone who is a grillmaster or baker.

You can't do much better at this price. The long one is great for the grill. That extra length lets your hand stay somewhat clear of the heat. The shorter ones are great for less heat intensive jobs like laying down a layer of olive oil on a pizza crust or some melted butter on home made biscuits. Holding them at a 45 degree angle after dipping will help to hold the liquid in them better if it's a low viscosity. They seem to hold stuff in them very well when it comes to marinades and sauces. What more could you ask for.

Clean up is excellent too as they dishwasher gets them very clean all the way down. And it allows them to dry out quickly as well.

The Summit S-620 is their "cheapest" top of the line chassis. This grill does not include the smoker box and hidaway rotisserie that the S-650/670 have nor does it have the sear burner that the S-670 has. However, the add-on rotisserie is $ from Weber, the smoker box another $ or so. You really don't need a "sear burner". Just preheat the grill properly and it'll do the trick.

For starters, this grill gets hot! I misread the temp gauge the 1st time I fired her up and got her up to almost 400 degrees C! That's almost 750 degrees F! Yipes. Glad I didn't melt her down on day 1. Flame control is excellent (low really means low) and the grill is able to do a good job of indirect grilling with just the two outside burners. No control issues grilling steaks, chops, chicken, fish, or vegetables.

Added features like grill out lights (useful after dark) and the tank "fuel gauge" are helpful.

Construction is sturdy. The cart itself is mostly stainless steel and porcelain enameled steel, the grill box appears to be mostly cast aluminium and porcelain enameled steel. Assembly took me 30 mins (solo job and almost tool-less).

Only 2 complaints. The grease trap feels cheap. The edges on the stamped steel parts are sharp and unfinished. And, it is VERY expensive.

Overall, I paid what I paid for the Weber name (and their support) and a fantastically designed grill. I could not be happier!

I really like this grill. Overall its a winner. It was simple to put together. The grill cooks evenly and gives you six burners to have on or off when grilling. The only minor item that I am not thrilled with are the knobs. I wish they were a little more solid. They are made out of a light plastic and just doesn't feel solid enough for this grill. Again, this is a minor issue as the rest of the grill is great.

Each burner has its own starter/lighter, and you can isolate anywhere on the grill if only using 2 or 3 burners, rather than all 6. Side burner is outstanding. My last grill lasted 20 years. This one .... last one. Wow!

Gas line not included, so I spent $50 at Lowes on one. Then I noticed that the lights don't work (even with fresh batteries, etc.) Packing was a joke as well part of the rear was dented slightly. However, the grill is nice now that I have it working. Just don't recommend buying online.

Well, as the title says... It came damaged. The product packaging is the worst I have ever seen. Or heard of actually since i could litterly hear the metal bang as UPS dropped it on my doorstep and ran. No packing foam or styrofoam, no fun bubble wrap-poppers, just a couple cardboard reinforcments on each of the corners... The bottom, sides, and top had zero protection. One of the grease trays was warped pretty bad from sliding around inside the grill itself, but the deal breaker was the frame damage where the hood touches down. It was smashed in a bit and scratched up (obviously dropped on its head at some point.)

I chose to call amazon instead of using the online method, the rep told me they have no control over the shipping method, packing method, etc... (no speedy dilevery on the replacement)

They did offer to have UPS pick it up from my house when i told them I was concerned about getting the huge package to the UPS store which was nice.

I chose to try again and had it re-shipped vs a refund but I am not very optopmistic that the results will differ much.

I will hopefully be able to write a glowing review in a few weeks...

This item is one of the handiest gadgets that I ever acquired. It easily attaches to the existing plumbing between the propane tank of a standard barbeque grill and its heating element. I never ran out of fuel while cooking with this item servicing to my grill. I refuel my propane tank several times a year. This handy guage does not encumber the refueling process in any way. It has proven to be durable and resistent to all weather year-around.

I forgot to write a review for the item when purchased, but was recently prompted by Amazon to do so. I highly recommend it.
