I'd buy again. It's for a grill that came with a single spark generating port that is grounded to the chassis metal at the mounting hole. That sparker, even after 3 warranty replacements from the manufacturer, would constantly corrode where it was grounded. I bought this one and sealed it with O-rings at the hole and used the 2nd spark port to ground separately to the grill frame leg.

It has worked perfectly even after the heaviest rainfall.

This solved a "stupid" design problem of the grill manufacturer.

worked great for me, exact fit replacement. Spark is strong again and I can use my bj's club permasteel grill once more.

Works fine, but the diameter of the battery/button housing was smaller then original so fit was not even close. Had to make a shim so entire assembly wouldn't fall out when button was pressed.

What a relief to find a quick and inexpensive replacement ignitor (they call them generators) for 1 year old Kenmore grill. At 1/3 the cost of a replacement part from Sears it was well worth the very short wait to receive the product. Been in use for over 45 days. No problems.
