Discount Music City Metals 95365 Porcelain Steel Heat Plate Replacement
These flavorizer bars are exactly what I needed. My only frustration is with Weber why are there so many different length bars used in different grills? Need to be really careful to get the ones that fit your particular model.

These burners were very inexpensive. In fact, the 3 pack was less than a single burner cost at the big box home improvement store. They are light and I did have to re-drill the screws to get them to fit my grill, but so far they seem to be doing great. Super value.

Reviews of Gourmet Charcoal Smoker/grill
I've had my smoker for two years now and its been a pleasure to use. I've smoked full size turkeys, brats, pork butts, chickens, salmon, etc. I do have some advice on smoking, I use a foil pack method for my wood chips and find that a little goes a long way. In fact, if you want a very light smoke flavor just use regular charcoal, use a hickory charcoal for a bit more and add the foil pack for additional.
I added some "S" hooks to the top rack so I can hang my sausages rather than laying them on the rack, works great.
I hope you enjoy this smoker as much as I've enjoyed mine.

Great light weight aluminum pot perfect for outdoor seafood boils. Sturdy constuctuion. The outside of it turned black when I used it on top of an outdoor campfire grill, but it just seems to be a cosmetic issue.
Cons: would be nice to have small legs that would keep the basket up a bit to make steaming easier.

Good lobster pot. I just used it this weekend and I was able to steam 10 1-1/2lb lobster (stacked head first) and I might have been able to put more in. To properly steam them , i placed some some small rocks to lift the basket up and had about 2" of water at the bottom. 15 min later an amazing meal.Cons: would be nice to have small legs that would keep the basket up a bit to make steaming easier.

Reviews of Inno-Labs 000900 Flexible Grill Skewer
Ordered these for part of a Father's Day gift last year. They work great and are easy to use and clean.Love these. I bought 6 of them for a campout. I'd love to see the metal ring end coated with something to make it none heat conducting, becase taking the meat off the skewers was a very painful experience without having pot holders!

I own a Genesis Silver A and if you do too then you're in the wrong place for replacement grates. I had no idea that I had a Model A until these arrived at my door then didn't fit my grill. My bad, but returning to Amazon was easy and they pointed me to the correct replacement grates for my Weber. To be clear, the grates on this page are for the B & C models. Genesis Silver Model A replacement grates are at this link.
These replacement grates should have come with the grill; unfortunately, the grill came with the porcelain grates which I should have replaced the same day I got the grill 4 years ago. The stainless steel grates work much better because the heat is more evenly distributed, and they're just a more solid product.
There's not much more that can be said about cooking grates, so let me tell you a few things that I do to make my Weber work best for me.
-Most importantly...keep it covered. Amazon sells a cover...get it. Not coving it will cut its life in half at least.
-Cover the funnel shaped grease drip pan with tin foil and change it regularly; otherwise build-up in the trap can catch fire and THAT does not make a steak taste very good.
-Change the disposable grease traps regularly (otherwise they start to stink).
-Get yourself a quality wire brush and use it before each use...NOT after. The build-up on the cooking grates after each use actually protects them from the elements.
-Before each use, after you wire brush the grates, put some cooking oil on some paper towels and wipe the grates down.
-Pre-heat the grill on high for at least 5 10 minutes; it burns off anything left over from the cleaning and makes the cooking grates nice and hot.
-Initiate cooking steaks, chops, any cuts of meat (even burgers...no, not hot dogs) on just-over-medium heat for 2 minutes on each side and flip before cooking to your liking. This brief searing of each side locks in the flavor of your cut of meat.
-Cook with a closed cover; normal cuts of meat shouldn't take more than a total of 10 minutes (including the searing).
-Let your meat sit for up to 5 minutes before slicing (or biting into it!). This locks in the juices; if the juices are too hot when you slice (or bite), they'll run right out of your cut of meat.
There you go. Hope that helps. And don't forget to cover the grill after it cools. Bon appetit!
It's only after buying a replacement set of the same substandard grates that I came to discover that Weber actually does offer a proper set of heavy duty, durable stainless steel grates with heavy welded stainless rods under Weber model #9930. They're clearly more expensive, but they will be the last grates you'll ever need to buy, compared with the 7527 that's only good for a few years of service.
Weber's website doesn't even mention the #9930 as an available option. Thanks Weber! Too late for me, but be warned that the 7527 isn't the way to go. If you can't afford the 9930 grates, the original porcelainized steel grates are a much better buy and more durable than the 7527 grates.
In my assessment these 7527 grates offer poor cost-performance.
Of course, since I am a huge fan of Amazon, I searched here and found the stainless steel grates at an amazing price, at least $20 less than Weber and free shipping. They were shipped super fast and they fit my grill perfectly.
Along with new stainless flavor bars, which I also purchased from Amazon, my grill just about looks brand new. The last items that I need and one that seems to be the most difficult to find are the warming baskets. I cannot seem to find ones that fit the Silver B grill or if you can find them they take forever to be delivered.
I am very pleased with the new grates and look forward to alot of summer grill cooking.

If you have a Weber grille with the original el-cheapo porcelain coated grates, this is the item to buy! The grates do discolor after the first use but that doesnt affect the performance of them. The heat distribution is nice and even. The old porcelain coated grates wear out the coating, rust and warp. The stainless steel replacements are actually what Weber should have included when the grille was new especially considering what they ask for the grille brand new. I will be replacing any component with the stainless as the original parts go bad.Best Deals for Weber 7527 Stainless Steel Cooking Grates - 2 Pack
You might expect when paying the big bucks for durable stainless steel that it will be the last time you'll be buying new grates. You'd be wrong if you're buying Weber's 7527 stainless steel grates. The original porcelain-clad steel grates in my grill lasted twelve years before rusting away. I replaced them with Weber's 7527 stainless steel variants that broke in less than three years. Not rusted; but fractured in half. Problem is that they are constructed of lightweight stamped stainless steel of an obviously low grade. These grates are fabricated using a blanking and forming process that wouldn't be possible with heavy gage, high quality stainless steel. It's only after buying a replacement set of the same substandard grates that I came to discover that Weber actually does offer a proper set of heavy duty, durable stainless steel grates with heavy welded stainless rods under Weber model #9930. Honest reviews on Weber 7527 Stainless Steel Cooking Grates - 2 Pack
The original porcelain enameled cast iron cooking grates that came with my Weber Genesis Silver B Grill were starting to look awful. They had not exactly rusted through, but I think by the end of the summer, they would have been "history." I was not in favor of cooking on them for another season because I didn't want anything strange or rusty on my food so I searched the Weber website and saw the stainless replacement, but they were so expensive that I was hesitant to buy them.Of course, since I am a huge fan of Amazon, I searched here and found the stainless steel grates at an amazing price, at least $20 less than Weber and free shipping. I replaced my original grates with these stainless steel ones, thinking I could avoid the rusting I experienced with the old ones. The stainless steel ones did not rust, but after only two years, they came apart. The vertical grates separated from the horizontal supports, and some of the grates are bent. The problem is that the grates are too thin and seem unable to take the high heat the grill generates. I am going back to porcelain-coated grates.Saturday, May 17, 2014

this grill is great, i use it for grlling as well as smoking . but the one flaw it does have is cheap paint ,,, you would think that they would spend a little money on some heat resistant paint ,, a piece of paper caught fire under the grill and next thing i know was the paint on the bottom of the grill caught fire and after it all just peeled off ,, the fire lasted about 15 seconds ,,,i checked and a heat resistant paint in chevy orange 2500 degrees was only $5 ,,so common

This is a fun grill cover as I'm an alum of Minnesota and my son is a sophomore there. When I came across it online at Amazon I thought it would be nice when my son's friends come over and bon fire/cook out. My only concern is that we live near Chicago and the weather may wreck it as it's quite thin. I'm thinking I may buy a heavier cover for the winter and store this one for the better weather. Either way, it's a great design, fits well and looks awesome on my patio! Go Gophers!!!Best Deals for Mr. Bar-B-Q, Inc. 07753MNXGD University of Minnesota Grill Cover

I ordered this product because it was very inexpensive. Lesson learned. It says that it fits the Kenmore 141.16324 model....it doesn't even come close. I had to bend the heat shields because I had company over and had not choice. When the package arrived I removed my old shields which crumbled apart upon removal. This company needs to check their models to make sure that it actually fits. Spend the extra money and order elsewhere.

I bought these knowing that they were not exactly the right ones for my Brinkmann grill. The price was right and the dimension were close enough. However, I didn't know that they had 3/4 in pins on each end (apparently to fit the correct grill). I tried bending one to make it better fit my grill and it totally cracked the ceramic coating. That was my fault; now it will likely rust through at that point. They will do the job for me; I'm sure if they were used on the correct grill they would be fine.Honest reviews on PayandPack 4" x 15 1/16" MBP 91631 (5-pack) BBQ Barbeque Barbecue
Product arrived on time, and it easily drops into the grill. It provides one extra heat plate (since my grill only needs 4), but that's no issue. I did have to bend the foot of one plate out a bit to fit the grill, but that took about 2 seconds to adjust.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for PayandPack 4" x 15 1/16" MBP 91631 (5-pack) BBQ Barbeque Barbecue
The deflectors fit pretty well...not perfect, but with just a little bit of maneuvering, they fit well. I've used them a couple of times so far, and I can't really tell a difference from the originals. Now I just need them to sell some cheaper versions of the actual grilling racks. Sears wants $60 each for them :-0Saturday, February 1, 2014
Buy Solar BBQ Light
Solar Cordless LED Grill LightA great inventiona and so much easier than a flashlight! I'm not sure why some people did not like this unit mine has gotten a ton of use. It is super bright, and always ready to go in the evening, since it's been charging all day.
I recommend this light to anyone with a gas or charcoal grill, who wants to see what they're doing in the dark, and who wants to get an accurate perception of the coloring and degree of charring of the meat they are cooking, to ensure the right amount of done-ness.
If it had lit I doubt it would have stayed that way for long, at least not in this upstate NY climate, as its moisture resistance looks comparable to it's present illumination abilities.

This light is one of the reasons people say "Chinese junk". Even if this had worked which it did not. I bought this to replace a grill light I had from LL Bean. It is not as bright with 8 leds as the bean light with 2. It has a sensor that turns it on only when it is dark you can switch the light off but if you leave it on in the daytime you have to cover the solar cell to see if it is on. I left the Bean light on so I could tell that my grill was on and I would remember to shut it off and not run out of gas, that does not work with this light unless it is dark out. Overall for the price it is a good deal but if you have old eyes and a bad memory like I do you might want to go for a better one. Also after one rainstorm the switch cover has condensation in it not a good sign.Sunday, January 19, 2014
Discount Rutland Products 72 Liquid Stove & Grill Polish, Black 8 Oz
This works great. I got an antique wood stove that was looking pretty shabby and I applied this and it now looks great. It didn't even smell that bad upon the first firing of the stove. Definitely wear the gloves as it recommends as this will stain your skin for a few days. Great product.
First, the items needing polished/refinished:
1. Wood stove installed 2 years ago. Had a water leak above the stove which caused bad rusting on the top.
2. Cast iron skillet was on the stove and rusted bad inside and on the bottom.
3. Cast iron tea kettle badly rusted inside.
(All of these have been sitting like this and not been cared for, for about a year. So rust set in good)
Procedure:
1. I wore chemical resistant cleaning gloves. This process can get messy, so wearing the gloves is very helpful for all parts of this. Also have a shop vac, or other vacuum handy.
2. I used Steel Wool #000 to get off the rust on all of the items. This takes some patience but I was surprised after scrubbing off the rust that there was still a black finish underneath and not bare metal. All of it (except for the tea kettle) was surface rust.
NOTE: I was going to use a loose wire brush on my grinder, but after doing it with the steel wool I realized that would have been way overkill and would have probably damaged more than helped. I could see it being useful for somebody with a completely rusted item that goes to bare metal and needs some hardcore cleaning. Still recommend starting with steel wool, maybe coarser grain.
3. Vacuum up multiple times after using the steel wool to clear the surface so you can see what still needs to be done (brush tip works best). I used the steel wool, vacuum, steel wool, vacuum, probably 5-10 times before I was satisfied on each item.
4. Take a cotton cloth dampened with hot water and get any dust residue still on the surface. Wipe down with dry towel.
LET DRY COMPLETELY!!!!!
5. Take a soft cotton cloth, apply the polish directly to the top of the stove or to the cloth and spread it around. Work it in good. Let dry.
6. You can polish it up after it dries if you want with a soft cotton cloth. I started to, but I liked the finish without being polished, very deep black look.
7. After it was dry it didn't really smudge off unless I applied a lot of pressure. I didn't need to use the wood stove that day, but decided I wanted it to cure so I could put the kettles back on. Got it up between 350 degrees and 400 degrees for a good couple of hours. It had a mild odor, but no smoke.
KETTLE AND SKILLET: I did the same steps 1-6 for the kettle and skillet, but here are a few added steps after #6.
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees and put both in upside down to cure inside for 1 hour.
2. Turn off oven and let items cool down in oven. This took along time because they hold heat very well, just go do some other things for awhile.
3. Take them out and lather on some shortening on the cooking surface of the skillet and inside of kettle. I lathered on pretty thick, so they were pretty much a cream color where it was applied.
4. Let sit for 10-15 minutes, I let sit for 30 minutes for good measure :).
5. Take cloth or newspaper and wipe off the excess so your finish looks black again.
6. Put back in the oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Turn off oven and let cool again.
7. Take them out and they will look as good as new and ready to be used for cooking!I will probably refinish the pan and kettle every year with the shortening technique because it creates a nice layer between the cast iron finish and your food.
I honestly was so proud at how everything looked I kept telling my wife and she kept laughing, but had to agree that all of the finishes were fantastic.
Still have a little over half the bottle left.
Highly recommended if you couldn't tell. If your situation is similar, do not hesitate with this product!

I don't have a cast iron stove but I do have cast iron grates on a gas cooktop. Those grates were getting pretty discolored and "rusty" looking. Might have something to do with occasionally running them through the dishwasher. I wanted to try to darken them back to a nice deep black so I thought I'd give stove polish a try. It does actually work -sort of. I cleaned the grates thoroughly and then applied the liquid stove polish per the instructions. Then to "set" the polish I put the grates in my gas grill and fired up the heat. The process seemed to work. My cooktop grates are now nice and black once again. However, there is still some occasional rubbing off of the new blacking. Not enough to be a problem; just need to be aware that there could be some traces of black rub off if using a light colored cloth to clean them. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the way the project turned out and I have lots of polish left over so I can go back and touch up any spots that need freshening up from time to time.Tuesday, December 17, 2013
Reviews of Cuisinart CIT-100 Silicone Tipped Locking Grill Tongs, 18-Inch
I was looking for silicone based tongs since I melted my last rubber tipped tongs in my cast iron skillet. 18 inches is a little too long for me and the silicone tips slip off very easily.
This product would be better if it came in a shorter size and if the silicone tips didn't come off.
