I purchased this grill in 2007 and all was well for the first year or two. After that the grill deteriorated much quicker than expected for a grill in this price range. Within 4 years the firebox rusted through where the burners attach. I found the stainless steel surfaces difficult to keep clean to prevent rust spots after only a few years. The drip pan rusted through after three years. I was meticulous about keeping the grill covered when not in use, although it stayed outside at all times.

I was told by the retailer that to clean the grill I should heat the grill to high heat similar to a self cleaning oven, then to brush down the resulting ash inside the firebox and empty it out. I did this every other week or so, depending on how much I'd used the grill the prior week. This was not sufficient to keep the grill clean enough to prevent rust-through of the firebox. We're not talking a light coat of surface rust. This was full on, crumbling metal, rotted through and falling apart in chunks rust. Pretty much the entire interior cooking area had a heavy coat of rust where it hadn't completely rusted through.

Also, the burners rusted over after a couple of years, requiring regular scrubbing with a wire brush and clearing out of the flame jet holes to keep gas flowing through the burners. And the porcelain enamel finish on the grates deteriorated significantly over time and in spite a coat of oil applied everytime prior to placing foods on the heated grates, food sticking on the grates was a problem the entire time I owned it.

Oh, and the electric starter stopped working within two years.

In spite of all the rust and the ugly appearance after just a few years, the grill continued to heat well and evenly. I never had a complaint about how it cooked. But the rust got so bad, I was afraid propane might start leaking and create a hazard.

Wondering if its close proximity to our swimming pool contributed to this grill's premature demise. Pool, or no pool, based on many reviews I've read of Weber gas grills going strong after 15 years or more, I can't recommend this grill if your expectation is to have it look and operate well after more than five years. For the price, I expected longer life.

My biggest complaint with this grill is that the listing said that the charcoal grate was adjustable its not, is just sits at a low level in the bottom of the grill about 5 inches from the cooking grate. That's a pretty good separation from the heat source and the food. Otherwise, the grill is about what I expected, and will do the job just as good as the pricier Weber kettle grill. Adjustable grates would have given a higher rating, but as it is, this seems to be false advertising.

After unpacking and beginning assembly I realized that each handles had the screw threads filled with something making screwing them on impossible. One side threaded perfectly, and the other wouldn't thread at all, no matter how I tried. Wasted time on poor quality products.

these maple chips work great in my masterbuilt electric smoker they give off a nice smoke & flavor. The Flexiflame is an inexpensive, serviceable lighter. It's a shade over 11 inches long and is made of plastic and metal. Mostly I use this lighter to start fires in the fireplace, but it can also be used to light candles or charcoal in charcoal grills.

The neck of this lighter is indeed flexible easy to position and holds its shape.

Be aware that the lighter is child resistant, not childproof. It takes more than a little effort to squeeze the igniting trigger, making it child resistant.

The flame can be adjusted to some degree using a little switch.

One can refill this lighter using lighter fluid, but I haven't had the need to do so yet.

The flame will stay lit in a gently breeze, but when it's windy out the flame may die prematurely.

I also have a Scripto wind resistant flexible. It's much better in the wind, but I like the gentle flame of the Flexiflame better. Also those requiring an extra long lighter may want to look at other models available.

The Flexiflame lighter is made in China.

This is an excellent upgrade. I had a BG10 high pressure burn that was terrible. It had a orange flame that put soot all over the bottom of my pots no matter how much I adjusted the air vent. It did this day one brand new.

I replaced the burner with this one. It was a direct replacement. One screw in the center to hold it in place. This burner has great control of the heat low or high. It has a prefect blue flame. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I got one of these to automate my smoking process.

As a quick set up, I mounted mine on a smoker/grill I already had that got little use.

Now it is my smoker for cold smoking Salmon and Chicken breasts.

It did get sticky once so far, and I had to take it apart and clean it up to make it work properly again.

If not for that, I would have given it 5 stars.

It goes 20 minutes and feeds a new disk onto the burner. I have a large pan that was a part of the original smoker/grill that catches the used puck so they can finish smoldering, if anything is left.

I find it very easy to load it for a nice 8 hour run and just look out now and then to see the smoke wafting away that tells me it's working.

The salmon I smoke in it comes out delicious!

I use the frozen salmon portions we get at our local Costco. They are flash frozen Atlantic salmon and individually sealed in vacuum packed plastic.

I've smoked cod, and yellowtail, as well.

The Cod I made some Smoked Fish Dip for a Family gathering at my Baby Sis' house and it got rave reviews. So did the 2 pounds of Smoked Almonds I did at the same time in the smoker.

(My "dip" came out more like a "Pate" though. But still, they loved it!)

It worked great for about 20 hours usage, then it stopped advancing the pucks automatically.

Pressing the manual button ejects a puck just fine.

I took it apart and inside everything is clean and all wiring is connected.

Edit: I learned from digging through bradley forums that there is a fix which involves 1) waiting for 20 minutes until the puck starts to automatically advance and 2) unplug the smoker, then plug it back in. This happens because an electrical spike can cause the motor direction to become reversed. Bradley support says the smoker will work fine in either direction, but tons of customer posts say it does not. Leaving 1 star as they won't acknowledge or offer a fixed version of the unit.

Product works perfect. Smoking BBQ is done low and slow! if the plastic melts your cooking to hot! I got it out of the box cut a 5" hole in the side of my Pig Cooker and was ready to go. An hour later I loaded my Cooker/Smoker up with 3 pork shoulders, 2 beef briskets, and a ham. Over the next 17 hours all I had to worry about was keeping my burner at 250,and didn't look twice at the Bradley. It works like a charm!

Works great got it for a gift from my wife. Love it works great to cold smoke and is a nice addition to a smoker.

I use it with my propane smoker fill the wood tray with chunks start it with propane and burn wood. Then fire up the bradley for extra smoke. Works great and if i use the propane for heat i can do what ever around the house and not have to worry about running out of smoke. This way if i want to i can set the propane and turn on the Bradley and basically forget it. Was a great way to full automate my cooking process. Great for the weekend smoker or guy like me who love to smoke meat but doesnt have the time anymore to tend a traditional smoker.

Everything works as advertised. The install instructions were very clear and the unit works better than expected. In fact, all our sourdough buddies thought this was a crazy idea, until the first batches of smoked salmon came out of the smoke house! Now they are all asking if they can use it. FYI, it does seem to add about 20 degrees to the smokehouse in relation to outdoor temp, but for what I'm doing with it that's just about perfect.

The Ribolator....I like it but It has some problems for Me...first off I have a Weber Genesis EP-330 the ribolator will not fit in without removing the flavor bars...it bottoms out on them...thus you have your burners exposed to all the grease ect..when cooking indirect the middle burners are off and all that crap coats them and plugs them up...leaving you with a good clean up...I quess you could cover them with foil to keep it off them

Next thing is balance you better be sure the food on it is balanced and not slide around or it will tip off inside the grill..it happened on some large chicken breast as the cooked the shrunk and changed the balance and fell off..

Finaly clean up is a pain in the butt it says throw it in the dishwasher...well mine dosnt realy clean it well enough for me so you have to take it apart off the spit and scrub in the sink...much easier to just cook it indirect and scub your grill grates after use

Now to the good....Veggies...realy nice job on veggies being able to grill them in the tray and not chase them around the grates....as far as cooking goes the Ribs were great...the chicken was great and the Veggies were a delight...as far as the claim goes how rotisery food is so much better ...that is true on a rotisery because the juice of the meat stays inside as it goes around keeping it moist and tender...the ribolator is more of a ferris wheel and the juce drips out the bottom of the tray.

I think in the future I will just use the indirect heat method on my Weber...The Ribolator works but just to much trouble and clean up for me...It does have its cool factor to show your friends on a race Sunday when they see the Chicken and veggies on a ferris wheel...LOL

This cooks good. Depending on your grill, it might allow you to cook more meat with indirect heat.

The cleanup on this is a nightmare though. I quit using mine after 3-4 times because the cleanup was so difficult.

It might be dishwasher safe, but the dishwasher wouldn't even begin to clean it. I am not sure if it is the finish or what, or just because it is not coated.

I can tell you that it will make your food turn out good.

The stainless steel fork is pretty thin and bends easily. Mine arrived bent into a complete curl. The box was crushed in shipment. It was easy to straighten out but one area was bent into a right angle and wouldn't straighten out completely. The metal is just too thin and soft but the points on the fork are very sharp. I really like the wood handle. It is nice and long with a comfortable grip. However, it comes with hand wash and towel dry instructions. "Do not soak or immerse tool in water."

So the handle is nice but the fork itself is pretty weak and bends easily.

While the Char-Griller grill has been a great purchase, the cover sold as a bundle was a disaster. After only two uses, the cover began to tear and not at the seams, the edges of the grill itself ripped through the middle of the cover. Sewed it to stop the rip and within another month had two more enormous gashes in the material in other locations, rendering the cover unusable. As other reviewers have noted about these covers, you'd be much better off with a tarp or a cover made from truly rip-stop material.

After three months of use, the grill cover is fading badly and I found mold all over the good of my pit cover is not keeping the water out well at all. This is all very unacceptable and I'm in the process of deciding what to do. The cover does look very good out the bag and is an excellent fit, so if you're able to keep your pit under a covered patio or something along those lines, it could be great for you, the reason I still gave it two stars.

Bought this cover because it was the lowest price anywhere! This is a replacement cover for the original one that was purchased 2 years ago. Same factory cover, but the fabric has been upgraded. It appears that this should help the new cover last longer.

I do a lot of camping with my motorcycle, and this grill is perfect for light camping and day hiking. Fits right into my saddlebag, sets up easy and quick. Cooks great! You can use either charcoal or small branches from under a hardwood tree such as Maple or Oak. Very well made. If you enjoy camping you love this little grill, however it is small, it will hold half a chicken, one large or two average steaks. It is great for grilling vegetables, as the movable grill lends itself for finding the proper temperature.

Yes indeed........ if you camp alone or just a couple..... you will love this little guy!!!! Clean up is a plus as well just brush the ashes from the bottom plate, wash the stainless grill with soap or sand.

Tightening mechanisms stripped the very first time using. Does not swivel. Does not clean well at all. The bottom tray prevents heat from actually cooking food if it's over a fire, and too small to put logs in. It's tiny and very cheap. Waste of money. It was super disappointing.

Great little grill works exactly as you think it would. It would be a full five star product if the stake was a little longer. The fire pits at some campgrounds are pretty high and in that situation you'll most likely find that you don't have much room to move the grate up. But its a great product and it worked well on my recent camping trip.

The griddle is HEAVY and has a small, rough cooking surface (I guess I didn't pay attention to the specs.) I expected a less weighty griddle with a smoother, LARGER cooking surface. That being said, it fits the grill nicely.
