I purchased this thermometer based on what I read on amazingribs.com, one of the most comprehensive and informative sites I have ever seen. It arrived promptly and two days later I smoked a brisket. The directions were easy to follow and the thermometer helped me keep my webber charcoal grill around 250 and also gave me the meat temperature as well as the amount of time that I smoked the meat.

I've used it a number of times since and it has worked flawlessly. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone that wants to do a more accurate job of grilling by cooking the meat to the correct temperature. I'm considering a second unit so I can monitor the temps on different meats.

The directions are confusing but you can easily find the youtube tutorial that explained it so much easier. Excellent product.

This is an awesome device for remote monitoring of your grill or smoker. Once I get the Kamado Joe up to temperature I can take the remote with me and get stuff done around the house or in the garage. It takes all the guess work out of smoking low and slow. This little gadget has made me a better griller!

great product, this is a second set of units so i can keep tabs on more meat at the same time. as long as you pair one then the other there is no communication conflict.
