This left an odd like taste in all the meats i cooked compared to other brand of mesquite wood I've cooked with and it also left the meat dryer comparatively too. Great chips for smoking. Give all a great flavor. I have used these before when my brother-in-law lived in New Mexico, he would send them to me. Great to find a new source since he doesn't live out west anymore.
