Got this for a good price compared to other places, $60. The product was a direct replacement or my costco purchased Sureheat Tuscany grill SGR30MLP. Shipped within a day or two and got it within a week. Have to say that I expected more from the grill then having to replace the burnt out burners after only two years. Won't recommend the grill. Hope these last a bit longer. The flavor bars are just as bad and will need to be replaced.

To replace the burners you have to take off the front inside housing because the burners are placed underneath it, which could be difficult because the six or so screws are probably corroded, like the old burners. Use a socket not a screw driver. The burner comes with the two replacement electrodes for the starter and you have to put them on the burners themselves, but that is rather simple. You will need to take a piece off your old burner, the deflector plate, to put on the new one. Good luck on those screws also. When I was done, fired it up and receive a new blue flame for my troubles.

After shopping around online, i found this replacement burner setup for significantly less than other vendors. Based on the overall positive reviews, i decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. The burner came with no instructions at all, but using removal of the old burner as a template, it was really easy. When i removed the old burners (way overdue for change) the support bracket the burner and deflector mount to fell apart at the mounting holes. Because of this, I had to become creative in mounting the new burner (not Music City's issue). What I did was use 2 1" L-brackets. I purchased small bolts/nuts/lockwashers and bolted the new L-brackets and the old deflector to the burner using the outer 2 screw holes. I then marked and tapped holes in the back wall of the BBQs support wall and mounted the burner using the provided self-tapping screws.

Some reviews mention the installation is difficult, which it really is not. If you do not need to customize due to the BBQ being in poor shape, it is:

1. Remove all 3 grid sections

2. Remove all 3 deflectors sitting over 3 burner sections

3. Remove warming rack that sits above the grill (this gives you all the room you need to get the old burner out and new burner in easily.

4. Remove the 3 screws holding the old burner in place (mine had rotted out which led to mod above)

5. Disconnect ignition wires from old burner.

6. Remove old burner by gently pulling it up and back to get the front of the burner off of the gas feeds at the front of the grill

7. Mount the electrodes and provided deflectors onto the new burner with screws provided (I only used 1 each so I had 2 left over for mod)

8. Slide new burner into place making sure all three burners are on their individual gas feeds

9. Install ignition wires on new electrodes (I found this easier to do before burner was screwed in place)

10. Test burners and electrodes by trying to light grill (better now than after it is screwed in place).

11. If all is good, screw burner and old deflector (from original burner) into place on support leg of grill.

12. Re-install deflectors over burners, grids and warming rack and you are done.

This whole process took less than 30 minutes, using a screwdriver with a 1/4" bit, and using a cordless drill to tap the new holes I used to mount using L-brackets. I also used the 1/4" bit in a cordless drill to drive in some of the screws, but it is not a necessity.

I was surprised to find a replacement for my Costco Tuscany (Sureheat) grill SGR30MLP. I live in SoCal and I got it THE NEXT DAY with the free super shipping. It's a direct replacement to the easily corroded steel burners. Stainless steel grills have skyrocketed and I am now taking better care of this grill so it will not rust anymore. I called Sure heat and ordered a new cover for it. DO NOT put the cover on the BBQ useless it's 100% cooled down or it will shrink and begin to crack.

STOP BY THE HARDWARE/MARINE SUPPLY STORE AND PURCHASE self taping stainless steel screws to remount the burner back into the grill and to other burner parts. The supplied screws WILL NOT attach to other parts unless you use a drill with hex head attachment and a lotta pressure.

The burners attach only at the back of the grill. It is not necessary to remove any sheet metal at the front of the grill as the burners simply slide in and out at the front.

David Stantana (Burlingame, CA) makes replacement stainless steel flavor grids for $20 ea. His eBay link is above. Includes the grid that is shaped differently next to the IR burner. You will never have to replace you're flavor grids again!!! I would not of kept my grill if it was not for his replacement grids that are the weak point of this grill. Gotta keep this grill covered or the base will rust really fast.

Thanks for the feedback on the stainless steel burner replacement. Since we paid $400 for this grill in 2007 it's been right on our budget. We bought this from Costco as: Tuscany SGR30M aka: Tuscany SGR30MLP. It's made by sureheat in GA. I did reach them today (800-229-5647) and discovered I almost purchased the wrong parts since I did not look at the model on the BBQ door. After 20 min of hold time I didcovered they still make replacement parts but did not order them. They also took down the website for BBQ's since they only make parts now.

This is the Cheapest buy for a stainless steel replacement burner. I found replacement "flavor grids" in stainless at an eBay site for $20!! @

The only part I can not find yet is the stainless "flavor grid" next to the infrared burner on the far right (inside the grill). It has a different shape than the two on the left. There are 3 total. Stainless grills are crazy expensive right now. Glad to find better than new quality replacement parts. If you do have to order new parts from the Mfg'r Costco said they will order them for you if you bring the Exect Store Mgr your order sheet and payment. The MFG'r does not charge Costco shipping since it will ship on their truck. These grills are no longer made. order parts while their still available.

The delivery service was very prompt. The burner was perfect and easy to install. However, all the screws were missing from the package. Rather than send the whole thing back, I bought new screws at the local hardware store. The screws were NOT an easy match, and I had to improvise using smaller bolts with nuts. I've had my smokey for two years and have grilled everything from burgers to briskets and whole chickens. My neighbors' Webers collect dust in their garages-most of them have gone to gas-but I've stayed loyal to lump charcoal and think this is hands down one of the best charcoal grills you can get for the money. The grilling surface is ample--you could even do a few racks of ribs if you roll them and sent them on their ends. Like the Weber, PK, and Holland grills, Old Smokey has a small cult following. And, for good reason. The design provides the versatility to use either direct or indirect heat, so Old Smokey functions as both a grill and smoker. The 18 inch diameter grill is perfect for a small family, but if I could do it over I'd just go for the 22 inch model so I could cook for a larger crowd. You should spring for the leg extensions, otherwise the grill won't stand waist high and you'll do a lot of bending over or squatting to tend to your 'cue. Reserve the shorter legs that come with it for camping outings. As for aesthetics, I think the Old Smokey has a lot of character. It's a great conversation piece, and, unless you live in Texas, you'll be one of the only folks on your block to have one! It's a fantastic little grill for the money. The only drawback I've found is that the simple design makes it hard to add charcoal. Unlike the PK, the grill is one piece, so you have to remove the meat and grill to add more charcoal. A slight hassle, perhaps, but for a product priced at around $50, you really can't complain. If you are one of those folks who thinks, "they sure don't make things like they used to" then the Old Smokey is for you. Check out the company's web site. Got my Old Smokey this week, and after years of being a Weber man, I was just in the mood for something different. Something that you don't see at every house on the block. I was also attracted to the large clearance over the grill for things such as beer can chicken. I don't think the Weber 18" has enough clearance to do this, although the 22" Weber does, the 22" is just too big for what I need. I don't do too much smoking, mainly just grill steaks, burgers, BBQ chicken & the like, and for that, this grill is perfect. For the reviewer that said the top doesn't marry perfectly with the bottom. No it doesn't, but why would you want it to? It sits on it just fine, and you don't want an airtight seal on a BBQ anyways, or your coals would go out. Hence why you open the top & bottom vents... as far as smothering charcoal to save it for next time, the seal around the edge of the lid is good enough once you close the vents.

I highly recommend the long legs to go with this grillthe short legs that come with it only raise it to a little less than knee level.

Old Smokey does what it is supposed to do ! It smokes the food very well leaving a great flavor to what ever you decide to cook on this grill. It's not too large to transport where ever you want to do your grilling and, not too small to serve several people at home. The only draw back is that the placement of the top is not precise you have to make sure it is lined up or you will lose smoke and heat out the seam. But once it is lined up the grill does a fine job and, if you know what you are doing you will get compliments on the food you cook on this grill. Very easy to assemble.

We've had this grill for years, and love it. I've used those dinky overpriced Weber grills and spent the whole time fiddling with the dampers to get the oxygen just right...whatever. The Old Smokey cooks great and maintenance is easy. The design is squatty and sturdy, so it sits really steady (some other grills I'd hesitate use with kids and dogs running around). I recommend the Old Smokey to anyone who enjoys the flavor of charcoal grilling.

Pad may be replaceable, but it shouldn't need replacement in ninety days, after modest use. Brush it replaced lasted more than a year.

If you're looking for the Weber rotisserie for your Weber Spirit 310 grill, this is it. I like the wooden handle and the heavy duty forks. The motor appears to be heavy duty and spun a five pound chicken (yeah!!) with no strain. The counter balance worked like a charm. Just place your flesh of choice on the spit, let it roll to the heavy side down and place the counter balance up on the opposite side. Well worth it. Cooking time was 1 hour and 20 minutes for perfectly cooked juicy rotisserie chicken.

I was having trouble finding a Weber model 7517 rotisserie for my Weber Genesis Gold grill. The local garden center where we got it did not carry that particular rotisserie and a call to Weber connected me to a "Customer Service Rep" knew nothing about my Weber model at all. In fact, he could not identify it as one of their models, so right then I knew I had a problem. Being self-reliant, I set out to search for a rotisserie on my own. It took me about 2 minutes to find one on Amazon. The 7517 rotisserie was readily available at Ed Young's True Value. I ordered one and received it very quickly. Setting it up was a snap. The first order of business was to cook a whole chicken and even though I'm no "Emeril", it turned out fantastic. I learned a couple of things... 1) don't rely on manufacturer's customer service people and 2) Amazon produces results. I am very pleased.

I got an older BBQ from a friend for FREE. I'd always wanted to cook shish kebab just like my father did "back in the day." So I did a quick search, found a rotisserie motor, and then found the Napoleon 64007 (or, "Sixty-Four Double-Oh-Seven" as I like to call it) and loaded 'er up with all manner of Kebobberie. WORKS PERFECTLY! But be sure load it evenly in case your rotisserie motor port is slightly big for the skewer. Reason? The slightest play in that fit will produce ghastly results as the Kebab wheel slams its uneven weight as it "breaks" over the top, jostling pieces of softening tomato onto the burner deck. NOT pretty. Just an Eff Why Eye for y'all.

This product was not what I expected. With the name "portable stainless steel 3 piece kit", I expected them to come with some sort of case to make them "portable". They came in a regular cardboard box that was very dusty and slightly bent. The tools themselves look decent but this product is definately not what I expected. I don't feel they are worth the money, you could find the same thing for a lesser price at Walmart.

Most grill pads are too small. The pad really needs to overlap the grill by an adequate amout to catch grease spills that can really mess up a composite deck. At my former house, I bought 2 of the larger ones and put them down next to each other. Not one grease spot, ever. I think that this mat is about 30 in . Ever thought of making one 36 in wide? Grills are much bigger than they used to be. Nice product!
