This is among the best lump charcoals out there. It has a very high percentage of usable pieces with little waste, burns clean with no sparking or sparklers (no fire hazzard like Cowboy or other Generica brands) and burns long and clean with minimal ash at the end of the cook. Great temps and easy management with this.

I'm giving this two stars. The burn time is short. There's lots of ash production. A lot of small and very small pieces & dust. Obviously the previous reviewer has mistaken this for another lump charcoal, represents the company or is the seller. The Naked Whiz says nothing at all positive about this product. And, to boot it is incredibly over-priced. Unlike wood in my grill fire. I stopped buying his brand for a year or so because there are always rocks in the ashes.Either figure out how to remove them or don't call it 100% hardwood
