this is truely a must have. the flat non-stick skewers holds everything in place, they won't flop around so the unbalanced pieces of food are always on the bottom near the heat. a friend told me about these at gander mountain selling for $7.39 a set, but i checked here 1st and found them for $5.99 a set. i ordered 5 sets!! the skewers are 14" long for plenty of food. get yours today, don't wait. get at least 2 sets.

So I just bought and used some of these earlier today (bought it at a Ross down the street). I cooked up some chicken and vegetables in my oven though, not an actual bbq, but I'm in an apartment so I had to make do with broil. Anyways the items cooked a lot faster than I thought they would, this item is neat because unlike bamboo skewers these metal ones conduct the heat from the frame into the skewers into the food, so they heat from the outside convection heat and conduction heat from the frame.

Overall they're nothing too fancy, its a pretty essential kit. The frame itself is somewhat sharp edged, the corners and the long edges. It be nice if they had ground down these edges before applying the nonstick surface, but I just try not to apply too much force to the frame when folding and unfolding it.

It seems a fine enough product, so far I'm content. We'll see how it holds up in durability next!

It does what it says. It is a good product. Howver, I wish I had just bought some really nice skewers instead. Keep your grill clean, brush it with some oil, and it'll be non-stick anyway. This didn't work too good with grilling shrimp. It keeps the food up off of the grill, so you don't get the grill marks or charring until the food is overcooked. That's my opinion anyway.

I have a stove top indoor smoker and a gas grill. These shavings work well for both. I will stick to larger wood chunks for my charcoal grill, but I don't think these are meant for that purpose. The mesquite flavor comes through nicely. It is an enormous amount of wood, so it may lose its flavor before I exhaust the supply, but even so, I think it is a bargain.

Cameron's products are top quality. This is a big tub of wood chips for use in the stovetop smokers. Enough to last a year or maybe to share with a friend. Pecan wood imparts a gentle, smoky flavor to the food. I have smoked everything from beef to fish with pecan chips. I highly recommend it!

I bought two types of these chips, cherry and hickory, to use in my Nordic Ware Oven Essentials Indoor and Outdoor Smoker. They work very well in my smoker. I used the hickory chips to smoke pork for pulled pork and to smoke chicken breasts for a chicken salad. The hickory chips give a fairly strong smoke flavor to your food. This was great for the pork, but a bit overpowering for the chicken. I tried smoking chicken breasts with just the cherry chips, which add a much milder smoke flavor than the hickory and then I used half hickory and half cherry for the chicken, and those had just the right amount of smoky flavor. I use two tablespoons of chips in my smoker for smoking, so the ten quarts of chips I purchased will last a long time. I highly recommend these chips if you have an indoor smoker.

The knife is crudely made in China, but will do the job. I put a little extra edge on it and will use it like a machete to hack away English Ivy. My Ontario Knife army machete is better, though.

I love to grill, and I read in a book that this was a good knife to add to my arsenal. It definitely didn't disappoint. It's big and intimidating looking, and after you sharpen it, it will cut bones and joints like butter. The hook works great for lifting your hinged grill grates too!!!

Despite my best efforts to oil the blade and keep it dry and rust free, it has developed rust spots in several places. I will definitely hunt around for a quality cane knife bc all of the ones here on amazon look to be cheaply made...

And, it sure beats spending time cutting an oversized one to the correct length with a Dremel Tool like I had to do last time. Compared to what is out there, this is a good product. I anticipate 18 months to 2 years of service from this item, since I grill 2 to 3 times a week year round.

Best Weber 1840301 Summit S-450 Natural Gas Tuck-Away Rotisserie Grill Deals

I have owned this grill for just over a year, and use it at least once a week, more in the summer, and I even use it the winter (I live in Avon, OH, so I have grilled in temps as low as the mid-teens). A few good points: It lights all the time every time on one or two clicks of the auto-ignitor. This is really great and saves a lot of hassle dealing with matches. Natural gas is wonderful, as no more propane tanks to deal with. The finish is top notch (but for this price I wish the back was also stainless steel). The smoker box is really a nice feature (I usually use hickory soaked in water and get a good 15 minutes of hickory smoke from a filled smoker box). The rotisserie works well when using the rear infrared burner (I have used it for large beef roasts and chickens). One of the best features are the thick stainless steel grates no rust and they clean up perfectly every time and provide great consistent grill marks! The grease trap works flawlessly, and I feel very healthy when I empty out all the grease that collects in the trap! Also, since the unit is completely sealed, there is not greasy grill mess or particles that collect on the patio around the grill it is very neat and tidy to cook on.

A few nits: The side burner runs too hot, in general. It is a poor quality burner and will burn and boil sauces too quickly, even on the lowest setting. It works, just not as good as one would expect at this price point. The main burners, in my opinion, could be a bit hotter, but only for the searing function when cooking steaks. It gets plenty hot, trust me, but it does not quite produce the level of searing on steaks as I would like, but it is very close. If searing is really important it might be best to get the model with the infrared searing burner. Also, the NG hose could be a few feet longer, at least for my application.

My cooking experience is very positive with this grill. I always had cheap grills and was always frustrated with the lack of temperature control. With this grill I get very precise temperature control all the time. I must say that in general I have never burned anything and things like chicken breast come out nice and juicy. Cooking results are very consistent, and I tend to cook very precisely based on time and temperature. For consistency I always let foods sit out for a few minutes so they are not too cold directly from the refrigerator this is very important. I find I get best results by lighting all the burners and keep them all on low, as this sets a good baseline temperature, and then adjusting individual burners as needed. For example, a 1" thick steak is cooked to my liking by searing/cooking on high for 5 minutes on each side, then turning down to low and cooking for 3 more minutes on each side. I can pretty much predict the outcome by using trial and error to figure out what works for my desired cooking results. I also have cooked delicate pork tenderloin roasts with the indirect heat method (lower burners either side with cool burner in the middle) and they come out great). I have cooked about 16 burgers at once for large crowds, and the temperature control is a real party-saver in situations like this that require lots of monitoring. I have not had a bad result (again, start out slow with modest amounts of food to calibrate how this grill works in terms of temperature, heating, searing, etc.). I thought I would use the rotisserie and the side burner more, so in hindsight I could probably have saved some jingle by forgoing these features. Overall, this grill rocks and it blows away any grill I have ever owned (and I have had my share of them over the years).

Update: After 5 years this grill continues to perform well! It is outside, covered, on my patio. I used it at least once per week, even in the winter. The sparkers might take a few extra clicks, but it fires up all the time. Best grill, by far, I have ever owned. I still think the side burner is a huge disappointment because it is so hot useless for anything except boiling. Plus, the wind blows it out easily. But, overall, this has been an outstanding grill!

Depresser on hose not long enough to engage valve in tee. I had to disable it, no automatic shutoff now when hose is disengaged. Otherwise tee and hose worked as I would have expected.

Have had this grill for about a week now and have cooked on it 3 times so far. So far so good. Grilled burgers, hot dogs and steak and fish so far. Everything has come out great. The grill seems to heat up nicely for us. It was not too bad to put together, but did take longer than the 50 minutes the directions estimate. It looks nice and has plenty of grilling space. I would recommend buying the cover that they have matched with this grill. It is a nice cover and has straps that snap around the wheels of the cart to help the cover stay on, which was always a problem with prior grill covers. If anything changes about my opionion of the grill, I will update at as we grill more. As with all things, you have to put things in perspective. Is this the quality of a Weber? No, probably not. But it is half the price of a Weber. I didn't want to shell out $800 plus dollars for a grill, so I was looking for something more in the midpriced range that is still nice. So far this fits the bill for me at this price point.

I like to grill out as much as possible in the summer, but my old bbq was falling apart. My brother noticed that I needed a grill upgrade, so he bought me this Dyna-Glo grill for my birthday. What an awesome present!

The instructions were easy to follow, so it was not difficult to assemble.

This is the best grill I have owned, and it has plenty of btus and heats up great for searing meat. I also like the size, since I like to cook for a lot of people, and I like all of the stainless steel.

Over the last 3 weeks since I got it, I've tried several recipes. I made a cedar plank salmon recipe that my wife loved. I made really good beer can chickens. I also made some bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños that were so good, even though I burned the first batch (I forgot to turn the left side down to medium and it got too hot). My bad. Fortunately, I had prepped a lot of extras and when I turned the heat down a little, they were great.

But the best was the night that we did huge Porterhouse steaks. I seared them on high perfectly on the outside, and they were a juicy medium rare on the inside, even better than the steakhouse down the street (and so much cheaper). They were so good.

I am very happy with this grill.

I just bought this from Samsclub same product code. Everything came together seamlessly. Directions could have been a little bit more informative but I figured everything out jsut fine.

First things first, this grill heats up fast. I don't know about the other reviewers but I was able to get it to about 550 degrees within 7-10 minutes. Heat seems to be even and grilled the chicken breast very well.

Couple complaints: There is about 2" opening in the back that allows lot of the air out when you close the cover. This forces the grill to stay around 525 -550 degree range and won't heat up anymore. This temp is fine for most things but for nice, thick steaks, I'd like it more int the 650-700 range. I can get some aluminum foil to block the opening and that does the trick.

Also, couple of the nuts and bolts that were already installed in box weren't tight and popped off. I had to re-tighten some of the nuts and bolts but they are staying put now.

Overall, very nice grill that grills 90% of items perfectly. For steaks, little modification may be required. Weighing the price vs performance, I recommend it to anybody that is not a Weber snob.

This is really a slick grill!! Almost all shiny stainless steel including the heavy SS grates.

The only drawback since I've had it (30 days) is that there is (was) a 3" opening across the back when the cover is (was) closed, which made it difficult to get the grill up to 500 degrees with all 4 burners on high. Other reviews have mentioned the same. Easily remedied by going to my local glass shop & getting a 3"x26" piece of storefront aluminum & screwing it to the back to close this gap. I had to use a 3/16" masonry bit to get through the porcelain coated steel back & then a bit for hardened steel to complete the holes. It also required a slight bending, by hand, of the aluminum toward the cooking compartment to clear the cover when it opens. Now I have to turn the burners down or it will heat up to 650-700 degrees in no time. It has cooked everything just fine & with more control over the heat settings now that the aluminum plate was installed.

The bottom of the cooking compartment is a slide out tray which I covered with heavy duty aluminum foil to make cleaning that area easier. The slide out platform for the propane tank is a great feature. You don't have to sit on the ground or get on your knees anymore to change out tanks. The shiny stainless steel will scratch easily when sharp metal objects are moved across it so just be careful. Also, there are a couple of sharp corners on the back that tore my cover the first time when I didn't carefully remove it. For $400 this is an outstanding grill for a guy just grilling for the family & I use it just about every day. I ended up buying this from Walmart, but it was the same price at Amazon, because if I had to return it I wanted to be able to return it to the store without having to repack it & ship it back and there is a ton of repacking material. It's easy to put together once you have removed all the packing a sorted out the pieces. This grill replaced a Tuscany Altima grill I bought at Costco 7 years ago. It had more features, that I didn't use, & less stainless steel for about the same price.

This product was not what I expected. With the name "portable stainless steel 3 piece kit", I expected them to come with some sort of case to make them "portable". They came in a regular cardboard box that was very dusty and slightly bent. The tools themselves look decent but this product is definately not what I expected. I don't feel they are worth the money, you could find the same thing for a lesser price at Walmart.

Piece of junk! Here's why. As the hot dogs cook and the natural juices fall, the rollers have no traction or friction to move along the BBQ grate. The roller rack slides along the grill grate like a sled on ice and the rollers do not move. Also,

$19.95 is another internet rip off price. Raley's market here in town has them for $9.95 regular list price and last week had them on sale for $4.98. Gee, I wonder why? Just more junk for the local land fill.

The other reviewer that said that the dogs do not move needs to turn his device 90 degrees.

It moves against the "grain".

Works perfectly.

If the dogs are on the hot grill they burn too quickly.

With the dogs higher and away from hot surface, they cook more evenly and slower.

Note that the dogs are already cooked. You are just trying to get them to at least 160 deg with a nice surface all over
