I've used single skewer for years and hated the fact that the food would spin on the skewer when I attempted to turn it on the grill. These skewers work great and are worth the money.

I'm totally sold on double prong skewers and own quite of few brands and different sizes. Double prong work well for shrimp, scallops, veggies and fruit. Heck they work well on everything...by holding everything in place and making it easier to rotate on the grill. I bought these purely for the size/length. They're great.
