I enjoy my new grill, and will say that it tops my Weber Genesis grill quite easily. The stainless steel used in the construction of many internal parts is very heavy gauge, a definite plus. Is it the best grade of stainless steel? I do not think so. It is magnetic which in my amateur machinist mind means it is a lesser grade that may not resist corrosion as well as other grades, but I am not a metallurgist by any means. The performance of the grill is excellent, I have cooked with direct, indirect and rotisserie style over the past 3 weeks and all have come out perfect. ALmost every meal gets made outdoors during this warm Ohio summer . I do love having a natural gas grill rather than propane. I get WAY more heat and fast warmup. I can use my new grill just like I use my heavy duty indoor stove to make anything one might imagine cooking indoors. The only downside is that it is difficult to use very low heat on the side burner. They have to make the flame big enough to resist blowing out easily outdoors I suppose. But one can get around that minor inconvenience. I would recommend this grill over any grill offered by the "Home Depot's" or "Lowes" big box stores. This grill has the same bells and whistles except it is way well made to last for many more years than even the best the big box offers.

Have a friend ready to help you assemble it. It took me two hours and several beers to assemble. I needed an extra set of hands now and then to do a few key tasks when getting the grill out of the box and put together.

THis is the second grill Amazon sent me. The first came to my door with a rather innocent looking box cut along a corner seam. No damage was apparent until delving into the depths of the large box. There I found a very damaged grill. The heavy aluminum casting was destroyed by the careless shipper (ABF). I also found minor damage to two other key parts, and some parts missing. I found all this maybe 20 min after I got it, so called the dispatch terminal and asked for it to be picked up immediately. The driver was still in the area so they came back, and by the time I had it all in the box it was whisked away.

Amazon was very helpful and I had a new one in half the time it took to get the first grill. It was perfect this time and I am a happy camper!

The actual grill is of good quality. It produces a very even, intense heating distribution. The problem we encountered was that the parts to assemble the grill were packaged very insecurely, so some pieces were damaged. The warming grill was bent which caused the porcelain to chip, the spit rod was bent, there were dents on the stainless steel shelves, and the ignitor for the side burner was broken. In addition, the axle rod to assemble the wheels was missing. We have been in contact with the manufacturer via email, and are still waiting for the damaged and missing parts to arrive (requested status update on 8/28 and have not received a response). The other major problem was that the assembly instructions are very poor. There is only a picture schematic to refer to, no written instructions, so it was hard to follow.

I had been using a sears kenmore elite propane grill for 11 years. I had put new parts in it after 5 years, and was at the crossroads again. I decided to look around to see what grills were selling for. I wanted a larger surface area and wanted to get a grill that had a back burner-infra-red. There are a lot of impostors out there, that show well BUT are low quality. I liked the Webbers a lot but the did not feature a side burner nor back-burner. The rotisserie was not included. My internet search led me to the sovereign grills which peeked my interest. Mucho primary grill surface, free shipping, rotisserie included, & side burner. Order was processed and delivered in 7 days. No broken parts, no missing parts. Set-up, not bad, 2 hours. I put together a webber last week for a friend and this one came in 10000 pieces, hence 3 hours. Broil king pumps out the heat. The stainless steel grates are as heavy as they come. The only gripe I have is that I put the stainless steel body to the magnet test....it failed miserably. The magnet stuck like krazy glue.(not on my old kenmore) Time will tell on the durability on my new grill. I do take good care of my "tools".

WE BOUGHT THIS GRILL AFTER SEVERAL MONTH OF SEARCHING FOR THE RIGHT GRILL. WHEN WE UNPACKED IT, THERE WAS A HUGE DENT IN THE FRONT PANEL. WE CALLED THE MANUFACTER. THEY SENT THE PART OUT PROMPTLY, THEY DID NOT WANT THE PICTURES WE TOOK TO PROVE THE DENT. THEY EVEN SENT A GRILL KIT OUT FOR OUR TROUBLE. WE HAVE SINCE PUT THE GRILL TOGETHER, FAIRLY EASY, AND USED THE GRILL. IT IS EVERY THING THAT WAS PROMISED. VERY STURDY CONSTRUCTION, GREAT GRATES, THEY ARE VERY HEAVY AND LOOK LIKE THEY WILL LAST FOREVER.
