This works really well. Saves the oven from being on over an hour. You do have to spray the rack first. The potato skins will stick some if you don't.

I purchased several of these for Christmas gifts as I already own one and love it. The recipients were all thrilled to know that they could use it in the oven as well. The potatoes are delicious cooked on this handly little device-roasted flavor even in an indoor oven.

Cooks taters faster than just putting them on the grate; only downside is that the taters stick to the prongs that hold them. Even after seasoning the rack, spraying with PAM, etc, taters still stick, but otherwise it is what it is.
