These Traeger brand pellets have been great so far. I have been using them in my Traeger Junior for about 8 months. I used pecan pellets thanksgiving of 2012 and smoked a maple bourbon turkey. They turkey turned out great and I am positive that the pellets aided in my success. I would recommend these pellets to all pellet grillers. The ash is minimal, and the flavor is legendary.

Fresh, smell great, taste even better. Oak pellets are the best because they burn slightly cooler than other woods. Arrived fast and ready for smokin'!!!

I think that wood chips add more flavor. You can not smell the actual apple or pecan smoke in the pellets compared to wood chips.
