I use this for the Weber Q grill on my boat and it has worked flawlessly so far. I don't leave it out in the weather so I can't say how well it would hold up outdoors. But so far it is holding up quite well this season.

My brother-in-law had purchased this adaptor last year he said. We were at an RV Park with our wives when I he was using his BBQ and like the flexibility of using a shorter hose to connect to my BBQ. I have been looking for an adapter hose for my Weber 1520 (Gas) Go Anywhere grill to attach a large propane tank and was only able to find the Weber 6501 6-Foot Adapter Hose for Weber Q Series and Gas Go-Anywhere Grills on Amazon.com, which obviously advertises the fact that it is compatible with my grill. However, with only a 4 star rating and at $25 I decided to keep looking.I went to the Home Depot and was directed towards this hose adapter. It was only $15 and fits with my grill. The only drawback that I can foresee is that the Brinkmann hose is four feet long rather than 6 feet like the Weber hose. However, four feet is still plenty and will be easy to work with. The construction of this item seems very similar to other adapter hoses like it.
If you are looking for a cheap adapter hose for your grill, I highly recommend this. Again, I found mine for $15 at a hardware store so be sure to shop around before making a purchase.
