I was very happy with the purchase of this grate. It is made from heavy gage rods and is very strong and durable.

I bought it to go with the Weber 2726 Wood Burning Fireplace I purchased a couple of weeks ago. It fits perfectly snug in the stand that supports the fireplace cover.

I needed a couple of 26" grates for a smoker I was building. I had looked at buying them from Weber, but they wanted more than $40 each for them. I was somewhat concerned about the quality of these grates at half the price, but took a chance and ordered them. I was surprised when they arrived at how heavily built and solid they were, with a nice chrome finish.

The other thing that I was a little concerned about was the statement that shipping would be delayed 3-4 days by the vendor. No problems there, either. If they delayed getting it out, they made up for it by shipped UPS and it was at the house in a week.

This is very heavy duty. The hot-dogs and burgers don't fall through the grate as in wider models. It is labeled as a 25", but that's from handle to handle. The diameter at the shortest point of the curve is 24". This worked perfect for me, as I placed it on a metal 55Gal drum (23.5") that I cut in half and placed inside of decorative bricks to make my own fire pit and grill. I then purchased a 48" plastic, round table-top that I put over the pit (after it cools of course) with a stepping stone in the center to hold it down and use it to sit around playing cards and drinking beers.

I bought this for a camping trip I was going on last July. It worked well. I cooked a hundred hot dogs, tons of hamburgers and a few steaks on it during that trip. It was slightly smaller then the campsite fire ring but it's easy to prop it. It does fit perfect on my fire ring at home though. I've used it for some pretty creative meals for guests. Everyone mentions how they want one and I just point them here.

I haven't found anything wrong with it. It cleans up like a grate should and is pretty solid.
