I expect these to last about 5 years in ordinary use. Eventually the grill's heat/cool cycle will crack the porcelain and allow the steel core to rust. There are stainless steel parts available "out there" and if the grill is still around in 6 years, well, I will decide then whether these should be an "every-five-years" item or if I should upgrade to a permanent solution.

I was very happy to find these replacement heat plates for my Kenmore grill. It fit exactly and brought extra years of use for the BBQ. Very reasonable price and great prime shipping. They don't list all the model numbers but this plate looked exactly like the ones we had held together with foil. It was confirmed to the right part when received. They should last for several years. very goofd replacement parts for my uniflame 3 burner grill that is 4 years old now i will order the regulater and hose from this site I do not like the 20 shipping charge for the regulator
