Solar Cordless LED Grill LightA great inventiona and so much easier than a flashlight! I'm not sure why some people did not like this unit mine has gotten a ton of use. It is super bright, and always ready to go in the evening, since it's been charging all day.

I recommend this light to anyone with a gas or charcoal grill, who wants to see what they're doing in the dark, and who wants to get an accurate perception of the coloring and degree of charring of the meat they are cooking, to ensure the right amount of done-ness.

This light is one of the reasons people say "Chinese junk". Even if this had worked which it did not. (A conclusion reached after 2 days of trying to charge it, as the "on off switch" fails to clearly identify it's only actual purpose)

If it had lit I doubt it would have stayed that way for long, at least not in this upstate NY climate, as its moisture resistance looks comparable to it's present illumination abilities.

I bought this to replace a grill light I had from LL Bean. It is not as bright with 8 leds as the bean light with 2. It has a sensor that turns it on only when it is dark you can switch the light off but if you leave it on in the daytime you have to cover the solar cell to see if it is on. I left the Bean light on so I could tell that my grill was on and I would remember to shut it off and not run out of gas, that does not work with this light unless it is dark out. Overall for the price it is a good deal but if you have old eyes and a bad memory like I do you might want to go for a better one. Also after one rainstorm the switch cover has condensation in it not a good sign.
